On Friday, January 21, 2022, my father went to pick up his two prescription medicines from CVS, 321 N. Main Street, Saluda, SC 29138. There was someone by the name of Angie that told him he needed a copy of his Medicare on file, because the only card on file was an RX discount card. He has been paying for his medicine out of pocket. The problem I have, he wasn't given his medication. If he has been paying out of pocket why would she refuse to give his medications? She should've let my father get his medicine (pay for), tell him Mr. West check you Medicare & see if it can help with the cost of your medications. It was wrong on all levels for her not to give him the medicine to him, because of a "card"! My father is 76 years old and needed his medicine and should've never went two days w/o taking his meds. Provide customer service with compassion, humanity, and just plain common sense.
Desired outcome: If training is required, do it ASAP!
