10/ 21/2023 Lakeway Randall's a customers for about 8 year's for the past year half.The store GM is very Racist the decorator said fat black bicth to the baker the baker come right back and said I don't like [censored]s, your last decorators was the most respectful people ever and loved their job SMH do something about this racist stuff bring back people that care about there customers
Desired outcome: Hire people that care about their job and their customers
Randall's - employees being treated badly by department managers with no consequence from the store director
Myself and at least five other employees have taken or complaints about the floral department manager to our store director multiple times and nothing has been done she belittles us she's condescending she calls names she also talks badly about other employees to each other she has on numerous occasions yelled at employees she has told us to work looks like [censor] she has sat there and watched us work extremely hard while she does absolutely nothing and then tells us it's our fault she doesn't get her job done several of us have complained and nothing has been done clearly the store is being sabotaged by upper management because of their lack of give a f myself and at least five other employees have taken or complaints about the floral department manager to our store director multiple times and nothing has been done she belittles us she's condescending she calls names she also talks badly about other employees to each other she has on numerous occasions yelled at employees she has told us to work looks like [censor] she has sat there and watched us work extremely hard while she does absolutely nothing and then tells us it's our fault she doesn't get her job done several of us have complained and nothing has been done clearly the store is being sabotaged by upper management because this untrained woman is still allowed to "manage " this department. She is incompetent and undertrained. She is incapable of unloading and putting away any size shipment the department gets in. She leaves new product in boxes for so long that mold grows and we then have to throw the product away. Myself and others have picture of the molded plants left in the department cooler. When we have holidays or special event ( prom, Easter, Valentine's Day) she does not do any of the prep the department needs to be ready. Nor will she allow anyone else. The Friday before prom when there were 4 people scheduled in the department ( including our amazing designer Bard) she did not allow anyone to make corsages or boutonnieres at all She waited until the day of prom to start making anything. Then was short and condescending to the employees that weee helping. She was flustered bc she had so many orders to do and she didn't leave enough time to get them done. We were the ONLY store in the Lakeway. We caves area still "taking orders" and she refused to make "extras"for people who would be walk-ins. This woman makes working for Randalls a nightmare. And the lack of effort by management to keep this woman from yelling, belittling, talking down to, and putting her hands on people is disgusting. This woman had he no punishment for the way she treats us. She is usable to perform the tasks needed for the department to run properly. She throws away product without distressing it. She make the smallest task take 4 times as long bc she is so scatterbrained she can't complete anything and then blames all of the employees This woman is out of control and it's only a matter of time before she treats a customer this way. The floral department is suffering bc of the "manager" that has been placed there. Something needs to be done before all of the employees walk out.
If you took the complaint to your manager and nothing has been done about it, you can call your HR and file a complaint there.. the number should be posted in the break room by law. You can talk to your co-workers to see if they are also willing to talk and you can give those names to HR. It doesn't have to be sexual to be considered harassment. Talking down at someone or talking about her employees is creating a toxic environment.
