we have to stand in line for 30 minutes with 1 or 2 registers open. then they let the stubbs card people in front of us-like we are second class citizens. it tkes everyone three times as long at the ticket window-as you now have to choose seats. we tried to go inside to purchse our ticketd-and were told we don't sell tickets in here any longer. we will never go back to an amc theatre again. hollywood cinemark is cheaper — we re not passed up in line by others-there are recliners in the regular theaters — we can buy tickets on line at no cost-we can just choose a seat when we enter-and we do not have to buy a stupid card that we have no use for! so this is a no brainer! you have just run off 6 19 year customers in my family — and good riddance to you!
AMC Theatres - ticket booth
I was at AMC Gulfpoint 30 This morning 9/21/2019 to see Hustlers. I get to the theater and the line was horrendous! The worst I've ever seen, and this is at 10:30 in the morning. The reason the line was so slow is because for one they had only 1 person doing ticket sales and then they had to pick their seats. It was like that for over an hour! By the time I got to the window my movie had already started which began at 11:15 . Then the little smartass teenager they had working the tickets said that she wasn't selling tickets anymore! I mean what the hell gives! I've been going to this theater for over 20 years and numerous management changes. Some good, some not so good. But the management that is at this location has convinced me to NEVER come to AMC Theaters again! I've made my mind up that I'm done getting treated like I don't matter by the staff at this location. I will now be taking my business to Cinemark. I had a wonderful experience at Cinemark. They made me feel welcome, the theater was spotless and the seating was a major upgrade to AMC's crappy seats. That's another thing. Why do you upcharge to get better seating? Cinemark doesn't make you pay a premium for decent seating. I will be sure and let all my friends and family know about my experience at your theater. You see I am the reason that they all went to and did business with your theater but no more. Goodbye AMC!
I went to an AMC theater today with a gift card I received 6 months ago. I was told that the type of card I had, had been hacked and that I would have to get it reactivated. But when I went to the web site I was given there was no option to reactivate it.
