This case manager Kimberley Meza at Hermann Hospital 6411 Fannin is the absolute worst human being I have ever come across in the Medical field. My mother in law was life flight to this hospital April 15th 2023 where she received extensive care and 9 surgeries. Literally the day after her surgery she told me I had 24 hours to get her approved at a rehab facility and get her out. I told this horrible inconsiderate lady that I needed to make sure she would be transferred to a facility that was going to be comfortable for my mother in law to thrive in. This disgusting inconsiderate woman shows up telling my mil we found a place and you’re leaving at 4. Without our approval, without allowing us to tour it first or ask questions or get an ok that the location is even ok as we would have appreciated if she was closer to us so we can be there as often as possible to support my mil. Well no this horrible human forced my mil out to a facility that is outdated and unclean and unattentive to her needs. I called for 4 hours trying to reach someone to this facility to make sure she arrived ok to no avail. My mil needed a few more days that we were more than happy to financially cover if need be so that we could find her the right facility. But Kim Meza booted my mil out like garbage. I plant to take further action at her inhumane actions!
Desired outcome: I want your case management system to learn compassion and consideration for patients and come up with a better plan before threatening and booting patients out like garbage.
Memorial Hermann Health System - front desk- angela perez
I have been waiting in the waiting room for 7 hrs in the jones pavilion hall and all i wanted was an update on my family member's Sx. So i go up to the front desk attendants and their job is to help, well i asked ANGELA PEREZ for an update and she refused to make the call to check the status . I had asked hours before and another nice young indian woman helped me by calling for an update. Why couldn't ANGELA PEREZ just do that for me?! She's been doing it for everyone else!...I am beyond disappointed in her. I my self am in the medical field and know how this goes, i do my best to help my patients specially in these nerve recking hours. SHE NEEDS TO BE SUSPENDED FOR THIS, SO SHE LEARNS TO RETRAIN HER SELF AND COME TO WORK WHEN SHE IS READY TO ACTUALLY BE HELP TO THE PT'S FAMILIES! IF NOT FIRED! She shows no respect by the way, with her faces making you feel as if you were interfering with her time. This is absolutely unexceptable! Please do something about this. Give someone else the chance to have the job she obviously is not proud to have. Thank you.

Boy, it's people like you that make a hospital administrative job extra special.
First, by the tone of your email, it sounds as if you have some emotional problems... And it also sounds like you have a sense of entitlement. Maybe her co worker did, in fact call, and they were waiting for a status. You don't know...and you are wrong, for posting such a nasty complaint, while you were allowing emotion to vividly color your opinion.
Second, if you think that a doctor can step out of surgery whenever he gets a call for status, you are also sorely mistaken. You had seven hours to think about this!?
My point is: just because YOU want updates doesn't mean that a hospital can drop what they are doing and handle you with kit gloves. It's not feasable. Grow up, and wait your damn turn.
