On 5/10/23 my animal had an grooming appointment for 8:00 am However I received a call that my dog was injured while getting groomed. The groomer cut his tail. So the worker transported my dog to the animal hospital north west Houston. So my dog have to have immediate surgery at that time due to the injury too his tail, So they had to amputate some of his tail, I was traumatized due to the fact my dog was too. It was ongoing situation about the actual footage on what happen and how my dog was injured. It took a week before I was contacted about the situation. That was untechnical, slothfulness and carelessness on their part! A policy and procedure need to be updated retrain staff on grooming and safety issues. Now my dog has to do laser treatment to try to get his tail to heal properly or they might have to amputate to whole tail off. Do you know the general manager had the audacity to offer me a free groom on 249 which is another localization area in Houston Tx. I said No sir I will not. My dog tail will not ever grow of course and yes I am aware you guys paying the pet bill which was a problem at first. My dog need to be compensated for his injury and this should never had happened to him period. Just animal cruelty...
Desired outcome: Compensated for my dog tail being cut off from a carelessness, negligence groomer. Which took the manager a week to discuss with me
