Yesterday, I went to Sports Clip in Longview (Gilmer Road). I walked in proceeded to get assigned stylist. I showed her a picture of the bob haircut I wanted and she said she had a lot of experience doing this haircut. I wanted it washed, cut and styled. She said they didn’t do curling irons or flat iron and they style with brush. I said no problem. Well she began cutting my hair and when finished she told me to go home and flat ironed. I did and my hair was hacked. Sides were not even plus chunks missing and really an even cut all over. I went back up there and she started dry cutting my hair trying to fix it. She then says this is really more of barber shop and they do mostly men’s hair. I said well why didn’t you tell me this before you cut my hair, told her to just stop cutting because she was making things worse, I got up and told her she should make women aware that the shop is mainly men oriented and that I should have been given the option to get my hair cut somewhere else. Now I have butchered hair and now I have to pay for someone to fix and I’m probably gonna have to go 4 inches shorter just to fix this hair. I paid for a crappy haircut and I want my money back but they can’t do that. Do better!
Desired outcome: I want them to refund my money. I am elderly and on a limited budget and now I have to wait till my next check to get my hair repaired. Make women aware that it’s primarily a men’s salon.
