My son has been a patient at this location since July 2023 and has been seen by five different dentist. I’ve paid $6000 for the treatment that should have been completed back in September and it might be completed late February or early March of 2024. Again, it might. You’d think that would be the worst but today was the worst ever.
The office personnel who by the way no one knew her name because this employee works at a different location and she’s merely on loan being that they are short staffed. This mediocre employee has no respect and treats patients and their families as if they’re doing us a favor. Her idiocy attitude should take a pause and realize that without patients she wouldn’t have a job.
I walk in this morning and inform her that we’re there for our sch. appt. She asked for the name and I let her know that I’d like to speak with the dentist. She rudely replied, Ok. Just sit over there.” I didn’t appreciate her tone but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. As I know everyone has a bad day.
A few minutes later she called me to the front desk and while speaking to me she was reviewing the notes entered in the system. She was telling me rather than asking me what I should do and not what I’d like to do.
This employee stated, “I suggest if you’re not happy you should go to a private practice or go to Aspen Dental.” I replied, “You don’t know my son’s history and besides you don’t speak to me with that kind of tone or rudeness!” At this time the other employee intervened and asked, “Yes. You’re Mrs. Contreras.” I replied, “Yes.” She turned to the incompetent employee to inform her about my history but she tuned her off and continued with her rudeness. She then said, “I see if the dentist is wanting and willing to speak with you because she doesn’t have to.” I replied, “ She will.”
When they call my son to the back office I asked the dental asst. for the employee’s name. The dental asst. asked me to describe her. I told the truth when I said, “She short, fat and plain looking.” I wasn’t joking nor was I being rude. Telling the truth isn’t rude when asked. She snickered and knew exactly who I was referring to. I also asked the dentist and repeated the same info because once again I was asked to describe her.
About 10 min. later this rude individual approached me and says, “I heard you’d like to file a complaint. Well, I wrote down the number and email so you can contact them. And by the way it’s rude to say that I was fat because I’m pregnant and don’t feel well. I replied, “It’s not rude to be truthful when asked and I suggest you go away.” She took a few steps forward and says,” I.” Again, I replied, “Go away.” She replied, “I.” Again, I replied, “I said go away.” She did walk away and didn’t say another word.
I think she finally realize how unprofessional she was being but it was too late. I’ll continue to inform other parents, patients young and elderly that they should receive treatment from this establishment if they’re gong to be treated with no respect and no hospitality. No one should ever be treated as I was treated today.
Very disappointed and disgust
Desired outcome: Apology and contact so we can further discuss since I can enter exactly what I prefer because it contains too many characters.
