My husband and I went to Arby's today, 10/27/2014, around 16:30 because we wanted to try the new King's Hawaiian BBQ Brisket sandwich. The sandwich was ok. The store and the employee we had to deal with were deplorable. When we first entered the store, she was leaned on the prep counter reading something on her cell phone. She glanced up, rolled her eyes, then went back to reading her phone. WE had to wait for her to finish before she took our order. Her entire attitude said she would rather be anywhere but where she was. She wasn't rude, exactly. She was just unfriendly and seemed very annoyed. Not one time did she make eye contact or smile at us. When our food was done, my husband met her halfway to the table and she practically tossed the tray at him without so much as a word. While we were eating, we could hear her talking to another employee in the back and THAT employee was telling her about a complaint from a drive thru customer about her attitude. The surly employee remarked, "I don't have to be nice. I just have to take their money." When we left, it was the employee in the back that told us to have a nice day. In addition to shoddy service, the store was absolutely filthy! There was not a single clean table, the floors were sticky and there were flies everywhere. The parking lot was also a mess. I now understand why every time I drive by this store, the parking lot is empty. I used to love Arby's, but I honestly do not know if I will ever go back. At least not to this store.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
