My family (party of 6) attended my birthday dinner at the above location. We all ordered our main entree and was very angry about the time we had to wait (30 minutes or more) and this was just for the salad. People that were seated after my family, were all receiving their food. I asked other employees "did our waiter leave"? The answer was no he is still here, but we all work together". After this remark by myself, service seemed to improve.
When the food arrived, there lies another problem. I had ordered Prime Rib, MED-RARE. I received a nice piece of Prime Rib which was WELL DONE. Of course, getting immediate help from our server was always an issue. When he finally arrived to address my concern, he stated "that is all the Prime rib we had". Why in the world would LongHorn serve a dish like that and not give me an option to order something else without causing delay. Eventually, I did receive my food only after my family had finished their meal. This ruined the entire evening for my family because it was for my birthday.
On our way out, I had a discussion with the manager on duty that evening about how upset I was. He said he would send us a gift card and I wrote down my email address for him. Today is Friday, 11/1/2019 and still haven't heard from anyone. We have all eaten at LongHorn many times and I am well aware of what to expect from the food to waiters/waitresses.
