I have purchased a money order for a apartment complex that I was trying to get approved at and have been denied by the apartment complex. So they returned my money order to me but have written their apartment complex name on the line that says Pay to the order of. I called Western Union and explained my situation also noting to them that I am homeless and won't be able to receive my refund if they are mailing it. Western Union told me to take it back to the place I have purchased it at and write on the back "not used for what it's intended" so I said ok. Went to the Smiths at 4080 West 9000 South, West Jordan, Utah (where it was purchased) just to be told that the policy has changed due to corporate. I explained that I have no real bank account because the money was pulled from my Cash App and I am homeless with no family or friends to help me but was still denied due to policy being changed. What am I supposed to do now? No bank will open an account with me, I'm homeless, and I have no one in the state to help me. If I had known this would happen and that you have changed your policies then I would have never purchased a money order from your establishment. If you are changing your policy then why have you not contacted Western Union to explain these policy changes? I just want my money back without all this hassle, I'm already going through a tough time and this just makes it worse.
Desired outcome: I want my money back! That's all!
