I went for a movie at AMC Alderwood mall, WA for an IMAX screening. Below is the movie details:

Throughout the movie, AC WAS SHUT OFF. It was for 3hrs and were were fully sweating when we came out.
The local staff said they will refund the ticket, but there was no one at the guest services. Once they showed up, the person started saying, they can't refund the ticket as we had a choice to see the movie in a non-IMAX screen.
Desired outcome: Refund or give me a new IMAX ticket applicable for any single IMAX show
AMC customer care emailed me a movie voucher. This complaint is now resolved.
1. "Watch Out": There are some jobless folks creating a duplicate profile with same name as mine (with a "." at the end) and posting junk.
2. Dear friend "Octatron" is not keeping well mentally. Please be kind to him and his tantrums.

1. We only stayed for the entire movie because, we came out mid way and the staff said, we can continue watching the movie if we wanted and then reach out for refund pass after. It sucked, but I didn't want to leave the movie mid-way as it was indulging, despite the heat. (Unfortunately, some one like you was at the guest services after the movie)
2. Your logic is, "Well you didn't die of heat. So, it was screened at livable conditions".
3. You seem to not care about what we experienced at all and directly conclude that I am a cheap-o trying to get a free movie ticket. Well, sorry to break it to you, I am not.
4. Looking at your attitude (and your past comments insulting other complaint givers), I won't be surprised if you are one of AMC staff in disguise. If you ARE an AMC staff, it is on AMC for forcing you to be so hostile to customers with genuine complaints. I feel sorry for you.
The shocking thing is, when I saw the google map reviews for this location, someone complained about AC shut off in IMAX screen ONE DAY before (July 15th). I thought it was a temporary issue and AMC didn't want to disappoint folks by cancelling the show. Now, I am suspicious that AMC is deliberately turning off AC, may be to save costs ?

Company sent me a new movie voucher.
BTW, this was not the response due to ComplaintsBoard website. This website is pretty useless actually and filled with trolls. I contacted AMC via twitter and got the issue resolved
