My family ordered pizza approximately 6pm on 5/29 and were told the delivery time would be roughly an hour. Around 8pm we called the location again to see what was taking so long. The manager -Tyler- said that we called the wrong location and they voided our order. He never called to let us know that they weren't delivering the pizza. When I asked why he didn't call his answer was, " I got a little busy and forgot to call you back". Not once did he even apologize, or offer any sort of rectification of the matter. His only suggestion was "You'll have to call the right location". This is completely egregious behavior for a manager, especially in a customer service environment. I know that Dominos as a corporation prides themselves on customer service, but they dropped the ball on this big time. Tyler's lack of concern or empathy in this matter only shows the skill set needed to be "in charge" of store # 7028. I normally am not a fan of Dominos pizza and the only reason I ordered from the store this time is my children begged me to. Needless to say I will never spend another dime here.

They could have more staff and more phone lines, but then they would have to raise prices, and you would still order from the place that is cheaper. Yes, order online. Your order will be sent to the correct store, you won't be waiting on hold, your pizza will be made and on the way while somebody else is still waiting on hold. I've seen good pizza at grocer, at good price, just heat it in the oven. Turn the Tv off and help the kids do their homework - that way they won't be seeing so many commercials and demanding Dominos or McDonalds. After homework, teach them how to cook, how to make pizza.
I don't currently work for Dominos, but I can explain. The manager or other person that took your order didn't know the area, because they were new to that store or just filling in from another store. The driver who does know, was on the road, and informed the manager later that the delivery was too far out of area for him to deliver. During the evening rush, all the phones are jammed with incoming calls, there is no line reserved to call out. The manager did not stand by a phone hoping to get a line because there were many pizza to make. The manager should have apologized, but has no power to give you a free or discounted pizza from the other store. This is not about Dominos - same things happen in every high volume pizza shop.
wow, did you try ordering online?
