Greetings,

I waited in checkout line and when it was my turn the checker, Victoria, began scanning my item but never even made eye contact or greet me. When she was half way done scanning my items, I said hello. Nothing. I said Hi a bit loader. Nothing. I told her it's rude to ignore customers. She said she was busy reading a coupon. I told her I've been infront of you for awhile and there was time. She copped an attitude and I told her her customer service is [censored]ty. A cashier nearby called over "are you being difficult again, Victoria?" So it's obviously not the first time. The then repeating what I said in condescending tone mocking me and kept repeating she's over it and is doing her job. I told her customer service is her job.
This checker should NOT be the face of your company. I went to phone the manager later and the phone number on the receipt is missing a number so nobody can call him. His name is Joey Skaggs.
I fully intend to reach out on social media of my experience. I want a full refund of $16.98 for enduring her psychological abuse and she should be removed from a any customer service position.

I am a retired Safeway, Vons, and Albertson employee for 32 years. Customer service was always number one. I was checking out and Austin was the cashier. I could not believe him. No greet, no smile and no thank you. I even said to him "Thank for the great customer service" He just smirked. Is this how the company is run now? I get better customer service at the $1.25 Stores. That is sad. The store # is 738, in Lakeside, Ca. It was on Sunday, July 17 at 1:44. He needs to learn that if it wasn't for the customer, he wouldn't have a job. Thank you, Irene Roos
