I had a new tire put on yesterday at the Beloit, WI location. When I looked at the tire last night, I noticed that it was not the tire that I requested. I called into the store today and was told that someone would look into it and call me back. In 5 hours, I still hadn't heard from anyone, so I called back. I was told that the manager had gone home sick, and no one else could help me. I said that I would like a call back no later than tomorrow and was then told that the manager would not be in until Thursday. So, this manager just left the store with a customer to call back and was going to leave me hanging until Thursday? It is only Tuesday. This did not make me happy, and I expressed that. Within moments, someone (not the manager) called me back and said that they would resolve the issue for me. I was asked what tire I had requested. I was then told that the tire would be ordered, and I would simply have to pay for the mounting and balancing. I then stated that I would not be paying for anything, as I did not put the wrong tire on my vehicle. I requested a Michelin Primacy Tour A/S 235/55R/18. I received a Michelin Premier 235/65R/18. One of your employees actually went out to the vehicle and looked at my current tires before anything was started. This was the person I was speaking with when I called in the second time, and he admitted to that. To say that my experience was less than satisfactory would be an understatement. There was no air conditioning in the building. It was very hot and very uncomfortable. The TV was so loud that I could barely think. All of the employees were in the back for quite some time. So long that a customer came in and left, and no one but me even noticed him. One of the employees (female, and possibly the manager) had a friend inside the business. They were speaking very loudly to each other. Just very unprofessional. This store location needs some attention to say the very least. I did not want to send this to the store directly, as it appears that the manager is part of the problem.
