I have bought 5 sets of tires from the macon ga store. I have taken my truck up there for the 3rd time with an appointment waited over 3 hours each time told them I had a doctor's appointment at 1 got there at 8am at 12:15 I got tired of waiting so I will not be giving them any more of my business I will re pay another company to rotate and balance my tires on all of my vehicles it seems once you buy the tires they put you on the back burner to do any service work so I am done with this company.
Bait and switch tire scam
Came in on a donut because I had a flat tire, which was purchased new at Mavis less than one month ago. The tire was under warranty so I was told the flat would be fixed free of charge. When I showed up to get my car, the guys at Mavis had done a bunch of other "work" on my car that I didn't ask for or authorize, claiming that all 4 tires had leaks that needed to be fixed and all of this other nonsense… and then they held my car hostage and wouldn't return it until i paid their BS fraudulent bill. Mavis is a professional scam artist, bait and switch operations. Damn crooks should be in jail! I am filling a complaint with the BBB.
New tires SCRATCHED AND RUINED ALL 4 OF MY RIMS
I went in this morning 10/07/2021 for my 8 AM appointment for Tires, Alignment, oil change and New Wipers I paid $646.56. When I left the alignment was off I had to go back they had to fix it I left again. I went to go get an inspection sticker noticed there was white stuff all over my rims which was tire paste I also noticed every one of my RIMS are SCRATCHED in the exact same spot of a circle the exact distance away from the rim From the Tire machine it was not there yesterday as I hand washed my car on 10/06/2021 I had to go back the person I dealt with was very rude because it was the same person I dealt with at my appointment the same person I had to deal with going back a second time for the alignment issue and a third time I was there from 8 AM till 12:10 PM I was back there again by 12:20pm I waited for them to fix the alignment issue that I paid for 30 minutes after that I was back there again with a complaint about the rims! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE I HAVE USED NTB IN THE PAST AND NEVER HAD A ISSUE! For me to have to go back 3 Times within a hour with different issues is HORRIBLE AND Now I am being told that I'm going to have to drop off my car for the day so that they can call same company that they " always" use in these situations and be inconvenienced even more! This is totally unacceptable damage to rims like this should not even be an issue this companies pacifically deals with tires on a daily basis I would expect this from Walmart across the street but not from the shop that I've used before and never had a problem!

My Husband (cell: [protected]) went to change oil and fix brakes for his 2017 Audio A4.. The mechanics over there have NO experience with these types of cars.. They overfilled the oil tanks and started leaking. They called my husband and told him that the car is not working for a reason they have no clue about. My husband went to the store to see what was going on, he could not find the car at this location because they had decided (WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION) to tow the car to a mechanic that we do not know to fix it for us on our expenses. They were trying to cover their mistake. My husband was very very disappointment by towing his car without his permission. He had to rent a car and went to the other shop where his Audio was located and when he went there the car was opened in the middle of the shop and working on it and told him that the car needs to be fixed and it was leaking and the oil tank was overfilled because whoever was changing the oil does not know what he was doing. My husband asked to take the car to his dealer and he said they should take care of fixing the car at the Audi Dealer in Marietta. My husband opened a claim with Mavis Head Quarter. The technician at Mavis said that they will take care of the rental cost and fix the car to make it workable and clean the oil tank. We have not gotten a penny from what they said. Thank you! Poor customer services
Not too long ago i took my car for maintenance, need to replaced brakes and some other work i had to take care of. The services and comments i got from mechanic were really uncalled for but i let it pass. (first time dealing with this mechanic.
I still went for services today because Mavis prices are convenient.
My appointment was for 1pm left my car for brakes change and issue i had with muffler. I had to call at 5:58pm to get an update (Location closes at 6pm) I was concerned. Get to Mavis to find out that they did not perform any work and they are telling me Mechanic lost somebody and he has to leave. I am so sorry for mechanic lost but what was supposed to do in this case? ///// Simply call me and give an update, i have to work tomorrow and what would happen if i did not call>>>?
Train people to better provide customer services this is totally unacceptable

Unethical Behavior
This complaint is related to Mavis shop at 5444 Little Road, New Port Richey, FL 34655. My Daughter placed an order online (order # 37571) to replace rear tires on 2014 Passat SE on 9/27/2021. While at the shop they offered to perform an Alignment and my Daughter informed them we had an Alignment performed about a month ago, but she said they could check.
So after the install of rear tires, which did not match what was originally placed in the order (#37571). They informed my Daughter based on their Alignment check the "Alignment is way off", actual quote from finalized invoice/receipt received. They also said they normally charge $75 for Alignment, but we can do it for $50.
We took the car back to the shop (on 9/29) where the alignment was performed about a month ago (August 2021), and based on their Alignment check there was nothing wrong with the Alignment.
I feel like this shop (where we have purchased tires before) tried to take advantage of my Daughter by offering a service that was not necessary and would probably not even occur, not to mention the fact they put on tires that did not match was ordered.

Repairs for my car
I took my car in to get four new tires, oilchange, new breaks, struttes. Getting work done on it and getting it ready for winter. The shop was informed, what ever needs to be done on it fix. But definaly call me before fixing anything call and let me no. The only thing i felt was wrong with the car, the sterning wheel will vibrate if i go over 50 mph. Please take a look at that as well. They hd the car for a few days. Was told to come pick up the car, the only thing ive noticed the wheel was still vibrating. A few after having the car it broke down on the expressway, it just cut off and wouldnt turn back on, got it towed back to mavis. I told the the wheel is still vibrating, which in my opionon they didnt balanced my brand new tires, when they put them back on . So once they finally balanced my tires, one of the machanics took it for a test drive said the check engine light is now on. Which it was not on when i turned the car in every since i had the truck my check engine light was never on. They imformed me there is nothing the can do to fix my truck they think it maybe the engine, for me to take it to ammco transmission on sheridan another big mistake. I took the truck for another opionon on whats wrong with my truck. When the oil change was done mavis put way to much oil in my truck and it messed up the whole engine. I want a new engine put in the truck and not to have to pay for labor. Or i paid $1600 to gey the truck fixed to now not having a truck at all. Its so not fair .

My wife had ordered tires and they were shipped to Mavis in Austell on east west connector she was told to be here at 12:00we were at 11:30 we waited 4 hour for tires to be in stalled on her car no body know anything about what they are doing .this is not right for us to wait thing long for this service I will NOT be coming back to this store and I will not be recommending the place to anyone .I'm am very displeased with the service.on a scale from 1 to 10 I give a 1.very dissatisfied.
False advertising complaint/Bad customer service from store manager.
Hello my name is Phineas Johnson. I made a appointment with Mavis tires in Columbus Georgia on Auburn Avenue for 8 o'clock today (September 18.) When I made the appointment I asked for a quote for a oil change on a 2014 Fiat 500 L. I was told by an employee for Mavis that the price would be $39.99. I told the employee that I had a discount coupon for $10 off which made the service $29.99. When I arrived this morning for the appointment I was told that the information I received was incorrect. And I was question where did I receive the information for the price for the service. I explain to the store manager that one of the Mavis employees quoted it to me over the phone. And he rudely responded to me by saying I didn't speak to him or anyone at that store so he couldn't confirm it. But the employee that took my keys for the service this morning showed me a Receipt that it was in the computer for my car model and year and the price for 29.99. The store manager then told me he would not be able to do the oil change and tire rotation for 2999 it will cost me $125 and it will take another hour and a half after waiting two hours from having an appointment. The store manager did not try to compensate for the mishap and he didn't seem concerned about my issue with the miss information that was communicated to me from Mavis tire. I have spent hundreds of dollars with Mavis on my cars and I thought that the way it was handled was unprofessional and it was false advertisement. I will no longer have my vehicle service at your company. We bought four brand new tires one year ago and found a nail in one tire. We went to Mavis and they responded that we would be paying 71% of the full price of the tire. 2 1/2 hours later the tire was installed. The people are incredibly rude, unprofessional, slow and not willing to help in anyway. We asked if there was a discount on the tire and they said no.
Since we had such a bad experience the first time when we bought the tires a year ago, we are very skeptical about the installation and safety of this tire. The first time was the worst experience I've ever had at a tire store. They not only ordered the wrong tires and installed them but after we realize there was a horrible noise coming out of the car, we brought it back to find out they put the wrong tires on which caused damage. Here we are again and I'm worried that there's going to be issues. The only reason we went back was because there was a warranty.

Was there for 4 1/2 hours with my car sitting in the same place only to have someone who came a hour after have their vehicle pull to the back. The service guy didn't care when I spoke with him. Attached is 2 receipts. The first is where I paid for lifetime balance on tires I purchased. When I returned for balance I was told my wheels were bent and the tires could not be balanced. The second is where I took the tires to another tire shop and watched them balance the tires. NO wheels were bent. Less than 5 Oz. of weight was added/ tire.

Brake pads & rotors
Sept 3, 2021, Worst experience. Waited 4 hours for brake pad/rotor installation. Car finally delivered but with clicking noise in brakes. Back to the lift "to fix a bent tab." Second delivery and parking brake would not hold. Back to the lift where Tech using a long bar for some sort of adjustment. A simple job like this taking 4 hours makes me think Tech was incompetent or needs to go back to Brakes 10l. Called your Customer Svc to go through long menu of contacts and finally got a person who told me Regional Mgr would be in touch. Nothing. Was told I would get military discount. Nothing. I am now concerned work was done correctly.
Will have serious thoughts of dealing with Mavis for the future.

I bought tires online by Goodyear and installation in mavis of Lodi New Jersey on April 12 2021.
Today I left on the location upon mentioned one tire because it has leaking air from the tpms . So the front desk called Joe charge me almost 25 dollars for instal a rubber valve because my tpms was damage he said.
As a customer I found totally expensive and unprofessional charge this amount for a rubber valve . I'm former of Firestone and I never seen charge a customer for replace a simple rubber valve when the tpms is damage and customer refuse to buy a tpms sensor .

On 8/4/21 into the Mavis store spoke with Jay told him I was interested in purchasing tires he said he was busy I left the store. I was making phone calls and other arrangements in the parking lot Jay came outside and then stated he can help me. I then showed him my 17" rims and asked him if the rims would fit my 2011 Jeep Liberty he opened my car door looked at the numbers and said yes of course. I repeated to him several times if he was sure if not I would not purchase tires. When they went to place the tires on my car he stated the tires did not fit. I needed a spacer or an adapter to place on my wheel and they did not sell at Mavis.. Jay then took my phone searched on Amazon for a wheel spacer which cost me an extra $98.00. The spacer came the following day so I went to the store and Casey stated that the piece Jay told me to purchase was the wrong piece and that it wouldn't pass inspection anyway. So at this point I told Casey I wanted a refund he said no problem however it was pass 5pm and he couldn't process refunds and I should come back the following day. I called the manager Dave to make him aware of my situation and he told me I can't get a refund. So not only did they sell me tires that don't fit my vehicle they don't even know what piece I need to purchase and the piece Jay told me to purchase wouldn't even have passes inspection which blows my mind because they do inspections at this location everyday. Dave was supposed to call me back and never did and now I'm stuck with tires that I can't use. Everyone was very rude and unprofessional and at this point I will make sure everyone I know will never go to Mavis tires ever again.
