I purchased my 2007 Elantra in 2008 because of the warranty forever provided. In 2009 I was hearing a bad vibration noise coming from the back. I had bought some tires from another source and I had taken my car back to them initially because of the noise. They were ready to give me brand new pair of tires but then they figured out that the noise was coming from the other set of tires that were on the vehicle when I bought the car. The other source told me that the noise was coming from the one-directional tires because they were rotated wrong. So I took my car back to Amato because I had them rotate my tires and tried to address the problem. The service manager Kevin was rude and told me he could do nothing for me because there was nothing wrong with the tires. I drive the car 1-1/2 hr each day coming and going to work and the noise was so loud it bothered my ears. So ended up having to buy new pair of tires.
The summer of 2010 I noticed the paint on my hood was starting to crack. By the end of summer 2011 the paint had shrivel up really bad. The size of the defective paint job was over a foot in diameter. When I purchased my car I had a CARFAX done on the vehicle and the CARFAX report stated that the vehicle was not in a accident. So I contacted Amato Sales Manager to address the problem. Which now he passed me off to the Service Manager. Again, Kevin the Service Manager told my husband that there was nothing they could do and quoted us over $900 to repair the hood. Amato could of at least given me a new paint job at their cost but again STICK IT TO ME. They already have their money! I work for a large Distributor and will pass my experience on to others and tell them not to buy from Amato Hyanda!
