I am writing in respect an item I ordered on Vinted - a watch.
Let me take you through what's happened.
1) within a day of my order I got a message through the app that there was a problem with my delivery and the item was being sent back to the seller
2) I contacted the seller who confirmed he had received it back
3) I had a chat dialogue with one of the Vinted mupper support agents (which is no longer in my Vinted inbox as they have conveniently deleted it) confirming that I needed to click 'resolve issue' and afterwards 'select refund'
4) I clicked 'resolve issue' which then presented me with a message saying that this would release the funds and was not reversible
5) before doing this I checked back in with the muppet agent in step 3) who said this was normal and to carry on click 'resolve issue'
6) I did I was advised only to have the next screen indeed tell me that the funds had been released
7) Vinted now tell me there's nothing they can do - as if all of this data is not on their platform!
Honestly anyone with half a brain cell can work this out - I never got the item, I don't know if a courier problem or a scam or whatever - yet I have paid over £500 and Vinted themselves confirmed I never received it!
Pretty sure the seller was a scammer and 100% sure Vinted supports scammers in their site... They should be shut down
