Disappointing Experience with Virgin Mobile: Delayed Activation and Passport Update Issues
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Virgin Mobile. I mean, I forked over 100 dirams for a sim card at the airport, and it took them a whopping 27 days to activate it. Can you believe that? And the whole time, they kept telling me there was some issue with my passport update. Like, what the heck?
So I tried to update my passport documents, but when I looked at the map on the app, all the centers that were supposed to be able to do it said they didn't have the authority. What kind of nonsense is that?
Eventually, they offered me some compensation, but of course, there was a catch. In order to receive it, I had to activate a 79 diram package. And wouldn't you know it, as soon as I did that, they blocked my sim again, saying that my documents needed to be updated. And this time, they said it had been 30 days, so I had to go through the whole process again.
Honestly, it feels like these guys are running some kind of coordinated scam. I'm not sure what their deal is, but I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Good Prices, Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with Virgin Mobile
I gotta say, the prices on Virgin Mobile are pretty good. But when it comes to getting help from customer service, it's a whole different story. Let me tell you, I've had some real struggles trying to upgrade my phone. The reps on the phone will straight up lie to you about how long it's gonna take. And if you try to return a phone for a different model, you might as well pack a lunch and settle in for the long haul. They don't seem to care about your time or your sanity, and good luck trying to talk to a supervisor. And don't even get me started on the staff at the store locations. They're about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine. Honestly, I'd say steer clear of Virgin Mobile if you can.
Disappointing Customer Service and Misleading Information from Virgin Mobile
I gotta say, I'm not too happy with Virgin Mobile. I was looking for a new mobile plan and decided to give them a try. I ordered a SIM card and was told it would arrive in 2-3 days. But when it didn't show up, I reached out to customer service and was told it would actually take 2-3 weeks. That's a pretty big difference, if you ask me.
So I decided to cancel everything and go with another provider. I asked for an email confirmation of the cancellation, but was told they don't do that. Instead, I was promised a notification of some kind.
But then, after I had already moved on to another provider, I got an email saying my SIM card had shipped. I called customer service and was told that they had never actually cancelled my order. And now, apparently, I can't cancel it at all.
Honestly, the customer service has been pretty disappointing. They won't even talk to me over chat, and when I do get through to someone, they just brush me off. It's frustrating to say the least.
Overall, I regret going with Virgin Mobile. The whole experience has been a headache, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Virgin Mobile Review: Overpriced Data Plans and Poor Customer Service
This company, Virgin Mobile, is a real joke. I mean, seriously, who charges $75 for just 6 additional GB on your data plan? And if you go over that limit, you're looking at a whopping $600 bill! That's just ridiculous.
Now, normally they send out text messages to let you know when you're getting close to your limit, but in my case, the message went straight to my Spam folder and I never saw it. So, I ended up going over my limit without even realizing it.
When I called them up to try and work something out, they were less than helpful. I suggested a payment plan where I could pay back the $600 over the course of 3 months, but they basically told me I had 16 days to come up with the money or they were going to shut off my account.
I mean, come on, it was only 2 weeks before Christmas! Talk about being heartless.
If you're looking for a better deal, I suggest going with Rogers. They offer unlimited GB plans and you'll never have to worry about going over your limit and getting hit with ridiculous fees. Plus, you won't have to deal with a company that seems to enjoy ripping you off every chance they get.
Overall, I would not recommend Virgin Mobile to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go with a company that actually cares about their customers.
Terrible Experience with Virgin Mobile: False Promises and Unwanted TV Plan
I gotta say, my experience with Virgin Mobile was pretty darn terrible. I got a call from them offering me a sweet deal - a 100 Mbps plan with a 50% discount for a whole year. I was like, heck yeah, sign me up! But then for the next two months, they charged me the full price. What the heck, man? So I called up customer support and they helped me fix it, but it took forever. While I was waiting on hold, some dude was blabbering on about their TV plans, but I didn't really care since I don't watch much TV.
Finally, after like an hour on the phone, they fixed my account and applied the discount. But then I got an email saying my plan had been updated and I was now subscribed to a TV plan for $35 a month. What?! I never asked for that! Now I gotta spend another half hour on the phone trying to cancel something I never even wanted in the first place.
Honestly, this is the worst product experience I've ever had. It's just ridiculous. I mean, sure, they eventually fixed the discount thing, but then they went and added something to my account without my permission. Not cool, Virgin Mobile. Not cool at all.
Unprofessional Customer Service and Broken Promises: My Experience with Virgin Mobile
Been with Virgin Mobile for a while now, and never really had any major issues until today. I had to contact their customer service, and let me tell you, their "manager" was a real piece of work. I was completely turned off by their unprofessionalism, and it's really made me reconsider using Virgin Mobile's services in the future.
To make matters worse, they didn't even honour the deal that was made with customer service, and backtracked on their guarantee. I mean, what kind of company does that? It's just not right.
On top of all that, their prices are pretty steep compared to their competitors. I don't think the difference in price is worth the subpar service that they provide. It's just not worth it.
Their Customer Loyalty branch is a complete joke. I mean, they're supposed to be there to keep customers loyal, but they do the complete opposite. I'm definitely going to be looking for a better provider.
Overall, I would not recommend Virgin Mobile to anyone. Their services are just not worth the money, and their customer service is terrible. If you're looking for a better provider, I would suggest going with Bell or Rogers. Trust me, you'll be much happier in the long run.
Virgin Mobile: Not Worth Your Loyalty - A Frustrated Customer's Review
I gotta say, Virgin Mobile ain't all it's cracked up to be. I've been with them for almost a decade now, and I gotta say, they don't seem to give a hoot about their loyal customers. I mean, just look at the photo I attached - it's clear as day that they're just another big ol' corporation trying to squeeze every penny out of us regular folks.
Now, I ain't no fool - I know that companies gotta make money. But what really grinds my gears is how they do it. For years, I've been dodging their constant phone upgrade offers, trying to keep my monthly bill as low as possible. But even though I haven't changed a thing, my bill has been creeping up and up, all because those greedy shareholders want their returns. And did I get an email or a phone call or anything to let me know? Nope. Nada. Zilch.
And then there's this whole price gouging mess we're in right now. I mean, I get it - times are tough. But when I saw that I was paying $63.50 for 9 GB of data, while they were offering 20 GB for $50, I nearly blew a gasket. It's like they're not even trying to hide the fact that they're ripping us off.
Honestly, it's just frustrating. I used to think that Virgin Mobile was different - that they actually cared about their customers. But now I see that they're just another big, bad corporation, parading around like they're some kind of virtuous entity. Ha. Don't make me laugh. I'm taking my business elsewhere, and I suggest you do the same.
Terrible Experience with Virgin Mobile: Broken Xbox, Miscommunication, and No Compensation
I gotta tell ya, folks, I had a real bad time with Virgin Mobile. I bought a bundle with a mobile phone and an Xbox Series S for my kids as Christmas gifts on December 15th, 2021. My son, who is autistic, was really looking forward to that Xbox. But when we opened it up on Christmas day, we found out that the HDMI port was damaged and it wasn't working at all. I called Virgin Media right away to try to get it sorted out.
But let me tell you, it was a real hassle. They told me to contact the manufacturer, Exertis, for an exchange. So I did, but they said they don't deal with exchanges and that Virgin is responsible for that. When I went back to Virgin, they said they would exchange it, but then they sent me a package with just a phone in it! I refused it and called them back, and they said there was a misunderstanding and they would send another package when the first one came back. But it's been two weeks and I haven't heard anything from their investigation team about compensation.
I called them today, February 15th, 2022, and they told me they can't exchange the Xbox, only the phone. And if I want to cancel the contract, I can. I was so upset, I didn't know whether to cry or scream. My son started hurting himself because he was so upset about not having that Xbox. And Virgin knew about it!
I'm telling you, folks, don't trust this company. This has been the worst experience I've ever had. And I'm not going to stop with just one bad review, either.
Virgin Mobile's Terrible Customer Service and Billing Practices: A Warning to Potential Customers
Virgin Mobile is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is terrible. I made the mistake of buying a phone online, even though the in-store salesperson pushed me to do so in order to get the activation fee waived. I ended up hating the new Google Pixel 7 and Pro phones and returned them by mail. Unfortunately, the warehouse lost one of the phones. I was originally told that it would take 3-8 business days to clear the issue and pick new phones, but it ended up taking over a month. To make matters worse, the company reviewed my partner's contract on a phone that was already paid off. We decided to switch to Telus, but if we hadn't called that day, we would have been refused due to the "new contract."
We were told multiple times over recorded calls that we would receive a credit of $1024.80, which even showed up on our account. We called to confirm at least five times, and everything seemed to be in order. However, we still ended up getting charged for phones we did not have the following month. I randomly checked my old Virgin account to see why the credit had not arrived after the 28 days they said it would. It turns out they had increased our bill to $1195.51. Since we are no longer Virgin customers, we received no notification of this change. This could have been sent to collections and ruined our credit. The representative still made us pay $100, even though we were supposed to be credited for the extra phone charges we didn't have and the credits we were supposed to get for the taxes we paid on the phone. They even threatened to send it to collections.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. We have made over 25 calls to them from February 2023 to the end of April 2023. All of these calls were due to their mistakes, and we received no compensation or proper explanation for losing the phone in the warehouse, why my partner got added to a new contract, why the $1000+ credit, which was confirmed five times, was not issued, and why it was added as a charge instead. On top of it all, they were going to charge a penalty fee for canceling a contract we did not authorize them to give. This company is absolute garbage.
Disappointing and Unacceptable Service from Virgin Mobile: A Customer's Experience
I'm writing this review about Virgin Mobile because I'm really upset with the service they've provided me. I signed up for their internet service in December 2021 and my plan was $35 a month. But in December 2022, my plan suddenly doubled without any explanation. I was moving at the time, so I contacted Virgin to cancel my services because it didn't make sense to pay double what I previously had paid. I explained that I was moving and would simply join a new service provider upon my move. They told me they would alter my plan and I could receive another year of a $35 plan. I confirmed multiple times that the price would stay the same, but when Virgin came to set up my internet at my new location, my bill was double the price.
I reached out to Virgin and they told me that whoever confirmed the $35 bill was wrong and they couldn't give me the price. I had to deal with extremely unresponsive customer service for weeks before I finally confirmed that I wanted to cancel my service. The agent I spoke to was extremely rude, and I requested the head office contact info and proceeded to email them to inform them of this ongoing issue. After an extended period of time, they finally got back to me and told me that I would receive the $35 bill and to send specific information pertaining to my account. But it's been weeks and I still haven't received a response.
Last week, I received an email stating that if I didn't pay my bill, my internet would be shut off and I would owe a new fee to get my internet started again. I forwarded this email to head office requesting a response as I was currently waiting for weeks from them, and still nothing. Today, while working from home, my internet has been cut off. This is so disappointing and unacceptable. I will be posting on as many social media platforms as possible to inform people of such negligence and disregard for customers from such a large company.
I'm really disappointed with Virgin Mobile's service and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Their customer service is extremely unresponsive and rude, and they don't seem to care about their customers at all. I hope they can improve their service in the future, but for now, I'll be looking for a new internet service provider.

I want to cancel my membership poor service
Disappointing Experience with Virgin Mobile: Long Wait Times, Unhelpful Customer Service, and High Fees
Virgin Mobile ain't the best, let me tell ya. I had to wait forever on the phone just to talk to someone, and when I finally did, they weren't much help. Plus, their fees are way too high for what you get. I tried to pause my account when I went on vacation, but they still made me pay even though I wasn't gonna use it. What a rip-off!
Disappointed with Virgin Mobile: Fraudulent Disconnection and Poor Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with Virgin Mobile. I have been a loyal customer for over a year, paying around 60 dollars a month for my phone service. However, recently I experienced a major issue with the company. My phone was disconnected without my consent, and I suspect that one of their employees committed fraud to do so.
This is a serious problem for me, as I am on contract with Virgin Mobile and my credit rating is on the line. I rely on my phone for work and personal communication, and this sudden disconnection has caused me a great deal of stress and inconvenience.
I have tried to contact Virgin Mobile customer service to resolve this issue, but have had no luck so far. It is frustrating to be treated so poorly by a company that I have been loyal to for so long.
Overall, I would not recommend Virgin Mobile to anyone. Their customer service is lacking, and their employees seem to be willing to commit fraud against their own customers. If you are looking for a reliable phone service provider, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Virgin Mobile Cancels 30 Day Roaming Plan - Outrageous $13/Day Charges Now!
So, I'm in the USA and I wanted to renew my 30 day roaming add on for $60 with Virgin Mobile. But guess what? They just cancelled that plan! Can you believe it? And now, if I want a roam plan, it's gonna cost me $13 a day! That's just ridiculous, man. I mean, what's going on with cell service in Canada these days? It's a total rip off, if you ask me. And you know what? I'm not the only one who thinks so. Shame on Virgin Mobile for doing this to their customers. And shame on the regulators for letting them get away with it. It's just not right.
Virgin Mobile Review: Poor Roaming Plan & Overpriced Fees
So, I'm in the US and I gotta say, Virgin Mobile ain't all that great. They don't have a decent roaming plan, which is a total bummer. I mean, come on, I gotta be able to use my phone when I'm out and about, right? So, I switched to using Wifi calling, which is where I can make calls over my house wifi network. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done. But get this, Virgin still charged me a whopping $489 in roaming fees, even though I wasn't even using their cellular network! What a ripoff, am I right? Needless to say, I'm ditching them as soon as I can.
Disappointed with Virgin Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S10 Activation Process
Man, I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Virgin Mobile. I mean, they're selling the Samsung Galaxy S10, which is a pretty sweet phone, but they can't even activate it properly. What the heck, man? I spent a whole grand on this thing, and now I can't even use it. It's a total waste of money.
I've been with Virgin Mobile for over a decade now, and I gotta say, I expected better from them. They should be able to handle something as simple as activating a phone. It's not like it's rocket science or anything.
Honestly, I think they need to step up their game. They've been around for a long time, and they should know how to do this stuff by now. It's not like they're some new startup or anything.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with Virgin Mobile. They need to get their act together and start providing better service to their customers. If they don't, I might have to start looking for a new provider.
Virgin Mobile Canada's Unfair Data Charges: A Frustrating Experience
So, my daughter is in grade 9 and she got her phone bill this month and it was a whopping $586! She has a cell plan with Virgin Mobile Canada that has a 20G data limit plan. But, without any notice, she went over the limit and used 3.5G data more than her limit. And, guess what? Virgin Mobile Canada charged us over $551 for that! They charged us $15 for every 100 MB of data used over the limit. I mean, seriously? Is this how Virgin Mobile Canada runs their business? I was so angry that I didn't even want to give them a single star for their service.
Stay Away from Virgin Mobile: Terrible Service, Overcharging, and Poor Customer Service
I gotta say, Virgin Mobile is not the way to go. They keep taking more money from me every month, and I just keep paying it, hoping they won't do it again. But they always do. And then people call me, telling me my phone is off, when it's on all the time! It's ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, and I definitely wouldn't buy a phone from them. They always find some excuse to overcharge you, and their service is just terrible. And don't even get me started on their customer service. They have no idea what's going on half the time. Stay away from Virgin Mobile, folks. Trust me.
Warning: Poor Customer Service and Dishonest Practices with Virgin Mobile
Virgin Mobile is a carrier that's owned by Sprint and they do things in a way that's not very nice. Their customer service is located in the Philippines and they can be pretty mean to you. They might even hang up on you for no reason at all. If you try to get your money back from them, you're in for a tough time. They'll only give you credit on your Virgin Mobile account instead of giving you your money back on your debit or credit card. That's not very honest if you ask me. I would stay away from this company if I were you. It's just not worth the hassle. Be careful if you decide to use their services!
Mixed Review of Virgin Mobile: Good Service, Limited Phone Selection, Slow Data Speeds, Hidden Fees
I recently signed up for Virgin Mobile and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. The website is easy to navigate and I was able to choose a plan that fit my needs perfectly. The activation process was a bit confusing at first, but I was able to figure it out with the help of a customer service representative.
The service itself has been pretty reliable so far. I've had a few dropped calls and slow data speeds, but nothing too major. The coverage is decent and I haven't had any issues with connectivity.
One thing I do wish was better is the selection of phones. There aren't a ton of options to choose from, and some of the newer models aren't available yet. But overall, I'm happy with my experience with Virgin Mobile and would recommend it to others.
Update: After using Virgin Mobile for a few more months, I have to say I'm starting to get frustrated. The data speeds are consistently slow and I often have trouble connecting to the internet. I've tried contacting customer service, but haven't had much luck getting the issue resolved.
Additionally, I recently received a bill that was much higher than I was expecting. It turns out there were some hidden fees that weren't clearly explained when I signed up. I'm considering switching to a different provider at this point.
Overall, I think Virgin Mobile has some good things going for it, but there are definitely some areas that need improvement. If you're considering signing up, just be aware of the potential issues you may encounter.
Terrible Customer Service and Dropped Calls: My Experience with Virgin Mobile
Virgin Mobile is like the worst cell phone company ever. I mean, seriously, I've had so many problems with them it's not even funny. I spent like hours on the phone with their customer service people trying to explain how my calls kept getting dropped all the time. And then there was this whole thing with my out of country package not working, which was a total nightmare. And you know what? They didn't even bother to call me back like they said they would. Can you believe that?
So I called them again, and I had to explain the whole situation all over again. And what did they tell me? They said they were having problems with their cell phone towers and there was nothing they could do about it. Like, seriously? That's the best they could come up with? How about giving me a credit or something to make up for all the trouble they caused me? But no, they just told me to go to another company. Like, what kind of customer service is that? It's just terrible.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Virgin Mobile to anyone. They're just not worth the hassle. There are so many other cell phone companies out there that are way better. So do yourself a favor and stay away from Virgin Mobile. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
