Food Stamp Services
This location has been the absolute worst at communicating. I've been trying for over a week to contact them so I can set up the interview I missed. I've left voicemails, called multiple times, and even called the general number as well as my case worker. No one ever answers. I didn't receive the letter of when my interview was going to be until the day after. We are a household containing an elderly man and a 3 year old child. We are running out of options and this place could absolute care less.
Desired outcome: I want an apology, I want things to change, and I want people to answer their phone/call people back and act like they care.
Being denied food stamps and medicaid for self and children
My name is Ruth Love and my client ID is T23292301. I applied for assistance & was given an appointment for a phone interview on 10/23 and never received a call. I was able to get someone to send out another reschedule date but was never able to get through to set it up. A M. Thomas is on my paperwork but gave me the wrong number to call her. I finally...

My renewal for my food stamps was in May and it is a July almost August and still no answer. I went down there today and was talked to like crap once again. Ms Wilkerson came out and said who is francis? I said that's me she says what do you want I was doing your case as we speak and I just called you which was a lie. I asked her since she was finishing can I stay she said why I told you you can call in 24 hours. I asked the lady at the front desk for a number to complain and she asked me why and I was so dang frustrated I left. This Walton county office the workers are are very rude and nasty you say I need these food stamps and they say hell so do I. Very unprofessional Workers. They laugh at your situation they question you like you are fugitive. They rather see you starve and fail and they laugh about the fact that you need assistance and they won't help you in any kind a way. I felt like crying when ever I leave this office every time I go in there.
It was not resolved I was denied for complaining please delete this dang account please waste of time

my case manager and rep in front office
Apparently no one in the department can call anyone back or check there voicemails because the voicemail is full. My child's insurance has been cancelled since October and I'm tired of gathering up change to pay 150 copays when these people can take the time to answer the freaking phone. And when you go in there they are rude as hell. I'm tired of being transferred to every other phone number that is apparently the wrong number. I need a supervisor to call me at [protected]

Walton county defacs is a joke . I filed a report against someone who
Is a danger to her grandchildren using and selling drugs in their presence . Falling asleep with lit cigarettes in the bed with them and living in a motel room with 2 beds and hiding her son out in the same room who is a convinced felon on the run and the two
Of them strung out on pills . To this day defacs has done nothing .

They will destroy your family, your children, your relationship, and you personally. I am not going to say I am a saint by no means, but I didn't deserve what they have done to me nor my children. I have jumped through their hoop and did their song and dance for over 20 months now. I still do not have my children back in my custody. The judge does not go by the orders he puts in place either. They are terrible people. Walton county has a way of playing by their rules and making up their rules as they go along, which it totally against all state laws. I do not understand why nobody has exposed them yet. Its not like our county is ran on money, but it is ran by the good ol' boy system. More on what has been going on, I have a 9 month old baby and they refused to let me see her for almost 5 months. It sent me in a huge mental breakdown and depression, I could nearly get out of bed. I literally wanted to die, I tried to [censored] form being separated from my new born baby. I sent myself away for almost 2 months to one of the top rehabs in the state of ga. To deal and learn coping skills to deal with my everyday life. Yes I am an addict and anyone researches it is considered a disease by the mental health association, although I don't see them taking children away from people that have diabetes or cancer. I am treating my addiction and I do take my medications like I am supposed too. They even tried to count my medications the last time I went into the office to see if I was taking them. They are not pharmacist nor doctors so they can not do that. If anyone else is experiencing the same things please don't hesitate to comment! Thanks

very unprofessional and lazy people
This place has screwed all of their people over and over. If you look at their rating of 1.5 stars with reviews talking about how unproffesional and uncareful their employees are. People have had trouble with receiving phone calls and mail back from them. They don't pick up phones or call back. They don't help anyone with their benefits even if theyre poor or need help/assistance. One person had trouble getting food stamps. A woman complained because an employee was doing her nails instead of answering the phone. Another was taken away from dfcs when he was little and they put her in an abusive home which caused him to have ptsd and had to wear loose clothes because of how bad his scars and wounds were. Read these reviews and somebody get this place shut down. I have to apply for medicaid/insuraunce in order to recieve medicine and medical visits for my seizures. If i dont have my meds then i could have seizures that are life threatening. I live in a low income household.
corrupt government agency
Our entire Family Law System is corrupt and my family has been destroyed by this agency that is actually pretending to have every intention of helping to rebuild your family. They will come at you with nothing but false accusations and use everything you say against you in a court of law. My intent is to expose their true intent. Anything and everything you...

I received a notification a day after a phone interview was supposed to have taken place. That phone interview never happened and no message was left. I called the office immediately to reschedule but no one answered. I have called consistently but no one ever answers. The notice says I have a window in which to respond. The letter says If you fail to reschedule
your application will be dropped. If I didn't need the service I would not have applied in the first place. It feels as if they want you to become frustrated enough to drop out.

The Idiots who work at & supervise This Local DFACS/Adoption Dept., are rude, incompetent, and uncaring.. People Like; Danny Stevens, Mike Simmons, Ms. Hamiliton, and Roselyn Boyd, have been discouraging qualified prospecting parents from adopting neglected children, breaking their own policies, and often harrassing them (THESE ***ARDS SHOULD ALL BE FIRED!).. Forcing them to foster teenagers with extensive criminal records, and refusing to train applicants who want to adopt! IF YOU ARE UNINFORTUNATE TO LIVE IN THE AUGUSTA AREA, AVOID THIS GOVERNMENT AGENCY IF YOU CAN! If you seriously want to adopt try private agaencies instead... Here's some helpful info:
