Do not use at all is my advice. brought my car 6 months ago from a dealer who issued me with warrenty with this company. as most people you take the addition and walk off thinking you have piece of mind.

all was fine until my steering started making a funny noise, everytime you would move it there was a loud whining noise. a trip to a garage told me it was the steering pump and rack which was on its last leg and needed replacing. no problem i thought, warrenty on the car will sort out a little problem like this...

2 days later after contacting the company i got a call from the garage who said that the parts in question were not covered on the warrenty because they had not failed. after hours of phone calls and not getting anywhere and warranty wise not budging i shelled out £500 for the work to be done privetly, great.

so after that everything was fine until the gearbox started making a loud knocking noise one evening then finally died. again back to the garage and calls to warrenty wise. this will definately be covered i assumed, when i saw the bill for the work to be done i really started to pray.

few days had past then i got a phone call from the garage who said warrenty wise required the part to be removed from the car and sent off to a specialist to find out the route cause, which was fine...untilthe garage told me that warranty wise would not pay for diagnostic work. because the gearbox was a sealed unit it would have to be broken apart which i got quoted £800 for. after speaking to warranty wise for days on end about my unhappiness they basically said that if i could get the work done privetly for cheaper then that would be the best option because the likelyhood of them paying out was almost zero.

quentin wilson who co-owns this company, i really really hope you know whats going on.

As car dealers who have had personal experience with Warrantywise we would advise anyone thinking of using warantywise, think again. They will find any excuse they can not to pay out. Avoid them like the plague

Warranty Wise are a bunch of scam artists. They seem to pay out for cheap repairs but anything sizeable like my £1000+ repair and they decline. I had to get my van back on the road and I couldn't find any garages willing to do work for them because they got paid late and most of the time refused to pay completely. So I paid for my repairs upfront foolishly thinking that they would honour the policy I paid for. Big mistake. But be warned - it really isn't worth wasting your money with these fraudsters

Warrenty wise are scheming scam artists! Money hungry rouge company, out to steel hard working people's money, disgusting animals I hope you all go bankrupt and loose your houses

Going through hell with these cupid stunts, bought a car with warranty in may 2017, called them up in october about a leaking turbo return pipe, not covered, fine. out the car into get looked at at the end of feb regarding a rattly start up, contacted warrantywise about it, they sent out the forms and even said the fault might be covered by wear and tear as the car wasnt 10 years old yet. mechanic diagnosed premsture failure of the timing chain tensioner guide, ww asked for the service history tk be emailed over, before I could even do that, they rejected my claim because... the dealer has to pay for the repairs... wtf? spke ti the desker who was 180 miles away, said he stopped using them as they were harrassing him for sales.

So long story short ive paid for a 12 month warranty that I cannot use use due to situations that have f*k all to do with me!

After speaking with customer services and their manager, who said they simply administer the terms and conditions for the desler snd its up to the dealer to dealer to with it, I ended up talking to trading standards who are confident that there is a breach if contract somewhere, thats as far as I have gotten as im still waiting on an appeal decision from the head man himself.

Wish me luck and any advice is welcome!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? I am amazed at just the high quantity of bad reports I am reading and not just on this website but many other review sites too. I can’t believe that Quentin Willson still endorses the Warrantywise (WW) company name unless the financial gain is more attractive than his reputation. I am sorry, but I would not have any sympathy for anyone associated with this company if their reputation was irreversible damaged as a result of all complaints. There appears to be so many!
I too have an experience with a failed handbrake on my 4 year old Mercedes. I explained to WW that after nearly 3 months of owning the car the foot operated handbrake was locking on and that I had problems with releasing it. The local Mercedes dealer had already suggested it was the Brake Pedal Mechanism which had been a common problem. WW insisted that I pay for the diagnostics which I did at a cheaper garage as Mercedes garage charges were £168 so the £50 WW would pay (if at all) would not cover the repair bills.
The garage confirmed a new Pedal mechanism was required but WW refused to pay out because they said the warranty does not cover anything that is seized. So when they say they cover parts that are failed they appear to somehow forget to mention that there are many different failure modes which they can decide after the event which one they would like to cover. As an engineer working in the automotive, rail & aerospace industry I find this is unbelievable as my definition is anything that does not function correctly as per the original design intent is a failure. OEM’s would certainly class this as a failure mode and I am sure would do everything they could to prevent it. My other complaint is that as WW knew from the first time I spoke to them that the Pedal Mechanism was suspected of seizing why did they not warn me that it was not covered then?.
I feel really sorry for all the people that have paid out a lot of money to give them peace of mind and thought they were being sensible in protecting against the risk of their huge investment encountering a problem but then find out the warranty covers very little.
I was also interested in the information that was provided on the inside cover of the Warranty Book saying Auto Express gave them 4 stars. I would love to know what that was based on and how many stars is there in total that they can award (Does anyone know? 4 of 100 perhaps?) Also I would love to know where their figures of 95% positive feedback came from as from all the different reviews I have seen on various websites see there is a huge amount of unhappy customers out there who have taken the trouble to express their concerns & dissatisfaction with this company.
Oh, one last thing I found is that they don’t cover tyre pressure monitoring sensors. Mine started to leak about a week before the handbrake issue and apparently this isn’t covered either on my Platinum Warranty. That cost me another ~£100 to fix.
It would be interesting to know that if I called them up as a potential customer requesting a quote for the same Platinum cover and asking them if a seized brake pedal & tyre monitoring valve would be covered to see what they say. Has anyone else had any experience of doing this?
Anyway please accept my apologies if this has been a long review but if nothing else it has probably helped me to vent my annoyance and share my experience so others can make a decision whether to use this company or not. My recommendation is save they money you would pay them and put some money aside if you can each month to pay for unforeseen bills but only you can decide what risk you are prepared to take. I would certainly not recommend using this company.

Warrantywise is a scam company and they need to be looked into ,they are taken money from people and then not paying for the car to be repaired ,they took £1600 of me and then told me to pay the £1000 bill myself.Do not use scam company avoid at all cost .

Quentin Willson knows rxactly what's going on! He designed and wrote the policy terms so as they contradict each section to allow warrantywise every option to reject any claim for one reason or another.

This is a transcript of an email I have sent to Quentin Wilson. I hope you can sleep at night after the way you are conning people to pay for a useless product. The car dealer who sold me my car give me a warranty wise policy. This prevented any comebacks on him. I paid an additional £50 to cover added items which included air-conditioning. Four weeks after the policy began, I took my car to a garage and they diagnosed the condenser had a leak. I was initially happy that I had taken out extra cover for this. To my dismay, the claim was refused on the grounds of wear and tear. You were aware of the age of the vehicle (10 years) when you issued the policy. This means that the policy is useless, as any further claim would be met with the same response. In other words, you conned me into taking out a policy that would never pay out. I was initially taking out a small claim court order against you but due to my disability, I have refrained. Thank you for nothing.

They Call me with renew wich I could cancel up to 28 days I did cacel 3 days after by phone And they started charge me 109 a mounth its a joke !
