While purchasing another product I was offered a 2 week free trial of wellness watchers MD. I was told I would receive an email with all the information on how to access the site etc. I never heard or received anything from them until they took $59.00 from my bank account. After contacting them they sent me a paper to fill out for a refund stating that I should have received an email, a letter through the mail and several phone calls to see how I was doing with my free trial. I never received any of these things and now I am getting the run around with my refund.

AEC San Diego, clearly, your concerns were mishandled by a representative who needed to receive more training, and we apologize for this. If you would really like to resolve this please contact me directly at [protected]. I will handle your case with the same care I give to all our customers. I will be more than happy to resolve your issues and refund any amount you are owed.

Thanks,

Dear Sir/Madam.
Good Morning. My name is Siegfried Lopez and I have a complaint
regarding my order that I have purchased since Aug.1, 2009 and today
is Sept.1, 2009 and still I haven't received anything from your company.
My credit card was charged for the amount of USD 59.90.
According to Sylvia of Barton Publishing, I have to contact your company.
So can you please mail me to explain the delay of my order?

p.s Can you please send my tracking number?

Regards,

Siegfried Lopez.

You are an idiot!

I have seen these offers for Wellness Watchers. But, I have never signed up. They appear on the checkout pages for a website you have orders something from. I don't like scams any more than you do...and there are plenty of them out there. But, this appears to me to be "operator error" in your cases. From the looks of the ad and checkbox, I would imagine anyone who is not happy with the charges was trying to get something free, checked the box to get it and forgot to cancel after they signed up for the free item. Give it a rest. Call the number in the response from the customer service manager. I did just to test it and I got a live human being.

Jeez...when folks like you cry wolf on something that is obviously your own stupidity, it makes me wonder how much higher on the food chain we are than an amoeba.

SCAM! I personally cannot stand companies that employee such a business model. A model in where they 'latch on' to what may or may not be a legitimate site and/or purchase. I believe leeches such as this, must be stopped. With that said, I will be opening a case with the Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org/us/) and suggest all of you that were scammed by WellnessWatchers, to do the same.

I ordered a Flex Belt and this Wellness Watchers MD was included as a 14 day free trial. I called them and cancelled before the 14 days, however they still charged my card $59. I called them and they claimed they'd never had a call from me but after much discussion, they agreed to credit the $59. I just received this months bill for my credit card and they did refund the $59 charge they'd put on last month but now they've charged my card another $59. This is not only a scam but totally fraudulent. I even have an email this time from them saying that my account was cancelled. I have never logged into their site or used their site. I'm going to be contacting the State Attorney General's office and reporting their fraudulent activity. In addition I'm going to post as many messages as possible on the web about them. The sad thing is that the Flex Belt I ordered is a great product but because you have no way to opt out of this Welness crap being included when you order, I wouldn't recommend that anyone order this product because of this connection with Wellness WatchersMD!

My fraudulent charges stemmed from ordering an article from Barton Publishing. They then sold? my information to Wellness Watchers MD who billed my account each month under a different name. WELLWATCH MD, TrimDRC, WGTGenius, SLIMNSTR, FITMentor.
The whole incident screams of scam!

I had a pending charge of $19.65 today, 9/23/13. I did not recognize it and called them up. I have never heard of this company and have never been to their website. I asked Hazel when this subscription was initiated and she said 9/22/13. I even checked my Internet browsing history and I had not been to www.wellnessmanagermd.com. I do not know how they obtained my information, but besides my credit card information, they also had my address and e-mail. Hazel was very helpful though and canceled my subscription and gave me a full refund and confirmation number.

I noticed today that I had a charge of $19.65 to my account. I called the number on my statement & they cancelled my account, & said the money will be refunded. I have never even heard of Wellness Watchers, much less ordered their services.
I'll be watching my account closely for that refund & future charges. The only think I've ordered recently is a Fitbit bracelet & I don't remember agreeing to any subscription of any other service. If I don't have the funds credited back by the end of the week, I will be filing a complain with the Better Business Bureau. I know it's a small amount...but it's MINE.
This kind of business practice makes me SO angry...absolutely the lowest of the low!

I ordered a Flex Belt product on-line. The Wellness WatchersMD 14 day trial membership was included when I ordered the other product. I called within the 14 days and cancelled with Wellness WatchersMD however wen I got my credit card bill they had charged me $59. I called again and they claimed I'd never cancelled. Under threat of reporting them to the Attorney Generals office, they agreed to refund the $59 and even confirmed the cancellaiton with an email - this was March 1, 2010. I just got my credit card bill for this last month and they had refunded the $59 from last month but now they've charged me another $59. The fact that you cannot opt out of their free trial when you order something is not right to begin with but to continue charging a credit card even after they have acknowledged the cancellation in writing, is basically robbery. I have sent them another email and told them that they have 3 days to get a credit placed on my credit card or I am going to file the complaint with the Attorney General's office here in Arizona. I also told them that I will be finding every site possible on the web including letting the Flex Belt folks that my posting will be warning consumers that they should not order the product; that while the product is good, unless they want to have to deal with this company, they may want to rethink their purchase.

I returned the rubbish lip gloss and got my money back. They still tried to put a charge for shipping on my card today so I have cancelled my card.

Please call me at [protected] so I can take care of this for you right away. My name is Charity, and my hours are 10am-6pm Central Standard Time. Personally, I think that WellnessWatchersMD is a pretty good deal, or I wouldn’t work here. They send out thousands of $25 gift cards and $50 rebate checks every month. They also help hundreds of people with their Ask-the-Doctor service. If you were charged by mistake, I am authorized to give you a refund.

First I am tricked into a $50 lipgloss plumper that does ZERO! It says if I send in my rebate immediately, I will get all my money back BUT I must enroll in WellnessWatchersMD, which is a free trial period. I get the lipgloss, send in rebate, and have at least a month to try out WellnessWatchers MD. They are supposed to send you a welcome package... I NEVER received one... After not even a week of having the awful lipgloss...I get my bank statement... I have been charged a few small amounts from Wellness Watcher MD. I never got to even try them, because I received no user id or password! I emailed them, and still nothing! I was told I had 60 days to cancel Wellness Watchers MD before I was charged, and had 60 days to cancel before I was charged a penny. The only way to get the lipgloss rebate of $50 is to try Wellness Watchers MD WHICH I WAS NEVER ALLOWED INTO! Therefore I couldn't get the $50 rebate back. I'm stuck with a lipgloss the size of a baby's pinky, that I hate, AND I am being charged odd amounts from Wellness Watchers MD before the designated time frame! Due to identity theft, I put $ in this certain account only when I know something will be charged to me soon. This way there is nothing to take! Well each $2.99 they took from me, my bank charged me $33! I was not supposed to be charged a thing for at least another 7 weeks! and not $2.99. I emailed asking what this charge was for... they NEVER answered what they were for, but refunded one mere charge of $2.99. I paid over $150 for a lip gloss that isn't even as good as chap stick, and I was refunded $2.99. Never was sent the welcome email to validate lipgloss rebate (all I had to do was log on ONCE) They made sure that didn't happen... and they kept charging me for God knows what! THIS IS A RIP OFF SCAM! THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! THEY'RE SCREWING YOU! Thank God I received my bank statement or they would still be charging me small increments until my account was drained! Hoping it would go unnoticed!
