This company is the worst when it comes to scheduling and communication
This company is the worst when it comes to scheduling and communication. They keep you at home all day and never show up, and they don't even have the courtesy to give you a call. When you call, there's always an excuse. Bad business!
Terrible company!
Terrible company! Set up four appointments and didn’t show up or even call on all four! Can’t believe these people stay in business. Please if you have any other choicechoose a different plumbing company it will save you time and a huge headache.

DO NOT USE!
DO NOT USE! I contracted Wiese through the 2-10 Home warranty. They charged me $85 on 3/1 for an hour of service, but no work was done. The company's front office doesn't return calls and makes excuses for missed appointments. The service manager promised three callbacks, but I never received any. It's been 23 days, and they still haven't completed the work or returned my calls. I'm out $85 and extremely disappointed.
I would give this company a negative rating if I could!
I would give this company a negative rating if I could! The communication with the company is really bad and not professional at all. They make appointments and never show up or call! When you call to talk to the manager, he is always in a meeting and never calls you back. Don't let your warranty company assign this company to handle your claim, you will NOT be happy!
They put in a new water heater for me with my home warranty company
They put in a new water heater for me with my home warranty company. I read all the comments and reviews on here and was worried. The person in the office was great, The guys that came to put it in were great and the price was fair and explained to me. I would recommend completely. Not everything is covered under those home warranties...and a smart consumer should know this.
The service from Wiese Plumbing and Heating Co
The service from Wiese Plumbing and Heating Co. was the worst I've ever experienced. I used them through American Home Shield and they started a job on July 2 but refused to finish it. They claimed they couldn't find the part, but I easily found it online (Amazon) for immediate delivery. Wiese kept giving me the run-around for two weeks, saying they couldn't find the part. It's frustrating that something so simple and small had to turn out this way. I had to inform AHS not to use Wiese again.
These guys are terrible!
These guys are terrible! They got hired by my home warranty, AHS, to fix a leak in my tub faucet. It took them like 1.5 weeks to show up. They didn't even come on time, and they didn't fix ANYTHING! They charged me $180 to put in a valve that didn't even need to be put in. And then they never came back to fix the leak. I called them so many times, and the lady on the phone was so rude. She slammed the phone down when I told her what I thought about her and her company. Seriously, it doesn't take a whole month to fix a dripping faucet! Watch out, people!
Completely unprofesh
Completely unprofesh. First service appt didn't show up until over an hour after scheduled time frame. Didn't wear a mask (during peak COVID virus) and was super unprofesh in the language he used and "stories he told". I was told he'd call to schedule a follow up appt to replace the part. Never called and marked the job as completed. Called to schedule to have it fixed and had two diff appt no shows. At this point I've wasted over 10 hours of being available at home to have nothing done.
They were supposed to finally come and repair my heater and hot water issue, which I have been without for over a month
They were supposed to finally come and repair my heater and hot water issue, which I have been without for over a month. My appointment was set, but as I sit anxiously awaiting their arrival, I somehow didn't hear the call from them. So, after only 45 minutes into my 3-hour window, I noticed they had called and called them back right away. I was told I was passed over and no longer able to have my repairs done today. I stressed once again that I have no heat or hot water until these repairs are done and was told I still had to reschedule. I start a new job on Wednesday and I'm not able to sit home waiting for them, and they don't work on weekends. I guess I'll have to freeze and go without water now.
I would give them a zero, but it won't let me
I would give them a zero, but it won't let me. They installed a toilet on 04/03. The installer didn't know how to install a toilet. After setting the toilet three times and taking it off three times, my hardwood floor got soaked in water. I gave him towels to keep the floor dry. When he finished the job, he didn't show us his workmanship. The next morning (Saturday), my wife tested the toilet and realized that the drain pipe had broken loose from the main sewer line, causing a mess in the basement. I called Wiese plumbing, but they were closed. I had to call another plumber on an emergency basis to fix the broken pipe. Since we had no toilet to use without it landing on the basement floor, the second plumber fixed the pipe in the basement and checked the new toilet, which was also loose. He fixed the loose toilet, and of course, it cost me again. We have called Wiese Plumbing twice now, and they said they would call us back. I'm still waiting for a call. DO NOT USE THIS FLY BY NIGHT OUTFIT.
I'm really disappointed in the quality of their work
I'm really disappointed in the quality of their work. They didn't do a good job fixing our water heater's gas valve, which ended up causing a gas leak in our house. We had to hire a different plumber because Wiese's Plumbing doesn't work on weekends. The new plumber and a representative from *** both said that Wiese's technician didn't screw in the gas pipe properly, causing the gas leak. When we told the manager, ***, about the problem, he said some things that really bothered us: 1. My technician wouldn't make a mistake like that. Someone in your house must have messed with the gas valve. 2. You should have waited until Monday, then we would have come to fix it. It's not our responsibility anymore if you call someone else. 3. No, we won't give you a refund for what we charged you. It's your fault for calling another plumber. 4. The *** representative should have turned off the gas on your water heater. We won't ever use Wiese Plumbing again and we want to warn other families to be careful because they don't do good work, they're not professional, and they don't take responsibility for their mistakes.
This company is the worst, I'll never do business with them again!
This company is the worst, I'll never do business with them again! So, here's what happened: I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling, and Wiese plumbers came over. To my surprise, the plumber Terry used my half bath without telling me and ended up spraying feces all over my floor and toilet. His backside was also covered in it. I asked Terry what happened, and he tried to clean it up, but did a terrible job. I had to clean it myself because there was still feces everywhere. After a few minutes, Terry was just standing around in my kitchen, sweating all over the place. I asked him why he was just standing there, and he said his partner Ethan had to go to the shop to get more stuff. It took Ethan almost an hour to come back, even though the shop is less than 8 miles away. Terry also mentioned that he ate gas station hard boiled eggs that didn't sit well with him. Finally, they finished the job and left. I called to complain, but after 6 weeks and 6 more phone calls, no one returned my call, even after I spoke to the secretary and explained what happened. So, I decided to stop by and talk to Tim Wiese. Long story short, they didn't believe my story. The best part is that I have it all on camera thanks to my Ring device in the kitchen. If I could give them a zero rating, I would. I've never written a bad review before, but I guarantee you'll regret working with this company.
I'd give this review a 0/10 if I could
I'd give this review a 0/10 if I could. This contractor was assigned by my home warranty. As I'm writing this, it's been 7 weeks and the repairs still ain't done. I had to call the warranty company and ask for another contractor today after trying so many times to fix this (20+ calls to them). What was supposed to be a simple repair turned into a total nightmare. After the technician came to my house, they had to come back again to fix what they found. After a week of silence, I called them. They had no record of the tech even being here. They eventually replaced my shower faucet handle (with a lot of extra trouble), but they did it wrong. They also didn't make the second repair that was needed. Every time I called, I got a different story. At first, they said they would take care of it, then they said they were waiting for authorization and it's been weeks. Finally, they said the repair was closed and I had to submit a new claim because THEY messed up the handle installation and didn't fix the second issue from the original claim. I asked to speak to a manager (***), but they were never available and never called me back. I also asked to speak to the person in charge of authorizations, but they never called me back either. Finally, I told them I would start posting bad reviews if they didn't call me back, and they hung up on me. Today, I called to talk to "***" again, but as soon as I said my name, they hung up on me. It's absolutely disgraceful. *** and ***, who seem to be grown women, gave me the worst customer service I've ever had. It's ridiculous that there's no way to contact a manager (no email or voicemail, they said, and definitely no call backs). Oh, and when I tried to email them or contact them on Facebook, it got returned to me. Overall, this is a perfect example of how NOT to run a business.
This review is a real bummer, and let me tell you, it's totally deserved
This review is a real bummer, and let me tell you, it's totally deserved. Wiese Plumbing and Heating Co. is hands down the worst company I've ever come across. They're so disorganized and slow to respond to plumbing issues, it's ridiculous. I mean, they can't even schedule a service call on time or give straight answers. They send out unprepared staff and don't even finish the work that's approved by the warranty company. Seriously, if you're thinking about hiring them, find a better and more trustworthy company right away.
Right from the start, I should've known something was off when I didn't hear from Wiese Plumbing within 48 hours of my warranty call. When I finally called them, they had no clue what I was talking about. It's like they don't even care about the terms and conditions they agreed to with the warranty company. They probably just want to get work from the program and then do whatever they want. Their communication within the company is a mess too. I guess most of their business comes from warranty companies because no one in their right mind would choose them otherwise.
Here's the gist of it: They sent someone to submit stuff to the warranty company, claiming it was all covered. But then they only fixed some of the things they promised. They lie to both me and the warranty company about scheduling appointments. The people who came to my house seemed nice, but their poor communication ruined the customer service. At least I hope the workers were honest.
Let me break down the timeline for you. On May 22, I requested urgent drain service, but Wiese Plumbing didn't even bother to contact me until May 27th. They scheduled my appointment for May 29th, but when the employee arrived, they said they were only scoping the work. This contradicted what the representative told me earlier. They never gave me an estimate or a copy of the scope of work. It took them 20 days to finally schedule an appointment with the warranty company, which was on June 10th. But even then, the technician didn't know what work needed to be done. They only replaced the toilet wax rings, completely ignoring the approved scope of work. It's like they just wanted to finish quickly instead of doing the job right.
On June 17th, I had to request a recall work order because they didn't complete the original work. Wiese Plumbing confirmed the request but didn't contact me for a week. When I called them, they said they needed to speak with the service manager to figure out the details. After more back and forth, they finally told me to call the warranty company myself. It's clear that they don't want to finish the repairs they were paid for.
Honestly, Wiese Plumbing is a terrible, unreliable, and unethical company. They blame their communication problems on the customers and refuse to take responsibility. Luckily, the warranty company is allowing me to find another plumber to finish the job. I highly recommend doing your research and avoiding this company at all costs. It's hard to believe they're still in business with the way they operate.

Furnace not workin. They came out 12.*** and it needs a part and haven't been back. Called their number and let it ring ten times then their answerin machine picks up. Left multiple messages with no return calls.
They installed my hot water tank 2 years ago
They installed my hot water tank 2 years ago. It's still under warranty and needs to be replaced. They didn't show up to replace it. I have 2 toddlers, it's winter, and NO HOT WATER (day 8 now). They won't return my calls or emails. This is criminal!
We bought our house in March 2022
We bought our house in March 2022. In early April, we called Wiese Plumbing and Heating Co. to fix our furnace, which wasn't working right. After missing two appointments, they finally showed up on the third one and checked the furnace. They said we needed a new motherboard to fix it and that they would contact the home warranty company. After waiting for another two weeks, we reached out to them again, and they told us that the home warranty hadn't responded to them. We contacted the home warranty company, and they said Wiese Plumbing and Heating Co. hadn't submitted anything to them. We called Wiese Plumbing and Heating Co. again, and they said they would have someone submit it. But we still haven't heard back from them. We've been calling them every day, and they keep saying someone will contact us, but no one has. In May, it started getting hot, and we told the home warranty company that Wiese Plumbing and Heating Co. never fixed the furnace and the air conditioning wasn't working either. They said Wiese Plumbing and Heating Co. needs a chance to fix it, but we're not sure how much time they need. They still haven't responded about the air conditioning. We're both in our late 70s, and I think they're taking advantage of us because we're seniors. This has been going on since April, and today it was 89 degrees. We don't have a choice because of the temperature. We need someone to fix the air conditioning and furnace. I don't understand how Wiese Plumbing and Heating Co. has an A+ rating. I'm not sure how that's possible.

They replaced a hot water tank that broke, that they put in three years prior
They replaced a hot water tank that broke, that they put in three years prior. It had a six year warranty. They came out two days after I called them, but never called me back after the scheduling call with the cost that I would be charged for labor, even though I specifically asked for the call back. I assume there would be no charge since they didn’t call back. The guy who installed it left a receipt, with no charge at the bottom. The date of service was 7/29. I get a bill dated 8/6. $215 for labor, $250 fee. I called immediately, 8/10. I was fine with the labor charge of $215. I was not fine with a “fee” of $250. The girl who answered put me on hold to find out what the fee was for. When she came back, she had some ridiculous story about the tank had a different circumference of insulation inside. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told he was in a meeting. I left my number and was promised he would call me back before the end of the business day. He never called. When I called back the next day, 8/11, he was apparently in another meeting and I was told he’d call me back that day. He never called. I waited till 8/13 to call again. The guy was still in a meeting. I then informed the girl that if he didn’t return my call, I would begin the complaint process with the ComplaintsBoard.com and rate them on social media everywhere I could. I left for vacation on Saturday 8/15 and returned 8/23. I was hoping there would be a revised invoice in my accumulated mail. There was not. I am willing to pay for the labor $215. I refuse to pay for a fee they could not explain. I also asked for the new warranty on the new water tank, since the girl said it was different inside. Of course I have heard nothing about that either.
Wiese was chosen as a contractor by my home warranty 'cause my furnace was leaking
Wiese was chosen as a contractor by my home warranty 'cause my furnace was leaking. They were supposed to come on 1/26. I made sure to be there and the guy they sent came in, didn't wear a mask, and just talked about himself, which was mostly offensive. He quickly took out a broken filter from the humidifying thing and said that's what caused the leak. He said I'd get a call about getting a new one. I asked about the furnace and the condensation pump 'cause that's where the leak seemed to be coming from. He didn't say anything about those and left. When I got back from work, both my furnace and humidity pump were off and my house was 53 degrees. I turned the furnace on and called the company. They said they ordered the filter. I told them what happened and asked for a different technician. They said he's the only one they got. They promised a smaller window the next day (1/28). He came late, brought the filter downstairs, put it in, and said I gotta pay. Then he left real quick. I went back to work. When I got home that night, there was water all over the floor and around the furnace again. The duct work around the filter area was bent and not even attached anymore. It's actually worse than before. I called today (1/29) to talk to someone in charge and they said Tim's in meetings all day 'til after 11:30. I called again and asked for Tim, but they said I gotta talk to Jamie who "just stepped out." They said they'll leave a message. It's 20 degrees outside. They made my problem worse and didn't fix anything. They cashed my check yesterday for the service. Their technician didn't even look at the furnace or the condensation pump like I asked. I got pictures of the water and the duct damage from last night too.

After 2 months of tryin to schedule a AC unit tune up service I was forced to schedule a service for my AC since it starting makin noise and was only way to get company to come out. (Only contractor in area with my warranty) serviceman Don came out to my house on May 18. Checked a few wires. Did not want to look at unit inside house. Not interested much in sound or video that I had as a recording of noise it was makin. Told me that it needed a part. Could be hard to find because they don’t make my size AC unit anymore. Told me my report would be sent to warranty and copy to myself by May 20 at the latest. They still have not been sent the report. I have called over a dozen times. My warranty company was called 5-6 times at least and sent emails on two occasions. Warranty company asked for the service tech to call them. Never received that phone call. They finally talked to someone on June 3 and said the report would be sent to them by June 6 first thing in the morning. I talked to them that day as well and was told if part they believe would work is right would not be in until August at earliest. As of June 9 no report was sent. No calls returned. I drove to company who said they were having phone issues that day and all staff was not in office. Couldn’t provide any paperwork or even attempt to see if report was even ready. I asked that the owner or manager call me. Today is the next day and still have not heard from company who has been open for a few hours now. They have my number and could have called via cell phone if phones were down to update me. Very disappointed that after 3 weeks report still has not been sent to warranty so they can look or do research. It is disgusting how they treat customers. I am sure my message did not even get passed along all those times that I called and was able to reach a person. I paid a service fee to company that required them to send report which still has not been done and feel like disgusted on how they do business.
I had a service call on Feb 7th through my home warranty AHS!
I had a service call on Feb 7th through my home warranty AHS! They sent it to Wiese Plumbing and Heating in Norton Ohio. They contacted me and scheduled for the next day, thinking it was the gas valve based on my description. But it didn't work, so they rescheduled and the technician said it needed a thermal plate. However, they gave him a different part (the bulb) at the shop, and the technician told me it wouldn't fix the problem. It still wasn't fixed, so they scheduled another appointment with approval from the home warranty company for another part (the entire pilot assembly). We're waiting for approval and a new schedule. But it didn't fix the problem either, and now they say I need a new water heater (only 13 months old). So, we have another appointment! At this point, we had a vacation scheduled, and the plumbing company knew this from previous conversations. They scheduled it for Feb 28th, 2022. We returned very late the night before. On Feb 28th in the morning, Wiese Plumbing called to cancel the appointment again! They rescheduled it for March 1st in the morning! Now, we're going to be without hot water for 23 days, with multiple appointments needed, cancelled, and rescheduled, all because the technician had personal issues! This company wouldn't send another technician, which is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. The Service Manager is never available or won't call. Apparently, they have many reviews mentioning this issue! My wife and I both work in customer service, and this is not how you should treat your customers! Wiese Plumbing and Heating also expects me to pay for the permit at the time of installation. I think they should pay for it, at the very least, and compensate for the hardship this has caused! Not having hot water for 23 days is also causing extra use of my Electric Stove, as I have to boil hot water for at least 2 showers and daily dishwashing. Please help ComplaintsBoard.com. I'm looking forward to speaking with you!
I had Wiese come out to replace a hot water tank
I had Wiese come out to replace a hot water tank. They were assigned through my home warranty to do the work. The company came out and did the initial inspection, which went well. During the inspection, they mentioned that the gas valve was not up to code and recommended changing the water valves as they were old wheel valves. After the home warranty approved the hot water tank, they informed me that there would be an additional out-of-pocket charge of $50 for the valves and other miscellaneous work that Wiese Plumbing recommended.
Wiese came out on Friday, July 17th, to install the new hot water tank. During the installation, the plumbers got the hot water tank stuck in the doorway, scratching up the drywall. After the company left, I noticed that none of the valves were changed and the gas line was at a severe angle instead of being straight up and down. Then, on Monday, July 20th, I went downstairs and noticed water on the floor from the hot water tank. After further investigation, I realized that the plumbers had bent the copper pipe on the hot water side to make it fit onto the new water tank. In the process of bending the pipe, they stressed the joint where the pipe and valve meet, causing a pinhole leak to develop.
I called Wiese Plumbing on July 20th to inform them that they needed to come fix what they messed up. The company has since been hiding behind the home warranty company and refusing to come fix the problem. They are also refusing to refund or do the work that I paid the $50 to have done. In my opinion, this is straight up theft. My opinion of this company is that they clearly don't care about the customers they serve and are run by a lying thief who only cares about stealing money from his customers and hiding behind home warranty companies to justify and continue his theft of people. He should be in prison for fraud. To top it all off, the company did not pull the required permits from the city to do the work, and the work was not completed to the current code. Just truly shoddy work!
I called this company to check a clogged drain
I called this company to check a clogged drain. They came on 5/1 and found a leaking sewer pipe in my crawl space. The plumber spent a good amount of time removing water from the crawl space and tried to snake the drain, but said the tree roots made it difficult. He couldn't fix the cracked pipe. On 5/4, I called to schedule an appointment for the repair. They said they would come on 5/5. However, they called to reschedule on 5/5, wanting to come on 5/8. I argued and asked them to come earlier since I had limited water usage. They agreed to come on 5/7. On 5/7, they spent most of their scheduled time in their car in my driveway. They cut the sewer pipe from my toilet to the main sewer stack and the drain pipe from my sink. They said they would contact me with an estimate to fix the outside drain pipes because the current pipes were clogged with tree roots. They billed me $1008.75, even though the plumbers spent most of their time in their car. On 5/8, I called to ask for an estimate and discuss the bill. They said they would send someone on Monday for an estimate. I questioned why I couldn't get one earlier since they had three people out on 5/7. I also mentioned wanting to discuss the previous day's bill. They said they would contact me. On 5/8, I called a few other plumbers for estimates. Another company discovered that Wiese Plumbing had cut the sewer pipe and kitchen drain pipe and left them exposed. They didn't mention any potential hazards when they left, leaving my sewer pipe exposed to the entire sewer network and venting into my crawl space. Because of this, a simple job turned into a major one as now all my inside and outside drain pipes need to be replaced. So I was charged $1k for an incomplete job and exposed to sewer gases and possible overflow. I didn't receive any further communication from Wiese Plumbing until 11:50 this morning. They knew they cut the pipe and let it go, allowing me to flush my toilet into my crawl space and be exposed to methane gas from the sewer.
