Wing Service Review: A1+ Customer Support and Next-Level Internet Speeds!
This Wing service is the bomb! I mean, it's A1+! The chat is so easy to use, it's like a walk in the park. And the Internet speed is on another level, like seriously, it's next level! I've been saving so much money since I started using Wing, it's crazy! I mean, who doesn't want to save some extra cash, right? I highly recommend you try it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed!
Mixed Bag: Good Service, Poor Carrier Policy & Communication
Service is pretty good, I gotta say. The folks you chat with are alright, nothing too special. But let me tell you, their policy is the absolute pits when it comes to cell phone carriers. Trying to get through to them is like pulling teeth, it's that bad. You'll be feeling pretty sick after trying to communicate with them, that's for sure.
Wing: A Total Disaster - Slow Data, Unauthorized Plan Changes, and Terrible Customer Service
Wing is a total disaster! I was so excited to switch to them, but boy was I wrong. My data speed was slower than a snail, it was even worse than my old carrier. And to make matters worse, they changed my plan without my permission and then cut off my service because I didn't pay for the upgrade that I never even asked for! Can you believe that?
But wait, there's more! I was on autopay, but I still received emails saying that I was late on my payments and that my service was going to be shut off. I mean, what's the point of autopay if they're still going to harass you about payments? It's ridiculous!
I finally had enough and cancelled my plan, but guess what? They refused to refund me for the following billing period that I had already paid for. Can you believe the nerve of these people?
I had to dispute the charge and thankfully, it was refunded. But then they went ahead and rebilled me! I mean, come on!
If you're looking for a reliable carrier, do yourself a favor and go to Spectrum. They only charge 45 bucks a month and they have better service and customer service. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Stay Away from WING Phone SERVICE: Frustrating Experience with Cancellation and Payment
So, I had a bit of a situation with WING Phone SERVICE (Phone Carrier) and let me tell you, it was not a good experience. I was with WING for a while and at first, they seemed great. Whenever I called, they were always willing to help me out as long as I stayed a loyal customer. However, I soon found out that I could get the same or even better service with another company for half the price. So, I decided to switch carriers and called WING to cancel my service with them. They gave me all the codes and numbers I needed to switch my phone to the new company and keep my same phone number. But, when I tried to use the codes and numbers, they didn't work. The new company tried and tried but couldn't get it to work. So, I had to get a new phone number and switch to the new company.
Fast forward to over a month later and I receive an email from WING thanking me for my recent payment. I was confused because I had cancelled my service with them and had not made any recent payments. But, when I checked my bank account, there was a charge for almost $90.00 from WING. I called them up and explained the situation, but they told me that I was still an active customer and that they couldn't refund the payment because they are a pre-paid phone service. They said that because I used the term "Port Out" instead of "Cancel," I still had to pay the payment. Even though I hadn't used the number at all, they still charged me for the month ahead, which wasn't even ahead because it was still March 2020.
I spoke to the manager and he said the same thing, just in different words. It was frustrating because I knew I had cancelled my service with them and had not used the number at all. But, because of a simple wording mistake, I was out almost $90.00.
So, my advice to anyone considering WING Phone SERVICE is to stay away. While their prices may be a bit lower than some, it's not worth the headache and frustration if you ever need to cancel your service. They may seem great when you're a loyal customer, but as soon as you try to leave, they treat you like a spoiled brat. So, if you do decide to use WING, just make sure you use the correct wording when cancelling your service.
