Watch return
This company should be renamed World of Watchout. I ordered a watch online with a cost of $1535. When it arrived i was unhappy with the purchase and followed the company's return policy instructions. I sent it back to the return address they provided via USPS priority mail. The USPS tracking said it was delivered on Oct. 15, 2021 at 11:03am. I have receipt of that tracking. When I realized no refund had been issued I called customer service. The representative said they hadn't received the watch even though she checked the tracking # and it confirmed delivery. Instead of trying to help with the situation she became rude and belligerent, telling me it was not World of Watches problem and I should take it up with the USPS. When I reminded her that the tracking said "delivered" she told me they were located in a big building and the watch could have been delivered elsewhere. When I said I would contact Discover Card and make a claim, she scoffed and hung up on me. I have made two more attempts to get these people to accept some responsibility but they are non responsive. And so I filed a claim for the $1535 with Discover. Another tact they take is to advertise watches as "in stock" when they are not. This prevents the customer from purchasing from a competitor because it is already "on order" I only gave it one star because it won't allow for zero. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!
Desired outcome: My money refunded.
Beware!
I bought a watch from this site and it was over six months ago and I never received it because World of Watches cancelled my order. I had no idea about that because they never bothered to contact and tell me and the worst part was they did not answer when I tried to reach them. After all these months they finally decided to contact me. I'm absolutely disappointed! They said I'll get a refund but I really doubt. It took them half a year to tell my about my order status. Please buyer beware and do not order anything from this terrible website!
Customer Service
On wow tv, January 9, 2016, the program featured Citizen's Skyhawk Black Eagle watch, CIT-JY0005-50-W, for $429.99. Wiley, program's host suggested to Google it since their price is the lowest. I did Google it and found it sells for $349.99, Jomashop.com. I did notify them of Jomashop price, via Twitter. Although they replied they would match the price I have e-mailed them the information required but to avail since their mailbox is full! What kind of company lets her customer service mailbox for 2 days? Disappointed with World of Watches!

Sell out of stoke items
I bought a watch that was suppose to be a anniversary gift, so I was expecting it arrive in able time. I had to send to e-mails for WorldofWatches tell me that the item is not available. For me a store to sell an out of stoke item is unacceptable, for sure I wont buy from this store again and I will tell my friends and family about this bad experience. The watch was a Invicta/ INVICTA-0761 Men's Ocean Reef/Reserve Chronograph Blue Dial Two Tone. Now a wont be able to give the anniversary gift and I have to spend more time looking for another gift. I am very pissed with this store.
WorldofWatches.com advertises but does not stand behind "guarantees that our prices are the lowest you'll find anywhere online
WorldofWatches.com advertises everywhere that they "guarantees that our prices are the lowest you'll find anywhere online". which is FAR FROM THE TRUTH. This company does not have the lowest prices, and when you find a lower price elsewhere from a reputable web company/retailer such as Evine.com or many others...Worlofwatches comes up with all type of EXCUSES not reasons why they do not match the price... by saying such as "We reserve the right to match a watch at our discretion".
This happens all the time to lots of customers that buy a watch and within the 30 day guarantee find a lower price and are totally ignored by this company. Don't believe me, read how bad customer service is from worldofwatches...this company has ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!
world-of-watches.pissedconsumer.com/?order=top
Evine.com had the Invicta Reserve 52mm Venom Swiss Chronograph Master Calendar Bracelet Watch w/ Eight-Slot Dive Case for $294.68...worldofwatches price $419.99 WORLDOF WATCHES DID NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE... I contacted the company, sent all the information, photos, links, etc proof that Evine.com has the watch for $120 less that WOW price...and i was simply put IGNORED, my questions were not answered.
evine.com/Product/627-304?storeid=1&track=-51101
WORLDOFWATCHES DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE, REPEAT CUSTOMER SERVICE...THEIR ONLY INTEREST IS SALE, SALES, AND LOTS OF SALES...
If a company is going to advertise "30-Day Price Match Guarantee WorldofWatches.com guarantees that our prices are the lowest you'll find anywhere online". BACK IT UP...don't make concesions, excuses.
STAND BEHIND WHAT YOU ADVERTISE
I forgot to give you the web address. Here we add it. If you are interested, you can see it.https://www.tinkleo.com/category/watches-102.html
It still depends on the purpose. If it's just for decoration, it doesn't cost much; if it's for identity, it really needs expensive watches. For example, I think that buying watches is just for matching clothes, so I choose to buy watches online, because the price is cheap, and the style is very many, so I can always choose what I like. Tinkleo is an online shopping website with many products and watches, including men's watches, women's watches, children's watches, smart watches, etc.
Poor Service
I purchased an Omega Seamaster from World of Watches.com several years ago under the belief it was a legitimate Omega. After sending the watch to Omega for the 5 year service and to replace a crown, I was informed that the watch's serial number had been removed and therefore Omega would not work on the watch. I contacted World of Watches and they told me that I would have to send it to them for the repair, which I did. Within months of receiving the watch back, the crown once again was stripped and I returned the watch. Five months later, they still have my $2000 watch, claiming that they errored and put the wrong crown on it and that they would repair it, stating, as if I should be happy, that because it was within a year, the repair was free (even though they admitted to putting on the wrong part anyway and charged me $200 for!) I am still waiting on my watch and only just got told that they sent the watch to someone else (who they won't name) for the repair. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $400-500 and buy from a legitimate dealer.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I was with worldofwatches.com for many years. Most of the experience were ok. Recently I purchased a pair of watches as gifts. Not even a week later the website has the exact items on sale, about $20 cheaper for each. I saw they have this "30 day price match guarantee" title, so I summit a request to ask if they could refund the difference. That was my understanding of the "30 day price match guarantee". I hope I'm not the only one think that way. The next day a CSR named Alexis replied, ask me to show her a screen shot proof of the on sale price, she said she couldn't find the items with the prices I saw. I was shocked the "No.1" watch selling website couldn't pull out their own prices records! I summit my request when they were on sale, you replied me one day later after the sale, is that my problem? I mean, there's no description of how to apply for this "30 day price match guarantee". So I wrote back that I didn't know that I have to have a screen shot for this. Then she called me back with an attitude, basically told me to wait until they have another sale then take the screen shots to proof. I was very very disappointment for this kind of service, after I've been with them for these years. I'd rather pay others more a better and honest customer service! They lost my business for $40.
Dear People,
If its to good to be true, then it is.
Remember : CAVEAT EMPTOR!
Buyer beware!
purchased two watches from them. swiss legend and invicta. I wear the swiss often and it works fine. the invicta i havent worn but the glass started to fog for no reason. i called them and the lady said its a manufacture defect. so send it back. but she emailed me the wrong info then hung up on me before i can tell her it didnt have the mailing address that i needed. I read online we still have to pay them $10 for shipping the item back. and i read that it can take months! what !? i guess i can just pay a jeweler to clean it and have it done in days instead of months. someone said on this blog they still havent recieved their watch back! horrible i hope i didnt get suckered into a knock off!
On two occasions I purchased watches from World of watches and on both occasions paid for expedited shipping and on one occasion paid for next day air. Well what they don't tell you is that the so called expedited shipping only applies to whenever they actually "process" the order. Meaning that if you do an online order today bright and early, and pay for next day air, that "next day" is the actual day after they process your order which may not be for 3 or 4 days. In my case I bought the watch on a Monday and didn't receive it until the following week Tuesday. This in my opinion is false advertising and totally unacceptable.
I purchased and Karamica watch because my wife loved it and the price was right.
150 dollars. Three days after I gave it to her the crown and stem came out. Its broken.
My inquiries to World Of Watches have been replied to once when a person responded that he would look into a bar code to send the watch in, if he were allowed to do so from the management. A week later I have not heard anything. I gave my address and email and phone.
I give World of Watches a thumbs down for the headache they cause.
The problem is they use the word "Guaranteed" on their site.
They should use the words "Purchase at your own risk"
You people need to change up the SFP...same watches every day ...it was fine for the first few months, but after many purchases I just got tired of the usual suspects. I probably purchased 30 or so watches, but no more til you change it up. Several months ago you had SFP special and included Invicta. I bought, because Invicta is a product I can totally depend on; the Swiss Legend is okay, but on several occasions I had to take the watch to my watch repair guy to get battery or insert the movement properly...poor workmanship. I would send the watches back, but I do take responsibility and don't want to go through the B.S. of shipping...so I absorb the loss.
Bought a red line alarm watch. does not keep correct time loses 5 minutes a day. Can't send it back because the little plastic tag was removed. I think that they just put returned watches back in stock and hope that the next fool that gets it won't complain. I sent a note to "CUSTOMER SERVICE" and I have been waiting, I think in vain, for a reply. Do yourself a favor and go to a jeweler close to home for any watches that you might like to own If you can find one that stocks some of the crap they sell!
My wife bought me a Reserve 0984 25 jewel watch at World of watches for $950.00 they talk service and warranty BUT that is it just talk. Very Nice looking watch, but it keeps stopping it is a self winding watch, I was told to buy a Self winder. Instead of helping me I was told to spend more money to fix my problem. You would think wearing your watch 12-16 hours a day 7 days a week it would not stop. Do Not buy a Invicta Watch, way too costly for the Quality and Customer Service.
Cancelled order even after deducting money from card
I ordered a watch from WorldOfWatches.com. They say they ship the order in 1 business day but even after 5 days of placing the order they have not done anything. and on 5th day I got a mail that the order has been cancelled. No infromation has given why it has been cancelled. I tried calling to customer care phone but even after calling several time nobody...

This past December, ordered a Swiss Legend-brand chronograph from online retailer, World of Watches.
I received it and noticed it did NOT function as a typical chronograph/stop-watch does: push the "A"
button to start and stop and the "B" button to re-set. Then again, the 1/10th's second dial is NOT part of the stop-watch function! Huh? That's one of the reasons for getting a chronograph: it times things to the
FRACTION of a second. Any ordinary watch will work if you just want to time things in whole seconds,
minutes and hours.
I returned the watch to WoW at my expense, stated my concerns, and they sent the same watch back to
me with a note stating, "1/10 sec. subdial does not run consistantly while chronograph is in use". And
in online conversation with a WoW CSR, I was told that's how it's SUPPOSED to work (or not work, to be more accurate).
And I was told I can return it for purchase price credit and a refund, BUT NOT THE SHIPPING. Even though it does not function like a traditional stop-watch! (Guess I was somehow supposed to know this
up-front before I ever bought it.)
Then again, good luck trying to contact Swiss Legend. Their website does not open-up fully (just a big
red rectangle that never fully-deploys), so you can't e-mail them. They don't answer their 800# when
you use the "customer service option". And I have twiced FAXED them with no response whatsoever.
So, I'm not even sure Swiss Legend is actually in business any longer. (Never mind that their 5-year
warranty excludes just about every component of the watch itself. Seems like a violation of the basic
"warranty of performance" that virtually every product in this country is sold with.)
So, even though "Swiss" is in their name, I am certainly not "neutral" in the animosity I feel towards
this watch-maker and their distributor, or more like it, their PIMP!
Do yourself a favor, and shop elsewhere.
I was able to fix the stop watch. If you move the crown to position 1 you can reset the zero positions for the stopwatch. Apparently my main crown was unscrewed and sort of midway to position one. That caused the stopwatch to reset its zero mark. Please disregard the last part of my previous comment as this site does not let me update it. Thx
This is how it is supposed to work. They designed it this way to conserve battery possibly. When you hit the start button, the seconds hand starts moving, the 1/10th seconds hand only moves when you hit stop to show you the final reading. When you hit reset they both zero out. That being said, mine stopped working right after 20 uses, they zero out at different locations 9 o clock and 3 o clock. Don't think I am going to get another one.
That is how the it works, it stops moving after 30 secs, but it is still keeping time at a tenth of a second, when you hit the stop button the hand will jump to the appropriate 1/10 of a sec, we thought the same things then googled it to find out it is working properly.
I've got a couple of SL watches from WoW and I don't understand the complaint of the original poster, nor a couple of the respondents.
Believe it or not, there are consumers (like me) who don't *want* a chronograph, who want day-date (at a minimum) calendar indication. I purchased the SL watches specifically because they did meet my needs in that regard.
I guess what I'm saying is that if the consumers looked a little more closesly at what they were purchasing, they would realize that it's not a matter of the watch not *working* - it's a matter of the watch not being *designed* to their liking and they didn't see it prior to the purchase. Indeed, the WoW Cust. Service person was right: It's supposed to work that way.
If your idea of chronograph is pretty strict (3 subdials including 1/10 sec) just look closely at the face of the watch to verify that's what you're getting.
Swiss Legend is not the only brand that markets "chronographs" that only have full minute/second hands (no tenths) - I've seen too many to mention.
Bought Rotary Evolution from WorldofWatch 3 months ago, found that the day hand come out and scratch on serial number site. Suspected is rejected or RMA item. Write an email to customer service, no respond at all. Very bad service and quality.
I bout a technomarine ceramic from world of watches and e box was smelly like an oily factory smell and the watch itself had a band that was mismatched. Also the chronograph seems weird. The sweep hand doesn't sweep and the chrono by the 6 works constantly. Not sure what to thi k about that.
same thing happened to me...chronograph doest work properly.
