Wu Yi Source is a RIP OFF - do not go anywhere near them!
Staying Fat forever is better than these scammers ripping you off.
I went for the trial - which arrived the day after the trail period when I could cancel - they continued to take two unauthorised full payments until I cancelled and even then I was still seeing unidentifiable small amounts coming out - My bank's fraud dept told me to cancel the card as if it was stolen.
I asked Wu-Yi SOurce to send me confirmation that they had destroyed my credit card details and had not handed my cc details on to anyone else. (STILL WAITING)
Another thing - I use stock photography in my job and noticed that their 'team" at the bottom of this page under About Us http://www.wu-yisource.com/ is the same crowd as this stock photo here... http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-8514241-business-team-in-an-office-with-a-businesswoman-leading.html
Look who has added their head!
Before you even consider a cup of second rate tea will work RUN! The only weight you will lose from this tea is from your pockets.
Even if you Google WuYi Tea Scam there is a paid add at the top supposedly by a woman who was scammed by other wu yi suppliers and then found the Wu Yi Source worked and was wonderful - So they are even spending Google Ad money for reputation management using SCAM as the keyword.
Start walking every day, drop the sugar carbs all for FREE!
I hope they get caught real soon - where are the laws that govern these scams?
I recently had my credit card number stollen. Someone used it to purchase several items in Great Brittain and in Germany. I recently moved to a state across the country and what did I receive from the mailman - a charge of $5.94 for this package that had been forwarded. I would have refused it at delivery but my teenagers were home and they paid the postage due. Now I never never placed an order for this tea but the people who have my credit card info did. I dont want this product - I didnt order this product - I need to know how to get rid of it. I have not opened the package either. I guess I should return to sender. But I will get stuck with more postage to pay.
i purchased a free trial box of tea, and i recieved that no worries. but then i recieved A PACKAGE OF 3 BOXES OF TEA WHICH I DID NOT ORDER AT A CHARGE OF $180.00 au i do not want this product and do not want any more
Hi there I did the same got the free trial of the wu yi tea and thats all i wanted but I recieved a package with 3 boxes which I did not order please don't send me anymore and cancel all my details.
i am telling about the tea you send that tea for free trail and you send another three box tea which i did not order and you take my funds from my account which i don't want that
Here are all the companies who are working together to RIP YOU off! PriceLimbo.com, Wuyi Tea, Fit-Fac.com, DRI Bromolite, and Nutrition Basics.
I ordered Acai Berry tablets, that's ALL! The link was on Oprah.com! Oprah.com seemed legitimate to me and I wouldn't get scammed. Well, surprise surprise, I got scammed and so did many other people.
As soon as you order your Acai Berry tablets, they sell your information to at least four other companies. I got charged over $300 Canadian for products I didn't even receive. I did receive 2 bottles of the Acai Berry and then I get this box of Wuyi Tea that will last me 10 year! How ridiculous. I only needed to lose 20 lbs and my profile explained this.
I was able to reach all these companies so hopefully I will not be charged anymore but if I do, I will have to cancel my credit card.
I have 4 words for these people, GET a real job!
unauthorised billing for 4 packs of green tea, sent without my authorisation, also charges for web access, not used by myself. costs taken from my account totaling over £89.
i made a web order for WuYi Tea, i am not sure how i became a member to insider secret guide, however i am being charged for what, i have been trying to contact them since November, but i have had no luck can someone please stop this.
I had exactly the same problem. I ordered the free trial for 4.95 (6.19 CAD)for S&H. later I was charged on my visa $ 77.22.when I called them to clarify, I was told that this amount is the cost of the free trial! Thank God, I still hadn't opened the trial package, so I asked if I can return it in this case. and I traveled 120 km to return it. Still they didn't refund my money on my visa.
Today I'm checking my visa statement to see if they've refunded me the money, and in stead I see additional fees charged to my visa of $12.61 at the same date I returned their product, and it says "membership" and there is earlier charge of web access by wu yi of $6.16.
I don't know what to do to stop them of continuing to ripping my visa out. I don't know how much more $$ I have to pay for their free trial that I have returned
I am as well requesting for a full refund of my money, including the $6.19 they charged me for S&H, because it was all a scam!
Here is some information from ConsumerComplaints I just received... Ive copied in some key words from the FTC.

FTC Busts 'Free' Sample Scams
Weight-loss supplement makers settle deceptive marketing claims
February 11, 2009
Makers of dietary supplements that lured consumers on the Internet with allegedly deceptive weight-loss claims and bogus "free" sample offers, and then debited their bank accounts or charged their credit cards for continuing shipments without their consent, have agreed to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that they violated federal law.
• Debiting or charging accounts of consumers who cancelled or tried to cancel, or those who were not adequately informed of the negative option features or terms and conditions, and therefore did not provide express informed consent for the debits or charges.
They also were charged with violating the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and Regulation E by debiting consumers' accounts on a recurring basis without obtaining the required written authorization.
What a rip off. I ordered around Christmas and received my 14 day trial on Dec 31rst. I don't remember seeing any monthly auto shipping for this product or I would not have ordered it. When I got my second bromolite I checked into it and sure enough on my credit card I had a charge on Jan16th for this program. I also had another charge on Feb4th for product I haven't received. The company would credited me for Feb4th but not for Jan16th. Even though I have not opened the bottle. Their trial period and billing states the trial is one hundred percent risk free because for any reason you decide Bromolite is not for you simply call and we will quickly assist you with canceling your auto ship program as well as help you with a refund. I've e-mailed my credit card with my complaint and they will let me know in 7-10 days. Is there anything else I can do. Denise MIller mrafe@bellsouth.net
ME TOO...email customer support at WU YI TEA...they are one in the same and they pulled this same scam, so cancel it at your bank and report them. They got away with over $80.00 so far...so please take action, great scam they are running! They got me many~many people i guarantee it~
wu yi tea is a rip off, charged me $56.00 the following month after the free trial period for 3 boxes of tea i never asked for.they also offer a 60 day money back guarantee, but when i tried to contact them i couldnt find an email address. have had to go to my banks debit card fraud dept, and they said they are inundated with complaints about wu yi tea. so if anyone has an email address can they post it on this site please.
I ordered this tea 4 months ago, after talking to Becky via live chat so I could cancel the tea.The reply was I was obligated to pay three monthly installments, so I said could I cancel after the last month.I was given a cancellation number and would not be charged anymore.I received more teabags and refused to accept them and told Becky that they are being sent back, she wanted a tracking no which I could not supply due to telling the courier that to send them back.I received a phone call from DHL express in Sydney, I told them the scam and what I have been charged and the product had been cancelled, supplied them as well with the cancellation no and the date?DHL rang me back (they have been great), about the company not going to take them back, it will cost me $113 to do that, so DHL advised me they will keep the package for three months then it will be destroyed.I have been charged again by wu yi tea via my visa so I went to live chat again and spoke to a Alisha, was advised they had technical problems when I gave her my cancellation no and e-mail staff directly at support@easyweightlosstea.com and would receive a e-mail within 24 hrs.I cannot find this website and have paid a fortune for a product I returned and what I have received that I still have in the box unused. Please can anyone help me to stop this scam?
Warn all of your friends and neighbors - any thing to do with Wu-Yi Tea is probably a scam. Once they obtain your bank information they will begin to drain money in small amounts, hoping you won't notice. The debit is listed as "membership" so you don't associate it with the "free sample" of weight loss tea you recently ordered for $4.95 and ended up being debited for $49.95. I accuse the owners of this company of theft and challenge them to sue me for libel. Wu-Yi Tea is run by a bunch of crooks, and everyone associated with the company is tainted by its grossly dishonest, illegal and deceptive practices.
S. Terry Lee, J.D.
P.S. I'm serious; I double-dog dare them to sue me for libel.
Yes. I got ripped off, too. So much for the "free trial order", just $4.95 shipping -- that's where they get your credit card info. Even if you don't finish the transaction when you discover your account will be charged $59.95 in two weeks, you will then get a call from a telemarketer to "complete your transaction." I never said "yes", but I got the tea and the charge. There was no contact number or address. The contact number given the credit card company for challenging the fee is just a recording.
What I finally did was go onto the wu-yi source website and there is a live chat feature there. You must follow their instructions exactly. (I did a right-click "select all", ctrl-c, and pasted the conversation into Microsoft Word so I had a copy of the conversation). Put the RMU number they give you on the package and pay for a delivery confirmation. Once they have received the delivery, you use the live chat feature again and they will refund you your money. Ask for a cancelation number for your "membership" and keep the number for future reference. Hope this helps.
WARNING - Please be aware the only thing you are likely to loose with this Company is your money. Free trial is non existant - you fill out the form, pay on your credit card the post & package which you are told is about £4.00 and it comes up about £44.00 ! this is not free and it certainly isnt the Post & Packaging, but its too late youve paid it by then and they just keep taking. I did receive the tea but it was absolutely disgusting! I emailed them to say please dont send me anymore and NOT to take anymore payments from my card. Received a letter from my CC company telling me that I was overdrawn and it turns out they have taken a further 2 x payments of £44.00 each time! The CC company said we could NOT cancel the DD set up with them - even after explaining the situation, they still said no, they cant cancel it and that the rip off company are the only people that can cancel it! for heaven sake what is wrong with these people, dont they understand that this company is stealing from me? Anyway found a way to stop the payments - report your card lost and they will cancel your card and reissue with another one and a different number and no more payments will go through! whilst on the phone they told me that the company had tried to steal a further £44.00 pounds but as the account was in arrears again due to them they declined their request.
Please DO NOT sign up with this comany they are a BIG RIP OFF - PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM.
I signed for a FREE TRIAL of WiYU Tea and retured it when I discovered the cost of the Free Trial. I cancelled and expected a refund instead I find you have taken out another payment from my credit card. I want it all refunded asap or I will have to go through the Concumer Affairs channel to retrieve my money. You are never to take anything from this account again Lorna Cleaver
i have also had money taken 3 months at 42pounds! have cancelled my card, please anybody will that work?
Amanda

I keep getting tea bags which I have not ordered and the money removed from my account.
I have two unauthorized charges from my checking account that are attributed to CPIpay.com...one for $47.00 and one for $3.00. I do not know what these charges are for. I have done some research and found that I am most likely another one of their victims. I have read numerous complaints about the same activity happening to others. I have checked the BBB, and they are listed with several complaints. However, it isn't just www.CPIpay.com but also www.wu-yisource.com. I searched the CPIpay's Customer Service number within the BBB, and it came back with the Wu-yi source company information, which has just as many complaints online as CPIpay, so I imagine they are connected. Here is the contact info that I found from the BBB:

Wu-Yi Source tea is a total FRAUD. When you make the same mistake I did and try (supposely for FREE) their "miracle" tea, you have to pay to return it back, pay for the membership you didn't want even if you called to cancel in time, and pay for the charges the "other" affiliated company charges you. And when you call, they are really nice, but they won't help you at all, because they say it was stipulated in the "contract" you signed when you wanted to try their product. They cannot do anything about the other charges because it's not the same company that charged me.
Basically, when you "try for free" the Wu-Yi Source tea, you are condemned to pay about 50$ ( around 40 US$ ) for one box of tea, that doesn't help you losing weight, and that it would have cost you 3$ if you bought it yourself in a store. The only thing different with Wu-Yi tea is that they added cafein in it, so that the tea wakes you up, but it also creates a strong dependance, because it's the same drug we find in coffee. So when you try it for a week or so, you get headaches if you stop it drastically.
Beware of the american universal philosophy : "If you are stupid enough to get caught by a scam, it's your problem." Americans don't have the Consumers Protection Office (C.P.O.) like we have here in Canada, so they are left on their own when they get caught in a scam.

My advice to everyone taken in by this scheme is to change your charge card number so these scam companies can't put more charges to your account. That's what I just did. I've been "round and round" with three companies today (which was surprising as I'd only purchased acai samples from two) and cancelled accounts I did NOT know I'd signed up for... and am getting refunds. The only ones they won't refund are the ones they charged right after I requested the "SAMPLE"...and that was the first billing for which I never received the product. From what I've read in this blog, that is typical of those companies... they charge your card that first month but don't send a product. That way they think you can't protest when they send the product and bill you the second month. They think. Two companies even told me the USPS verified that the first product had been delivered to my address. I never got it... only the one that was in my mailbox this morning. I contacted my credit card company and they're sending paperwork for me to protest the original charges. I'm also filing a report with my local police department and with the better business bureau.
I ordered the tea - which I duly received - by the box load! Couldn't keep up with it; so I cancelled - which was accepted in, I believe, Nov 2008. Then the $19.95 kept showing up on my credit card statement - both parents in hospital I didn't check on a regular basis until today! Wow - they have continued to charge $19.95 each month for a sister program called Living Lean - an internet based 'diet help' program which apparently I agreed to when I ordered the bloody tea!
I had no idea that (in the small print) I had agreed to such nonsense! I also have NOT received any emails with the self help guru junk for months; I presumed, wrongly, that it was due to the fact that I had cancelled my order last year!
Be aware of this website! The tea may work, I don't know, I tried it with no result; however I'm left with boxes of the junk - anyone want to buy it?! Be wary of subscribing to 'free' trials of anything on the net - I think it should be more highly regulated and monitored!"!
I purchased Wu Yi tea at trial price. I didnt realise was US dolalrs which nearly doubled the price. I noticed money kept coming out of my credit card when I contactd the company they told me it was for tips sent to emal on how to lose weight which I did not authorise. i askd them to cancel and money continued to be taken. I sent back the trial tea and was suppsed to be refunded and amount of $100US dollars. I have spoken to live chat and still have not received a refund. This is dated back to 28/10/08. I am very upset I paid $100 for tea even after posting the tea back to the US so now I have no money no tea.

This company is a complete rip off- I allowed my sister to order this product using my bank card. She called and spoke to a rep. over the phone and was only supposed to be getting the trial order. I was sitting right there when she asked him if anything else would be taken out of the account and he told her no. She recieved her trial box like 2 wks. after ordering it, a few dats later $60 was taken out of my account, she did not even have the product for 14 days before they went back into my account. We just figured that was the full price for the trial box and she stated she would pay me back. A couple of weeks after that they took another $60 out of my account. I called them and canceled the order, she got another box of this product that we did not want, I figured o.k I guess we already paid for it anyway. The following mth. they took another $60 out- I was beyond frustrated. I spoke to a live rep. via live chat and she informed me that they had taken a total of $220 out of my account for this and if I wanted to be reimbursed just send the product back to the Des Moines? address in which I did, she stated that they give refunds every 2 wks. After 2 wks. I looked in my account and there was no sign of a reverse debit transaction on my account from Wu-Yi tea. I called and got a live rep. that was extremely rude. She told me they had reimbursed me $60 on April the 4th- and that would be all they refunded me b/c I was on a 60 day trial and I did not get the product back to them within that amount of time and they were being generous by refunding me for one box. I explained to her that I never got the $60 that they claimed to have put back in my account and how were they only going to refund me for one box when they had recieved all of their merchandise back. She continued to state the same things. I then asked her if I could speak to somebody higher than her and she stated there was nobody I could speak to. Told her about the conversation I had with the live chat rep. and she stated they work for the same company but are not affiliated so if they told me something different I needed to email wu-yi tea source with the transcript in which I did and have not gotten a response or the $60 they claim to have put back into my account. I seriously considering taking them to court for this b/c this is money that I can not loose when I don't have any of their products. Can't say if the product actually work b/c I never used it, nor did my sister. However if you are not sure if this product is going to work for you do not purchase it with your original bank card buy a load and use card.
I made a purchase online for this Wuyi tea and thought l would try it for a trial price of what l thought was $4.50 l was then charged $36.34 and then a further $85.16 AUD for keeping the trial pack of Tea. I was also charged a web access fee of $10.14 - l have since noticed unauthorised withdrawals from my visa account. I contacted the company and they said that l had authorised it when l applied for the trial pack. They then told me in order to get a refund l was to send the product back. I have now returned the product, at my own cost, and they are telling me that l will be getting 50% back because it cannot be resold ! Thats Bull ! I never even opened the packaging it was all totally sealed. Don't get caught in this scam !
I took up this free trial for tea from the US and it ended up costing me $100 Australian per box of 60 tea bags. As I found out later I can buy the equivalent for $4 on ebay. I'm out of pocket $400. I cancelled but they keep charging. Its referred to my credit provider now. Item comes up as CW-MEMBERSHIP XXXXXXXX CYP Merchandise .
Total 3 charges per month totaling about $20. Getting in touch with them they deny they are still charging.
This scam is well documented over the past 12months and still operating. There is obviously a real problem with the legal system and consumer rights in the US to have this happening. This type of scam can be squashed within weeks in Australia with our Fair Trading policies. Thes scams are making the US look bad. I accept I was scammed and have learnt from it, but still I would like these people pay for there scams doing jail time and having all there assets taken regardless of if they are hidding behind there loophole companys. Thats it ...off my soap box...Ray
I TOO HAVE BEEN RIPED OFF UNAUTHORISED MONEY IS STILL COMING OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. MY BANK IS STILL TRYING TO CANCEL THIS BUT CAN'T. HOW CAN WE STOP IT AND RECLAIM ALL THE MONEY THAT I DIDNT AUTHORISE FOR THEM TO TAKE OUT OF MY ACCOUNT?
