Wu Yi Source is a RIP OFF - do not go anywhere near them!
Staying Fat forever is better than these scammers ripping you off.
I went for the trial - which arrived the day after the trail period when I could cancel - they continued to take two unauthorised full payments until I cancelled and even then I was still seeing unidentifiable small amounts coming out - My bank's fraud dept told me to cancel the card as if it was stolen.
I asked Wu-Yi SOurce to send me confirmation that they had destroyed my credit card details and had not handed my cc details on to anyone else. (STILL WAITING)
Another thing - I use stock photography in my job and noticed that their 'team" at the bottom of this page under About Us http://www.wu-yisource.com/ is the same crowd as this stock photo here... http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-8514241-business-team-in-an-office-with-a-businesswoman-leading.html
Look who has added their head!
Before you even consider a cup of second rate tea will work RUN! The only weight you will lose from this tea is from your pockets.
Even if you Google WuYi Tea Scam there is a paid add at the top supposedly by a woman who was scammed by other wu yi suppliers and then found the Wu Yi Source worked and was wonderful - So they are even spending Google Ad money for reputation management using SCAM as the keyword.
Start walking every day, drop the sugar carbs all for FREE!
I hope they get caught real soon - where are the laws that govern these scams?
I have just succeeded in getting these fraudulent charges removed from my visa! FINALLY!
Here is what I did
go to : www.insiders secretsguide.com
I spoke with the supposed "live attendant"
and was very adament about all charges
being credited back. I have confirmation
that it has been done. Good luck to whoever
gets caught in this mess.
I can't believe what a fraudulent scam this is!
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM
Sincerely
Michelle Henderson
I am having the same problem. I got charged twice within a month period for one box of their tea. Of course when you try to call any of their numbers, the mailbox to leave a message is full!
Why the xtra 4.95 charge on my credit card ?
I have had a similar experience. I was charged for an order in September which I did not receive. I have contacted them via phone, e-mail and snail mail asking for my money to be refunded since I did not receive the product and to cancel my subscription. I'm still waiting for the refund. Is anyone living in Edison, NJ that could check and see if they really are located at this address? Maybe this is an offshore scam.
I just received another 3 boxes of tea that I did not order and was charged $56.93. Somebody has to step this company from ripping off the public.
I want the charges to my bank account stopped now. When I ask to try the tea, Idid not know that I was signing up for something esle.ea14a
i have also received the wu-yi teaof which i did not order and an invoice of 180.00. tasted the tea but it is just like any other dsiet tea. i have tried to call the telepnone number they have written on the box but it does not go through. pliz help as this people are ripping people off.
Bought Wu-Yi tea-
Returned for advertised full refund
My bank account is not being charged for $9.95, $4.95 two or three times a month for subsciptions to services and sites I never subscribed to AND NEVER gave my banking information to.
These are fraudulent charges and will be blocked from my account, but I also want to complain for the invasion of my personal banking information being shared with unknown entities from a website which advertised as being locked and secure.
have the same thing happening to me!
how do I cancel this?
I have no way of reaching these people and it's not for lack of trying!
Help!
No one was given permission to take more them $4.95 from my bank.
Wu-Yi denied receiving notice of cancellation through email at the end of the trail period and purposely made their shipment of tea. WU-Yi excuse for making five withdrawal of $29.95 from my account eventhough I return thier supply of tea they denied receiving that to. Wu-Yi trains thier employees to lie and help them claim more victim of this scam to create a check for themselves, proof that accountability is slowly becoming a thing of the pass. How do they get away with capitalizing from unauthorized deduction from your account? this is no different from other illegal scams "taking money" is a crime. Can we organize a class action suit and stop this type of business
I also was taken in by this scam! I ordered a 30 day free trial that I agreed to pay shipping & handling. You have 14 days to try the product before they automatically send you and bill you $67.09 on your credit card. It took 27 days to receive it (so I was hooped from the start). I received my credit card statement and found a charge on it, I hadn't received a 2nd batch of the product. I called the toll free number immediately and explained what had happened, she agreed to debit my account and I could keep the second batch (I had offered to return it whenever I received it). I also had her cancel my account. My next credit card statement had a debit on it - not for the full amount as I live in Canada and there had been a dollar exchange on it... BUT there was another charge for $67.09 as well. I tried calling them immediately and was put on hold long enough that my cordless phone went dead, I called again and had a 2nd phone go dead. There was a message that if their lines were busy to go through a web address that they gave over the phone line. The website didn't work... I then contacted my credit card company, she indicated that she got at least 10 calls a day (that was just her!). She said that I should return any product that I had and give her a call in 30 days so she could check to see that my account had been cleared up.
I managed to get through to them on the phone again this morning - customer service was extremely rude and said that there never was a 30 day free trial and they wouldn't refund any money...
I am old enough to know better! I may have to cancel my credit card and get a new one.
This company promises you a free trial of diet tea, then charges you 60$ a month for it...even for your free 14-day sample. You have to send it back within 14 days if you don't want it, which of course isn't enough time to know if you want it or not. Also, its just Oolong tea, nothing special, you can get it at the grocery store for $5.00, but they charge you $60.00.
BE WARNED!
The Wu-Yi product is simply oolong tea and it is not worth more than the local cost of such product.
My real complaint is with the company's disreputable way of promoting an offer that has hidden flow on such as money being charged within the free trial period.
DONOT fall for this highly questionable method of doing business. They are after your money and they hide behind the anonimity of an internet offer with no real contactable address or phone number.
Their offer is FREE? but you are chareged $37.00 (au) dollars for delivery. Then twice my account was deducted for once $88.-- (au) and just three weeks later another amount this time $99.00 (au). This is going to stop right now even if I have to close mybank account.
I have returned the goods and will demand my money back. I won't hold my breath though.
Once more BE WARNED, DONOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM !
I am getting charges on my credit card and I believe the people at Wu Yi tea gave my information to these other people. I have had my name removed from most of them and asked for refunds on my credit card account but have had no luck with insiders secrets.com
can you please stop taking any more payments because you asked me to try your wu-yi tea for free . i did not ordered any tea off you so if you can refund my money you already taken of me . i have informed my bank.
thank you
kulwant sandhu
I have found that on looking over my credit card statements that I am being charged $4.95 a month for access to a website about diet tips and a monthly membership fee of $9.95 a month. I tried to call the number on my credit card statement and could not talk with anyone but got a website that I could not access. I then called my credit card company and talked with the people who hand disputes and they refunded my charges and said they would contact the merchant bank that the charges come from and ask them to stop billing my account. The credit card company stated it may take two to three months to get it stopped but they would keep denying and asking the merchant bank to stop the billing. I was relieved to at least get my money refunded and, hopefully, in time, the charges will stop.
This tea company is the biggest rip-off I have ever seen. I will never subscribe to anything "FREE" over the internet again! Stop billing me for the internet access at 4.95 per month. I have never used this site, never plan to, and do not intend to pay for this any longer. You have made it impossible for me to cancel. I have had to made 3 calls to cancel 3 different payments that I didn't even know about and your phone lines are ridiculous and no help at all. I will call American Express and stop payment of all items to this company and want a credit to my account for the past two months payments. Let American Express know now to STOP THESE AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS RIGHT NOW!
I did not order this tea refund my card
I have been contineously charged for 2 consecutive months with more almost $200 now and they said it's a free trial. They are not supposed to charged you if you are never happy! I sent them an email and said it was just the shipping that they were charging. WTF I want my money back!
The same thing happend to me. The questions is, what can one do about it? Please advise!
For people getting charged from their banks for $4.95 for something called WebAccess [protected]. Found this information from another website.
The company you actually have issue with is doing business at the domain insidersecretstips.com ... this is NOT affiliated with our company Uncommon Finds NOR with our website, insidersecrets.info. It seems they just have a slightly similar web address as we do. I personally took the liberty of doing a whois domain name search on them and it shows the company in question is actually "edirectsoftware", located in Montana (we are in Florida). They registered their domain name insidersecretstips.com in July 2008 (our insidersecrets.info was registered December 2001.) Here are two contact phone numbers shown on their registration that you might want to try calling: [protected] and [protected]. All of this information can be found through a whois search such as the one at http://whois.domaintools.com A great way to get the skinny on any company or person is also to do a Google search on the following 4 pieces of information: company name, web address, telephone numbers, and administrative contact person's name. You'll find this info on the whois search and then can search away. This technique is something I personally use myself when I need to track down a contact.
Other telephone numbers we tracked down on the web:
[protected] ..Wu-Yi Tea
[protected]...Insider Secrets to Weight Loss
[protected]...Comprehensive Weight Loss E-book
[protected]
We finally figured all of this out by piecing information together during conversations with the victims of these unauthorized charges. When you call the telephone number for the company which appears on your bank statement, you will hear "Hello and thank you for calling the Insider Secrets expert tips preferred customer line. This package was made available to you at a deeply discounted rate when you signed up with one of our partners' offers ..." Listen all the way to the end of the message because it says "To access this valuable information, simply go to insidersecretstips.com and log in using the username insider ..." We are insidersecrets.info. It's just a similar name (which by the way we had first, as any domain search will prove).
You have probably landed here on our site by doing an internet search on "insider secrets tips". PLEASE notice that the only reason our site turned up on your search was because our home page title is "Insider Secrets -- tips you can't live without"
So how do we gt a class action lawsuit going against these guys? this is riduculous A little research also implicates Digital River, and Aexxis - software companies they are doing business through.
I ordered WUYI tea with acadia diet pills. I never got the pills but am being charged $3.95 for web access. Please discontinue this charge as I never gave my permission to take this money in the first place
I also placed an order for Wu-Yi-Tea and received the same extra charge from there related sponsors (Expert Tips Package and the Comprehensive Weight Loss eBook Package). When I tried to cancel it I was sent through many loops (wrong web-address and wrong phone number). These are bogus memberships and I would advice anyone to make sure that you read all the "thin lines". Also there are multiple phone numbers that you will receive after you have canceled your tea account, make sure before you get off the phone with the customer rep. to find out what other accounts you have floating out there so they wont charge you and say its "NON- REFUNDABLE"
I hope this will help further people that are looking for a solution for their weight issues. And not everything out there is what they say it is.
Another piece of the puzzle! Go to insidersecretsguide.com and click on the live chat and make sure they have cancelled your account so that you will not incur any further charges on your cc. I had called the phone number and the only thing they initially did was reverse the charges to my cc. When you go to the website, they will give you a confirmation number. I printed the entire conversation for my records.
This company tells you that you can order a FREE TRIAL by paying shipping only, then puts you on automatic shipment for a program you did not sign up for. I was charged not only for the shipping, but also for the FREE TRIAL. When I called (within 14 days) to complain & cancel, they acknowledged their "mistake" but did not say they would refund the bogus charge, & tried to talk me into continuing shipments. They said they'd already put an order thru for the next shipment & could not stop it. Getting nowhere, I told them I did not like the way they do business, & therefore would not buy their product even it it worked. According to US Post Office regulations, you do not have to pay for items you did not order.
I tried the product & had itching & strange sensation reactions, which stopped at soon as I stopped using it. I am going to have it analyzed at our University. I am now wondering what's in it that is not mentioned. It's supposed to be just tea, produced in a highly refined way.
When I ordered Wuyi tea online I tried the product and it didnt do what it says it would do. I called them from their website and told them not to send me anymore. They didn't, but to my surprise I continued being charged 4.95 and 9.95 for thier free trial offer each month. They leave no phone number and direct you to a website that you cant cancel. Its a scam. I finally realized to call back the actual WUYI Tea company at wuyitea.com and was able to chat with a live operator who was able to cancel out those charges for good. ebooks.com and insidersecretsguide.com are partners with them and work together to scam people.. I am sending this complaint so others in my situation can be helped... Thank you Maryann
hi, I have succesfully got all my money back from both wuyi and living lean.Every bank and credit card company has a section for internet fraud.Contact them, have copies of statements invoices and anything else.My bank put me in touch with their internet fraud person who after looking at it went into their accounts via the number on your statment before the amount taken and was able to RECLAIM all the funds taken from my account. It also helps to take some print outs and names of the websites that have all the complaints about the company on.This company has operated beore under a different name and was stopped from trading.Living Lean is a piggyback company and just another avenue to take money.I wish you all success, get on the phone now or go to your bank, be firm they have special departments for this and should help you.If not make a fuss, write to the manager etc.Regards pat (united Kingdom)
Ordered the product on line back in Sept. was told would only be charged $4.95 for shipping and handling no where on there advertisement does it say you have 14 days to decide if you want to keep the product I was charged$69.87 in Oct. called to ask why I was being charged that amount and was told then about the charge after 14 days if you do not cancel your order. At that time I cancelled my order with the company but was never told about the other charge on my card for $69.87 made on Oct 26th not even 17 days and they are charging me again for this product. When I called back today on Dec 11th I wanted to know why I was charged again and if I could get a credit back to my account, the girl informed me that she could not credit my account because I had cancelled my order when I asked to speak to a manager she told me they were all in meetings at 09:00pm at night and a manager could not come to the phone. The girls name is Kassandra even if that is her real name she very rude, and was not helpful in any way so I was charged twice in one mnth for a product that is not worth $139.74 this company is huge rip off and should be taken off the internet and not able to sell another product. I'm very disappointed in the customer service that I received from the company and I know I'm not the first one to complain about this company.
I do not want this and you continue to send this to me! Stop charging me, I do not want this product. I will contact legal authories if this continues! I can not drink these pixie packs and I want a full refund and credit due. Gail Vendetti
I have tried this product and the adds that they run are very deseptive. I say this add originally online, they charge you for multiple services that aren't mention in the adds and they are not done by the same company. They are an outsourced company. When I tried to call and state that I was returning unused product the sales person was rude degrating and unpleasant. I got fed up trying to talk to her and asked for a manager or superviser and she kept insisting that there was no one that she could transfer me to, that there was no one above her. I asked for the number of the parent company or owner of the company and she said that she did not have that information to give me. This leads me to believe that this company has no structure and has no one to report to for problems. How is that possible in this day in age. I want everyone to beware of this company and their midleading adds and hopefully I can help someone prevent this from happening to them.
This is the first time in my life I have ever filed a complaint about anything I bought online, but I feel compelled to warn others! These people hounded me with emails for months after I visited their website the first time. I finally accepted a "free trial" sample...that was reduced to half the free trial normal price. I never received a free trial! The same day my box of tea came, my credit card was charged $59.95! When I called they said 3o of the tea bags in the box were for my 14 day trial and if I wasn't happy in 14 days I could return the other 30 and get my money back. What? For one, the ads ALL say...try our tea for 60 days and return the empty box for a refund.
Scam # 1...then they say all you will be charged is shipping and handling Scam #2... and when I tried to get a credit they said none could be given unless I mailed back 30 tea bags within 14 days...that's 3 bogus promises too many for me!
Take my advice. woolongforlife.com offers better pricing, no harrassment, order as much or as little as you want and it taste better too! Same health and diet benefits...was also "recommended by the stars" and news channels when it first hit the scene, and works great! Stay away from Wuji unless you want incessant credit card problems and an overpriced product.
PLEASE DO NOT BE TAKEN IN BY THIS SCAM! I was intrigued by the herbal tea but it is a scam, I was charged £15.88 for the free trial then they have charged me small amounts whenever they like, £3.34, £3.32, £6.56. I have cancelled my order with them but you can't get in touch with them. They have since charged me £41.02 and £40.09, have cancelled at my bank but they still keep charging me amounts. BEWARE!
On November 20, 2008 at 10:08 AM I placed an order on my VISA card for free trial 30-day supply of Wu-Yi Tea (60 tea bags) at a total of $4.95 order number 4203980. I have never placed any other order for shipment, however, I am seeing a charge of $77.22 on December 12, 2008 from WUYI TEA [protected].
I tried calling the number listed for cancellation but got a message that the service is not available to me. Additionally, I have searched the webpage for contact info but to no avail.
I am requesting a full refund of my money
Thank you,
Mark Thomas

I have received and continue to be sent Wu-Yi Green Tea and they have continued to charge me! I don't want this crap!
I have tried to e-mail this company, but get no response. I did not ask for more product to be sent, but they keep sending and billing my credit card so far it has cost me over $450 in charges. I keep sending the product back. they said it had 90 money back guarantee back you can't contact them. I want my money back what can I do.
