YellowPages can't log in!

I have an account on www.yellowpages.com and I am a long time user.
Something happened to my account and now I can't log in. I tried everything but nothing helped. I really need to access my account and only YellowPages customer support can help me with that. I would be happy to get some help from them, but unfortunately they are ignoring me and do not reply!
Very disappointed with this service!

YellowPages online advertising

Do not ever sign up with yellow pages group.
They are a scam for all businesses.
The contracts are unethical and misrepresenting.
This online advertising has been a total scam of my money and is proving to be detrimental to my business! Please read the following carefully for it may save you from wasting lots of money.

1 - yellow pages group is the only one in the contract that can cancel the service. So if you signed up for $247 a month for 12 months and want to cancel after the first month you can't. I am currently signed up for a contract that costs me the amount listed above and when I asked to cancel after the second month they refused to cancel. I am stuck with this contract and filing complaints with bbb because of it.

2 - the terms and conditions do not need to be read, signed or agreed upon by you. So when you sign up for the services over the phone they just send you the terms and conditions in an e-mail, in which, get this, they actually list in the terms and conditions that they do not need to be signed, agreed upon, or even read by you. You just sign up on the phone and that's it, your locked into their terms whether you like them or not.

3 - the contract may be described as what they told me as, I quote, "a monthly service which costs $247 a month and extends for 12 months" this is a really misrepresenting way to tell you that your signed up for a 1 year contract that you cannot retreat from and don't even need to agree to their terms and conditions. I thought this meant its just a monthly service in which if not cancelled or terminated will extend for 12 months.

4 - this 12 month contract gets automatically renewed after 9 months. So lets just say you sign up, don't like the service, and want to cancel after a month. They say no your in contract for the next year. You admit defeat and decide to troop it out for the year. At the end of the 12 months you call and say my 1 year contract is over and now i'd like to terminate the services. They will respond with "i'm sorry we renewed your contract 3 months ago and your signed up for another 12 months that you cannot retreat from. Ridiculous.

5 - lets just say that after only 1 month you call them and say I will troop it out and stay for the 1 year contract but I would like to cancel the auto-renewal. They will then respond with "ok, no worries, we've cancelled your auto-renewal". Your now seemingly happy with the situation. Then after the 1 year contract is up, they send you another bill!
You call them back and say wtf I called and cancelled the auto-renewal.In which they will respond with "we don't have any records of that" at this time unless you got the cancellation of the auto-renewal in writing, your now stuck with another 1 year contract that you cannot get out of no matter how much you don't want the services.

Please fellow business owners, listen to my warnings and take note from someone that has been scammed by this company and is currently fighting tooth and nail to have this contract terminated. Never sign up with yellow pages group ever. Tell your friends and family about their unethical business practices and make sure no one supports this company. I can no longer afford these costs for my small business yet the bills keep coming. It has been the single most difficult and frustrating scenario i've ever dealt with, with any company i've ever done business with in my life. I've grown to hate yellow pages group and I assure you will also if you sign up with this company.

If you wish to contact me for any information on how to fight the contract that you may yourself have been roped into or wish to share your story with me please do.
My e-mail is [protected]@gmail.com

YellowPages password

I get log into my account and no one from YellowPages seems to care! I sent them tons of messages but they simply do not react!
Every time I want to log in there that screen which said that my password is incorrect. I tried the “forgot password” option but it did not help!
Well, I can actually live without it and it's simple enough to make a new account, but the fact that YellowPages customer service doesn't care makes me mad! They completely ignored me and in my opinion that is how they showed their disrespect towards me! I'm officially done with YellowPages!

YellowPages cancellation is a pain!

Ron Mullin, from Yellow Pages, Vancouver BC, told me that I could cancel the contract before the start date of the service. My YP service was scheduled to start at a latter date because I had to start my business before going online. One month before the start date, I let him know that I couldn't start my business, so I had nothing to advertise; I wanted to cancel my FUTURE service.

I emailed and phoned him, customer service and my new account manager a lot of times, and they would just leave me without any answer, lie with an "I'm working on that" or ignore my multiple requests. I had to phone from a different line so that they will finally take my phone call!

The contract doesn't specify anything about cancellations before the starting date of the service, even Ron told me that I could cancel. Yet they manage to deny my right of cancellation.

DON'T use Yellow Pages! They are just behind your money. You'll need to chase them when you actually need them. So frustrating!

YellowPages Driver phoning and texting whilst driving

The way this business works is that the taxi driver acts as dispatcher. He was answering phone calls from clients, taking his phone to his ear (i.e. nor hands-free system), even texting stuff to his other drivers whilst he was driving on the highway. This happened several times during the journey, in spite of me asking him to stop using his phone whilst driving. I do not ask for refund, just that he be warned to stop this behaviour and stop putting people's lives in danger.

YellowPages overcharging

Skeptical and dissatisfied with yellow page advertising prices and lies. Was told that if I wanted my listing on their website I had to pay the complete price they wanted which was above board. My website is on page 5 and not working for me, but they hold to their facts that if I opt out from the advertising portion of their billing, I will no longer be visible with them etc etc . From what I have been told, the whole thing is a scam and untruth, therefor, I hope to sit down with them in person and resolve this hideous mess for I hear that they have indeed a contract with Google to get one on the first page, but they certainly have not dealt with me properly.

I totally agree! I signed up with Yellow Pages Ausralia at the start of November 09 and the Ad still is not right! and when you try to get things sorted they just give you the run around "oh so sorry, I'll try and chase that up for you, " or "the person who is hanling that said that they fixed it" and then they expect to be paid! and not even a proof sent out first!
I have spent more time sending well crafted emails to them, so as not to be too rude, and to which they dont respond, and all the while I have not had a single job through them! and not one call from the online ad either!

Does any one have a number to call the head office?

I am sorry that you are not happy with yellow pages. I was looking online and found a website that your business can have a FREE ebillboard. Just go to seekshallfind.com. I was talking to my friend Mike and he has a ebillboard and he is happy with his ebillboard.

It is a well known fact that dealing with telemarketing agents can sometimes be one of life's most stressful and stagnating experiences.

Harassing calls, threats and use of obscene language can coerce you to the edge and moreover, a collector may embarrass you by contacting your employer or even be pursued to disburse for a debt that is not rightfully yours.

There are limits on how far telemarketers can go, that is why we provide information on how to put an end to telemarketer calls and more efficiently, how to correspond with them about your account and/or to dispute a collection action and can teach you what are your rights in terms of privacy.

You can find out more information on our

Probably not unless your contract states something to the effect that if you don't gain any business from it you can stop paying, I doubt that's the case. Yellow Pages doesn't work that way. They guarantee to place the ad in their listings, but I don't think they guarantee increased business.

YellowPages misrepresentation

YP
sales agent grossly overstated & misrepresented product results in
an attempt to induce me to enter into a contractual relationship with
YP. In August 2013, a YP sales agent visited my store to discuss YP
online advertising. After a brief conversation & I expressed that I
was possibly interested. She returned a week or so later & we
discussed the details further, but I still wasn't sure. She told me I
would have tremendous results based upon search statistics that she
cited & that if I wasn't satisfied with the results, I could opt out
at any time. About a week later she returned with a colleague, who
reiterated her claims & told me to expect that YP advertising would
be so effective that my company would quickly "be transformed to a
higher level of sales". He cited several examples of past success
stories & again I was told I could opt out at any time if not fully
satisfied. I decided given the representations made & the opt out
option offered, to try it for a brief period of time. After a month I
had zero results & contacted the sales rep via email, to express my
concern. She told me it takes some time to see results & to stick
with it. After another month of zero results I contacted her to get me
out. Instead she said she would make some adjustments to my listing,
reduce my cost & I should see better results. She had me sign a
document to make those changes. She failed to inform me that not only
were we making changes, but I was also signing up for an additional year
of service. The changes did nothing & I contacted her to get me out
of this horrible agreement. Instead she had a man contact me to review
my listing & offer solutions to enhance my experience. He wanted to
give me a red border to highlight me ad, change the categories, etc.
Again, I was given a document to sign & assured it was only to make
the additional changes. Again, I later discovered I signed for an
additional 12 months. Why on earth would I sign up for 12 months of a
service that I'm trying to get out of to begin with. The rep mislead me
again. The results were still zero, so I contacted my rep, trying to get
out of the deal. She did not respond for 3 weeks. Apparently, she was
on vacation & could not receive emails & nobody covers her
account when she's away? I told her please get me out & sent her
emails to that affect as well. She told me she would speak with her
manager & cancel the contract. Meanwhile, I instructed my bank to
stop the auto pay to YP. I never heard from her again. My calls &
emails went unanswered. Then I started receiving calls from the YP
collections dept. I explained the situation, forwarded the ongoing email
correspondence & was told a manager would soon contact me. I heard
nothing, but several weeks later received another YP collection call. I
again explained the situation & was told the district manager would
be notified & I would be contacted to discuss the matter. Nobody
ever called me. Then I received the first of 2 threatening collections
letters. Yesterday a YP sales rep called me to inform me that my account
had been cancelled & wanted to know what he could do to get my
business back. I explained the situation & was told that somebody
would call me. I just Googled YP complaints & find that I am one of
many, customers that were promised results that they never received
& when they attempted to work it out were ignored & strong
armed by the collections dept. I have been defrauded &
misrepresented by YP. My attempts to resolve this in a reasonable manner
have gone unanswered. I am a small business & cannot spend money
($518 per month) on a service that, despite claims to the contrary,
yields zero results. The gap between the promises made & the results
is staggering. I am filing this complaint in a last ditch effort to
resolve this without taking legal action, but I will take such action,
if necessary.

Your experience sounds like ours. Hands down YP Ad Solutions, under the leadership of John (Andy) Stann [protected] is the most deceitful of any company we have done business with. We are small business owners in St Louis, Missouri. Because YP failed to produce anywhere near the number of leads they claimed they could with their “Mega Zone” and “Levers and Pulleys” shell game, we had informed YP.com that we had no intentions of renewing when our salesman, Mark Kennon [protected] and Andy Stann insisted on meeting with us to present their latest scam. The previous year’s scam was failing miserably, Andy Stann and Mark Kennon did not deny that and as they should, they did agree to compensate us for the documented poor performance as they had done periodically during the campaign. They also promised that they would still provide the promised leads even if it took into the next ad campaign. We felt with such promises, their willingness to rework our ad (that they felt was the main reason our previous campaign was unsuccessful) and an additional ad, supposedly at a drastic discount that we would sign up one last time. We agreed to try another year of print ads in their obsolete Yellow Pages. It didn’t take too long to realize we had been completely scammed once again! Andy Stann and Mark Kennon were already refusing to keep their promises from the previous campaign prior to the new book hitting the streets. When we were sent the additional ad, we quickly noticed that the phone number was incorrect and that the ad was actually cut off mid-sentence. We went over the obvious mistakes on the phone with one of the many, many people we had to contact because our salesman, Mark Kennon could not be reached. We hoped the issue was taken care of though we never received a corrected hard copy. We also asked to proof the “new and improved ad” they were going to provide- it never arrived. We were never allowed to proof our expensive ad. Not until we received the book did we see that not only did they publish the additional ad without the corrections they published our OLD ad again (the ad they attributed to the previous campaign’s dismal performance) with the wrong phone number as well. Just when we couldn’t believe our YP experience couldn’t get any worse THEY ACTUALL WANT US TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES! We continue to be surprised that everyone that we talk to at YP seem extremely confused as to why we wouldn’t be willing to pay for the broken promises and the incorrect ads. Incorrect ads must happen frequently because according to their very tiny print contract just because they print a completely wrong ad doesn’t mean you don’t have to pay for it! They actually have addressed this in their contract! One woman from YP has been calling us about the outstanding balance for some time now and addresses us by some other name everytime- they can’t even keep our names straight! We are actually getting calls from a collection agency and have been told a lawsuit is coming. Curious about how your situation ended or if your are still in collection limbo?

YellowPages sucks

After paying YP.com for 11 months I received a call from LocalSplash.com, an actual internet advertising specialist. I had noticed that my business had been gradually getting slower & slower for the previous year. Ten days after advertising with LocalSplash, my business took off! It was like turning on a faucet. I was doing jobs every day and that was fantastic. I immediately called YP.com to let them know that their performance was non-existant and that they should cancel my advertising immediately. Of course their customer service dept. never let anyone know that I fired their company, so today I received a call from their collections dept. I let them know where they could file their future bills and that I had already cancelled the visa card they were billing, so they wouldn't be sucking anymore money from my account. I also labelled their phone # as BS in my phone memory (along with a host of other co's) so I know not to bother fielding anymore calls from them in the future. If you are unlucky enough to have opened an account with YP.com just remember, You never signed anything because in their greed, they never bother to send Anyone an actual contract to sign & without a signature their so-called "contract" is already null & void. Chew on that awhile YP.com thieves.

YellowPages misleading sales rep and ineffective ads

YP.com sales people contacted me here in Hampton Roads, VA about my cleaning business and I agreed to meet with them. The sales person tried to sell me a website over and over, which I kept telling her I didn't want - I just wanted an ad. She told me that paying for an ad with YP will also create an advertisement with Yahoo and Yelp because YP owned those companies. It seemed like a good deal, so I agreed to an $80 per month ad package. The sales rep told me that with this package, our ad would appear on the first page of the Yellowpages.

Well, it took over a month for the ad to appear on YP. They immediately deducted the payment, however. I called customer service during the first month and they told me that it takes time for the advertisement to appear. I asked why it didn't take time for them to take payments, too. I requested a refund for the first month and they told me they can't do that. Emails went unanswered. The ad finally appeared a little over a month after they took the first payment. When it appeared, it was on the second page of listings, not the first as promised by the sales lady. Customer service says they can't do anything about what a sales rep says. The keywords do not work properly in the search.

I've now had the ads for four months and they are a terrible investment. Ads never appeared on Yahoo or Yelp. Customer service said that YP has no control over what other companies do and can only suggest a listing to them. I thought they owned these companies. I feel like a sucker, now. The ads have produced absolutely no business for me. The ads only attract more telemarketers and sales people, but no customers. Sometimes someone calls me asking for a job. The sales people are nowhere to be found and you can only speak to customer service, which seems to have no power to correct anything. They absolutely will not budge on this contract thing and threaten to turn me over to a collectons agency if I don't pay. Any company that requires contracts has a reason. Stay away!

YellowPages false promises, poor customer service

YP.COM salesman Brian Averback made promises of great things for our business when we agreed to sign a one year contract for over $800.00 a month. We were very disappointed with the results, and when we asked for our contract to be modified to better fit our needs, Brian, and his Manager Joe Pottle came and tried to talk us into a new one year contract with more great promises.
When we did not sign, but instead asked them to provide the service they promised, they smiled, said they would do everything they could to help us, and left.

Not surprisingly, we have never heard from them again.

When we contacted customer service we were basically told that of course the salesmen would say anything to get the contract, but they only sell contracts. They are not responsible for actually making sure we got the services promised.
Oh, by the way, you are stuck. We are sorry you have spent over $8, 000 on services that did not work for your company, but you signed the contract, and we are not going to take any steps to try and give you the customer service promised.

YellowPages rip off

I operated a small home based business for 32 years paying for an ad in the yellow pages during that time. I retired in September, had my business line disconnected and now yellow pages is trying to collect over thirteen hundred dollars from me for advertising for the next year. Am i responsible for paying this bill. I had talked to their rep in June advising her I would likely be retiring and she encouraged to keep the ad in, should I change my mind. I was left with the impression that once my phone was disconnected the contract was over.

YellowPages don't get into this program!

ATT has a YP Clicks campaign whereby they "guarantee" on the phone that they will generate clicks to your website which will hopefully generate business or clientele. However, after 90 days on this program, they have generated a rate of less than 50% of the clicks they said they would generate. Of course, the contract says that they don't warranty any clicks though the program is called YP120 indicating that they are going to get you 120 clicks per month [clever]. Furthermore, they lock you into a contract and you owe the full amount of the contract term even if they don't live up to their end of the deal. Don't get into this program! Save your advertising dollars for something that works and for a company that honors what they say they are going to do!

YellowPages doesn't work

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE to YP.com ! I have already spent $600 and am being asked for another $335 to keep this ineffective program running! They supposedly guarantee clicks and state that 74% of people who click on your site will contact you and that 55% of those will make a purchase. To date I have had 85 clicks AND NOT A SINGLE CONTACT OF ANY KIND! Not a phone call, not an e-mail...nothing. Needless to say I have also not gotten a penny in new business! The folks at the Yellow Pages are trying to tell me that all 85 of those people who clicked on my site are just thinking about my service and may contact me soon. Right! I am locked into this useless program for 6 months (they wanted 12 months) and so they say I just need to give it a chance...and keep paying them for NOTHING

We have closed our business.

We have not received ANY business in 9 months from yp.com

We have had to close our business... it is very slow plus we are moving out of state. Yp didn't care, all's they care about is THEIR bottom line NOT yours
I was on hold for about 15 minutes. They do not let you speak to a Manager.. instead they call themselves so called 'ACCOUNT SPECIALISTS' the name they use to make themselves appear 'SPECIAL'
There is NOTHING special about them.. they did not get ANY business for us in 9 months.
WASTE of money and time
They refuse to let us go for the last lousy 3 months!
Again, ITS ALL ABOUT THEIR BOTTOM LINE, not YOURS!

YellowPages information please

I am seeking individuals that have gone through litigation with YPG and would like to give a helping hand to another individual who is being threatened by YPG. YPG advertised this individuals personal address on the business listing and people started showing up at this individuals personal address. This individual paid for advertising for a business listing with the business address. It took 3 months to remove the listing and for customers to stop showing up at the home address. To date, the indivual has not received compensation despite numerous requests. This individual has been hung up on, redirected, and ignored... now is being sent to collections because YPG sent the individual an invoice for the entire years worth of advertising and demanded payment even though it was a contract for monthly payments. Please email me if you can help at [protected]@hotmail.com. Thank you.

YellowPages terrible customer service & broken promises

Bills were sent to the wrong customer and when I noticed that we were not receiving our monthly statements I asked our account rep to update our information and remove finances charges, due to their error. Rep. assured me this would be taken care and reflect on our next bill. Information was never updated and finances charges never removed. Finally, had to contact customer service to update account. Contacted the account rep. again, and he assured me this was taken care of, yet here we are months later and no resulution. Previous account rep. is no longer with the company and have been passed from Account Rep. to Account Rep., even account manager refused to resolve the issue. We continue to get bogus collection calls about the account and was just recently passed on to another Account Rep that has yet to contact the office. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Their promises of improved business is also bogus, we have had 10x's better results with Facebook and Google Adwords.
