Yes Loans SICK SCAM FOR CUSTOMERS & WORKERS

I started working down Yes Loans on 7th Jan 2008 where i was trained for a week then put into my week in hand, i had to wait 3 weeks before my first pay!

Throughout the time i was working for them they passed me around to different departments even one i had never been trained on but most of us put up with it due to good pay for most of us young people with no qualifications so we was taken advantage of.

Hitting summer last year approaching the credit crunch everything started going mad managers requests from Keith (Wilton) Chorlton the main boss to start making us work overtime over wise we get threatened the sack, not the overtime that bothered me it was the fact we didn’t get paid for any of it.

Normal shifts 9-5.30pm they made us work 9-8pm everyday, Saturdays occasional Sunday, and even bank holiday Monday!
If anyone had a complaint about it all the managers would say is that our bonus pay will cover the overtime we done, the funny thing was that the targets were set high enough so not many people got paid bonus or they wouldn’t pay it and most of us would end up with our basic wage going home tired and stressed.
Not many people argued about the way we was getting treated as everyone knew the credit crunch had hit bad at that time and how hard it would be to look for a new job.

Most departments were having meetings every week due to targets not being hit which was down to the credit crunch but obviously Mr Chorlton didn’t really care as long as he got the money he wanted!
As Christmas came along everyone waiting to have a nice break but unfortunately if you hadn’t booked it off in about 3 months advance you couldn’t have a holiday!
Luckily I booked mine off so as I was looking forward to my week off which did go successful I did have a nice time to relax over Christmas.

The day I came back from my holiday was the day when the whole place was covered in security guards, everybody wondering what the hell was going on
The managers started calling us out group by group, which started causing suspicion when the groups weren’t coming back in, it was simple everyone knew what was happening we were getting the sack! That day eventually my name came up so I walked to the meeting room to see what they had to say surprisingly they said it was due to not hitting target I didn’t bother saying nothing as I wasn’t the type to answer back I think it upset me more than anything knowing what hard work and effort I put into the company and they used me and many others.

As I got home I realized that they owed me £780 from hitting my target in the month so they sacked me for basically no reason at all, I did manage to get the money they owed me but it just made me sick that I couldn’t do nothing about what they put me through.
I got sacked on the 29th December 2008 which because of that I couldn’t take them to citizens advice because they sacked me before a year had been complete.

I moved on and found a job which made me realize how bad that company really is, it made me laugh that my friends who worked there also was getting phone calls to go back, I was glad I changed my number YES LOANS are a SCAM! What they do to people is sick! Never apply for a loan or work their I could go on about many more things. I just think its really sad Mr Chorlton has to treat people like this and has no feelings most probably because he thinks he is big due to the money he is claiming from the less fortunate people in Britain. Will someone please investigate into this messed up buisness.

I applied for a loan via Yes Loans who informed me that they could definitely get me a loan but I had to pay an upfront fee of £69. I informed them that it must not be a loan with a guarantor as I was not in the position to get a guarantor. The loan provided that came through was FLM loans with a guarantor. I rang Yes Loans - 55 minutes of holding before I spoke to somebody - who told me after all that holding that I had to write in. I wrote in June - in September I wrote again and they told me that they had not received my letter and to write again and send it recorded delivery - which I did. I then rang again and after 70 minutes this time of holding - they informed me that they had received my letter 1/10 but it would take them 30 days to process the refund! I am absolutely gutted that they can hold onto my money for nearly 4 months. Having just recently fallen down the same trap with Wentworth - I am waiting for them to refund to me £59 and have lost £120 and have no loan.

Wondering if someone could help me? I rang to enquire about a loan with Yes loans on the 6th November and got so confused I ended up paying out £69.50! It took awhile for me to register what had happened so I rang back and cancelled everything. I asked for a refund but they were unable to offer me one. I had to write a letter asking for this... I did that and nothing! I have sent out two recorded 1st class letters and also tried to ring them but got cut off during the transfer to the Customer care dept...! What can I do? I now get endless calls/texts from loan companies everyday :(

I recently applied for a loan with yes loans to pay off a hospital bill, I spoke to a helpful guy who after lots of questions was happy to tell me I would be getting the loan amount I required, he would send out the paperwork for me to sign I had to pay a fee of £69.50, which I paid on my debit card, I was then told I had to sign the forms they would send out and I would have my money within 3 to 5 days. This morning I have had a phone call from another lender whom yes have passed me onto and after going through everything again have been told I am not getting the loan, and that Yes won't give me one either.I haev tried phoning yes to try and get my money back but was on hold for almost half an hour and kept getting told there were 20 people in front of me in the queue. Do I have any chance of getting my money back from them or is last the last I have seen of it and take it as lesson learned.

Having read the hundreds of complaints about this HORRID company. I just wish I had seen these complaint before I got stung by them for a payday loan which I didn't want. I have been trying to speak to someone and when I do I get put through to there so called customer care department. There is no customer care from them at all. All I would say to you is DO NOT GO TO YES LOANS they are the worst things in the world. I would say people but this is no way to treat a fellow human being. I have been stung for £500 and all I wanted was a loan for £800. So I am now in a worse situation then I was before.

After spending nearly 3 hours on the phone, my battery ran out, while talking to someone, I didn't even know they were YES LOANS. A week later I received paperwork from them to sign and return, but I'd already decided to get a bank loan if I really wanted to bother with one at all.
I returned their paperwork, with a letter saying I was no longer interested and was quite fed up with listening to endless rap music and other codswallop, when trying to contact them by phone. Anyway since then I must have had about 50 calls from companies wanting to lend me money, give me advice on how not to get in debt etc etc and they took £69 from my bank for putting my name on a list.
My advice to others, DON'T ask Yes Loans for help. You only get to speak to someone if you're talking about borrowing money. If you want to complain, stop phone calls etc you get awful music for hours.
I went online for them to call me and when they did, I asked who was paying for the call and she said they were. As usual because I had a complaint, I got the music to cut your throat by and I left it for as long as poss. before going to work - about 45 minutes HA HA HA. I felt better after that.

I also applied for a loan with yes loans and paid £69.95 broker fee, after the first offer of a loan with extortionate rates I cancelled, I put it in writing and heard nothing so I rang them and asked for my refund even then the lad on the phone was trying to persuede me to take a loan out, i refused and told him I wanted my money back, and that a newspaper had been in touch with me regarding Yes loans and if they did not wish me to bad mouth them then to send my refund, I got a cheque 5 days later, so for anybody having problems with this company just threaten them with the papers, Good Luck

Hello i couldn't agree with you more! Surely its unlawful what these thieves are doing! If we just helped ourselves to other peoples money in the name of business we'd be locked up by now! Yes loans are not a legit company are are just hiding behind a website and advertising! I will NEVER give up on my quest for a full refund of £69.50 taken out of my account without my consent on the 13.06.09. Gdluck to you all stick with it!

Yes Loans 3 months for a refund

I applied for a loan with Yes on 5/11/08, however after being duped into paying a fee of £59.50 over the phone, without explanation of the fee I decided to withdraw my application. I telephoned the company on 11/11/08 advising them that I no longer wished to proceed, to be told that that I would need to send back an unsigned copy of my application with a letter of explanation. I did this immediatedly, however I still had not received a refund by 23/12/08. I telephoned the company to be told that they had not received the application form and I would need to return another one. This meant I would need to wait for them to send out a further form, so that I could send it back. I did so on 28/12/08 via recorded deliver, asking for my refund by 16/1/09.
On 23/01/09 I telephoned the company asking if they had received my returned from they confrimed they had received it on 9/01/09, when the post office records confirm it had been received 29/12/08. Thus far I have now been advised that they will refund me my money but it will take 28 days as they will raise a cheque.
Be aware YES loans is not a reputable company avoid them at all costs!

I can add a lot more starting 2009 I recieved a phone tex informing me
I could get my credit card declaired unenforcable and could say ta ta to a debt of £3500 Oh! al av some of that, after a charge of £800 an increase in the debt of £2000 over 12mths I was informed the debt was
indeed enforcable and I would have to pay it Note at this point the name
of the company was Benificial Claims bear with me and all will become
clear I was devastated not to worry say Ben Claims we will sort that out
have you any more debt we will arrange a debt management plan for
you and whats more we wont charge for setting it up, Ok lets go down
that road They did indeed set this up NOTE again the company was
called MONEYWORRIES no complaints there except they were charging £25 per mth for a plan that will take ten years to complete,
there is a link shortly, during a time of being stuck for cash I needed
to pay my council tax so browsing on line I come across YES LOANS
no credit checks (condition of debt manage you do not take on any more
credit) desperate men take desperate mearures so I went through the
form filling and the introductory phone contact at which point I was
told all I needed to qualify was a current bank account and full time
employment, like an idiot, I provided them with my bank details, at
no point did they inform me a fee was to be taken i.e.£70 or that they
were only a broker after finding out, when they sent me the forms to sign, the address of Yes Loans I discover the link and realise I cant use them. I returned the forms unsigned with a letter requesting my money
back.I rang them after a week (17 June 2011) informing them I was
not allowed further credit and could I have the money returned to my
account using the same bank details, I was told no forms or letter had been received and it couldnt be done any way because bank info was not retained even though it states in the conditions that it clearly is.
Now the interesting bit Beneficial Claims (no longer exists under that
name) address WILLIAM BROWN CLOSE Llantarnam Park Cwmbran
MONYWORRIES address WILLIAM BROWN CLOSE Llantarnam park
Cwmbran YESLOANS address you guessed it need I SAY MORE
I will be forming all info I can about this address and presenting it to my
MP and the finantial ombudsman though no doubt they will be within the law

Yes Loans Money taken after cancelled proceedings and several hours of harrasment

i applied for a loan with yes loans and was told they had to take a processing fee of £59.50 which i told them i had no money in my account they asked when i would next be likely to have money so i said "i think about the 5th december but im not sure when my money will clear into my account" i was not asked was it ok to take the money on that date and the phone call ended. the next day i recieved a call from yes loans asking for the money to process the application so i told them i want to cancel the application which they replied by asking why and i told them i had come into some money and no longer needed the loan and i was told that my loans details had been closed and do not hesitate to call if i wanted to apply again. later that same day i recieved another 5 phone calls in which i told them all the appliacation was to be cancelled and they all said it was done 3 days later after recieving untold amounts of calls from yes loans i told them i would be getting them done for harasment should the phone calls continue as i didnt want to proceed no further with the application and then i heard nothing at all from them after that until the 5th december when i checked my bank account and the money had been taken out i called yes loans and asked for a refund he said i had to fill in my form and send it back saying i no longer wanted the loan but still to this day i have not recieved any letter from yes loans so i called them again that same day and told them no letter was recieved and i was told there was nothing they can do until i return the forms and said they would send another one out which i am still yet to recieve i have now had bank charges and direct debits have been cancelled because of this aswell as the endless amount of money i have wasted on contacting them. does anyone know who i can contact to take this matter further and proceed with legal action to reclaim my money? my email address is [protected]@hotmail.com many thanks

It's a shame you didn't listen when you asked for your refund over the phone. If you had (or had clean ears or a working understanding of basic English) then you would have heard the first time that you have to write for a refund. It's always been that way in ALL aspects of finance - Why should you in your illiteracy (the word is Hour - it has an "h" at the beginning) have it any differently to the rest of the world finance industry?

Oh, and by the way - Online applications are done through a SECURE WEBSITE, communication is done through EMAIL... If you don't even know how the internet works - 1) Throw away your computer as you have no use for it and 2) Stop commenting on things you clearly have no idea about.

Yes Loans Yes Loans - Not a loan company!

My Daughter applied for a loan from Yes Loans Ltd. If you check their website (www.yesloansuk.com) it advertises as loan company. She recieved a proposal agreement form offering her a loan, to me the paperwork looks like any other agreement from a finance company

She signed the agreement and paid £49.50 for an administration fee.

She then recieved a call from Welcome Finance who informed her that she had not been succesful in her application for a loan, this caused confusion as she had not applied for a loan with them, it then came to light that Yes Loans Ltd are not actually a loan company and that the £49.50 is a fee that you pay them to look for a loan for you ?

What a joke, I am now taking this matter to the Courts

Again - the same as all the other complaints. I applied for a loan in January 2008. They convinced me to pay £49.50 and i never received a loan that was promised.

I am still trying to get my money back! i just get put on hold all the time!
