Dear YouTube Complaints Department,

I am writing in regards to YouTube's seemingly nonchalant attitude towards videos which are endangering to the people within the videos.

I am referring specifically to the YouTube Channel named: Alexandre

Within his channel, you will find several messages of hatred, slander and libel against a group of fringe Muslims who follow an Imam called Ahmed Al-Hassan. The group is called 'Rayat Al-Sud' or the Black Banners of the East. We are against the Isis types of groups, against the idea of violence and terrorism, and against the killing of any person based on their religious beliefs, gender, or sexual orientation.

In reality, this new sect does not adhere to any particular mainstream Islamic belief. Rather, it is a minority of minority within 'Islam', but unlike regular Islam, this sect believes in the truth of all world religions including Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, and even Zoroastrianism. We believe that all adherents to faiths can go to Heaven based on their personal life choices (not based on whether they are Muslim or not) and that even homosexuals are not doomed to hell based on their orientation alone.

Furthermore, the idea of the headscarf has been lifted from the female followers of this Black Banners sect, as well as the idea of fasting 20 hours in summer for the month of Ramadan.

This kind of change has proven to be too much for some people who used to--or at least claimed to--believe in this sect. They have left the sect and left the Black Banners communities, and as a group we have no problem with this. People are free to choose what they believe and don't believe, what they practice and do not practice. Their belief in our sect and our Imam is of no importance to us.

What we cannot tolerate is their cyberbullying, their harassment, their endangerment of our children and families. The YouTube channels Alexandre and Muhammad Mahdi have, within the past week, focussed their energies on fighting against our group.

We don't have a problem with their disagreements to our beliefs. They are welcome to say that they do not agree with our beliefs.

What we cannot tolerate is that they are posting personal videos of our members--videos taken in personal settings, some showing members' houses, stating our locations, giving full names and faces of people who have not 'come out' in their families and communities. This is, for many, more dangerous and stigmatising than 'coming out' as homosexual in Western culture and even more than in Muslim culture. The reason for this is that our group is considered akin to apostasy from mainstream Islam. The punishment for apostatising in Islam in many Muslim countries and families is death--public death.

Therefore, by posting the videos of several Black Banners members pledging their allegiance to the Imam Ahmed Al-Hassan and calling the videos 'exposing' videos, they are not exposing anything except their hardhearted extremism. They are in fact posting these videos in bad faith. They are aware that none of the people in the videos have given permission to use their faces or voices within their channels. They are also aware that all of the people in the videos could be in danger from their governments, local Muslim communities, and even families, by being seen to be associated with a sect considered to be 'apostasy'.

The users Alexandre and Muhammad Mahdi have even posted videos of people announcing they are married whose dangerous ex-spouses do not know that they are re-married or where they are. These Channels have even posted threats against us, are slandering me personally (Abdullah Hashem) calling me unimaginably disgusting things, and damaging the reputation of each and every person whose face has been posted without their express permission.

As you can see from the women calling themselves 'ex-membes', this group of 'ex-members' are extremists. Their women cover their faces, and they cannot imagine a world in which the head covering for women could be a woman's choice, not an obligation.

I would like the videos all removed which slander me, and any videos which show members of the Black Banners, and lastly, any video which has my name (Abdullah Hashem) in it, as I do not nor have I ever owned a random shop in Germany nor any restaurant. I do not wish to be affiliated with any of these.

We are speaking to lawyers and police on our side to try to get these individuals to stop harassing our members and posting our private information, locations, faces etc. But in the meantime we would appreciate YouTube's cooperation and help in this matter as well.

I have just heard that you have refused to pay secure team. What right do you have to do that?
You tube consists of many outlets of information. Why do you have posts upon posts from the middle east about men that troll for little boys to bring them up to being prostitutes from as early as 9 years old. To have them dress up and dance before them to entice men;
And:
You are taking away the funds from a channel from secure team. A page that people ask and show pictures from their own backyards, and questions about the universe. This is the fìeld of astrophysics! Common subject of learning.

Secureteam10 is the top #1 channel ive seen as far as professionalism, truth and pure unbiased investigation into the field of ufo, s aliens, coverups and issues like the govt and others like nasa pulling the wool over the publics eyes type stories! Secureteam10 has allways been considerate of the other guy per say and never have i felt misled by anything that channel has done .if the channel gets shut down there is definitly something very wrong with your policys at youtube! There is some really sick stuff that youtube allows for some ungodly reason and yet youtube is demonitising securteam10 ? WTF youtube allows many that i cant even count, sick [censored] that is definitly corrupting peoples minds like digging up bodies of dead people, really? I think you guys are looking in the wrong direction, how about a little human intervention instead of a failed algorythm ! Please give secureteam10 thier monitisation back ! Otherwise you might as well just shut down youtube as a whole and let another company give it a try!

Youtube places ads that block the content of the video. I can not believe this is effective advertising. Then place another ad wanting me to buy an ad blocker... This is call fraud, scam. Youtube creates the problem then wants you to pay for them to fix that problem. Extortion. And youtube wants to now sell me youtube tv. If they run the tv function like this, I think not.

While watching a YouTube video (most recently for some old Nintendo game entitled The Miracle Piano Teaching System) when the internetlurker.com guy appeared at the end. Google, get rid of the internetlurker channel immediately and reupload the videos one at a time (without the stupid internetlurker.com guy at the end). YouTube is no place for internetlurker. Close the internetlurker account down or else! YouTube is not allowed to have internetlurker. TERMINATE THE INTERNETLURKER CHANNEL, Google, similar to the termination of Jliby30's YouTube channel! Rid YouTube of the stupid internetlurker channel!

Absolutely shocked and upset, during lunch with my 3 year old daughter here in spain on came an advert in the middle of her children videos she likes to watch, and on came on a shameful advert from ( 100% happiness ) ...Where they were saying the f/ word a few times and throwing food at people ...My daughter heard this f/word and then repeated this and i had to explain to her that she should not use this kind of language and trow food at people...So thank you youtube very much, maybe you should censor content before you air in future

I am a big fan of You Tube. I have many interests, veganism, political events, classic rock etc., but have had the comments section disappear. I have a serious medical condition and the comments have helped with that, and other things, a lot. Is this a system wide phenomena, or just what. The comments provide insights that I would probably not see anywhere else, with ideas that are often full of good information. On my cancer I learned about many herbs and supplements as well as life style changes that have proved to be extremely valuable. Please help.

I've been a longtime member of YouTube and thousands of people, including myself, have been complaining that either someone at YouTube is either manually unticking the "Bell" icon and without it, people do not receive notifications from channels they and I subscribe to. Furthermore, I have asked Google to cease this behavior, otherwise I'll be advocating for people to peacefully march to Google HQ in California and let Google know that the nonsense has to stop asap.
Google does this to people that do not agree with their political views, sad to say, which is factual.
The resolution is simple...all of us ask that Google quit censoring people in a variety of way's and also stop unticking the "Bell" icon regarding subscribers to YouTube channels.
I am confident that someone or a group or company will look into this and resolve this asap.

This morning when I wanted to watch a video an ad came up showing a woman covering her private area with a shell. It was disgusting that something like this has been allowed on YouTube. It made me feel sick and really troubled me. Im tired of seeing inappropriate ads. This needs to stop. Please ensure this does not happen again. Children have access to YouTube and this would have troubled them if they had seen it. I'm disgusted with the amount of nudity that has been allowed to show on YouTube. It's very inappropriate. Please make sure your videos and ads are child friendly.

i had posted a video on youtube they made a claim and said my video was in inappropriate content when there was not it was a video regarding politics but they made a false claim on my video and removed it they refuse to respond to me about what was so bad about the video they have no proof that it was inappropriate content they are also refusing to let me know if i can stay on youtube or not

Thanks to a notification that has popped up on my android phone today, tonight's episode of Game of Thrones has been completely ruined for me.

Why is there no filtering on spoiler alerts that would have stopped this being "recommended" in a country where it hasn't aired yet.

This has completely ruined my day.

You should look at fixing this and make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Or other big TV shows or movies are not ruined for their biggest fans.

No matter what I try youtube refuses to change my channel art. This is really annoying as I don't know what the problem is. I've tried watching tutorials online, however they won't seem to work for me. I've tried using both mobile and computer devices but the end result is still the same. I would much appreciate it if I could get help as it would help me to begin my journey as a youtube and try and grow my channel. Thank you for your help.

During this video being watched by me and my kids, it is wrong presentation of the India map. It is showing Kashmir as a part of the Pakistan. It is totally wrong and illegal to show to next generation of the kids. Can you please help here by giving notice to content creator to change the video content and present proper Indian Map.

The 2 above nicks were violated the rules by verbal offensive, abused, discriminated, hatred, terrorist...languague, and harmful to others. When this download appears on my phone some young girl has her naked [censored] in the picture so i click on stop seeing this and you tube will say we will stop showing this and it asks why and i hit because it is inappropriate and about a hour it comes back up if i want porn i can switch to a porn site I'm an sure i am just one person and you have millions who watch this when i try to remove it by hitting stop seeing this add i don't want to see it.

Hello,
Thank you for your quick response regarding lodging my appeal.
However, I still feel this 'negative' and 'binary' response is not fair.
I am a 53 year old man, who is no threat to anyone. Ignorant and innocent.. I admit on this occasion.
I do not like this feeling of being 'judged' as some kind of 'social outcast' when I have responded innocently to users of you tube.
Forgive me if I was naive, I don't use computers that much, or read lengthy terms and conditions, just like the majority in society.
However, I have learnt a valuable lesson regards violations, standards, expectations and wish to work with you to re-instate my you tube account.
I am very sorry that this situation has occurred, for any upset ive appeared to cause to other you tube users and inconvenience to
Yourselves too.
Please advise if there is or are any other routes I can take to be 'eligible' to use your website once again.

Im non the wiser by your response as to whether or not it is worth pursuing a 'reasonable' attempt to clear my name with you tube with the aim of reinstating my suspendecd you tube account.
Im not impressed or happy with an automated response. I feel left 'confused'. At 53 years of age, im used to adult communications and being treat fairly. Can you please help advise how I access a manager... Or 'officially complain'.

Good afternoon

Last year my Daughter was so badly bullied she ended up being sectioned and is still receiving treatment. I think we have managed to close her account but we would like the videos of her at one of her worst times removed. She was 12 at the time.

Her name is Becky Joseph-Harden. Her videos are under her name. I am her Father Royston Joseph email address roy.[protected]@yahoo.co.uk. Mother is wendy.[protected]@googlemail .com.

The videos are still leaving her open to comments from the people that were bullying her.

On the BTS Ft: Halsey song "Boy With Luv" youtube has deleted about 20 millions views on the song, possibly more. BTS and Halsey have worked hard to make this song and music video to beat or create new records but if views are being deleted how are they supposed to beat/create records. Please give them back the views or just in general not delete them at all. In the future don't delete views just so that the views and time are averaged out or equal.

Youtube has now deleted 16 million views on bts's new song titled boy with love. Their channel is called ibighit. We are trying to make a world record of getting to 200 million views and youtube has ruined it. We are overworking ourselves now trying to fix youtubes mistake. If youtube could kindly either stop deleting views or somehow put the 16 million views they deleted back that would be greatly appreciated. The first time it occurred youtube deleted 14 million views which was three days ago. The second time which was today youtube deleted 2 million views.

Nu son has been making youtube video's since 2011. He started making video's to help with his fight against depression. He has helped a lot of young people who also had problems. Now youtube has taken down hoe channel. He has kept to youtube guidelines never had spam on his channel. Youtube should reinstate his channel, jjustgreg. Youtube should be ashamed of themselves. Please help my son
