Beware of false promises and hidden terms in contracts
Folks please please please please read the fine print in the contract before wasting your money on false promises from a tv commercial! They say on the commercial that this company paid for a new engine in my Corvette! Folks there is a zero percent chance this company will do that! When my daughters car had a transmission problem and it was serviced by a professional shop and had receipts for everything ever done on time as scheduled by the manufacturer, Car shield even with the premium top line contract refused to cover the transmission rebuild as it needed! This is a scam! The fine print gives them much more power to not cover the costs of repair and suck the life out of your account! Read the BBB reviews please and call your repair shop and ask them if they use this company? The answer is no! Every shop I have talked to.

I must admit that I am surprised by the reviews I have seen. I have made several purchases from Zoro, including a major power tool, and my experience has been excellent. I knew that Zoro was the retail outlet for Grainger, so I never bothered to look them up. However, today I decided to see where they are located because I was surprised that an item I ordered a few hours ago is being delivered by Ground the next day. I am in Florida and Zoro is in Illinois. My assumption is that they are delivering from a local Grainger location, although I am not entirely sure. Nevertheless, the tracking has always been good. If I have ever had an issue with Zoro, it is that searching their website can be a bit problematic and their pricing is inconsistent. Sometimes their prices are higher than the market, occasionally they are pretty good, and rarely they are excellent. However, they do offer coupons from time to time, which can result in good prices if they are applicable (although there are many brand exclusions). I am willing to tolerate all of that for the occasional opportunity. Furthermore, their pricing has improved somewhat over the past year. In my opinion, this is a good company that may not be fully accustomed to the online marketplace. Grainger itself is a reputable industrial supplier. I would give them 4 stars, and I believe there is potential for even better.

I was a bit nervous ordering from a new company I have never heard of before but I went for it anyway. I ordered it on 12/26/20. It shipped on 12/28 and I received it today, 12/29. I'm super happy with the shipping time.
When I opened the box I was disappointed at myself because I didn't check the product closely enough to validate it was the right one to replace the existing item I broke. I couldn't find a way to return it online so I ended up calling. (Advice: create an account during the time you order. It's so much easier.)
The gal gave me a full refund and I didn't have to even package up and return the product. I've been so spoiled using Amazon that I was afraid to try someplace new but I'm glad I did. I would order from Zoro again. I'm super happy with my experience.
Wast of time
With the C. Card in hand a and all the Itemized equipment numbers reviewed with the sales person we are all set go. Just one detail, I explained that we require a printed Recipe in the box with the orders a fully detailed with all relaven information, item, number, cost, total, type of payment, and the date ordered, date shipped, order number... I was put on hold? Then. Told that they apparently don't have a way to make a receipt? Or put it in the package? So I explained that we absolutely must have a invoice / receipt with the delivered goods. Or we can't proceed, "No - Sale "? W. T. F. is going on? They lose the Sale, and also lost customers me / us and everyone I tell this story. Unacceptable unprofessional and no one should tolerate this hog wash. We get a box with bubble wrap, plastic molded covered items and even noodles, but not a piece of paper with important and relevent information? Don't even try blowing virtue posturing smoke. This has nothing to do with saving this world. I see how you can get over on this angle.
Zoro had the mfg discontinued product in stock in bulk just what I needed!
The makers of Listerine discontinued the fresh citrus ultraclean mouthwash that I've come to enjoy daily because it tastes delicious and doesn't stain my mouth blue! I searched everywhere for new old stock and found ridiculous offerings for $60+ a bottle from online gougers. On Zoro I found a bulk case of 6 bottles for around $10 per bottle. I ordered two cases and anxiously waited thinking maybe the order would be canceled or something due to no stock available. Well, much to my delight the product shipped and I got tracking info. It arrived to my home with two cases packed in a larger single box and nicely cushioned with filler. Great packing and no damage! I couldn't be happier. The product expiration date was right on same month as I ordered it, but I expected this because the manufacturer discontinued it a while ago. It's mouthwash anyway, perfectly clear, not cloudy and will be fine for me to use until I run out forever. Perhaps my experience with Zoro was particularly good, I don't know. But after seeing so many bad reviews I feel obligated to share my good experience.
Poor notification when an order is canceled
Poor notification when an order is canceled. I waited 2 months before I called, giving them the benefit of the doubt that it was coming. If you don't receive your item you may not be charged, but without notification of default. Very poor communication skills as well by phone, Rude. I'm giving them 3 stars instead of 1 just because I feel sorry for them during this time of CV19.
Promised shipping date in 15 business days. Lost first shipment had to reorder. Kat assured me she would handle my shipment. She dropped the ball and was never available to talk on the phone again. It took 75 days and part of order arrived damaged. I asked for 20% discount on the part of order that was damaged due to improper packaging. They said no and would not let me talk to supervisor.
Please beware that this place is unethical, unprofessional and, in my opinion, scammers. I placed an order on 12/7/21. The item was shipped out on 12/16/21. It's currently 1/4/22, and I have still yet to receive the item. When my order was placed, it was purchased by the admin of our company to be sent to my home. When I searched the order number on Zoro.com, nothing has ever been updated. I eventually called their customer service around 12/27/21 approximately. When speaking with a representative, I was informed that they reached out to the number on file to schedule an appointment. Of course, due to the admin of the company making the purchase on my behalf, they reached out to her in error instead of myself. The customer service person tried to connect me to the freight department, and they were unavailable. I was told that they sent them an email to call me back. The next day I ended up calling them and getting ahold of someone. We scheduled the delivery for 12/30/21. On 12/30/21, apparently on their way to my home, the trailer broke down and was unable to deliver it to my house. This was then advised that they would deliver it on 12/31/21 or 1/3/22. I asked if they would call me to advise which day they were coming and was told that they would make a note to call me. On 12/31/21, I called and to my surprise, they stated that it wasn't being delivered that day and that it would need to be rescheduled for possibly Tuesday, which was 1/4/21. I advised that I was informed that if they were unable to deliver it on 12/31/21 that they said they would deliver it on 1/3/22. This is when I was advised that they made a mistake and that they only deliver to businesses that day. I asked if they could make an exception since they misinformed me, and they said they couldn't. I explained the dilemma with not having anyone available to haul all 280 lbs. inside since they said it was only curbside delivery unless you paid extra for them to bring it into your home. Due to their inconsistencies, they made an exception stating that they would deliver it into my home on Tuesday, 1/4/22. Well, today I called and was informed that it was never even loaded on the truck and that they would deliver it on Wednesday, now 1/5/22. As each day comes, they continue to lie about delivering my item and pushing it out while they have been paid $467.58. They clearly took the money and failed to deliver within their timeframes. I was initially quoted as having it by 12/26/21 and here we are going on 1/5/22 with nothing but false promises from them.

They fulfilled and order for walmart.com. Instead of sending a pair of clamps for $106, they sent one. When I showed them the ad they said it was not their fault and brushed me off.

Just received a notification on my credit card app, a Charge of over $1,600 was made on my credit card! It is a BOGUS charge and I contacted my credit card company and had it marked as FRAUDULENT! It was charged by Zoro Tools, Inc. I have NEVER even heard of this company, much less ordered anything from them. I did place an order on a different online store earlier today using this card, but it was in no way related to Zoro Tools. Now, I am apprehensive about ordering anything else online. It's frustrating that I can't give a zero-star rating!
Dishonest and shady business practices, I ordered an item G7125959Mfr# WS-14-14RC was back ordered and then canceled by Zoro, I called and they initially said it was canceled by the customer and it was not. Zoro has replaced the impact socket set with a different item number G2808663 Mfr #: WS-14-14RC it's still the same Impact socket set but at a $80 price increase, Zoro would not honor my price, this is a direct ship from the manufacturer. My order was canceled because the price increased and they did not want to take a loss on the part, I'm sorry Zoro but that is shady on your part and you have lost a customer, as long a you make a nice profit on every part you sell it's ok but not if you take a loss. please think about this when dealing with this company
Crooked and Unethical! Placed an online order on August 5 for product. Product was received completely damaged and unusable. Called and emailed. No reply. Ended up opening a claim with paypal. They ended up send the replacement package 2 weeks later to the completely wrong business in a completely different State. Had to dispute with PayPal again...STILL NO REFUND! It's been nearly a month now, NO Credit was issued and Have not received product. Don't bother calling or emailing because they don't answer phones. Crooked and Unethical. We will NOT be buying and will be telling our co-franchisee's about them to ensure they don't buy from them either!

Aside from better than normal prices. Their customer service is excellent. UPS lost a shipment that I needed yesterday. I mean badly needed. Sarah very calmly, even though I was bouncing off the walls panicking. Asked what I wanted to do. I was stuck and finnaly asked another be sent. And she did. Expedited by another carrier at no extra cost to me. Even though it was not their fault or even problem. After reading the reviewshere, I get why they now handle shipping problems and do not let shippers. Email I just sent to Zoro; "Dear Sarah, I just saw what you and Zoro did. Expedited using a different carrier to get me the very, very needed equipment. WOW! Way above and beyond. I genuinely appreciate Zoro and your efforts and the way more than the expected service. I have done business with this company for a few years already with orders ranging from ~$50-~$2,000. Very easy to work with. Amazing customer service. Just to give the reader an idea of how helpful and easygoing they are, in what I would call my "worst" experience with them: a product came defective so I emailed them; next business day, they email back that they are sending out a new one and I should "keep, donate or dispose of" the faulty one. The replacement came faulty so I emailed them again and they responded the next morning saying that they are sending out another one. This one was fine. It was a little annoying to have to wait an extra week before the good product arrived, but that was one item out of five in that order and dozens more in many more orders. A one-off like that happens to any company, but the way they handle it makes them unique. I have not had any experience with any other company as easygoing as this one is. The prices are very competitive, and are usually very good after the coupon codes they offer occasionally. The tax exempt form submitting process is very easy. Shipping is extremely fast (usually ships the next business day and received the day after- I still cannot understand why some products have the option for 2nd day air shipping when ground is that quick!). I hope that I did not miss out any more good things to say about them, they are just so amazing that I had to share the knowledge of their A+ customer service.

I would like to commend Zoro on their dedication to their consumers. Generally I don't really write reviews, however, this is an exception. Please allow me to share my experience. I recently was searching Amazon for an electric lawnmower being that my previous one has reached its end of life cycle. After reading reviews on the product, I decided to commit to purchase. Zoro offered the exact same model for approximately $115.00 less. Unaware that they even existed, I explored their website and committed to purchase. They promptly processed my order and promptly shipped my item out. The shipper, who I have decided not to name, actually lost my item in transit. I patiently waited approximately as my item location update remained the same for almost an entire week. I tried to contact the shipper directly and could never get a concrete answer as to the location of my item. I e-mailed Zoro with my concerns. Zoro not only was prompt in their reply, but they were also prompt in their action to rectify the matter. They attempted to locate my item through the shipper, who updated my tracking but backdated it 5 days. Zoro, did not stop there, they informed me of the situation and actually processed a replacement order. Later that day, the shipper contacted me to advise me my item was located and I promptly made arrangements to pick it up. Prior to leaving to pick up my item, i e-mailed Zoro to inform them that my item had been located and that there was no need to ship the replacement, however, they informed me that my replacement order has already shipped. Having this come to light I e-mailed Zoro to request return for authorization. The very next day they e-mailed me to inform me that due to the contents of the item, they could not accept a return shipment and I was to keep the replacement as well, at no additional cost. For that I am thankful even more than I was, being I was already pleased at the effort they put forth prior to providing me with a replacement before my original item was located. I apologize for those who have had a bad experience with Zoro but I cannot do nothing but commend them on a job well done in regard to my order, their communication, how they addressed and handled the situation. Not only would I return to Zoro for future needs but I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to others in need of products that they sell. Just got a text saying my debit card is locked & this company is the phone # that came up. They are scammers & should be avoided at all costs! Everything about their "company" is fake.
I have placed several orders for disposable gloves since the beginning of the pandemic. Most recently *** XL is listed on their site at $5.52 each box of 100 ($0.06 each glove). I received an email that the price is actually $24.26 per box. This is the 3rd or 4th time that they have had a price like this on their website and have emailed me about a much higher cost, since the beginning of the pandemic! I believe it's the "Bait and Switch" since any other website has a higher cost for them but these guys refuse to fix their prices. The first order was in July of 2020 where i ordered gloves for the online price of $4.57 per box and they emailed me saying the price was $22.79 per box. Misleading pricing for years!
Zoro.com Review: A Software Engineer's Take on Their Checkout Process and PayPal Integration
So, I was checkin' out zoro.com 'cause I heard they had some good deals, and I gotta say, I didn't end up buyin' anything. But lemme tell ya why, 'cause it might help ya decide if you wanna shop there or not.
Now, I'm a Software Engineer, been doin' it for years, and I know a thing or two about web development. I started goin' through the checkout process and decided to use PayPal to pay 'cause I didn't wanna risk my financial info on a site I didn't know. But when I got redirected to PayPal's payment page, I noticed that the info I filled out on zoro.com was all messed up. That's a big red flag, 'cause it means they're not callin' PayPal's API correctly. And if they can't even do that right, then what else are they messin' up on the backend?
I mean, I shop at small online stores that use WordPress and PayPal, and they don't have any problems callin' the API correctly. It's not rocket science. But for a big company like Zoro to not even have tests in place to make sure they're doin' it right... well, that's not a good sign.
I'm not sayin' you shouldn't shop at Zoro, but I am sayin' that you gotta be careful. Sometimes you gotta use little things like this to make a bigger decision about how a company operates. So, I hope this helps ya make a more informed choice.
Zoro Review: Unprofessional and Irresponsible - Don't Waste Your Time
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with Zoro. I mean, I ordered some face masks and a couple of other things, and everything seemed fine at first. They said everything was in stock and would ship out in a couple of days. I even got a receipt and invoice for my order.
But then, a few days later, I got another email from them with a sales receipt that only showed the $1 items I ordered. The masks were nowhere to be found. I was like, "What the heck? Where did my masks go?" I tried calling and emailing them, but they just gave me the runaround and made excuses.
They said the masks were backordered and they didn't know when or if they would be sent out. But that didn't make any sense to me. When I ordered them, they said they were in stock and would ship out soon. And I got a receipt and invoice for them. So why did they suddenly disappear from my order?
Honestly, I think Zoro is just really irresponsible and unprofessional. They don't seem to care about their customers at all. They'll make changes to your order without telling you, and they might not even fulfill your order at all. And if you try to call them out on it, they'll just blame someone else and act like it's not their fault.
So yeah, I wouldn't recommend Zoro to anyone. If you want to order something online, go somewhere else where they actually care about their customers.
Zoro Review: Slow Delivery, No Cancellation Allowed, Fast Email Responses
If you're in a rush to get your hands on an item, Zoro might not be the best choice for you. I recently purchased a back register for a gas wall heater from them through eBay, with a promised delivery timeframe of 7-12 days. After 7 days had passed, I decided to reach out to their customer service desk to inquire about the status of my delivery. To my surprise, they informed me that they were still waiting for the item to be delivered to them by the manufacturer.
I was disappointed to hear this, especially since I had deadlines to meet. What's worse is that I wasn't allowed to cancel my purchase, even though the item had not shipped yet. When I placed the order, they claimed to have two of them in stock, but even now, 7 days later, they still advertise to have one in stock. Clearly, this is not the case.
Their customer service rep told me that the cancellation process can take up to 7 business days, which is frustrating. I plan on buying the item from Grainger to meet my installation deadline, but I might still receive an unneeded identical item from Zoro in the future because they won't accept my cancellation.
Despite all this, I have to give them credit for their fast responses via email. They replied to my inquiries quickly, which is appreciated. However, I still have to give them a one-star review. This will be the first and last time I purchase anything from this company.

I placed an order for a cabinet from Zoro approximately one month ago. According to the information provided, the item was supposed to be drop shipped from T on March 19. On the 19th, I contacted Zoro to inquire about the shipment, but they were unable to provide me with any details. I called them again on the 22nd, but unfortunately, they still couldn't provide any information. They informed me that I would need to wait for six business days (which equates to eight days) to receive an update on the item, despite it already being late. I decided to reach out to T directly, and they advised me to ask Zoro for the order number, as they would be able to provide me with the shipping date. When I called Zoro again, the customer service representative was quite condescending and mentioned that she had already explained the rules to me multiple times. Regrettably, Zoro not only refused to provide me with the order number but also declined to contact T to obtain the shipping date. This whole experience has been marked by poor customer service from Zoro. I fail to understand why they are unwilling to obtain the information about my order, which T would readily provide, and instead insist on making me wait eight days to receive an update on this delayed shipment.

Since then, I have had multiple exchanges with customer support and received direct emails from the website. The pattern has been the same each time: they tell me "it has shipped," but when I ask where it is days later, they say "whoops! We will reach out to the supplier." This cycle has repeated four times. After the fourth time, I contacted the supplier myself and found out that the item is in stock. I also reached out to the CEO on LinkedIn, but I have not received a response. Two days ago, I received another email saying "it's shipped!" with a tracking number from ABF Freight. However, when I checked the ABF website, there was no record of that tracking number. Each time I contact them, they suggest that if I am tired of waiting, they can help me cancel the order and choose something else. However, all the alternative options on the website come with an additional charge. I suspect that they never intended to offer free shipping and made a mistake. I hope this was not an intentional bait and switch tactic. Regardless, I need the item as we have a valid contract and it is available at the factory. I want Zoro to take responsibility, pay for the freight, and ship it to me. Thank you.

Reached out to CEO on Linkedin. No response. 2 days ago received another "it's shipped!" With ABF freight trackig number. ABF says no such number in system. Each time they suggest either on phone or email that if I am tired of waiting they will gladly help me cancel and order something else. All alternatives on website carry *** charge. I suspect they never intended to offer free shipping and someone goofed, hopefully this was not old fashioned bait and switch attempt. Either way I need it, we have a valid contract, the item is available at factory. I want Zoro to put it on the truck, bite the bullet - pay the freight and ship it. Thank You.

The company policy states clearly, "hassle free returns with the *** paying return shipping", unless clearly stated by the item. The item does NOT state"ineligible for free returns" though other Zoro items do.My Son signed for the delivery.I contacted the company to request a return. Zoro *** told me that it is not their return because a 3rd party seller shipped it and I should wait 5 days to hear from 3rd party Seller. I have NEVER heard from them. Zoro listed me as the Buyer on Zoro's Accounts, under "Stone Mountain Massage" and showed I had 1 order from Zoro for $672.64. The *** of lading lists the Seller as "BlueGrass Living-Zoro" After I complained and asked to return, they changed my listing on line to, "You have no orders." You must have an order to get paid return shipping!The item is unopened, on the original pallet and covered in plastic drop cloth to protect from weather and ready for pick up on my side porch. I have a current Pay Pal complaint disputing the charge and informing them of false advertising and refuses to pay for return shipping as advertised.I am a Senior citizen. The item has no power and is an empty metal box costing $672.64(the cost of a complete gas fireplace!) The photo depicts a burning fire. I purchased a $632 toilet from this company through an online marketplace. I was supposed to receive it by November 15th. I called several times asking for status only to be told they would call me back. I never once received a response. The company cancelled my order via the same marketplace, stating that I requested the item canceled. I did not cancel this order! The company did this so that I could not leave negative feedback for them. I waited patiently for many weeks and even called the company several times asking for status. This company had my money for months and purposely never gave me status on my order. They gained interest on my money! They are committing fraud repeatedly!

Nightmare Experience with Zoro: Don't Buy Your Safe Here
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Zoro. I ordered a safe a few months back, and boy was it a long wait. I was getting pretty close to cancelling my order a couple of times, but I decided to stick it out and see what happened. And wouldn't you know it, the very day I had given up hope, I got an email saying my safe had finally shipped!
I was pretty excited to finally get my hands on it, but things quickly went downhill from there. I got another email saying it would be delivered on Tuesday, so I spent some time clearing out a path in my garage to make room for it. But then I found out it wouldn't be delivered on Tuesday after all. And to make matters worse, when they finally did call to reschedule for Wednesday, they said they were going to be delivering it in a massive 48 foot truck with a trailer attached. I live in a small town with a narrow, paved road - there was no way that truck was going to make it to my house!
Sure enough, the shipper called me later and said they had no way to deliver the safe. Can you believe it? I mean, has Zoro ever actually sold a safe before? They told me they were going to ship it back, which was just ridiculous - this thing weighs over 500 pounds! And to top it all off, I still haven't gotten my money back, and no one from the company has bothered to call me to explain what's going on.
I was really counting on that safe, too - I had some important legal documents that I needed to store in it. I was supposed to sign the trust docs today, but now I have to go back and modify them to take the safe out. It's just a nightmare.
All in all, I would definitely not recommend Zoro to anyone looking to buy a safe. They clearly have no idea what they're doing, and their customer service is non-existent. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

So, I found a substitution for what I needed and spoke with a representative who verified that there were at least two in stock and that more would be ordered. I thought this was great news, but guess what? The same thing happened again! My order was canceled and the part wasn't even in stock, not even the ones that were verified as being in stock. I was so angry and disappointed with this whole experience.
Personally, I will never use this service again and I'm also boycotting Granger because of their business practices. These are the orders. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.

I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend Zoro to anyone. Our first order got "lost" and they said they'd send another one or give us a refund. We were kinda ticked off, but we figured it happens sometimes. It seems like they don't really care about their customers, since they're willing to ship out damaged stuff and then just offer a refund instead of trying to make it right. I can see from other reviews that I'm not the only one to encounter such despicable service. They have decided to ignore me. They have stolen my 50 pounds. I'm not going away.
They used Parcel Force to deliver the goods, but no decent delivery driver/company would have delivered goods in such a poor state. I don't know what they have actually done with the returned goods. You'd have expected the replacements to be delivered at the same time as the damaged goods were returned. I'm disgusted with Zoro and Parcel Force. It's just not right.

The box had "5/8" x 60ft" printed on it in huge font, and when I opened it up, I found that the pipe had indents and the end was smashed. To make matters worse, I also received a pair of gloves that I didn't even order. I immediately called Zoro to try and sort things out.
After a few minutes on hold, I finally got through to someone. But instead of being helpful, they aggressively tried to convince me that the size was right and that I didn't understand the difference between inner and outer diameter. I've been working in construction for 40 years, so I know my way around a pipe fitting. I told them that I had a 3/4" fitting in my hands and that the size was definitely wrong. But they refused to take responsibility and told me to contact the third-party seller.
I asked to speak to a supervisor or someone in charge, and that's when things really went downhill. The service associate started yelling at me, and I was put on hold again for what felt like an eternity. When I finally got through to someone, the call was dropped. I tried calling back two more times, but the same thing happened.
At that point, I decided to call Amazon and request a full refund, even though the order wasn't technically eligible for one under the A-to-z Guarantee. The call center was clearly located on the other side of the planet, but at least they apologized for Zoro's mistake and promised to help.
I will never, ever order anything from Zoro again. I think even ordering stuff from China would be a better experience. If you're thinking about buying from Zoro, my advice is to avoid them at all costs. Trust me, you'll regret it if you don't.
Delivery of goods
I ordered 18 blue centrefeed, they delivered 12 and delivery note stated 18, rang customer services 3 times, each time they told me they would look into it and call me back. Rang again spoke to claire who said she would call me back that day, didn't. They then send out another delivery, wrong item and wrong order, informed them of this now 3 times by email and zero response
Desired outcome: refund my card with the undelivery of the 6 centrefeeds

I made my order 3 months ago and it hasn't arrived yet. I get emails from them almost every day, but the problem is still the same. My order was probably seized by the custom and it was lost, but the service refuse to check. They are really absolutely not helpful. I will not give up and will write hundreds of reviews to warn everyone about your company.
Ordered shocks for a car. Distributor failed to fulfill order. Going on almost 2 weeks, no refund. Gave them a chance, read here to find out, it's not a scam, they suck.
