infant bodysuits
I ordered bodysuits for my first grandchild. What I got was shoddy craftsmanship. The snaps at the seat were hard to open and re-snap. The print was not of good quality. The customer service rep was dry. Her response: Some things can be returned, some can't. Did you read the fine print? I am not impressed. I will not shop here again. EVER. What I will do, however, is share my experience with anyone who will listen.
quality of merchandise and return policy
I placed my order for 6 dresses; I received 3 of these today.
The quality of the product is very poor; I couldn't wear these dresses out in public because the material is paper thin.
I went to Zulily and commenced the return process. The return policy charges are the worst in the business. Zulily sent me 3 dresses in one bag; for me to return them I am getting charged $5.00 restocking fee for each dress and $5.95 return charges for each dress. This is not good customer policy. I will never place an order again and I plan to let everyone know about your

they are very unprofessional
I won't be shopping here again - absolutely terrible website! Purchased three items from www.zulily.com and received only one item. Zulily support said that the rest two items were no longer available. I told them that there was no information about that on their website and they said that things like that sometimes happen. They did apologize but that did not change anything - my two items were missing and they still had mo money.
I asked for a refund and they said sure but that was just another lie. Where is my money? I want to get my refund as soon as possible and I'm already sick and tired of waiting. I will not buy anything from this site again, they are very unprofessional and can't fix their own mistakes!
the app is crap and only a 30 min cancel period available
I accidentally hit the order button without knowing it at the bottom of the app screen. I had over $500! + stuff in the cart I wanted to come back later and look at. By the time I realized it, 30 min had passed and I was unable to modify the order according to the customer service online information. This is horrible! Nothing warned me first the order was being placed and no confirmation question like other sites! Be warned using their app and browsing their site.
My husband is going to freak when he sees this happened although I am going to call when they open first thing and hopefully cancel this with no issues.
shipping charges that were supposed to be free
I placed an order and it stated that my next order would have free shipping...so I stared placing my next order and it said that there were no free shipping with this order... its the same item but in different color so i know there is not a different in weight of item to charge me... please contact me and explain why they say free shipping and not honor it.

I've purchased a dress from this store and my item was shipped to the wrong address and these thieves did not care! Instead of helping me they claimed that it was all my fault. I have no idea where my dress went to, they refused to give me the address and when I demanded my money back they said that was impossible because dress was shipped! They did not help me, I was left alone and had no idea what to do next. I'm still trying to get my money back but they keep saying that's impossible. Zulily is the worst company I have ever deal with, they don't care about their customers and they don't want to do anything even if that is their mistake! Do not buy from them, you will regret that!
Same thing happened to me. Have had no problem with my zulily orders until now. My order went to the wrong address as my granddaughter had moved but hadn't told me.
E-mailed zulily but have received no acknowledgement or reply. So...what to do next. It seems that the after sales service is non-existent.

I have contacted your company several times for a return label, as simple as that and two of the reps said they were sending me one via email which I never received and then I was advised that one would be sent to me via USPS on 1-20 by a reps name of Akesia T. and to this date have not received a simple return label. Is the label actually on its way?

Item was ordered December 2nd and meant to be a Christmas present. Arrived January 14th. Image our dismay then the item was not at all as expected. In the photo, the item had cute black buttons up the left side and was a straight cut. What we received was very short (even though we ordered the 1X to be long enough per your site recommendations), a-Line and had no opening with buttons.
Even the picture on the website has changed for this item. Deceptive practice to not send what was originally ordered.
Would like to return for full refund.

This horrible company Zulily sent me wrong size clothing and refused to do anything about that! When I received my items everything was extremely tiny and looked like it was made for children. I contacted Zulily right away and sent them pictures but they claimed they had no idea what I was talking about! They said they sent me what I ordered. Zulily is the worst online store ever, they are extremely unprofessional, they make mistakes and do not accept returns! Just don't!

I thought I would try these guys out. Been trying them out about 3 times over the past 6 months. First order got my shirts and they were poor quality. Horrible lead times/shipment times, ordered multiple times and have to wait several weeks for delivery. Also had a shirt on back order and waited almost two months and then they cancelled the order. Ridiculous performance in my book. Yes, have some great deals but not worth the wait can get similar items elsewhere. Some of the shirts I ordered were of such poor quality, wash one time and holes in them and seems coming out. Was worth a try but will not continue to purchase from them. Buyers be aware that pictures do not tell the entire story. Zulily should also be more upfront about shipment times prior to purchase. I am not looking for a refund at this time just want to help those out that my purchase from them.
substituting inferior products
I ordered a cute, top that was gathered in the front for $24. What I received was a plain t-shirt. I complained and asked for a refund, so they shipped me another plain t-shirt, without my consent. I complained again and asked for a refund and they gave me a credit of $10. Sorry, no refunds. My order number was: [protected].
leapfrog tv and games
first off ive had nothing but great experiences with zulily. i purchased a leap frog tv and extra remote with games for my sons birthday and the games keep crashing, its aweful my kids keep crying about it and leapfrog customer service and support have not helped whatsoever. they said there was nothing they could do, i also have a tag pen with 12 books, flash cards and kindergarten programs, purchased on ebay brand new in the box and my computers usb wont read the pen. so the books are worthless, my sons birthday presents are defective and leap frog will do nothing. im so disappointed with leap frog especially since we have a ton of leap frog products that we've never had a problem with. my problem is not with zulily its with leap frog but they said i had to contact you. i will never buy a leap frog product ever again. the dont back up their product and dont care about their customers. when i asked to speak to someone higher up i was denied and told they do not have a corporate office. my complaints fell on deaf ears and i want to send my defective leap frog products back to them. i would send pictures but i dont know how, im horrible with technology it gives me anxiety thats why i bought kid products because i thought they would be easier, boy was i wrong.
cancelling an order
I ordered some sheets from here. I tried about an hour later to cancel it would not let me. My thought was that the order was processing and I needed to wait for a new status. I kept checking the status for 2 days and still I was unable to cancel my order through my account. I emailed Zulily after reviewing the FAQ page to cancel my order. Mind you the order has not yet shipped. I was told they needed to contact the vendor and it would not be guaranteed. What makes me even more upset is that that same evening they shipped my order to me, so now all these sheets are on their way to my home when I have asked for them to cancel my order that had not even shipped yet. I was told it would take several days to hear about the cancelled order and then that same night they shipped the product. I will not use Zulily again.
Just called Zulily customer service regarding my order which I placed November 4, 2019. Was told they can’t give me definite date as to when exactly my oder will be shipped, until they receive my order from the vendor! Then for my cancelled order (I cancelled it less than 30 minutes after I placed it), up until today the amount is still “processing” in my bank.
They charge for the shipping, yet I don’t have a guarantee if my order will actually be shipped.

I placed an order on July 22, 2016 for two women shirts, I received one the middle of August and the other one was supposedly at Zulily ready to be shipped. I call Zulily to see where the item was...they didn't have it in stock! I had not been notified of this at all. I cancelled the order and asked when I would receive my refund, because I paid from a prepaid visa. The rep said three to five days! They claimed they sent it to the bank Aug 29..Well you can't reload a prepaid card, I told them to send me a check. I haven't received any thing, so I just lost 24.99 plus shipping! I am so done with zulily. I will never order anything else from them!
shoes - merrell
I bought two pairs of Merrel shoes from Zulily, I guess the prices are that good cause they have defects. The hiking boots, the inserts slide back almost out of the shoe, easily fixed with some glue, but the tread on the bottom squeaks on every type of surface. I bought some slip on casual shoes for work, the one shoe squeaks on every type of surface, must be a manufacture design defect, they ran a whole line and had nothing to do with them besides let Zulily buy them at a discount and then they sell them.
Will never order any more defective products on here.
zarine comforter set
I will never order another thing from Zulily again. I ordered the zarine comforter set and it got here today and had kind of an order. I washed the set and the order was worse. I washed it 3 times and not only does the comforter stink like skunk my washer and dryer now smell. I did two wash cycles after and then did a load of launder and now my clothes smell. I am going to post NEVER to buy anything from your company on every social media I can and my 4 sister and all of are friends are going to post this too. You crap has ruined my new washer and dryer. For GOD sakes what did you send me don't you monitor the companies you represent? I am a VERY unsatisfied customer and I am going to tell anyone who will listen what kind of company you are.

As a customer, who has spent thousands and thousands of dollars a year on Zulily, in the past, I am writing you today to caution you, as a company, so that you don't turn off paying customers, like myself. I write this letter in love for Zulily, and also because I am compelled as a human to say something when I see something that may be misleading, or dishonest, by a person or company, either by mistake or on purpose.
As a human being, I hold honesty above all else. I would implore you, as a company, to also do the same. As I paying customer. I would humbly say to you that being careful about being honest, or NOT MISLEADING, is MUCH more important to me then a great sale, any day of the week, and twice on Sunday.
As a Zulily customer in the past, I have often checked your prices, the prices you often print in black on your website or app that are crossed out as being, or claiming to be, the ORIGINAL PRICE of the item, or as your lawyer or company would say probably the SUGGESTED original price. The crossed out price in black sits next to your sale price in red. Often, it is very hard to check, or verify, your companies claim on "Original Price", as often the items you are selling are not in stock anymore on the brand item's website (for example NEVE), or the brand item's website is actually a non-English website (for example NIFE), or some items aren't sold via e-commerce, and many other reasons.
Now, let's not forget to mention, in Zulily's defense, all the factor's that could AFFECT the "original price", as stated or suggested by your website. First, I am a Canadian, so I always take into consideration the exchange rate, if the item is not sold on a Canadian website. Secondly, one must be able to find out and verify the original price on said Canadian website, and that the said item, was available to the open public for purchase, at that same price. Something else I must mention, is that I am fully aware that almost everthing in the world is sold, at any price, and we have EBAY and AMAZON to thank for this. For example, a movie on ebay will be for sale at a price anywhere between, $2.99 and $19, 999.00, for the exact same movie. Or for example, the same lug bag can be for sale on Amazon for anywhere between $77.00 and $366.00.
So, let's take that last example of lug bags, and expand on that. Now, if I was an honest company, and not misleading, I would NOT look to EBAY.ca or AMAZON.ca to find my "original price" to post on my website and app for my Canadian customers under your optional Canadian currency side, or the Canadian currency umbrella of your website. No, if I was an honest company, I would look to Luglife Canada, THEIR CANADIAN e-commerce website, the HOME of Lug bags in Canada, for my "original price"! You guys are NOT doing this! More egregiously, if you are OUTRAGEOUS enough as a company to look for an "original price" in a different country other then Canada, for customers who have clicked on the Canadian side of your website, you should let them know! THEN, worse yet, if you are outrageous enough to convert an "original price" found in a DIFFERENT country, back into Canadian dollars, I would definitely make this known on my website, if I was an honest company! AND NOT IN FINE PRINT. OR, also just as bad, are you getting your "original prices" from BRICK AND MORTAR boutiques that also MAY sell LUG BAGS, therefore searching Canada high and low for the smallest, most expensive, BRICK AND MORTOR boutique price, then advertising that as the "original price" on your E-COMMERCE website?
Here is a documented example of how atrocious your company is at finding and identifying the "original price" for items as stated on your website and app, once clicking on Canadian currency. Canadian public, chew on this! This morning, on March 24, 2016, WEEKENDER Lug bags were advertised on Zulily for purchase, claiming the "original price" was between $190.00 and $200.00. This is offensive to me, not to mention misleading and dishonest. I personally own many, many, weekender lug bags, some purchased from Luglife Canada, HOME of the Candaian LUG BAG and the original price for the WEEKENDER LUG bag in any color has been $129.00 CA as long as I have been purchasing from them and as far as I know. WHERE DOES ZULILY GET THE "ORIGINAL PRICE" OF BETWEEN $190.00 AND $200.00? It doesn't matter that your sale price on this Lug bag is worse today then the sale price today on Lug life Canada as you guys can advertise whatever sale you want, but don't insult our intelligence by egregiously stating "OUT OF THIS WORLD" original prices.
This is OUTRAGEOUS and makes me believe something I have wondered for a long time. Zulily cannot be trusted. I would rather be able to trust a company, then get a good sale.

horrible quality!
I was so disappointed when I received my items. I ordered two bras and one dress from Zulily. Items I received were of a poor quality, the material was absolutely rubbish. I ordered bigger size, but everything I got was way to small for me. I wanted to take everything with me on my honeymoon! Also the website claimed bras were 80% silk, but there is no way that fabric was silk! I have silk clothing, and this clothing feels like a cheap garbage bag. I'm extremely disappointed! I'll never order anything from them again!
I too had to return a top that was supposed to be a plus size 2 for $34.94. When it came the fit was smaller for a plus size 2. It took more than two weeks to get a return mailing label, I then promptly mailed it back. Then I had to contact to see why I hadn't been issued a credit, was informed that I was issued a store credit in the amount of $29.99. All I wanted was my money back and would have considered making another purchase, now I'm been forced to continue dealing with this company. Who may I say has very poor customer service. I'm a senior citizen and feel that I have been taken advantage of. I shop online quite frequently and have never run into a problem. So as a result I'll be letting my friends know about my experience with ZULILY. They don't stand behind their merchandise and the material was rather shoddy too.
