I paid for next business day delivery, and the contacts did NOT arrive the next business day. I informed them via chat the following day, stating that I wanted the shipping cost waived. The chat bot claimed to waive it. Later that day, I received a text stating that my contacts were delivered. They were NOT delivered to MY address. They were delivered to a HARDWARE store miles from my house. I called (instead of "chat[ed]") and explained the situation. I was told they would waive the shipping fee. I informed the entry level employee that the chat bot already waived it. She then transferred me to a "supervisor" named "Denise." Instead of accepting ownership for her company's mistake and making an overture to keep me as a customer, "Denise" simply offered to waive the shipping fee (yes, the one that had supposedly already been waived). When I informed her this was unacceptable, Denise's response was that the entry level employee that transferred me to her ("Denise") was "in tears." While sympathetic to the unnamed entry level employee's tears, I found "Denise's" response unbelievably useless and a further complete waste of my time. DO NOT do "business" with this incredibly unprofessional company. (I can speak to professionalism in this regard, as I am a physician who requires proper vision to do my job.)
Desired outcome: Partial refund for the inconvenience and time wasted.
