Flowers cancelled due to late delivery option
I called 800 flowers and was put on hold 10 times while the representative who did not understand english well, could not answer a simple question. I asked for a supervisor and of course no one appeared. I was charged $136.85 for the order, and the cancelled refund was only $104.00. I questioned this as there was no delivery or tax charged.
I asked her why is my refund only $104.00 and she claims it was for delivery charges and tax charges. The difference was shipping of $19.99 and tax of $11.87, but nothing was shipped so my refund should be the same amount I am being charged. I am still waiting for a receipt so I can process my expenses.
On my expense report I am being charged $136.85 and need a receipt for that amount.
It is so sad, that 1-800 use to be one of the best flower delivery services, now they are the worst. Hiring foreign workers who do not understand English, poor service, no answer to your questions, need to put you on hold a dozen times to get an answer from a supervisor who will not come on the phone, placed on hold at least 10 times. Bring back American speaking representatives. That will improve service 100% The quality of the flowers are also not good anymore.
Desired outcome: Could not explain why the refund and the charge were different. Would not put a supervisor on the phone. Still waiting for receipt. Will never order flowers from this company again. NEVER
refund on purchase
I ordered a get well basket for a friend that was in the hospital. The delivery driver was unable to deliver it due to being a military base. I advised 1-800-Flowers that prior to making the purchase and they stated they are local and have delivered to that hospital several times and it would not be an issue. I reached out to 1-800-Flowers several times that day to see if it was delivered to be told they couldnt do it but didnt call to advise. I then requested a refund, which I was told was completed and processed on their end on 4-14-23 and to give 7 business days. I followed up several times, (see attached texts) over several days and was advised the same thing, it's been processed. Last night I follow up again for the refund status to be told it was never done, every concern I had was ignored, the rep kept saying a supervisor would call me to process the refund today. Its 5:17pm and not one call from the company.

I received the wrong Bouquet of flowers called Customer Service asked if he could provide me with the local florist who sent him he said yes. I gave him information then he was trying to distract me and I kept asking give me the name of the florist that delivered them. He said the company does not give that information out. I told him he was a liar he tried telling me I said something different as supervisor he hung up. Mind you the local florist is just as much to blame for this because they willingly sent the wrong paid for item and they didn’t leave any contact information just dumped flowers on 91 degree day on front porch. This company is trying to divide individuals act of kindness with this type of unacceptable behavior.
Desired outcome: I want product number 192458 delivered as promised when legally took funds for good and services that we’re delivered.
Membership I never bought
In May 2020 I purchased flowers like I've done in the past and that was the last time I bought flowers from this company. However, today in April 2023 I was going through my bank statements and I saw that I was charged a $32.65 membership fee since March 2020 which I never authorized. The rep said that he wasn't able to show if I called in March 2020 or did it online to "purchase" this membership. However, I didn't do either, I never purchased a membership, somehow 1-800-flowers did it on my behalf which is super shady and criminal.
Desired outcome: I would like to be reimbursed the whole amount of $97.95 since I never authorized this membership and someone needs to investigate why 1-800-flowers is authorizing this without the consent of the cardholder. This is criminal.
I'd also like to add that when I did speak with the first rep he told me he would transfer me to someone in billing. I waited for about 10 minutes and the rep came back on the phone saying that the billing rep can't talk and that I was denied a reimbursement. I asked the number and he gave me a bogus number of [protected].
So besides 1-800 flowers stealing my money they also waste my time.

I ordered some flowers and they are supposed to have same day delivery I was emailed late afternoon saying they couldn’t be delivered so I called got a little bit of discount and next day they were delivered and they didn’t even look like the flowers I ordered so I was very disappointed again some discount was applied but I’m still not satisfied with the flowers that they sent and they also were supposed to upgrade flowers and that didn’t happen either I’ll never order from there again

Sympathy Flowers
I place in an order on Sunday February 19, 2023 for sympathy flowers and was told that it would be delivered on February 22, 2023. So, I did get a confirmation email and text messages in regards to my order and was able to track to see how far the Fedex truck was in regards to delivering my flowers. Then around 8:45pm tonight I decided to call the 1-800 Flowers because I did not see the truck moving at all to the destination and the representative follow up and told me that it would need to be delivered tomorrow but she could not guarantee it. These flowers were for my Uncle who passed and it is very disappointing that I had to cancelled my delivered because I did not know if my flowers would make it there on time. I use 1-800 before and did not have a problem so this will be the last time time that I will use 1-800 flowers for anything going forward and will make sure that my family members know as well. Valentine's day bouquet with candy
My son & family in Texas tried to surprise me with a Valentine's day surprise bouquet & heart of candy. The surprise was, it didn't come! They waited three days to get it to me. They didn't bring it until February 17th in the evening. When it came it was clearly older flowers because several were fully open and the carnations were drying out and browning. Plus the candy was rancid & disgusting! I called immediately to complain to your company because I know what these things cost and I KNOW they were supposed to arrive on the 14th. If they tried that day (which my cameras show no evidence) why didn't they try the next day? But, instead wait 3 days and only then bring them after relentless calls from my Daughter-in-law asking where they were? Is this how you treat your customers? When I called that night, the rep told after 45 minutes of being put back and forth on hold, they would deliver a fresh bouquet and new candy. I agreed and waited ALL day Saturday the 19th. That was when she promised the would come. Guess what? They never came! All weekend, never came! ORDER #[protected]. ALSO, when I google the address for Blooming Flowers, Inc 2608 S Parco Ave, Ontario, CA 91761, it's an empty house! The phone on the card [protected] rings in Los Angeles! Desired outcome: Either completely refund the above mentioned order OR bring the fresh bouquet and FRESH candy promised after I immediately called to complained!!

My 2 dozen roses We're supposed to be delivered February 14th 2023 to Sue Cortez at 736 River Landing Way. Old Hickory, Tennessee, 37138. They were delivered to Ohio? How did this happen when I gave them the address as stated above? However I did place a another 2 dozen for my niece in Ohio and she did receive it. She called and told me they also sent the 2 dozen for Sue Cortez to her address in Ohio. I then called Sue and she said her 2 dozen roses were not delivered. A very bad mix up on your part that needs to be addressed immediately!

They screwed me my order was 110.38 called customer service over and over only wanted to refund me $21. 38 when my order never got to the door confirmation email was sent that it was delivered stayed online with customer service they stated that they’re refund me half of my money back which was $55.78 and my order redelivered and now their charging me half of my order they already charge me which is now 155.78 that was not delivered and now on my back statement how ridiculous that company should be shut down for taking peoples money and having customer service people who don’t know how to speak English from other side of the universe and not trained what so ever! What a horrible Valentine’s Day neither did my wife get her flowers.

Holiday gift basket
Placed order for a holiday gift basket in late November. Received confirmation that the order was delivered on1/19/23. The recipient never received it. I contacted 1800 informing them that it wasn’t received. I requested a refund for the order of approximately $85. and was told it would be processed. Unfortunately, the cc I used was locked as it was lost/stolen. I called 1800 again to request a refund check. The agent was rude and unhelpful. I’ve spoken to several agents since 1/6/23 for resolution. Each time I’ve been told “you’ll get an email in next 24-hours” to confirm your refund. I am still waiting. All of my calls were redirected to their oversees call center. Besides the clear language barrier it seems, based on the complaints I’ve read here, their responses are scripted and designed to placate the customer and end the call. I was hopeful that I was dealing with a professional organization that took customer service seriously. Not the case. I strongly recommend not doing business with 1800.
Desired outcome: Refund check and, as promised by all agents I’ve spoken with, an email confirming the refund amount, the address the check will be mailed to and the day/date it was mailed.

I received a bouquet of 24 multi-colored roses on 1/7 from my daughter.
I followed to a t the instructions that came with roses. They were a bit brown on the tops, but I thought they’d come out of it. Well, no that did not happen. They began to wilt, never opened & continued with more brown crusty edges. I knew it was not a small price my daughter paid, so I wanted restitution.

The last time an agent told me that, I was told the supervisor would call me. Another hour goes by & still no supervisor came on. Then both agents, Hannah & Jobell quit the chat.
You want to know why I am so upset & angry? My daughter, who sent these to me for my birthday this Monday 1/9. My daughter & I have not had the best relationship, so for me to receive these were a big deal.
These were outside my door for who knows how long in 28-30 degree weather on that day, 1/7 they were sent. Yes, I’ve looked up the exact temperatures for that day. I don’t know how long they sat on a truck in further bad weather?
My birthday was Monday. This has been a very challenging week & then for your “customer service” agents to not resolve issue over 2 hours? Cmon!
I decided to call in and I spoke with Kyle who in 40 mins. had found a local florist to deliver what I wanted, not what your agent wanted me to settle for.

I am an admin at Shell Corporation. I ordered flowers for one of my managers in my department because he was stuck in Canada and would not be able to get them order in time. I contacted your customer support via chat on your website. Dana went back and forth with me concerning the name of the flowers we ordered. I just wanted to know why the flowers did not include the tulips per description and picture. I wanted it to be resolved, however she told me that I needed to reorder because the florist only made what I ordered. Apparently not because the bouquet did not have tulips. My boss paid $115 for flowers that did not have the signature flower his wife loves. This is unacceptable. CS did not want to bring resolution to the missing tulips. This is why I am reaching out. I ordered flowers for my niece, who had just had a baby. The flowers did not come arranged, looked like they were shoved in a vase. Extremely disappointed

No delivery
Second time using this company to send flowers to mil. First time flowers left outside of a closed building 2 buildings over from address and expected her to "find them". This time asked for a specific day of delivery and ordered 3 days in advance and had them sent to sil to avoid previous problem. The day came and went no flowers; they asked me to give them until end of business the next day. I did, no flowers. Firs, t they wanted to give me 20% off of next order {hahaha}, then they offered me 50% off of undelivered flowers. Finally got hannah to agree to a refund, never happened. Then 4 days later they sent me a picture of box of flowers sitting in front of a door. Great except they never bothered to see in anyone was there. They flew out the day after christmas, 4 days after flowers were to be delivered. Which was why I had them delivered early on a certain day. But then I looked at the picture, no snow, in an area that had just had a major snowstorm.

First of all this was order same day and when I checked at 7:30 pm the update said attempted delivery 8:59pm, unable to deliver.- lie! That was on 12/21 wed. On Thursday 12-22,I talked to agent who took off charge for same day and flowers were delivered. I wish I could send you photo of what was sent...more a tower then a tree all sorts of greens sticking out every which way with a few flowers and a ton of status or baby's breath poking out. It was shabby in comparison to the beautiful organized three of roses asters, red carnations, babies breath and a hint of evergreens, red ribbons draping down on 4 sides. So I contact agent again who asked that they be given another chance. I agreed, with several specifics I wanted them to know I expected...
and they sent a very nice little glass bouquet of flowers but again not even close to what I paid $80 ish for. It was maybe 9-10 inches high at best. What I paid for was to be about 20 inches tall, 15 wide at base. I am so disappointed, frustrated and angry. flowers arrived half dead
My best friends husband passed away on Dec 23 and I called to have flowers delivered to her on Dec 26 when they arrived the flowers were wilted and looked dead. I was told she would get a replacement sent over but today is Dec 30 and she is still waiting for her replacement flowers.
I am so disappointed with your company that I will never use you again and I will be sure and tell EVERYONE I know about this , you have certainly let your business go to HELL.

I ordered a funeral spray for my father-in-law's funeral six days before the service and received a confirmation email. Called the morning of the service to confirm and was told the local florist was unable to fulfill the order. No phone call or email notification of this. Spoke with a supervisor who stated they found another florist and the spray would be delivered before the 7pm rosary. Flowers never arrived. Called after the service demanding a refund and after being placed on hold numerous times, was offered a 20 dollar credit for the "inconvenience". Told them to keep the 20 bucks as I will NEVER use this company again. Total nightmare and if I could give them 0 stars, I would.
