1010Tires Mixed Experience with 1010Tires.com: A Review of Online Tire Shopping

My experience with 1010Tires.com was a bit of a rollercoaster ride. At first, I was excited to find the tires I needed at a reasonable price. I placed my order and received a confirmation email, but then I heard nothing for four whole days. I was starting to get worried and wondered if my order had been lost in the shuffle.

When I finally reached out to customer service, I was surprised to learn that there was a discrepancy between the amount I was charged and the amount on my invoice. They explained that there was an environmental levy of $4 per tire, which I hadn't been aware of. While I appreciated the explanation, I couldn't help but feel a little frustrated that this hadn't been made clear to me earlier.

To make matters worse, when I asked about the status of my order, I received a somewhat curt response that left me feeling a bit put off. They told me that the tires were in stock, but that they were waiting for them to be shipped to their shipping depot. I was confused by this, as I thought that if the tires were truly in stock, they would be ready to ship right away.

Despite my misgivings, I eventually received an email saying that my tires had been shipped and providing me with a tracking number. I was relieved to finally have some concrete information about my order, but I was surprised to learn that the tires were coming all the way from their BC depot. I had assumed that they would be shipped from a closer location, so this added some extra time to the delivery process.

In the end, I did receive my tires in time for my trip, and they seem to be working well so far. However, when I factor in the cost of shipping and installation, I'm not sure that I actually saved any money by ordering from 1010Tires.com. While I appreciate the selection and convenience of online shopping, I'm not sure that I would use this particular site again.

1010Tires Mixed Experience with 1010Tires.com: Easy Ordering, Rocky Service

Ordering from 1010Tires.com was a breeze, but things got a bit rocky once I received an email notifying me that my order had shipped and that I needed to make an appointment. I reached out to the local store where my tires were supposed to be shipped to, but they refused to let me make an appointment, claiming that they didn't have the tires. I waited for two more days and then contacted the call center, who confirmed that my tires should have been at the local store and advised me to call them again. I called the store again, and this time they said that they had the tires and had already emailed me. I was confused about what happened during my first call, but I was just glad that I was finally able to make an appointment.

I got the tires installed on the same day, which was great because I needed them for a trip. However, the computer system wasn't registering the TPSM's, and I wasn't sure if they had tested them before I left. This resulted in me having to drive all the way back to the shop and wait for almost two hours while they tried to fix the issue. In the end, they had to remove the MAX brand sensors and install new ITM brand ones. I found it strange because my invoice showed the ITM brand, which was in line with what I had ordered from the website.

Overall, I'm happy with the tires and rims, but the service could use some improvement. It would be great if there was a standard computer system between the call center and the store locations to avoid any confusion. Additionally, I'm still a bit upset that I had to spend two hours plus gas on an issue that wasn't my fault, and I wasn't offered any form of compensation, such as a couple of seasons of free storage. Despite these issues, I would still recommend 1010Tires.com for their quality products and easy ordering process.

1010Tires Frustrating Communication Issues with 1010Tires.com and Retail Outlet in Vancouver

I recently purchased a set of tires for my Volkswagen from 1010Tires.com during the fall season. The delivery was prompt, and I was generally satisfied with the process. However, there were some communication issues between the courier, 1010Tires.com, and me that could have been improved.

Later on, I ordered tires for my Tacoma to be delivered to the retail outlet on SW Marine in Vancouver. I needed to book a time to have them mounted, but before doing so, I decided to call the retailer to check if they had arrived. Unfortunately, I was unable to reach the retail outlet for three consecutive days. I tried calling them about 20 times each day, but there was no answer, no voicemail, and no help. It was incredibly frustrating, to say the least.

Finally, I decided to contact 1010Tires.com for assistance. They apologized and informed me that they don't deal with the retailers, but they assured me that the shipment was on its way, and they would let me know when it arrived. Several weeks passed, and I still hadn't received any updates from 1010Tires.com. So, I called the main switchboard again, and they informed me that only three of my tires had arrived, and they didn't know where the fourth one was. By this point, it had been almost four weeks since my original order.

To cut a long story short, I had to order different tires, which took another ten days to arrive at my house. The courier left three tires on my porch and said that the fourth one had to be signed for. Unfortunately, I had to wait another three days until the tire could be picked up at the courier location. It was challenging to pick something up when they were closed, especially since I work during the day. Overall, the process was not enjoyable, and I understand that winter is a busy season, but the retail outlet should hire someone to answer the phone at the very least.

In conclusion, while I appreciate the prompt delivery of my tires, the communication issues and delays were frustrating. I hope that 1010Tires.com and their retail partners can improve their communication and customer service in the future.

1010Tires Top-Notch Service from 1010Tires: A Big Thank You to Steve Genua!

I bought some tires from 1010Tires for my new wheels that I got from another company for my car. I gotta say, the service I got from Steve Genua was top notch. I called him up back in October 2017 and he helped me out all the way until February 28th, 2018 when I drove away with a smile on my face. Steve knows a lot about tires and wheels, and he's also really good at making sure everything fits right. When I got my new wheels, they had never been put on my car before, so 1010Tires checked to make sure they fit. Turns out, there was a big problem. The wheels didn't fit my car at all! I was so worried, but Steve showed me exactly what was wrong and gave me some options. I could either send the wheels back to the USA, which would cost me $500, or I could have them machined so they would fit. Steve talked to a machinist nearby and explained the problem. The machinist was able to fix my wheels for way less than it would have cost to ship them back. The wheel manufacturer even paid for the machining costs because they said the wheels would fit my car, but they didn't. Now my wheels and tires are on my car and they look amazing! I want to say a big thank you to Steve and everyone at 1010Tires for helping me out with such a big problem. If they hadn't caught it, me and everyone else on the road could have been in danger. Thank you for being so careful and making sure everything fit right. I'm definitely going to tell all my friends about 1010Tires. Thanks again and take care! Robert M.

1010Tires Poor Customer Service and Communication from 1010Tires.com

I recently made a purchase from 1010Tires.com and unfortunately, my experience was not a smooth one. I ordered a set of wheels and tires, but the wheels were back-ordered for three weeks. I wasn't too upset about this, as I knew it wasn't the fault of 1010Tires.com. However, when I finally received the call that my wheels were ready for pickup, I was disappointed to find that three of the wheels were damaged.

I immediately contacted the store and was told to send pictures of the damage. I did so that evening, but when I called back for updates, I was told that the person I was dealing with was off or that the manager had not yet looked at the pictures. After three days of waiting, I decided to return the wheels and tires to the store. However, when I spoke to an employee, I was blamed for the damage.

I was frustrated with the lack of communication and customer service from 1010Tires.com. I tried calling them after work each day for a week to find out the status of my refund, but I was always told that nothing had happened yet and that they would call me back. The last time I called, the employee was quite rude and short with me. I have given up trying to contact them at this point.

It has now been three weeks since I paid for my purchase and over two weeks since I returned the wheels and tires, but I have not received a refund or any further communication from 1010Tires.com. I would advise others to avoid this store if they want a smooth transaction and good customer service. It seems that once they have your money, they don't care about you anymore.

1010Tires Top-Notch Service and Quality Products from 1010tires.com

Hey there!

I just wanted to give a shoutout to 1010tires.com for their top-notch service and quality products. I recently purchased some new rims and tyres from them and I couldn't be happier with the results.

First off, I want to give a big thanks to Andy for being such a savvy and attentive team player. He really went above and beyond to understand and handle any issues that came up with my purchase. And Steve was super knowledgeable about all the products and was really transparent in presenting the pros and cons to me as a customer.

Stephan was also a huge help in reviewing the intricacies of my order and navigating any potential issues that arose. And "DS" from British Columbia was consistently professional in attending to my order and the associated transactions.

Now, I will admit that there were a few communication glitches and technical issues with my order. But the way these gentlemen presented themselves as a single unified team was truly impressive. They worked transparently, honestly, honourably, and thoroughly with me to ensure that I was properly and fairly treated.

I was so impressed with the service that I even recommended 1010tires.com to some of my car enthusiast colleagues at work. And one of them actually made a purchase based on my recommendation!

Overall, I am extremely happy with my tyres and rims and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks for all your combined efforts, 1010tires.com!

1010Tires Mixed Experience with 1010Tires.com: Great Wheels, Poor Customer Service

1010Tires.com is a great place to buy wheels at a good price. I bought some wheels from them in November 2017, and while the wheels were great, the customer service left something to be desired.

After I made my purchase, I received an email from Sophia, the founder and CEO of the company, thanking me for my order and letting me know that my wheels would be arriving at the local 1010Tire location soon. I was supposed to receive a call to set up an installation appointment, but I never heard from them.

I called the local store multiple times over the course of four business days, but I was always greeted by a message saying that they were unable to answer the phone due to the high volume of callers. I also sent them emails and submitted a message through their online form, but I never received a response.

I was frustrated with the lack of communication, so I decided to share my experience on their Facebook page. It wasn't until then that someone from the local tire store called me back and set up an appointment for the next day.

I brought my car in for the installation, and everything went smoothly from there. However, I wish that 1010Tires.com would have communicated with me better and treated me with more respect. I hope that they learn from this experience and improve their customer service in the future.

1010Tires Disappointed with 1010tires.com: Received 2.5-year-old tires!

So, I recently ordered some tires from 1010tires.com and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience. First of all, it took a whole month for the tires to arrive after I placed my order. I was pretty frustrated by the time they finally showed up, but I was excited to get them installed and start using them.

However, when I went to pick up my tires, I was shocked to find out that they were already two and a half years old! The dot code on the tires indicated that they had been manufactured way back in May of 2015. I've bought winter tires from 1010tires before, and I've always received tires that were either manufactured that same year or in the late months of the previous year. I've never received tires that were already two and a half years old.

To put it in perspective, the tires I bought from 1010tires last year had a dot code of 3016, which means they were manufactured in November of 2016. So the tires I just got are even older than the ones I bought last year! I was really disappointed with this purchase and felt like I didn't get the new tires I was expecting.

When I talked to the people at the 1010tires retail store where I had the tires installed, they told me that they couldn't do anything about it because the tires came straight from the warehouse. I was pretty frustrated by this, and I felt like I had been let down by the company.

I kept hearing from everyone at 1010tires about how "safe" the tires were, but that didn't really make me feel any better. The fact is, Kumho provides a 72-month manufacturer's warranty from the date the tire was manufactured. That means that these tires had already lost two and a half years of their warranty before I even got them installed!

I paid full price for these tires, and I feel like I only got half of what I was promised. I don't drive a lot during the winter months, so my winter tires don't get a ton of use. I usually replace them based on time rather than treadwear, since there's usually plenty of tread left. But getting tires that are already two and a half years old just means that I'm going to have to replace them even sooner.

Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with 1010tires.com. I feel like I didn't get the new tires I was expecting, and I don't think I'll be ordering from them again in the future.

1010Tires Frustrating Experience with 1010Tires.com: A Review

I had a bit of a tough time with 1010Tires.com. I was looking for winter tires and alloy wheels for my 2018 Audi S3, but I couldn't find my car on their website. I reached out to technical support, but it took them a few days to get back to me. When they did, they told me that the 2017 Audi S3 was the same.

I went back to the website to try and build a winter tire package, but I couldn't find any options. I decided to contact them through the live chat, and the person on the other end wasn't able to find anything either. However, they were able to build me a custom package, which was helpful.

I was a bit frustrated when I found out that the free shipping promotion I had seen earlier was no longer available. I had tried to buy during the promotion, but I couldn't because of issues with the website. I don't think it's good customer service to advertise something and then not honor it.

When I finally got to the checkout process, I had trouble with my payment. I tried three different card types before my payment was finally processed. It was a bit of a pain, to be honest.

The most frustrating part of the whole experience was that the website itself was the reason I couldn't buy sooner and take advantage of the free shipping promotion. I ended up having to pay an extra $108 for shipping, which wasn't my fault at all.

I've bought tires online from TireRack before without any issues, and I've done it at least five times. I decided to try 1010Tires.com because they're a Canadian company and their prices were comparable to TireRack. However, this experience was painful enough that I'll probably go back to TireRack for future purchases.

1010Tires 1010Tires.com Review: Frustrating Cart System Needs Improvement

I recently stumbled upon 1010Tires.com while searching for new tires for my car. A friend had recommended the site to me, so I decided to give it a try. At first glance, the products seemed fine and I was pleased to see that there were reviews and ratings available. However, my experience with the site quickly turned sour when I encountered issues with the cart.

Let me tell you, the cart on this site is a hot mess. It reset itself multiple times, causing me to have to start over from scratch. And somehow, it added a multiple of four tires to my order, which was definitely not what I intended. To make matters worse, the site bombarded me with non-stop recommendations without allowing me to view the product details before adding them to my cart. And don't even get me started on the confusing selection for buying rims. As someone who is not car-savvy, I was left scratching my head and wondering if I was even looking at the right thing. Maybe it would be helpful if they specified both "wheels/rims" for those of us who aren't familiar with the terminology.

To make matters worse, it seems like the site is storing data in a really confusing way. Sometimes, the data is held when I switch to another tab, but other times it's completely cleared. And when I tried to select rims, the data was cleared yet again. It's frustrating to have to keep starting over from scratch every time I encounter an issue with the cart.

Overall, I think 1010Tires.com has potential, but they really need to work on their cart system. It would be helpful if they implemented better storage client-side or used a database to store and pull information. As it stands, the site is just too frustrating to use and I'm not sure if I'll be returning in the future.

1010Tires Mixed Experience with 1010Tires.com: Great In-Person Service, Poor Online Service

It took me almost 3 weeks to finally get my tire from 1010Tires.com, which was quite frustrating. I even told the team that I was an emergency responder and needed a new tire as soon as possible due to my role in emergency and disaster response. They promised me that I would receive my tire in 10 days, but it ended up taking almost 3.5 weeks with various emails, calls, and discussions with the online and in-person store. I was not happy with the service I received online.

Finally, when I got my tire on my car, less than 2 hours later, my other tire got a nail in it. I had to order another tire, which took over 10 days, and I had to remind the online and Vancouver store yet again. While I have bought several sets of tires from 1010Tires.com, the service is lacking. It took me various messages and calls to get a tracking number for my second tire as they stated that tire tracking does not exist.

Despite the frustrating experience I had with the online service, the price per unit and in-person customer services were amazing. I was impressed with the quality of customer service I received when I visited the store in person. However, the online site needs improvement. I hope that 1010Tires.com can improve their online service to match the quality of their in-person customer service.

As a first-time buyer of winter tires, I appreciated the informative content on the website. However, I did encounter a few issues during my purchase.

I wanted to call the retailer over the weekend to get recommendations for winter driving in my area. Unfortunately, the customer service team was unable to provide me with any product recommendations. While I waited for the weekend to end, I noticed that the prices of both the tires and rims had gone up. When I contacted the website service agent, I was informed that the reason for the price increase was due to low inventory from the supplier.

I was disappointed with the price increase, especially since I had to wait for the weekend to end to make my purchase. I was able to find other vendors who were selling the same tires at a lower price. However, these vendors did not have the rim size I needed for my car. 1010Tires Frustrating Experience with 1010Tires.com: Poor Customer Service and Bolt Issues

I gotta say, I had a pretty frustrating experience with 1010Tires.com. The person on the phone was kinda short with me, almost like they didn't have time for my questions. I was just trying to get some clarity on the tires I was ordering, but they kept telling me that their expert system had already picked out the right ones. But here's the thing - the system only gave me one option for the tire profile, and I really wanted something with a deeper profile. When I asked about it, the operator just kept insisting that it was the only option available. I mean, come on! I'm spending a lot of money here, I should be able to get the tires I want.

But that's not all. I also had some concerns about the bolts that came with the tires and rims. They looked really small and not very safe to me. When I brought it up, the operator basically told me that it was just a cosmetic issue and that I could return the bolts for a refund if I wanted to. But get this - I'd have to pay for the shipping myself! That's just not right. I ended up using the original bolts that came with my car, but now I'm stuck paying for the return shipping on the ones from 1010Tires.com.

Honestly, I don't think I'd recommend this site to anyone. The customer service was pretty lacking, and I didn't feel like they were really listening to my concerns. Plus, the whole bolt situation just left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll probably look for a different site to order my tires from next time.

1010Tires Disappointing Customer Service Experience with 1010Tires.com: Issues with Deposit and Invoice Details

I recently purchased tires from 1010Tires.com and unfortunately, my experience was not entirely positive. Firstly, I paid a deposit of $100 and selected my desired tires. However, I received a message stating that the tires I had chosen were not suitable and that I should select a different tire. I followed their instructions and chose a slightly less expensive tire. However, to my surprise, my deposit was reduced and I was only credited $83. I have raised this issue twice, but I have not received any response from their customer service team. Although it is a small amount, it is the principle that matters, and this reflects poorly on their business.

Secondly, after leaving the dealership, I noticed that all of the vehicle details were blank on my invoice, and the mileage at installation showed as 0 km. This is a major concern as Falken, the tire manufacturer, has advised that they would not honour any warranty issues that might arise because of this. I have tried to contact their customer service team, but they have been passing the buck and not taking any responsibility for this issue.

Despite these issues, I did receive decent tires and wheels for a fair price. However, their customer service has been virtually non-existent with regard to these issues. It is disappointing that they do not take responsibility for their mistakes and do not value their customers. I hope that they will improve their customer service in the future, as it is an essential aspect of any business.

1010Tires Disappointing Experience with 1010Tires.com: Poor Customer Service and Refund Policy

I recently had an experience with 1010Tires.com that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had placed an order for some tires, but shortly after I changed my mind and wanted to cancel the order. I called their customer service line, but was told that the only way to cancel was through email.

I sent an email requesting cancellation early in the morning, but didn't receive a response right away. When they did reply, it was several hours later and they included my shipment number. Confused, I called them again to try to cancel and was transferred back and forth between their Ontario and BC offices multiple times.

After all of this back and forth, I was finally told that the only way to get a refund or return was to email their manager. I sent another email, but this time they replied right away. Unfortunately, they told me that since the order had already shipped, there was nothing they could do to cancel it.

I was extremely disappointed with the lack of help and understanding from 1010Tires.com. It seemed like they were more concerned with getting the order shipped out quickly than with helping me as a customer. Overall, it was a bad experience and I would not recommend this company to others.

1010Tires Mixed Feelings About 1010Tires.com: Damaged Rims During Installation Process

I recently made a purchase from 1010Tires.com and I must say, I have mixed feelings about my experience. I decided to purchase 4 General Grabber Arctic LT tires and had them studded. To go along with my new tires, I also purchased 4 brand new factory Ford alloy rims. These were the same rims that I use with my all-season tires. I specifically requested that the valve pressure sensors be calibrated, but I wanted to keep my all-season tires on my truck. I prefer to put on my own snow tires at home when needed.

However, I was disappointed to discover that the enamel on the inside of my new alloys was damaged due to the installation and removal of the wheels by the 1010 shop. There were deep scratches all around the inside of my rims, exposing the aluminum to the winter elements. All 4 of my rims were affected, and they were in perfect condition before the installation. I only discovered the damage when I went to mount them for the winter months. Now, I will have to touch up the enamel with paint before mounting them.

I understand that these are my winter tires, but this is the first new vehicle I have owned in my 45 years of driving. I was disappointed that my new rims were damaged during the installation process. I wonder if this is how 1010 treats all of their installations?

If you plan to purchase your bling from 1010, I suggest that you tell the manager to take care of the inner rims during installation and check them after if possible. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

I ordered a tire and wheel package and got a confirmation email, but then I got another email saying the tires I wanted were discontinued and only available at a higher price. They told me to pick another set of tires and let them know. I tried to talk to customer service to see if I could still get the tire at the discounted price I had on my order confirmation since they were still in stock on the website. But they told me that they used different sellers and the same tire could have different prices.

I was pretty disappointed that they didn't make more of an effort to make sure I was happy. They had a "not my job" attitude and didn't offer me any other options. I had to go back and look for another set of tires. I'm happy with the tires I ended up getting, but I had to pay more for them. I didn't cancel my order because I didn't want to go through the hassle of finding other wheels, but I won't be using or recommending 1010tires again.

Overall, the website is easy to use, but the customer service could use some work. It's frustrating when you're trying to buy something and you feel like the company doesn't care about your satisfaction. I hope they can improve in the future.

I've had the pleasure of shopping at 1010 Tires twice in the past and I must say, I was quite pleased with my experience. However, my most recent purchase has left me feeling a bit disappointed and hesitant to shop with them again.

When I first reached out to their customer service representative about the tire package I was interested in, I was informed that the items were in stock and that delivery would only take a couple of days. Excited about my purchase, I went ahead and placed my order. However, after several days had passed, I decided to follow up on my order and was informed that the items were not in stock and would take approximately 1 1/2 weeks to arrive.

I patiently waited for the estimated arrival date and followed up again, only to be told that the items had arrived at their western warehouse but needed to be balanced and shipped to my chosen installer. I was a bit frustrated at this point but decided to wait it out. However, after another week had passed without any updates, I had to follow up with them again. This time, I was informed that it would be another week before my order would be shipped out and that it would take several days for delivery.

What was supposed to be a quick and easy purchase turned into a three and a half week ordeal with constant follow-ups. I understand that the seasonal rush for winter tires can cause delays, but I feel that they should have been more upfront about the situation and managed my expectations accordingly. Instead, I was given hollow promises and left feeling disappointed.

Overall, I still believe that 1010 Tires is a reputable company with quality products. However, I would caution anyone looking to make a purchase to be aware of potential delays and to manage their expectations accordingly.

1010Tires Disappointing Experience with 1010Tires.com: Poor Customer Service and Shipping Issues

I gotta say, my experience with 1010Tires.com wasn't the best. I was really excited to get my new tires, but unfortunately things didn't go as smoothly as I hoped. First off, I never received a tracking number for my order. They said they emailed it to me, but I couldn't find it anywhere in my inbox, junk folder, or deleted items. Not a great start.

Then, Purolator tried to deliver my tires twice, but they never left a note to let me know they were here. So, they ended up returning the tires to 1010Tires.com. I tried to deal with their customer service through email, but it took days to get a response. When I finally called them, they told me I had to deal with it through email because there was no one available to help me over the phone. It was frustrating to say the least.

Eventually, I did get a response from someone, but they wouldn't resend the tires without charging me an extra $100. I thought that was ridiculous, especially since it was a mistake on their end and on Purolator's end. In the end, I decided to get a full refund.

I will say that if I had actually received my tires, I would have been happy with the shipping time. It only took about a week to get here. But the hassle of dealing with their customer service and the extra charge they wanted to resend the tires was just too much for me. I ended up finding better tires for a similar price elsewhere, and I'll be taking my business there in the future.

1010Tires the seller still hasn't refunded

The seller from the company www.1010tires.com provided horrible tires. I returned them back, but the seller still hasn’t returned money. I waited 3 weeks already and I wasn’t happy about this situation. I sent emails and messages them, but these jerks only told to wait and that’s all. They are liars and scammers, and I want to find other deceived customers, who lost money. Please we need to stop this company and return our money. Post your comments.

It has now been a month since we sent this person a private message asking for more details in able to solve the complaint. This person has not replied to us publicly or privately, so we can only assume that this problem was already fixed, or that is was not a legitimate complaint in the first place. If this was still a problem, we assume the person writing this complain would be eager to get us the info in order to fix the problem. We will no longer be monitoring this thread and we consider this matter taken care of.

I represent 1010Tires.com and on January 5 we sent a private message through this forum to this contributor asking for more information. At this time (Jan 13) they have still not responded. We are not aware of any issues that this post describes. This person has not provided a name, and order number, or any details on what they ordered then returned. We have only ever had one order from anyone with a first or last name similar to "Fahdi", and there is no record of any return on that particular order. We are being accused of being liars and of keeping money after a return, however this person has not provided us any info that would allow us to identify the order in question and solve the problem. If this person does not provide some details, we can only assume that this is not a legitimate complaint. It is impossible to defend ourselves from these accusations with no concrete details.

1010Tires tire quality and design issue

I have a serious issue to let you know. I purchased the four pieces Pirelli Winter Carving Edge-235/65R17XL in 1010tires.com on September 28th 2011. I brought a tires to certified technician to install on yesterday. He installed four tires and rims together and put the pressure on each tire. He put the tires aside and waiting to install to my car. Suddenly, the first tire was blasted in the garage. After one or two minute, the second tires also was blasted too. He immediate to release a pressure of the 3rd and 4nd tires. He called me and let me know. If these tires already installed to my car and driving in highway, the result was bad. Also, the technician mention that the tires was made in July 2008. I don't know the Pirelli tire quality issue or 1010tires.com have a problem.
