Insurance claim
I am not happy with the level of service I received thus far from your repair Department. Every time when I call to enquire about the repair of my vehicle they are awaiting quotes for the Machanical faults and my car is at the dealer. I called in last week the 18th of January 2019 and I was told that my car is with the engineer and still awaiting feedback. I just called in again to be told that my car will be towed for engineering.what a pathetic service, why are guys lying to your clients?
Car insurance and claim
Good day,
I submitted a claim for a vehicle accident in September. I have had to call First For Women (FFW) each time to follow up on my claim. I receive no feedback ever from them.
The Senior assessor allocated was Clyde Heneke, up til today I have had no feedback about my claim. I call every single day, and the response is always the same ' You will get all call before end of business today ':... Everyday the same story, and nobody calls me. I asked it to be escalated, it was, and even the senior who was allocated have me no feedback.
My claim should have been finalised by 27th September. I still have no idea what is going on and we're mid October already.
It's ridiculous.

Bought a brand new car last year in March another driver bumped me from behind causing car to roll on its side now car was written off its been two [censored]en weeks and no feed back wtf
Car insurance a stupid windscreen claim
My husband is the regular driver on the vehicle he went off to jhb and i was forced to drive with the vehicle and on my way to work i notice a crack in the windscreen so i phone and claim, it took them 2 weeks to tell me they not going to pay out... And every time when i want to cancel my policy with them they say no they will get someone to look over my claim again wait another week for feedback .
Please can anyone advise me which is the right insurance to use?
that actually pays out what you claim for.
I mean a stupid windscreen claim that they dont want to pay out what if i get in accident dont even want to think about really dissipointed in first for woman
Call centre
The call centre attitude is unacceptable. They claim I had an accident yet they cannot give details of the accident despite saying I had an accident - this despite me having been paid no claims bonuses and not being able to remember having had an accident.
To update a driver details or address details took 45 minutes of repeating everything including policy number, ID number, insurance history again despite having had a policy with First For Women for more than 7 years
It is pathetic that a new policy is requested when updating policy details
Increase for every call I make
I have gone through my policy document and spotted that the sales person captured the information about my car being in my house during the day hence I specified I’m at work during the day. And when I contact the call center to amend, they told me it will increase my policy!
I find it very disturbing for this policy to increase every time when amendments are made, with my previous insurance I never had any of this issues and I’m wondering if I will have to deal with policy increase with every call I make to first for women.
Service delivery
I've joined the insurance last year October but i haven't received my stickers I thought is my post that have a problem but no. I tried to provide the other postal address but still nothing the consultant that was helping me he doesn't reply my e-mails. I tried to send more e-mail complaining on the 23.03.2017 they said my towing stickers are on the way but I'm still waiting I'm really not sure if I choose the right insurance it makes me wonder if I get into the accident I will get help or not. Because it take 7 months or more to get just simple towing stickers.
Increase
I have logged a complaint with 1st for women because of their yearly increase; they told me that the retention department will phone me...to date nobody phone..and the increased amount went off...I sent my complaint in the 1st week of May...it's the 1st week of June and they haven't phoned me...not impressed with 1st for women's don't care attitude

My car was in an accident on 19 november 2014 in swellendam (Western cape) . It was undriveable and taken by first for women to bredasdorp (Matthee bakwerke) where it was left for a month without anything being done! Then it was taken to worcester (Worcester bakwerke) - where it stayed untill 16 april 2015. Thus i was without a car for 5 months! This despite the fact that i informed first for women repeatedly that i live alone, that i suffer from genetic hemochromatosis which requires that blood has to be taken from me twice a month to control the iron levels in my blood for which i needed my car and that i’m self - employed for which i also needed my car! I got a rental car for only 6 weeks (With a lot of struggle on my part) during this whole 5 month period! This is totally unacceptable and mind boggling.
From the start i was worried about the decision to fix the car rather than write it off as the latter was the opinion of independent experts obtained by me. This opinion was with a view to the damage to my car, i. E. Amongst others damage to the under - carriage, the steering arm, the right front wheel and the control arm. I was also told that these damages, if “fixed” would no doubt lead to further problems in future. First for women however, was of the opinion that they would return my car to me in perfect condition and that i would have no further problems. And as if my struggles to get my car fixed and back in my possesion was not enough, the experts’ opinion has now been proven true:
I finally got my car back after 5 months, only to have the front moulding fall off the first time it was driven and the steering wheel developing a very bad "rattle" sound shortly thereafter, both of which i reported immediately. Nothing was done and finally about 2 weeks ago the warning light for the airbag came on and my car was obviously not safe to drive. My car was only taken away for repairs by first for women on 22 june 2015 (Again i was waiting since mid - april for something to be done) , i was promised updates and a rental car but once again nothing was done and despite numerous phone calls and promises i only found out this morning (30 june 2015) that first for women received a quote for a “sleeve” in the steering wheel that has to be replaced in addition to the new moulding that have to be fitted. When my car was first “repaired” by worcester bakwerke they tried to fit pirate parts which couldn’t be made to fit which resulted that parts had to be ordered from france late in the process which contributed to the delay. As result of this i have no confidence that pirate parts will not be tried to be fitted (Or in fact be fitted) on my car again and have no confidence and trust in first for women. Despite promises i still have no rental vehicle which resulted in the fact that i am literally stranded at home in a new city where i know no one (I moved to bloemfontein in april 2015 for work purposes) . I have been without any transports since i reported the warning light for the airbag on 18 june 2015! I have no way to get to the shops, to do my work and to get to the doctor as i have to.
If you take everything into account, i have essentially been without my car / transport for 7 months!
This situation is untolerable and in my opinion breach of contract on the side of first for women and i can no longer take this treatment from you. It seems as if i cannot get proper assistance telephonically and i am therefor now writing to you as last resort.
Failure to inspect vehicle
Good day,
I have recently taken out car insurance with first for woman. but after taking it out i completely forgot to take my vehicle for inspection 24hours therafter. I also did not receive a reminder to do so even after paying two moths of installments, taking it as everything has been sorted and that i now have insurance on my vehicle. I recently had a minor accident as my car slid in the heavy rain we started having nearing the end of October 2014. as i reported the accident 24hours after it accord i then submitted the claim to the ensurance company only to find that they still await inspection. I have tried to contact my previous ensurer as they authorised repaires on my vehicle and had it completaly fixed round two months before this incident in order to have any kind of proof that my car is however in a good condition and that my does excist as said at the time of taking out the insurance. 1st for woman was quick to deduct my monthly installments and satisfied with all up until i had to actually make use of my policy. This is disappointing and unasked for.If anyone reads this and have advise about my delemma, i would like to hear from you!

Insurance claim
I just cannot understand why this has become so ridiculously worse every week.
A: My Car has not been repaired accordingly, I am still waiting for the Panel Beaters to call me to resolve the issue. My car was to be rebooked to fix the issues that were not done., Keith Promised to call me in 24 hours, it is now 20 days later. The owner of the panel beaters even acknowledge the defects and asked Keith to rebook this. What is going on?
B: I have paid the Excess and sent the proof of payment to both Jaleesa and Pieter. No one has come back to me with regards to when I will be reimbursed on this, I went through a rough time to get all the needed information and documentation to ensure that the party whom knocked onto me was liable for this excess.
C: Policy Service sends me a guarantee of service and repairs done, ARE YOU serious, my car is not fixed to what it should be, the Panel beaters took the pictures of those areas that were not even fixed.
21st of April is when I made this claim, it has taken a month to get a panel beater, and another month to fix the damages. And now I guess another month to re fix and sort out the issues. I am really upset about the service honestly.
I would like to have this resolved as soon as possible. Since I will go to the public on the events that has transpired and hope this does not happen to any other customer of yours.

Double deduct
Good day, I have given first for women numerous emails on closing my insurance with them. One month I skipped a payment, so In March 2014 they double deducted my account. They call it "admin fees".
But it is exactly the same amount as my premium. I cancelled the service in Feb 2014, but still they are taking off money from my account. This is stealing. And just because I din't have enough money to afford a lawyer they are taking advantage of me.

I received a collection notice today for a magazine which I never ordered, I have never heard of this magazine before & besides this I do not read...I have A-+ credit & this place is going to ruin it...Please see what you can do for me.
Feedback and poor service
I hit a pothole on the 1st June 2013 and i called my insurance fo assistance since well i noticed my car wadamaged, i was in witbank when the accident happened, they towed my car and couldnt even care how i will get back to Jhb, but when they sell insurance they told me if you are 100km away from home they will ensure all is sorted so that you are safe.
When i called them on monday they told me i will be dealing with Shaun who will be assisting me with my claim and providing me with feedback, and now the truth is that i provided them with contact details where they can get hold of me, still even today when i call them they have not make note of that number, i have never received a call from Shaun and his excuse was that he cald me on my other number.i am the one who always call for feedback.I called several times and leave a message buf still no one wil call me back.
I am so frustrated with first for women, after hustling day in and out to get feedback from this rude Shaun he told me my car will only be assessed within 10 working days and that is their procedure and there is nothing they can do about it, on the 13th June i called them again to check and they told me the car has assessed but they need to listen to the voice records that will determine if they will pay my claim or not, i was not even told how much is the claim until i asked them, this time i spoke to some guy called Gadaffi, who has been unhelpful as well.
To top it all after Shaun decided to approve my claim he didnt bother to call me, i had to call him again as usual to find out, luckily this time i managed to get hold of him and he told me i should be speaking with another department, not him.
I then found out that my car was booked in for repairs with an unauthorized panelbeater, i had to call them again to take the car to the authorised panelbeater, i am supposed to get feedback from my insurance but i dont get it on time and when i call them i get no answers or they tell me someone will call me back.
I am so tired with first for women, they are unprofessional and have no client service at all.
I spoke to Shaun s manager but she was just not interested at all.

Non repairs after submitting a claim
NB: I am cancelling my Insurance as of midnight today - 31st August 2012 - Policy Number [protected]. After paying this Insurance for over 4 years, I submitted a claim for dents worth less than R10 000.00. I was given a run-around - first by the Smart Insurance Guys, and thereafter by Auto & General. Instead of keeping pooring my Premiums down a bottomless pit, I am opting for coverage by another company. Thank you.

Excess rate
After more than 3 years with First For Women paying R650 per month and not claiming once! I included my cellphone into my car cover a month ago and got a letter stating my new contract details, I noticed that they had increased my excess from R2 500 to R2 750 without notifing me and small print stating that because I'm under the age of 25 I would pay an additional R1500 + on top of the normal excress price ... surely when you give your insurance company your full details they tell you your full excess cost in the event of an accident ...? I am highly disguisted on the amount of money I have already paid and I much I would need to pay in the event of an accident! Just another revolting insurance company that has made me sick to my stomach on their greed! I hope to find an insurance company that is upfront about the costs without hidden "expenses".
Claims
First for women
So i was in a vehicle accident two weeks ago. I logged my claim, the day that the accident accrued. All went smooth when I found out that the assessor is actually going out on the same day that the accident accrued. It has been two weeks in what I have not received one phone call. I have phoned the lady whom dealt with my claim about 50 times, just to know what the status are and what is going on. I am now waiting for them to get a conversation from the sales department. I have never heard of such thing. This is ridiculous, it usually takes 5 - 10 day's.
Wat is going on, you are quick to take money but when push comes to chuff why doesn't anything happen?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I am now very irritated! NOT A SINGLE SOUL shows interest in my case. This has officially turned into a nightmare. I am disgusted at how a Company of this "caliber” tend to treat their Clients. It is officially 3 weeks since they appointed an Investigator to investigate me, of which I was told that if this guy can help them repudiate this claim - he will get commission for this, and still no feedback! How scaly is this? One of the insurance Principles is Good Faith, well, let me tell you that they operate in the "shadows". No one calls me. I left my number on their online system numerous occasions, yet no response. No one calls me to inform me about the progress of their investigation, yes- in order for them to pay out they do a thorough investigation and God forbid you give an innocent wrong "answer" so DO NOT FALL for their advertisements. I need this matter to be finalised. I was even in touch with the Ombud’s office, but First4Women are very clever, they are delaying the matter so that the 30 day period can lapse.
Am i ever going to get closure on this matter?
Poor service/no feed back/lies
I had a car accident i put claim throw my insurance company first for women their response was very poor to wards my claim i received a telephone call 2 weeks later. The consultant told my that my car was a right off and that they are going to settle the fiance house and he will keep me up to date.2 minutes later he phones my back telling me give me wrong information he was looking on two screens and their was another client of theirs with the same details same name same car and same accident sounds fisher. He then told me that me husband had phoned in telling them to save the car.I kept him on the line while calling my husband and asked him if he had called them he replied no he didn't then everything after that this went wrong they never returned our calls they wer rude you could never get hold of the correct people to speak to the wanted to repair the car without our consent we are still waiting for them to call us and it has been 2 weeks already they called first for women but it is only a brand they underwriters are telesure they are only scamming women to take out insurance with them but if this is the way they are handling us women i feel very sorry for the women out their

Fraudulent retention
Good day
I made a call to 1st for women on telephone number-[protected] on the 31st March 2011 at 13h20. This was to cancel my insurance policy with policy number [protected], as I had found another insurer whose offer was appealing to me.
The first guy I got through asked the necessary security questions and reason for cancellation, said he needed to put me through to someone to finalise the cancellation.
He put me through and the guy was forcing(not convincing ) me to keep my business with 1st for women. After all the rudeness he eventually said he will not cancel till I provide proof that I’ve taken cover elsewhere. Needless to say I said he can leave it, I’ll cancel my debit order.
Minutes later I received an email confirming a change to my policy with a reduction in premium.
This breaches the :
