VitaShop.ca refuse to provide refund for wrong products

Oh what a disgusting customer service and appalling company! I just paid for $250 of vitamins from Vitashop.ca and they were shipped to me via a Freight Forwarding company to Dubai. Guess what they shipped me the wrong supplement! And now the customer service tells me " sorry can't help you"! They hang up on my calls, screen my calls and don't pick up and basically refuse to refund me for a wrong product they shipped me. I paid $70 to get a wrong product and they won't refund me. Watch out for this company! They are a bunch of crooks and thieves. Which company HANGS up on a customer when you ask to speak to a supervisor!

VitaShop.ca I never received my order

I placed an order valued at $ 449.70, in December past year. The product is Cardio Strong FLW. I told him over than one month later, it's been two and a half months and no news. No reply to my complaint on their website. I thought I could trust this company, I feel ripped off and the worst part is that I need the product to try to improve my health. Would appreciate any help to solve the problem.

They sent me a cheaper version of the supplement I ordered.
I sent them an email with a photo and the order number of the order asking what we do to fix it.
Four days later they haven't gotten back to me.

For that kind of money, I think I would be filing a small claims case against them quickly. And if credit card was used for purchase, then the interest that you pay on that amount each month should be included in the lawsuit.

VitaShop.ca Items Not Received-No Communication

I ordered $89 worth of supplements 9 days ago & they emailed that they were mailed the same day via Canada Post. They sent them regular mail not requiring they be signed for.
Canada Post show the item as delivered but it was never brought to my house.
I have tried for 48 hours to communicate with Vitashop to have them file a claim but no responses.

Its their responsibility to get product into your hands. This is easy small claims case since he cannot prove that you received product. Perhaps they should be using signature required for every order and just passing the extra $1 charge onto each customer.

VitaShop.ca False Advertising

WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY! I'm a frequent online purchaser and buy all my supplements online. I came across vitashop.ca and saw that they carry almost all the products I take on a regular basis. Being somewhat skeptical, I called their customer service number (which is not easy to find). So I call with this being the last bit of info I read on their website, "The VitaShop.ca staff is the finest in the nutritional world". Some guy answers in chinese!?! Ok no problem. I asked about a few products before purchasing them online. They did not have any of them. The man kept telling me they are sold out. Their store name is PURE CELL and I've actually been inside their. They don't have 1/10th of the stock they proclaim online! Very disappointed. It sounds like these scammers will take your money and have you chase them for the products.

I am not sure where the complaint is coming from but as a long time customer from Toronto, I do not agree with the complaint. I have never had any problems with Vitashop.ca like the person that posted the above complaint. The natural products that I order are available and if a product in the store is sold out, they order it right away from a supplier and deliver is to me in a timely manner... My orders are/were always delivered in one or two days to my doorsteps with free shipping.

I would recommend Vitashop.ca to everyone!

I ordered my items, which were to be sent without shipping costs as I ordered over a certain amount. From the time I made my purchase to when I received my order, TWELVE DAYS went by. At the time of ordering, I compared products to other online stores and everyone had the same price for the items I wanted. I always order my vitamins and protein powder online. Compared to the other online stores, Vita Shop is the slowest by far. They did respond to emails within 24-48 hours but I prefer to receive my shipment within a week. I doubt that time frame is unreasonable as my past shipments from the competitors provide that.

I have been dealing with VitaShop for about 2 years, and have never had any kind of a problem. I have never ordered anything that says it is out of stock on the website, that would be kind of foolish, but all my products have arrived within about 2-4 days, and all in order. I have received notices that my order has been received, when it has been shopped, and all tracking information. I
have been very pleased with all their products and customer service, and will continue to use them regardless of other comments. You don't know if these are legitimate customers, or competition trying to steer people away from VitaShop. Anything you order on line puts you at some risk, but as I said as long as I am getting what I ordered, not over charged, and the products are doing what they are intended to do, I will continue to use them. Thank you.

Two items out of my online order were charged, but never arrived. After repeated attempts, they refunded one. Guess the other charge is a write off. Shady business practices - steer clear!

Well for starters, it is not fraud to be out of stock on a product.
Secondly, Canada's strength is Multiculturalism. It should make no difference that a representative had a Chinese accent. You can walk down the street nearly anywhere in this nation and find an accent pretty quickly. The implication that an accent is linked to a scam is patently unfair & racist.
Lastly, Negative people are statistically more likely to leave reviews than those with positive experiences. Unfortunate but true.

I have successfully ordered from this company since they started up. They deliver quickly, offer free shipping and sell my supplements at a better price than buying them in the city. If they don't have a certain item, I can usually find it somewhere else but I realize it takes time to build up a business and their product line will expand. Their products identically match the ones bought in town and are sealed and labelled the same. I believe one cranky reviewer, without a legitimate basis for her complaints, has smeared Vitashop. You can visit their store in Toronto if you need further evidence as they offer pick up there when I am visiting my Dad. Nothing sketchy about it. As with any company, if you have an issue, call and work it out and most will make it right. Don't assume you have been ripped off. Explain you would like a credit for another product.

Well I purchased 3 products, shipped were only 2 and now after 10 days I cannot get the money back for missing product. What a shame!

Well, I never saw these complaints and placed my order anyways. Within hours received a tracking number and my items were shipped, I used to order from iherb but the last order took almost a month and was getting tired of waiting so long. This place has great prices...Dome are better than iherb! No complaints so far!

Last year while shopping for supplements I came across the VitaShop website and was pleased to see that they carried all of the items that I wanted at fairly reasonable prices.
Although I buy most of my books, clothes, shoes and other gear from online retailers, I had never ordered supplements online and was a little leery of doing so for fear of receiving expired or substandard products.
These misgivings led me to search for reviews of VitaShop. The original poster's complaint from 2011 was the first and most visible review that I came across. I was somewhat dismayed to see such a scathing review, but upon reading it a second time I realized that Margret's "review" was NOT ACTUALLY BASED ON ANY NEGATIVE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE! She has labeled this company as a bunch of scammers and thieves WITHOUT ACTUALLY BEING SCAMMED OR STOLEN FROM !
Another reviewer IMPLIED that VitaShop might be hawking inferior or counterfeit products. This comment was, like Margret's, NOT BASED ON ANY ACTUAL PURCHASE! All of the products are genuine, recognizable brand name items. A great many of the products are manufactured IN CANADA BY CANADIAN COMPANIES who would have no trouble crucifying VitaShop at the slightest hint of counterfeiting or trademark infringement.

It is very unfortunate that this review is the first one that potential customers will see when they search for reviews of VitaShop.

I ignored all of the fevered imaginings and placed my order.
I immediately received an email confirmation of my order. The confirmation was followed by an email stating that payment had been accepted. I checked my credit card account and saw that the appropriate amount had indeed been billed to me. The following day I received an email notifying me that my order had been shipped. Within minutes of the shipping notification I received an email from Canada Post at the request of VitaShop/PureCell which provided me with a tracking number, shipping information and an estimated delivery date. My order was placed, processed, billed, and in transit within 72 hours.

I received that order 5 days after placing it! I live in rural BC! PureCell is in Toronto!
My shipment arrived in EXCELLENT condition and was EXACTLY what I had ordered. The products were ALL AS DESCRIBED on the website, were all sealed and in good condition and were all well inside their best before dates.

In the intervening year I have purchased nearly $700.00 worth of dietary supplements and vitamins from VitaShop/PureCell. All of my orders have been handled promptly, billed accurately and have been in my hands within a week. There have been NO ISSUES WITH QUALITY OR CONDITION, there have been no substitutions, there have been no missing shipments.

I am a huge VitaShop fan and will continue to purchase all of my supplements from them! I would far rather deal with VitaShop than suffer the agony of dealing with local retailers who IF they actually have the products that I want will charge grossly overinflated prices.

I recently ordered from vitashop.ca and everything went without a hitch. They shipped it out less than 12 hours later and a Canada Post tracking # was emailed to me as well. Only took 7 days to get it to me.

I will definitely be ordering from them again!

Well I have received my order of Garcinia Gamgogia and I live in Australia, however, after reading all this I am now I am wondering just what is in the product I purchased, is it legitimate and if the quality is any good! I should have known better and checked before I purchased, now I am starting to think why is this product so cheap compared to some here in Australia!
