Beware of 3FatPigs.co.uk: Poor Quality Products and Disappointing Service
So, I gotta say, I came across this website called 3FatPigs.co.uk and man, oh man, was I in for a surprise. At first glance, their advert seemed all shiny and positive, with loads of good reviews and whatnot. But let me tell ya, don't be fooled by all that glitz and glamour. Do yourself a favor and do a bit of research before you go ahead and place an order.
Now, let me spill the beans on my personal experience. I ordered a tree from these guys, and boy, was I disappointed. When it finally arrived, I noticed it had only three branches. And get this, one of those branches already had a big ol' wound on it! Can you believe that? And what did they have the audacity to tell me? They actually had the nerve to suggest that I remove the wounded branch myself. Like, seriously? That's their solution?
Well, let me tell ya, I followed their advice and removed the wounded branch. And now, guess what? This poor excuse for a tree can barely stand up on its own. It's like a wobbly mess, I tell ya. And as if that wasn't bad enough, I highly doubt this tree will ever bear any fruit without toppling over. It's just a sad, sad sight.
Honestly, I gotta say, this whole experience with 3FatPigs.co.uk has been a real letdown. I mean, come on, guys, you can do better than this. The quality of their products is really, really poor. So, take my advice and steer clear of this place. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Exceptional Service and Attention to Detail - 5 Stars for 3FatPigs.co.uk!
The service at 3FatPigs.co.uk is absolutely top-notch, and they pay great attention to detail! The plants I ordered arrived in fantastic condition, snugly nestled in thick straw bedding to ensure they endured the journey without any harm. They even went the extra mile by securing my tree in the carton so it wouldn't budge and risk any damage to its branches.
I must say, I am truly impressed by the level of care they put into ensuring my satisfaction with the purchase. It's evident that they genuinely care about their customers.
I give them a solid five-star rating! Thank you, 3FatPigs.co.uk!
Disappointing Plant and Unhelpful Customer Service: A Warning about 3FatPigs.co.uk
So, I gotta tell ya, this plant I ordered from 3FatPigs.co.uk was a real disappointment, ya know? When it finally showed up, it was like this sad little twig with dead buds all over it. I mean, seriously, it looked like it had seen better days, ya feel me?
So, I did what any normal person would do, I snapped a photo of this sorry excuse for a plant and sent it over to Beechwood customer service. And you know what they had the nerve to say? They had the audacity to tell me that this sad excuse for a plant was actually a good healthy one. Can you believe that? I mean, come on, they must be blind or something, 'cause there's no way this plant was healthy.
But here's the real kicker, folks. Not only were they blind, but their attitude was just plain unhelpful and unfriendly. Like, seriously, what kind of customer service is that? I ain't never gonna use this supplier again, and I sure as heck ain't gonna recommend them to anyone else. No way, no how.
Now, I get it, sending plants through the mail can be a bit tricky. Mother Nature can be a real pain sometimes, ya know? But that don't excuse the poor attitude and lousy service I experienced here. I mean, c'mon, they could've at least tried to make things right or show a little bit of empathy. But nope, they just brushed me off like I was some kind of nuisance.
So, folks, take it from me, stay far away from 3FatPigs.co.uk. Their plants may be a real letdown, and their customer service ain't worth a dime. Save yourself the trouble and find a better supplier who actually cares about their customers. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Disappointing Quality and Poor Customer Service: A Review of 3FatPigs.co.uk's Escallonia Shrubs
So, I ordered a bunch of Escallonia shrubs from 3FatPigs.co.uk, and let me tell you, the pictures on their website made those plants look top-notch. But boy, was I in for a surprise when I received them. The quality of the plants I got was just plain disappointing.
Now, here's the kicker. It seems like all of these plants have this thing called escallonia leaf spot. Yeah, it's some kind of fungal infection that can straight-up kill these poor plants. I mean, seriously? I was hoping to have a beautiful garden, not a graveyard for shrubs.
In a desperate attempt to save these plants, I decided to repot them. Maybe, just maybe, they'll have a fighting chance at survival. But let me tell you, this company hasn't been helpful at all. Their response? Oh, just trim them back. Yeah, like that's gonna solve everything. And in their latest reply, they had the audacity to suggest that I should send the plants back. But hey, guess what? I already repotted them, as I clearly mentioned in my messages.
Now, I'm stuck playing the waiting game. Every single day, I check on these poor shrubs, hoping against hope that they'll make it through. It's a sad sight, really. The plants are suffering, and the service from 3FatPigs.co.uk is just as pitiful.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with both the plants and the customer service. It's a real shame, you know? I had high hopes for my garden, but now it's just a sad reminder of what could have been.
Buyer Beware: 3FatPigs.co.uk - Unresponsive, Insulting, and Unreliable
So, I bought these 50 hawthorn trees from 3FatPigs.co.uk on eBay, right? They arrived on the 10th of February, and I wasted no time in planting them by the 1st of March. But let me tell you, things didn't go as smoothly as I hoped.
By the 6th of April, I noticed that these trees showed absolutely no signs of life. I mean, nada, zip, zero! So, I decided to reach out to the folks at 3FatPigs.co.uk and let them know about my predicament. I sent them a message, expressing my concerns. But guess what? They didn't seem too bothered.
I waited patiently, hoping for a helpful response. But it wasn't until the 29th of April that I heard back from them. And what did they have to say? Well, they had the audacity to tell me that the plants were just "dormant" and that I should be patient. Can you believe that? I mean, come on, it had been over a month already!
Feeling frustrated, I decided to give it a little more time. Maybe, just maybe, these trees would miraculously spring back to life. But, alas, that was not the case. On the 20th of May, I finally reached my breaking point. I had had enough of these lifeless hawthorn trees, and I demanded a refund.
But guess what? Instead of understanding my frustration, they had the nerve to insult me! They had the audacity to call me an idiot for planting the trees where I did. Can you believe it? They even had the gall to say that there's no refund for incompetence! Talk about adding insult to injury.
Let me tell you, folks, buying from 3FatPigs.co.uk is a risky business. They'll gladly take your hard-earned money and sell you nothing but rubbish. And if you dare to complain or ask for a refund, they'll insult you and make you feel like it's all your fault. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle.
So, my advice to you is simple: avoid 3FatPigs.co.uk like the plague. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable seller. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Terrible Customer Service and Shoddy Products at 3FatPigs.co.uk - Stay Away!
The customer service at 3FatPigs.co.uk is absolutely terrible, mate. I mean, it's like they don't even care about their customers or the quality of their products. I wouldn't touch this place with a ten-foot pole, I'm telling ya. You gotta read the reviews before you even think about ordering from them.
So, get this. I decided to order a couple of these so-called "6-8 foot" silver birch trees from them. What do I get? A couple of dead twigs that are barely 5ft tall. I mean, seriously? Is this some kind of sick joke? I was fuming, mate.
Now, I'm not one to back down easily, so I tried to contact the company not once, not twice, but three times. And what do I get? Ignored. Completely ignored. Can you believe it? It's like they don't even care about their customers or their concerns.
But wait, it gets even better. Months later, I finally get an email from them. And guess what? It's not an apology or an explanation. Oh no, it's an abusive email. Can you believe the audacity? I couldn't believe my eyes when I read it. I was absolutely gobsmacked.
Well, let me tell you, I'm not gonna let them get away with this. I'm taking this matter up with trading standards and the small claims court. I want my money back, and I want them to be held accountable for their shoddy products and terrible customer service.
These trees were not as described, mate. They were not fit for purpose, not durable, and definitely not of the expected quality. It's a complete rip-off, if you ask me. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Save your hard-earned cash and stay far away from this place.
Oh, and here's the cherry on top. I received an unsolicited, abusive message from the company. Can you believe the nerve? I added it to my review so that everyone can see what kind of people they're dealing with. It's absolutely disgraceful.
So, take my advice, mate. Avoid 3FatPigs.co.uk like the plague. You'll thank me later.
Disappointing Experience with 3FatPigs.co.uk: Wrong Trees, No Refund, and Poor Customer Service
So, I gotta tell ya about my experience with this website called 3FatPigs.co.uk. Now, I ain't no expert when it comes to buying trees, but I thought I'd give it a shot and see what they had to offer. I ended up gettin' a bunch of young trees from their eBay store, which goes by three different names - 3 Fat Pigs, Beechwood Trees, and Beechwood Nurseries. It's all the same place, just so ya know.
Now, here's where things went a bit pear-shaped. When the package arrived, I was all excited to see my new trees, but guess what? They sent me the wrong ones! Instead of the Salix Caprea trees that I ordered, I got these Salix Fragilis ones. I mean, come on! How hard is it to get the right trees, right? But here's the kicker - since the trees were all snoozin' when they arrived, I couldn't even tell they were the wrong ones until their leaves started poppin' out. By then, it was too late to get a refund through eBay 'cause the time had run out. Bummer, right?
But wait, there's more! One of the trees I got, a birch tree, didn't make it. It arrived all dormant and stuff, and it never even bothered to sprout any leaves. Talk about a disappointment! I tried reachin' out to the seller, both through eBay messages and good ol' email, but guess what? They never got back to me. It's been months now, and I'm still waitin' for a response. Ain't that just great?
Now, I ain't the only one who's had a bad experience with these folks. I did a little Google search, and turns out there are plenty of other unhappy customers out there. So, take it from me, folks - if you're lookin' for some trees, you might wanna steer clear of 3FatPigs.co.uk. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Terrible Experience with 3FatPigs.co.uk: Substandard Plants and Appalling Customer Service
I really wish I had read these reviews before I bought from 3FatPigs.co.uk. Let me tell you, their plants are sub standard and their customer service is just appalling. I ordered 250 bare root hedging plants, ranging from 2ft to 3ft in height. When the parcel arrived, I couldn't believe how small it was. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that a whopping 160 plants were actually less than 2ft tall. Can you believe it? And to make matters worse, around 70 of them were just over 1ft tall.
I immediately emailed them to express my dissatisfaction. Now, keep in mind that these plants need to be dealt with quickly. But guess what? I didn't receive any response for a whole 3 days. So, I decided to give them a call not once, but twice. Finally, on the 4th day, I received a brief email from a guy named Robert. No apologies, no explanation, just a one liner telling me that if I wasn't happy, I could send the plants back.
I wasn't satisfied with this response, so I asked for a returns label or suggested that they replace the 160 plants that were too small. Another 4 days went by, and I had to chase them up again by phone. Eventually, I received another one line email, which was exactly the same as the previous one. Can you believe the audacity?
I really regret not paying attention to the various review platforms before placing my order. The plants were sub standard and the customer service was absolutely abysmal. I strongly advise you to avoid this company at all costs.
Warning: Avoid Purchasing from 3FatPigs/Beechwoodtrees on Ebay - Poor Quality, Unhelpful Customer Service
3FatPigs, also known as Beechwoodtrees on Ebay, is a company that I strongly advise against purchasing from. Instead, I recommend exploring the numerous other nurseries available that offer quality products, excellent aftercare, and a commitment to resolving any issues that may arise.
My personal experience with 3FatPigs was less than satisfactory. I decided to purchase a bare root Quince tree through Ebay from this company, but unfortunately, the tree arrived without any protection for its delicate roots and was poorly packaged. Despite planting the tree correctly, providing support with stakes, and ensuring it remained adequately moist, the Quince tree showed no signs of life as spring came and went.
In my attempt to seek assistance, I contacted Beechwoodtrees and was informed that the lack of growth was due to the cold weather and that there was no cause for concern. However, as time passed, I reached out to them once again, only to be told that the tree would be in full leaf within three weeks. Disappointingly, nothing happened, and my efforts to communicate with Beechwoodtrees were met with unhelpful responses. I even sent them photographs of the lifeless Quince tree, but they simply replied that there was green on the tree, implying that it was perfectly fine. It was perplexing because the pictures I shared clearly depicted a completely dead tree. It became apparent that they were intentionally delaying any resolution, as they knew that after 30 days from the purchase, I would no longer be able to make a claim through Ebay. Consequently, they began ignoring my emails, leaving me as the unfortunate loser in this situation.
If you doubt my experience, I encourage you to explore other review sites where you will find that Trust Pilot rates Beechwoodtrees at a disappointing 60% in terms of negative reviews. It is crucial to heed this warning and refrain from making any purchases from Beechwoodtrees on Ebay.
Appalling Customer Service and Foul Language: My Experience with 3fatpigs (Beechwood Trees)
I left the below review on another site and was gonna leave it at that. However after the appaling insults thrown at me today I've updated my review, contacted the reviewing media with a complaint, evidenced the purchase, evidenced the insults and am considering taking action over the foul language made by a company that appears to have upset too many people. Have a read and form your own opinion.
Early June 2019.
Im not a business just a customer that paid ?24-99 for a Granny Smiths tree from these people.
I purchased this tree just over a week ago and when it arrived it looked almost dead. The leaves were brown, it was spindly and the way it was shipped was shocking (although I dont know a better way to ship it) It was a shocking specimen and nothing like the advert portrayed. I realise theres always a difference between advertising and the actual item but really...
Anyway we planted it on the day we received it and kept our fingers crossed. Within 48hrs the tree started to display black spots as well so we got someone to look at it and they confirmed it had a fungus infection so we spent more money to try and save/treat it.
I contacted 3fatpigs (T/A Beechwood Trees) by email and got a response back within 24hrs. I was told to forward a photograph to them. This I immediately did and they responded telling me there was nothing wrong, there was no black spots, they have their stock regularly checked and basically giving me the "go away" vibe.
So I now have a tree that we are trying to save, Ive had to purchase treatments for this tree and I paid ?24-99 for the pleasure.
Adding insult to injury 3fatpigs sent me an email asking me to review the transaction with them so I answered honestly and politely but didnt pull any puches. After vetting the review they failed to print it... what a surprise.
I have no idea what response they may now leave to the feedback Ive left here but all of the above is 100% true, I have a trail from the point of purchases to leaving this feedback to evidence the above and I certainly do NOT recommend doing business with this crowd... please give me my money back!
10/7/19
Ive just received a response to this review from 3fatpigs which I believe is not visible to the public.
The response read "Youre a lying a... e" I think that speaks for itself. Ive also noticed they have used the above terminology towards other reviewers so Im contemplating reporting them for foul language and intimidating behavior.
I wish Id read the other reviews before I purchased from these people.
I also note my review is under investigation on the grounds that its a fake review (along with numerous others) As stated above I can evidence the item was purchased, show the payment details and confirm the conversations I had with a 3fatpigs employee... twice.

But wait, it gets even better. After goin' back and forth, they finally admitted that the tree was indeed theirs. But get this, they had the nerve to blame me for its demise.
