Scheduled a move and was told by Rob that if I cancel within 7 days I would get my deposit back
Scheduled a move and was told by Rob that if I cancel within 7 days I would get my deposit back. Turns out they weasel this into the contract that there is a $50 fee that is NON-REFUNDABLE no matter if you cancel before the 7 days. Very scammy and shady. Be careful.
We hired AAA Movers because of an ad we heard on KQRS
We hired AAA Movers because of an ad we heard on KQRS. They sounded like a reputable company so we hired them to move us. It ended up to be a bad experience. They did not wrap any of our items in plastic wrap. We would have thought they would at least wrap the furniture. My husband did not see anything strapped to the wall of the truck and they did not use packing quilts in between the furniture. When everything was unloaded, we found a lot of nicks and rub marks in our nice furniture, and there was a chunk that was broken off behind the entertainment center. We are very disappointed, and will not recommend this ,company to our family and friends.
We had AAA Movers remove items from our home during our remodel and move the furniture back into our home after the project was completed. When the movers returned our furniture for our main level, we found video on our home video camera system of one of the men in our basement taking pictures. Upon confronting the person that was taking pictures, we found that the individual took pictures of every room in our home including places of entry such as windows/doors in our basement etc. When we showed the manager what had happened, he did fire the individual and said he would refund us our entire move which months later, he did not do after we had several conversations with him. We would not recommend AAA Movers to others due our truly unprofessional experience.
I am a senior citizen. I made the mistake of using AAA Movers, Inc. In planning my move with Valerie Newman, sales manager, she made it sound like everything would be wonderful. The end result of the move has been a nightmare. I moved six weeks ago, May 19 after realizing that one box of my china was missing and three china pieces arrived broken. Also Valerie talked me into paying $ 600 for extra insurance coverage. After numerous phone calls to Valerie trying to get a claim started all efforts have failed. I still do not have a start to claiming this loss. Now, Valeria does not even answer my calls or return my calls. I am definitely a senior citizen who has been treated with no respect or consideration. I am not in the position where I can replace these items. My advice to the general public is do NOT use AAA Movers, Inc.
2 different experiences. My first experience was perfect. The sales guy Justin set my move up, confirmed everything via email right away. The movers ended up 3 hours late due to their first customer's disorganization. This experience was over a year ago. I would have given a 5 star review. This weekend was a nightmare. Justin handled the quote again. This time he didn't pay attention to my emails ot even listen during my phone calls. I requested 3 guys and a larger truck. I even called him, emailed him.. got another person Kamil to contact him. I never got a response. I wanted to get the paperwork to add my items to the bill of lading so my items were covered. I was charged for items I didn't need like mattress protectors for 2 beds. I have one bed. I was charged for moving boxes for 2 TVs. The guys brought cardboard and a blanket. There were no boxes. There ended up being only 2 guys who had a small truck. Needless to say, it meant I literally was moving boxes and furniture alongside them for 7.5 hours. I have spinal degeneration in my back in which I'm getting epidural steroid injections for. I paid over 1300 with tip for these guys. I did just as much work. I have a compromised immune system. We were all lifting furniture and unwrapping furniture maskless, sweatting side by side. The truck was so packed I had damaged furniture and a destroyed bookcase. I don't blame the 2 independent contractors because they were given the wrong information and told to do the job well. They were so tired after 7.5 hrs they forgot the business apple ipad at my house. No one has bothered to come get it for multiple phone calls to them.

Do not use if you are moving your items to storage
Do not use if you are moving your items to storage. They are not equipped for this but will tell you they are. They forgot a mattress bag that was clearly needed then put that mattress where I could not reach it place in plastic myself without moving a lot of other items. They told me they had extra time. So, I had them move a few additional smaller items that did not need to be wrapped. They did not wrapped all the framed items on walls which I was told would be properly wrapped for long term storage. One of the movers told me he was new and was given no training. The movers did not help one another. It was scary to see them move larger items alone. This was stressful and very expensive for the level of service I received. This was my first bad experience with a moving company.

I am forced to record at least one star, otherwise the site doesn't let me review this business
I am forced to record at least one star, otherwise the site doesn't let me review this business. If there was an option to provide negative stars, I would. This is not a trust worthy business. Extremely fast talking sales representative. I was given a price of $1700 for moving 4 bed room home. I was told there will be six member team with two trucks to complete the move. When the team showed up, there were 6 guys, but with one truck. They took two days to move my stuff. It ended up costing me $3500. I was repeatedly told that movers are given incentive to complete the move under the listed amount. But the team didn't care about time it took nor did they care about my belongings. Every furniture was left broken or improperly assembled. The movers propped up some of the furniture to look like they have been assembled. AAA send someone to house to fix what they could. They expected me to be without dinning table or bed until one of their repair tech could come and patch up what was broken. Check your contract multiple times before you commit. check every furniture that is delivered before you let the movers go.

In Late August , we contracted with AAA moves to move our household property from Ham Lake MN to Grasston
In Late August , we contracted with AAA moves to move our household property from Ham Lake MN to Grasston. Upon arrival and unloading of our property, the driver ran over our sidewalk and cracked the concrete. Since September , I have been trying to have them repair the damage done. They were unsuccessful in finding someone to come quote the job and with winter approaching, it made sense to wait until spring 2020. I have since then, sent the company several businesses that would provide a quote. With receiving no word from them, I received a quote from a local company for $900 to repair the damage. I sent this quote to AAA and asked how they would like me to proceed. I am getting zero response from them.

I hired AAA Moving to load my Uhaul truck
I hired AAA Moving to load my Uhaul truck. I was asked what square footage my house was and how many bedrooms. I was talked into a higher hourly rate for 3 moving helpers to load vs the 2 I had normally used the last 7 times I had moved (in 8 years). I was told it would go quicker. Below is part of what I experienced with this company: *I could not close my Uhaul door due to how they packed it. *They did not wrap 50% of my furniture because they ran out of tape. *They took twice as long as 2 loaders in previous moves even though 90% of my boxes I put in the garage *They put fragile boxes on the floor and piled heavy boxes on top *They broke a marble coffee table top *I had several boxes marked that I wanted to load last because my items were going to off load to 2 places. They completely disregarded my instructions and everything was scattered throughout the truck which cost me more with my unloading help due to this. When I called to try to have an intelligent conversation about my experience with Mariah Enger I was met with disdain and rudeness. It was 5pm on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend, I was just asking for her to send back some other loaders so they could repack the back of the truck so I could at least close it. She spoke over me and just kept saying I never supplied an inventory list. When I told her I was never asked for one she basically called me a liar. I also said I did not understand what that had to due with me not being able to close the truck and she ignored me and said they would not help. They did not perform the services that I hired them to do. I should have been able to close my truck not to mention get all of my belongings in. In addition, it took my sister and I several hours to offload and reload the back of the truck and we hired them so we could just get in the truck and leave for CO. We were able to fit it a lot more of my belongings, including a kayak, and we are not professionals. I feel completely ripped off by this company.
