stolen merchandise/harassment
I am constantly being harassed by the name of C.J. at the Aaron's in McComb, MS. I have requested to speak to another member of management and was told I couldn't and he started screaming in the phone at me. I requested that this member not call my phone again. He called me 3 times in a row after this request on yesterday. Today, he had another employees to call me by the name of Trina and again I was greeted with rudeness and bullying behaviors. I have also called the corporate office, spoke with a general manager at the Jackson, MS office and submitted an e-mail regarding ongoing bullying and harassment. The regional manager has not contacted me to this day.

I am absolutely disgusted at the moment with this company. I have been buy to own at a arron's in new orleans, la for over a year now. I recently moved and had to change my bank from one to another due to location issues. Since I changed my "banks" they are now refusing to take my payment! The employees told me it is due to the type of "bank" card I have, which is absolutely ridiculous. The manager was rude to no end, suggesting that I just come in with cash to pay. Screw your company and him. I'm a single mother with two kids that has very little time to go to my "bank" where I put my money in to save time and pay my bills via monthly through this account, just tot take it out for this company. It's a terrible policy that this company has. I could have a pre-paid "vanilla" card that can upload money at a walgreen's and you will take my payment (i'm assuming, I always used my bank card), yet the company will not take a "chase" card? I will suggest to every person I ever meet for the rest of this companies life. (i'm sure I will out live the company) to never purchase from them, whatsoever. The sad thing about the whole ordeal was I could have paid off my appliance tonight, in full. They get their money, I get my fridge. (that by the way was missing it's light cover and the handle broke 3 weeks after it was installed. It's okay, though. I've learned my lesson. Now to make it a personal mission to let every person I know and or meet to never deal with the company, ever.

Today 2/5/2018 I went to do my first payment of my washer and dryer machine that I had open a new contract on December because I just received a coupon on the mail about up to $50off on your first payment I need it a washer machine so why not I had a set of recliners pay off never pay late not even one payment late and never had a problem with customer service there before until today the person that did my contract on December told me I can use that coupon on my first payment on February baceuse I didnt need it on December due that they push all new contracts to pay on the first on February . I went to pay using the coupon but the associate wilda give me an attitude and said I can't use that because was for a new contract I tried to explain her the washer and dryer was a new contract and the person that open my contract told me I can use my coupon for my first payment she called the store manager Christ completely disrespectful told me if I'm crazy because I can't use that she ask me who told me that I told her the person that did my contract she said why I don't know the name I describe him and she said she don't know who I'm talking about I told her I know you can see who did my contract so that same person told me that she said I'm crazy and what the [censor] I was looking at! Yes just like that ! In others words ghetto ! I told her wasn't my fault they give me the wrong information or advertise and that I will like to use my coupon from them that I received on the mail. She said if I was so tough I would it pay my bill that if not she will take away the washer and dryer because are hers and she's the store managers and start laughing I told her ok then she said she will call the cops if I don't open the door I explain her my problems is not making my payment is her nasty attitude so I pay it because I'm in the middle of the process of my house and I can't afford nothing negative goin on my credit on my way to the door they where both laughing like everything was a joke. Believe me if I wasn't on the middle of the process of the house I would it tell her to pick them up because wasn't goin to be my lost everything once is use can't be sell with the same price as new. I told her as soon and pay this off I wouldn't NEVER EVER get anything else from them!
unauthorized payment
I have an account open with the arrons. I was behind on my payment and the staff took it upon themselves to take the money off of a card that I used 4 months ago. The payment was not only unauthorized but the card was not mines. The card belonged to a friend who paid my account ONE TIME. To make matters worse they took out more than what my account balance was. My payment is 74.00 a month, they took $100 off the card. That was Jan 13, 2018.I called and they said it was an accident and then they reversed the charge. Two weeks later January 27 they did it again on the same card that was NOT my card but this time they took out $84.00. My friend was upset and went to the store located in San Bernardino on highland and demanded they return his money. They stated that his card was the only card on file ( which should not have been as the payment was a one time payment) and a different card had been used sinced oct 2017. They reluctantly said they would put the money on his card. As of today Feb 1 2028. The money has not been returned. Now today feb 1 2018 the same store took an unauthorized payment from MY personal debit card.
We are in the process of seeking legal help as this practice is illegal. The store continues to lie and steal just to get payments. Please contact me as soon as possible

bought livingroom and bedroom set ..bedroom bed has one of the upperlegs that came off..after 3 schedulles with store nobody ever came..that implied me or my wife staying home waiting..what seems to be a easy job is showing lack of responsability from someone..never the less to say that one day while at work with wife the store decided to send someone to fix the bed..please someone take over this..thank you

I have a complaint regarding a store. I live in Springfield MA. The store I am calling in regards to is in the Hampden county area. I have been receiving calls regarding merchandise that my ex-girlfriend purchased. I have been receiving harassing calls. They have gone even as far as to start harassing my mother, who has nothing to do with the item. Somehow the local store got her home and work number even though it was never given to them.
I wrote a complaint before because an Aaron's employee came to my house while I wasn't there and they broke my front door. I still need someone to pay for the door they broke.
My ex-girlfriend purchased the item. I would like them to stop harassing my mother and calling her job. She is an old lady and has nothing to do with any of this. I would also like the money reimbursed to her for the door they broke while trying to enter my home.

I was a former employee with Aarons Sales and Lease as of January 20th 2018. During that time, I've had the assistant manager pour glass cleaner im my coffee in wich i became ill he would also mess with my schedule and the upper management would laugh when I would sit out in the parking lot and ask why no one else was showing up and then text me things like "lol f...ing [censor]...The work place was hostile when i was fired without any write ups the store manager physically and bodily forced me out of the store not allowing me to gather my personal belongings along with a whole list of other violations I feel like I was wrongfully terminated and assaulted when I asked for the franchise owners contact information he refused to give it to me and told me I could just find it online

On December 30, 2018 I contacted Aaron's store located at 935 Wimberly Drive SW, Decatur, AL I stated to leslie I no longer needed the washer and dryer an that i'll like to look at some furniture, she stated that'll give me a call for pick up due to the drivers being booked an the holidays, which that was fine, until Jan. 3rd, 2018 the store still took my payment off my card through auto pay after i stated to her I didn't want the washer and dryer this month, when I called to get my refund, leslie stated to me they don't give refunds, so I been trying to work with them instead of filing a complaint. when I asked about the gift card I received in the mail as well as my email for the $5 start up fee, leslie stated to me I couldn't use it an have my money credited to my account even if I was starting a new agreement, an if I did use my gift card she stated I will not receive a credit on my account for the store taking my money through auto pay when I called on the 30rd of December an stated I no longer need the washer and dryer, I informed the employee that I didnt need it in the month of January before my payment was due. now they have the washer and dryer an still hav'nt refund my money. I attempted to contact multiple times as well as emailing 3 times, I will hate to contact BBB concerning this situation, its been 7 days an no one has contacted to resolve this issue, I just want the regional manager or someone to listen to the recordings and refund what's owed to me. that's all.

I'm beyond furious I originally purchased a bundle TV deal for a 50 inch and a 40inch Tv's last year it was December 8, 2016..I paid and signed agreement didn't receive Tv's for 5 weeks after my purchase date.They never gave us credit for that time we were just out they said..So I'm 2 payments from paying my please off and were a Lil behind they have harassed us daily tonight they blocked my driveway until we gave them a TV so as of right now we only gave 1 IV and we paid over $1800 ...I'm beyond disgusted with the women who came here and has been harassing my entire family I will contact corporate office I want to file a complaint

I appreciated reading your complaint. Although I've got to admit it was a little difficult to decipher. I would have taken a little more time to write it properly. I wouldn't normally consider myself nitpicky about grammar or spelling, but when it gets bad enough that the jest of the complaint becomes difficult to read, it's worth bringing up.
It seems the crux of the problem is that you were behind on payments, even to the point where they had already been contacting you about the debt. I'm not a big fan of these rent-to-own places. I think it would be wiser to just save until you have enough to purchase the product outright at a more reasonable price. However, if that was the contract you entered into, than you should have been willing to abide by it. It was nice they left you with one of the two televisions. Which TV did they leave you with? Brand? Model? Do you still have payments to make on it?

The customer service I just received from management was awful! The manager named Travis Nash at 1856 S Lake Dr. Suite H Lexington SC 29073 is a disgrace to management in the customer service field. I am a previous customer of the store and paid my account in full 2 years ago. The questioning and attitude of that manager blew me away. I was all signed up and ready to lease a washing machine and due to his lack of hospitality, consideration and attitude, no deal was done. He is very rude, racist, unenthusiastic, lack all qualifications as a manager. The store associates were great but also expressed that he is very hard to work for. He was more so for not doing the deal as though we really needed to get the washer from them which is not the case. He barely wanted to come out the office to answer any questions we may have about the previous washer set I purchased. He was no help, I dont understand how he received this position as manager. From being a previous customer and paid the bill in full you would think that he would jump through hoops to get me what I want without a problem, but that was not the case. I will NOT be visiting this store EVER again, especially if Travis Nash is the manager. This store would make a lot of money, but Im sure Travis would only run them off like he did me and my husband.

I completed a lease agreement online and paid with my credit card on 11/24/17 I tried numerous times to get my laptop delivered and they wouldn't..today 12/21/17 I went to the Summerville Ga store to pick up my laptop when I was there they informed me that since they couldn't contact my boss on his cell phone that they weren't giving me the laptop and they clearly have the office number to my place of employment I don't have my merchandise

On 12/4/2017 Angel Aponte an employee from 2801 3rd ave Bronx NY 10455 visited my home due to a late payment I was not home when I came home the next day I found a blue slip taped by my mailbox with my name and apartment number and he also left one on my door I think that's not professional I understand the one on my door but the one in the lobby of where I live is unexceptable to have everybody in my business due to a late payment I went to the store where I rented my furniture and asked them to please come pick up the furniture because I no longer want to deal with them ...such a bad experience

Hi my name is Shavonne Ayala I had sent my mother in to pay my bill at Arron's in Uvalde Tx store because I had other stuff to do and when she went in the store manager (Don't know his name)was very rude to her because my payment was not complete my husband thought it was only $100 but come to find out it we were missing $8 and the manager just jumped down my mothers throats about it he didn't have to talk to her the way he did he could've spoken to her differently but he choice to be very very rude my mother was very upset about it and he told her that the next time my payment wasn't complete he was going to come pick up the merchandise! She was also going to purchase some stuff at the store but once she saw how rude he was to his customers she decided not to do because of him one less customer you have lost and once I pay my merchandise off I'll never go back to that store again.
my furniture not being delivered as scheduled twice with no notice
My delivery was set up for last Thursday..from 10-2 I waited the whole time I called they said to me it was changed so they never told me ok so I rescheduled for today the 20th they said same time 10-2. I called to confirm..they said we changed the time 4-8 ok you were not going to call me to tell me this was happening..so know it's 8:19pm I have not heard anything from anyone at aarons I've waited all day today as well this is ridiculous this is not how you run a business I have guest coming for thanksgiving I have to prepare my home..aarons don't seem to care I can take my business elsewhere I have never worked with such unprofessionalism in my life.

I have previously rented from Aarons in Mchenry, Il back in 2014. I had completed the contract and paid the device in full. Now I have had the occasional issue of being late on a few occasions all for less than a month late but always caught up.
This current contract I have was issued, per employee Brett, because i previously had an account with Aarons. I made sure to let them know that I only get paid on the 7th and 22nd of each month because that is how the company I work for operates and recently I started working overnight.
Because of a medical issue I had to pay out of pocket for my medication, that if I didn't pay for would cause major health issues. I ended up being late for October and November.
Again because I work overnight I sleep during the day. So I did not answer the door and the only reason i knew Aarons stopped by was because the left notes, that I had to clean off the residue or my landlord was going to charge me for maintenance cleaning the residue from the notes off my door.
Since I wake up at 9pm at night and sleep at 630am I did not answer any calls because my phone was on silent. I had previously sent emails and responses stating that the payment would be on the 22nd of November, I received incompetent and insulting responses.
Incompetent because I had repeatedly explain that the full payment, including fees I still believe I should not be paying, would be paid, but also insulting because it felt like my previous contract that I completed successfully had no merit to my credibility to make payments. Even though i was previously told that the only reason i was given the new contract was because I was a returning customer.

We have been a long time customer of Aarons with very little problems. However since we rented our dryer with Aarons we have had to send it in 3 times.. while we were renting the dryer we had no problems fixing it.. but since we paid it off they said they covered it for 2 mos after.. well it broke... Aarons sent it in but said we had to pay a month of rental for a replacement dryer. We have had the replacement dryer over a month now and when we called to make a payment on our refrigerator they say we have to pay for another month.. and that our dryer is gonna cost 400 and they won't cover it because customer damage .. each time dryer was installed your employees hooked up ventilation and they never said there was a problem with it .. now they are saying that's what caused it.. they wanna give me an old dryer that doesn't match the washer or we have to pay the 400 dollars neither of which is a fair choice.. this shouldn't be what coverage means.. never had any problems before it was paid off .. this is what being a loyal customer gets you.. terrible customer service!

You didn't greet us, you got up when the mix couple came in, a customer called in and you were very rude to them, so you already showed me how you rolled, but I gave you a chance anyway. Who and the hell heard of, if your on Retirement Disability with your minor children that has an allowance because you work half your life, they tell you, can't use your children it's not your income. Please explain to me how the hell not? I birth them, they are minors, It's my money that I work for. So what are my children aliens? When my money hit, it's all direct deposit in my account. You can't tell me what to do with my money that I'm raising my children with, that's benefiting them.. So yes indeed he got Disrespected in his little franchise store. I'm sick of being discriminated against because I'm phat, and on Disability. I'm not letting this rest at all. Everybody going to hear about this. I was told to go to corporate and complain. Well I'll do that, but if they don't do nothing then them humans is getting Disrespected too. I got a lot of choice words, and don't tell me not to use it when I'm being Disrespected and discriminated against. I'm completely piss off at 4:18 in the morning. I careless about this fake Community work, pictures what ever you call it. Instead of you being all in the open with customers in the store about my business, why didn't you take me in the back like your employer told us you would do? I think that piss me off even more. This guy goes straight into I need my money, like I'm not tryna pay my payment which not the whole but an half. But he was just so rude and nasty with no type of help. He claims to be the account manger saying there's nothing nobody can do because there's nobody over him.
