To Whom It May Concern;
Friday, October 20th, 2017, I called my local Aaron's to ask them my due date as I had not heard from them this month, I spoke with Megan who informed me that they had already taken my payment out of my bank account, something I NEVER gave them permission to do, I asked to speak with the General Manager Brian but instead was passed to a very hateful woman named Lisa, who was absolutely no help and rude. I called my bank to see what I could do about the situation but since it had already gone through my bank said the only thing I could do is file a dispute for them taking money without permission, my payment was due and I wasnt saying it wasn't so i went ahead and let them keep that and just paid the extra 28.00 my bank charged me for the overdraft they caused, I went to the store in person and had Lisa type up something saying that this would not happen again, but of course only after she told me I had agreed verbally to this transaction, I carefully explained to her (using small words for her convenience) that they had NEVER called me to even tell me it was due much less to get a payment arrangement, Lisa quite literally rolled her eyes, huffed and gave me the paper I was requesting. I have paid out a couch, loveseat, ottoman, a 50 inch tv, a 40 inch tv, and a playstation 4, with this company in the past 2 years and have always had great experiences with no late payments until last month, (which i called ahead of time and asked permission to be late) but this Lisa woman is the most unprofessional woman I have ever came in contact with at a business, which is saying something because I am a loan office by profession.

My husband and I have a contract with Aaron's. Our co tract originally started at the Chelten store in Philadelphia Pa. we were never notified that this store would be closing and our account would be going to another location. When I noticed that our payment had not been taken out I called the number that had been calling my phone. I spoke with a women at the new location located on Adams Ave unit 24 in Philadelphia PA. When I asked her why we had not received anything stating that the store was closing and we were being transferred to a new store she bluntly told me well we can't call everyone and that's a lot of people to contact. One that is not good customer service. Two for a person to represent your company she is not customer friendly. No one should be telling a customer to use common sense when this customer is trying to pay a bill. She is rude and nasty. When I explained to her that we are having a rough time and we could only pay half of the amount and then the other half on another date she claimed they were gonna come get the furniture and that we needed to pay the full amount but she took half. Charged me two late fees when she stated that she would waive one of the late fees. So she is also a liar. After we pay this second contract off we will no longer be dealing with your company because of how this whole process went. I am no longer satisfied with Aaron's and no longer want to do future business with you because of this. Customers should be notified when one store closes and they account is being transferred to another store. Customers should not have to be degraded by someone over the phone because they are in a little bind only one time. That manager has no idea who she could be talking to over the phone and she got the wrong one this time. I will be making another complaint because I want her fired for the way she treats customers. I work in the customer service field and if my employees talked to our customers the way she did, they would be looking for employment. This is not the way no of this I will take this higher
delivery service
I went into the Aaron's located on Keystone Avenue on Saturday October 7th and I found a sofa and loveseat in the clearance area and decided to purchase it. I was told it could not be delivered until Wednesday, I agreed and told them after 3 p.m. would be best. I hadn't heard anything on Wednesday evening so I called the store at 5:40 p.m. to see if the driver would arrive prior to 6:30 p.m. because I had a very important meeting at 7 p.m. I was told the furniture was put on a truck 2 hours prior and should have been here. I was then told I would receive a call on Thursday morning when the driver was on his way. I received a call Thursday morning asking if I was home, I told him I was at work but could meet them or have my son meet them. I was told to hold on and then that they would call me right back. I received no call so I called them and I was told they were shorthanded and they would deliver on Friday and that they would give me a call prior to coming. I received a call Friday stating they were sitting in front of my door at 11:25 a.m. I told them it would take me ten minutes to get to them they said it was okay I got home in 7 minutes they were gone I was then told they would re-deliver after I got home from work. They arrived at my home at 6:15 p.m. had me sign a paper that the furniture was delivered, took the loveseat off the truck, dropped it in front of my door because one of the loaders lost his grip and got cut, drips blood all over my porch then states they can't deliver it, loads it back on the truck and said they would go back to the store and have someone else come to help deliver they would be back between 7:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. By 8:20 p.m. no one has shown up or has had the decency to call and tell me they aren't coming back. I missed out on a dinner invitation and all I got was to clean blood from my porch. Seriously, this is how you feel about your customers? I guess because I wasn't loud and belligerent, this unacceptable (non) service will be overlooked. You didn't hesitate to take my money but I can't get the merchandise. I don't even want the furniture anymore I would like to just go with a company that cares about their customers.
bedroom set
I purchased a bedroom set October 5, 2017.. I am still waiting on them to bring the whole set.. I wasted a lot of my time just sitting and waiting but they never showed up.. I have a life nd other things i need to be doing then to sit here nd wait for thr merchandise i paid for on the 5th to come.. I called them nd they give me accuses.. Today is October 12th 1 o'clock nd I'm still wasting my time waiting for them when they said it's gonna be here in the morning.. Tuesday, when they did bring some of my stuff, they damaged my walls in the process.. Smh.. The guy proceeded to say he'll bring the rest Wednesday but today is now Thursday nd I'm still waiting.. This is the worst store ever.. I promise my god, I'll never return ever again.. My time is Valuable.. I don't need to be wasting it this store.. They're are NOT professional, reliable and the worst store ever.. As I write this, I'm still waiting on the rest of my bedroom like I don't have nothing else to do smh..

Rented a fridge.. It broke down.. They picked it up.. Gave a loaner.. Brought back the old one they say is now fixed.. It had no drawers.. And freezer will not open.. Called asked to habe this one returned and my rental money applied to a different one.. Was told no by the manager.. I never heard of such a thing.. Beyond disappointed! Why would you not want to make it right to keep a customer happy and take care of your junk equipment... Ugh!

I had recently put in application with Aarons and I haven't heard back from them . So I messaged a friend who worked there to see when the main boss would be in so I could speak to him myself . Well next thing I know the store managers calling me going off on me for no reason . I was just curious about a job application. Me or my family won't be back at arrons and I will no longer refer any friends there . She was very disrespectful and not helpfull once so ever . I even had her on speaker so my husband could hear how rude she was being .

I got a laptop and a home theatre system from Aarons in Edmonton on stony plan road the home theatre system hasn't worked right from day one and trying to get the lazy bums from the store to fix it or replace it it like smashing my head there's not one person that works in the store that's over 25 from what I've seen and none of them trained at all in how to deal with the public I told them id bring it back they told me that I wouldn't get a refund I told the to apply it to my laptop I was told no they don't do that

The employee I'm complaining about Jessica she works at the store in NorthCharleston Sc she has a very nasty attitude no compassion for customers she likes to threnting people about coming picking up merchandis if you one day late she don't care what your going through I know that's a rental company but I feel employee should have compassion for customers sometimes you just don't have it right then
store manager fraud
may 2017, I rented a bed room set from the Frederick md location. when I was offered a job in Omaha Ne, I called the store and scheduled a return. while I was in Omaha the crew showed up to pick up the items. My wife and son were there to allow access. the crew was extremely disrespectful toward them. The items were removed form my home and placed outside by the crew during the pick up bed bugs were noticed inside the box spring but no evidence was found on any of the remaining items however the crew left the items outside and left the area. As far as I am concerned if there was an infestation in the box spring it was brought to us . As you area ware it is Aarons policy to apply covers to all bedding. which was done by the delivery crew. the alleged infestation was noticed inside the covers. The store is attempting to hold me responsible for the cost of the complete set. I am not responsible I completed my end of the contract by voluntarily surrendering the merchandise which was last touched by the pick up crew. I would like corporate assistance to bring this matter to a close before I contact an attorney and press harassment charges. It has been mentioned that we kept the items. I will testify in court under oath that I nor any member of my family has these items. unfortunately I have purchased many items form Aarons but I do not believe I will do so anymore. this issue has put a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to the company.

I purchase a bedroom set in one of the office in fredericksburg va in zip code 22406 in where the move so my account was transfer to 22408 well when they deliver my bedroom set they put it together in which the parts of the bed bottom it wasn't complete so the bed from were the box spring broke so I went to where my account is and they said they have to order the part they didn't order the complete part and by bed is still no complate and when they can easily to put it together it has the wrong parts from another bed and left me like that still sleeping on the floor and I haven't yet received a call from the office the bed the parts the bottom legs are too big so the bed move so the rails falls apart been waiting for 3 weeks and still no answer from the office at all spoke to the receptionist angi and she said she will get back to me no calls they are inresponsible I see that when there is a problem with your merchandise don't fix the matter but they are fast to collect money am always on time with my payments now they can wait

On August 24, 2017, My daughter spoke to Hector (Store Manager) at Aaron's located on White Plains Road, Bronx New York 10467 because I was on a vacation in the Caribbean. My daughter Tamina informed Hector that I will be back on August 25, 2017 and make the payment. My daughter stated Hector told her $108.00 is the payment because of $15.00 for the late charge. . The regular payment is $99.00 . My daughter told Hector I will make the payment for $108.00 on Friday Morning (August 25, 2017). When I contacted the store to make the payment, Hector informed me I had to pay $208.00. I told him my daughter wrote down yesterday what he said I had to pay which was $108.00. I strongly feel this is miscommunication and this makes the company look incompetent and unreliable. As a dedicated customer who owns a lot of Aaron's furniture, I am so disappointed and displeased. When I told him I was going to file a complaint, he then said tell them my name also.
washer dryer combo
Ordered a washer dryer combo in July there was a problem getting them down the basement this was in mid July 2017 they brought out another set last Tuesday same problem called and complained promised they would be here by 5:30 pm Monday August 21st it is now 8:32 pm and no phone call no delivery but 89.00 was deducted from my checking the day I left the store in mid July can you say Lawsuit
xbox 360 4gb plus kinect
I leased an XBox 360 from Aaron's in Hempstead, NY 11550 and was never told by the associate that it was used or that it was missing several components. The lease was agreed on July 4th, 2017 in which case I was told to pay the full month first payment for the item which was delivered until August 2nd due to conflict in communication. I offered to pick it up as I would only be home after 4 and the store continuously rejected to comply with this information until I personally went to the store to speak to them about having my item delivered as they would not allow me to pick it up in store. Once the item was delivered to my home on August 2nd, 2017, I signed for them and when ahead to open the item to find that all it has is one control, the system and the two games, but no kinect system or connections and the packaging was sol loose that I would not be surprised to know the item was damaged in delivery as it came all scratched up from the outside. I returned this same day to Aaron's to ask for a refund in which the associate starts arguing with me claiming that the item was already used and she told me this information and that items would be missing and finally told me to just leave the items that she would not give me a refund and I can speak to the manager for that. I still have the lease which clearly states the item was leased in "new" condition, which it clearly was not. I would like my refund as soon as possible.
sectional couch
We rented a sectional couch and a washer and dryer from the west Saginaw store in Lansing Michigan. The couch was supposed to be a "management special" so the full price was supposed to be $500.00. We have been paying $80.00 a month since December 2016, and we got bed bugs from the couch. Now Aarons is refusing to take the couch back but threatening to take the washer and dryer which is also paid up. I called the Complaint department and spoke with a very nice woman who took all our information. The store manager Andrew was very rude and very inconsiderate on the phone. One of the guys that came to pick it up said that they weren't taking it and told his partner in front of my 14 year old daughter, "were just gonna get the [censor] or of here". Not professional at all and we are not happy with the service. We will be sending back the washer and dryer when the payment is due and going over to rent a center. Aaron's has lost our business!

I was very improperly handled and disrespected regarding my order by the north bergen, new jersey store and i am very disgusted at the service . After going through my references, job verification, and waiting several hours for the delievery that was supposed to be from 11am-3pm, and arrived at 4pm for the delivery man to barely come to the apartment building and demand my id in which i explained doesn't obtain this address because i just moved here. I provided him my lease in which he gave back to me saying it was no good and then my pse&g bill in which they still said no. I proceeded to call the store to speak to the manager, im not sure who i spoke to, a hispanic male said to be the manager who was very rude and mishandled me, i explained to him everything, he said he would call me back . While i was on the phone with him the delivery men had already left, and then "the manager" called me back very rudely to say they were canceling the order, my lease had whiteout on it, as if im falsifying documents or something when i also provided the pse&g bill as well . Upon arrival the delivery men did not want to do the delivery to begin with because of the area, one never got out of the truck and the other was very on edge and in a hurry and was non believing of the information i was providing and gave me a very difficult time, i have never been so insulted in my life. No one asked me anything or said anything just decided to cancel the order for no reason at all. Ihave 100 pages in my lease to verify my name and address that one specific page had whiteout on it because of a prior stamp from a diffrent agency and thats where the whiteout came from at the very bottle of the page and delivery man failed to mention i gave him a lease in the first place to then tell them there was whiteout on it. It was a circus and insult after making me wait all that time. Very poor customer service!

I place an order online on July 19th @ 10:47 am for 4.0 cu. ft. Top Load Washer & 7.2 cu. ft. Electric Dryer. I finally received a call back from the local office @ 6:52 pm on 7/26/2017. I returned the phone call the next day 7/27/2017 @ 2:15 and told I would receive a call back that the person I needed to speak with was with a customer, I called back @ 5:15 pm (same day)and the manager Marcus answered the phone and said that he was with a customer and would call me back in 20 minutes. No call was received. I called back again on 7/28/2017 @ 11:52 am and again @ 1:21 pm and was placed on hold, after being on hold for 20 minutes I had to hang up as I was at work. This is not how business should be done. All I am trying to do is get someone on the phone to set up a delivery. This should not be this difficult.
unprofessional and not willing to fix broken washer
I am highly disappointed and upset by how extremely unprofessional this company has been to me! I am paying for services that don't work and they refuse to fix it I am so upset and would NEVER ever recommend anyone get services with this company! I reported my washer not working over two weeks ago they sent a tech out to look at it on the 20th I went into the store to make my payment I spoke to Soil the owner who reassured me they would fix this I then trusted him and paid my payment and ordered a bed! The bed was delivered on the weekend and after looking at it I saw to much damages and called in to express my disappointment I then advised him I will be looking into Easy Home to change my services to them the owner then started to yell at me and was EXTREMELY unprofessional and disrespectful he then advised me if I'm returning the bed he's not going to fix my washer because how unsatisifed I am with the service! I ask the store multiple times for the esculation process they refused to provide me the number the head office contact number they refused to explain the esculation process I spoke to Rick also who refused to! This is so unprofessional if the store manager is verbally abusing me over the phone why am I being forced to speak back to him? They won't fix my product and it's unacceptable I never miss a payment and this is my 3rd time getting products with this store you do Not treat a Loyal customer like that! I would NEVER ever recommend anyone to get anything from this store I will be contacting Easy Home to inquire about moving to there store but in the mean while someone needs to intervene the way this store conducts business is unacceptable and so unprofessional this needs to be addressed immediately and the fact I'm paying for a washer I can not use is unfair I'm a single mother on a fixed income it's finically tight as it is so if I'm paying for a product or service I expect it to be in working condition! I'm complaining because after a day late of payment they've harrassed my reference numerous times even after asked not to call anymore. Discussed my account info with people that aren't the account. Questioned my neighbors. Even called my job and came to my place of employment in person. Bang on both doors like they are the police was told they were looking in my windows and yelling my name out side. told the manager that this is very unprofessional and his employees are causing disturbance where I live he was very rude and even swearing at me. I have over 50 voice mails of them calling my phone. Just recently they were here I was at work my babysitter said they were banging on my door for over 45mins calling my name and left marks on my door she was scared so didnt open the door and my 7yr old was scared also. The manager is a liability for this company bcs of his strong arming ways and threating behavior he called my job from a private number and my boss told him he is not to call any more and he started swearing at her. I fell behind on bills and tried to explain this to him and he just kept talking over me and being very rude swearing and threating...I got a bed for my daughter bcs she needed one bad and I had no other options this company is a freaking nightmare I will never rent from them again I feel like I am being stalked and harassed I have already paid so much into this bed and I dont feel like they deserve another dime of my money because of their behavior...mind you they gave me this bed saying it was hardly used but had not plastic on the matriss and had clear damages to it but still asks for $130 a month for it. Also when they first were supposed to deliver it I threw my daughter old bed out cleared her room missed a day of work and waited for them to show and they never did...so it was either my daughter sleep on the couch or my bed...no sorry from them or a payment off my bill...nothing. I wish I could of gave them a 0 star . I've spend so much money with them. I got my dryer from them I decided to buy crouches after but The 1st set of couches that they gave me was the ones from the store And there was already breaking apart in 6 month Then they change them and gave me another use pair Charging my account about $150 a month For like the past 2 years . Smh I started having problems with those couches to and they never came to fix them after I complained numerous times. I finally got fed up and told them to come pick up the couches .. But when I told them to come pick up the couches they just charged my account so now they been taken they sweet time and I made an appointment with them to come pick them up. they never showed up. Now they don't wanna give me my last refund that they just took from me after I've paid well over $2500
