So, my mother-in-law's anniversary was coming up and I wanted to get her something special. She's really into vintage furniture and decor, so I started looking around for some vintage pieces. I purchased a carpet and a rug pad. The rug pad arrived but the carpet did not. The customer service email address did not resolve the issue and stopped responding. The phone number for both the store and customer service line were disconnected. I reached out via social media and also failed to receive a resolution.

We ordered a couch from ABC Carpet and Home in January , and in late June, it still hasn't arrived. In March, the CEO sent a (now famous) email to customers that they were experiencing delays because of COVID and they may take another 6 weeks. Here we are over 12 weeks later, still nothing. We need a full refund, and I can only hope that ABC Carpet and Home hasn't defrauded a bunch of customers because I can see that we are not the only ones.

I purchased a custom made couch on aug 21st 2021. I followed up with the company on status of my order and had return responses. I finally had a response that my couch was complete and would ship that week, they said should receive in 10 to 12 days.its been close to a month and I have tried contacting them at least 10 times with no response. I pre paid $4000 and have nothing to show for it and cannot get a return response. Was I taken for a ride. It seems that way. I would be happy to have help any way possible.

I ordered a sofa in May with and ETA of October. then they moved the date to 11/1 (which was fine with me). My sales rep who has since left the company said not to worry, my order was on time. Now when i reach customer service they just tell me sorry about the delay, no updates. i need a sofa. i need to know when it is arriving. i need information so i can order something else. but because it's special order i also can't cancel it. i would like the sofa to be delivered to me. i don't want to cancel- i've been waiting for 6 months. not sure why they can't provide update.

It is now Sept 9th 2021 and my latest ETA was leaving the factory Sept 21. When I emailed to confirm this would finally be my delivery estimate I was told that now I need to wait an additional 3 weeks until Oct 16. I had not received an update until I inquired by email as the date was approaching. It has been 10 months of waiting for something I paid in full for with no discount, very little information. I am not confident that I will ever receive this sofa.

The sales person told us that the couch was in stock and that we would for sure receive delivery of it before October ,, which was the day we were moving with our children to a new home (and needed a couch so we can sit). Day after day passed and nobody from ABC called us to schedule delivery. So I called two different dates, and were told that it would come and that someone would call to schedule. Nobody ever did. Then the day we moved I called ABC again and spoke to someone who told me that the couch was not in stock, and would not be until at least January. They did not offer us any way to actually help us. It was basically too bad. We would not necessarily have purchased this couch if it wasn't going to come timely. Also, we purchased other living room items to coordinate with the color of the couch, which we now do not have and cannot get any time soon. This was a horrible experience.

My wife and I purchased three pieces of furniture the first week of september. 6 weeks later was the scheduled delivery for all pieces to our home upstate. When the delivery came, only one piece was delivered, even though the other pieces were currently in stock. The customer service team told me to rest assured, they knew it was the shipping company's mistake, and that they would help us in receiving our missing pieces of furniture promptly. It has now been 4 weeks since the error occurred, and we are still without two pieces of furniture that were available the whole time. We try emailing customer service, we never get a response. We try calling customer service, no one picks up and no one calls back if you leave a message. At this point they are absolutely avoiding us and not doing anything to resolve the issue. We just want our furniture. It has been in stock the whole time. We have even offered to hire a moving company to pick it up at the warehouse since the shipping company they use has abandoned any effort to get our furniture to us. Absolutely frustrating and the worst experience we have ever had with ABC Carpet.

I ordered a custom couch last November . The couch was expected to arrive January but I figured it could be a little late because of the pandemic. After reaching out, I was told it would arrive in March (I was never notified of this change). The couch was supposedly destroyed in shipment and a new one was to be made. It would be available in August. I agreed. It is now almost November (a full year) and I have no couch. I am out almost $1800. No one will answer my emails or messages. All phone lines have been disconnected. The company has filed bankruptcy and I am concerned I will lose all my money. The last contact I had was around a month ago when I was assured the couch was arriving to them shortly. They said I should expect it early November (again a whole year late). I have been so kind and understanding (trying to not be a ***). I know its a pandemic and supply chains are wrecked. However the lack of transparency and communication from a luxury brand is astounding. I just want my couch or money back! This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. If there is anything that can be done, I would appreciate it.

In April the associate I worked with informed me that delivery was delayed until August. Then in June she informed me that it was delayed until October. When I read about ABC filing for bankruptcy I reached out to her to ask if they were still going to honor my order or issue a refund. She told me all orders placed prior to the bankruptcy filing date of September 7 were guaranteed. I heard nothing until October and then I began to receive legal correspondence from the law firm handling the bankruptcy, including a "proof of claim" form to fill out and submit to demonstrate that ABC owes me money or merchandise. So I reached out to the associate to ask about the status of my order and she told me she had no info but would know more after High Point (Oct 16-20). I reached out to her again last week and she told me she was no longer employed at ABC and still had no information and referred me to customer service. I reached out to Customer Service and asked them the exact status of my sofa: Was it ordered? Has it been manufactured or not? If so, when will I receive it? They told me they have no information because there is a new owner and the new owner doesn't have this information. So I definitely feel like I am getting the runaround. My worry is that ABC took my money in March but because they were in financial distress instead of placing and paying for the order with the manufacturer they used the money to cover other obligations. I simply want to know the status of my order. I still want the sofa if it has been made and will be delivered in the next few months. If it has not been made and will not be made, I want a refund, and will submit the proof of claim documentation to the legal team and also dispute the charge with
