This posting is stupid. Like this company REALLY is legit and just wants to sell Acai Berry products. It has nothing to do with trapping stupid people into paying money unwillingly! NOTHING AT ALL!

its all about these wonderful acai berries

I wanted to try trial sample and was not only billed 49.99 for it but additional 4.95 x 2 months for so called "webaccess" and 9.95 x 2 months for "online diet consultation" that was hidden in the small print. This whole company is a scam. They refused to refund my money and had no contact phone number in order to cancel after the first months charges. there was no email or anything letting me know I had ordered the services. They helped themselves to funds in my bank account completely unauthorized. These kinds of people and companies are no better than the greedy bailout ### that keeps this country's economy in the toilet. SHAME on all of you!

Agreed! Worst company ever! And it makes it worse that there's no actual "company", no manager, or anybody you can talk to with authority to do anything for you! I ordered my Acai Burn in the beginning of February and it never showed up. I waited for 4 weeks in the meantime e-mailing to see if there was any way of trackiing the order, and of course there wasn't! I finally gave up and insisted that they give me a refund. It's been 2 weeks now and still nothing. On top of that I've got all these charges from their 3rd party companies, that neither company will refund either. I've bit the bullet on those charges, but Acai Burn still hasn't given me a refund for the $24.95 I spent on SHIPPING for the Acai Burn that I NEVER even received. So basically, I'm being charged by 3 different companies for a services and a product that I haven't even seen, let alone used!
Total rip-off, hopefully people will do some research and see these forums before ordering from them, I really wish I had. Don't do it! It's a total scam and a complete waste of money!

I ordered online for the 14 day free trial, after 3 weeks i called the number on my order summary [protected]) and they had said my next three months worth were shipped out and only one payment was made which was for the 1 of 3 bottles that were in the mall...i continued to cancel anymore payments or shipments and the lady kindly explained just to send back the other two and i wouldnt be charged and further. I was also given a cancellation number. Doesnt appear to be a scam to me but i'll see if anymore payments are taken and i'll comment again at a later date.

somebody should do something about this company, they are stilling money from everybody, if you count $5 here and there it adds up!
My case was the web access fee, the same day that i called to cancelled the acai burned i called the web access and spoke to a lady name Natasha, and for some reason she couldn't find me on their system, so she told me that She thought I wouldn't get charge, and not to worry, later I found a charge on my credit card, for both the acai burned and the web access fee.
When I called for the acai burned and gave them the tracking # they reinbursed the money, but when I called for the web access, they wanted the confirmation number for the cancellation and I didn't have any, because since the lady couldn't find me, and told me not to worry, I know it's only $5, but if you add up all the time they are doing this, they are ripping people off. When I insist on speaking with the manager they put me on hold for like 10 minutes to see if i'll get bored and hung up, but i waited, and the manager still told me that i wouldn't get no refund because i didn't have no cancellation #. I ask him if there was anybody with the name of Natasha, and told me that they were few people with that name, it's not a common name, but what a coincidence right?
Please let's do something to avoid that other people get rip off like a lot of us already did!

I have to agree with beth, i myself have fallen for this scam wher i have no details of what company i have purchased the AcaiBurn, I have not even received the product but have been charged for it . I was told i would be charged $4.95 but was charged £18.95, i have no way of stopping the shipment either because the phone numbers they had provided to me do not seem to go through, the numbers they gave me were [protected] and [protected]. I will never fall for something like this again

I too got really sick, I was taking this and i was on yaz a birth control i felt soooo sick and before i had regular periods but we i start taking this stuff i was all messed up i stop taking them after a week my period stayed on for a month a half. Cancellation is not easy - And I have read the terms and conditions!
I am trying to cancel my membership, however I do not have access to the on-line helplive help option available on the Website, 8:00AM to 5:00PM MST seven days a week. Or I am finding it difficult to locate. I am located in Australia and I have tried the telephone number - with no response. There appears to be no mailing address.

I placed my order on the 12/3/09 and have still not received it.

I agree that this is a harsh lesson into reading terms and conditions. Thanksfully I found this site and cancelled everything promptly. I have not been charged anything other than the shipping which I am writing off as a stupidity tax for falling for this.
As a precaution, I have cancelled my card. A small price to pay for potentially something so stressful.
Thanks to everyone posting on here. You have saved my bacon.

This company is a disgrace. When I ordered the product it said free trial. I was to pay $5. Then i enter my credit card details and they take $25 without me agreeing. I then get charged extra amounts of money every few weeks. I am furious. I have received no product. I have called from the UK and they had me on phone for ages saying they are trying to bring up my account. It is a big scam agency. I have been on the phone for 20 minutes now with them saying they are bringing up my account. The last agent cut me off when I said I want to cancel. I am going to contact my bank to cancel my credit card because you cannot get any sense out of the people on the phone and they will keep taking money from you. I am still on hold. Please do not use this company. Lets get them shut down. They will probably be some very rich selfish individuals.

There is no such thing as a free trial. The Acai Berry scams lead the consumer to believe that they can cancel their order within 14 days and not be charged for the product, less shipping. Buyer beware, you will be charged for the product that was sent when you cancel. Also, after 14 days you will be automatically charged for another bottle. In order to not be charged you have to recieve, cancel, and return the product all within the 14 day trial period, which is virtually impoossible. I have read accounts from people claiming that they were able to do this, but were charged anyway. I have the utmost compassion for anyone struggling with their weight, but don't be fooled. This is a 100% scam. Avoid it.

This company has charged me twice for product that never arrived. I also have incurred international charges. I had to cancel my bank card. The company is not trust worthy and the product caused my face to break out in what felt like sunburn and then turned to a rash of water blisters a few days later. When I called the company I did talk to some man that hardly spoke English. He assured me the charges would stop and I would not receive any more products. He was right I received no more product but the charges never stopped. That was two charges ago. So far I am out about $200.00 that I hope to get back by filing legal fraud charges with my bank. NOT A GOOD COMPANY OR PRODUCT! BEWARE!

I want to cancel my membership but I am the same as 'thommeny'. I live in New Zealand and cannot access the live help and the phone number doesn't seem to go anywhere. The pills have been working for me but after charges are converted to New Zealand dollars I just cannot afford it.

How can I cancel my account so that they stop charging me?

Then just two days ago a furthet £42.99 has been debited from my account. When i tried to ring the tel number which is situated at the bottom of the website it said this number cant be connected. I am an Australian resident and have been scammed too. No product has not turned up so I had no chance at all to return the 'trial'.

So first thing contact your bank and reported a disputed transaction. From what I have read you need to call 3 numbers 1 to cancel the pills another to cancel the inside secrets guide and a 3rd to cancel your web account. Here are the numbers. There are 4 here its what I have found on other complaint pages. Try to get through on all of them but be prepared for a late night or early morning with the time differences make sure you dial international as the AU toll free numbers owner gets quite mad!

Like most other complainers, I ordered the free trial Acai Burn for $4.99 and was sent the first quantity of pills. I was very annoyed that I was charged 4 times that amount! My doctor advised me not to take them, so I contacted the company via their 'contact us' live customer service site. (This does not seem to be available any more). I explained the problem and they agreed that I should send them back by recorded delivery, which I did. I was happy when my bank account was reimbursed but then I noticed that they are still taking a monthly amount for membership. I am not a member any more! I went to my bank who say they can do nothing except to advise me to complain to Visa, which is what I am going to do next.

An utter and total scam! I have tried to cancel my subscription: only managed to get through once. That was a couple of weeks back. There used to be a Skype connection listed which has now been taken off their site. I have today called my credit card company to block any further money to be taken out by this company and they will try to get some of my money back via a dispute procedure. They have received more complaints from other peole about the company. Today I have tried to contact them again and when I ring the number, it either tells me it is incorrect or there is no answer. The 24/7 life online help has been off line for most of the day which seems very strange indeed: I am starting to think that maybe they have done a runner! I won't rest however, until I know that no more money has been taken from my account. I hope they will be traced down and put behind bars for their fraudulent activities and from taking advantage of honest people who, like me, really believed the product might work and gave it a try. By the way, I only received the trial bottle and no other supplies! Plus I wish, like many of you, I had seen this before ordering in the first place!

I ordered the "free trial" from Acai Burn. I did not realize that I had to call within 15 days to cancel. I got an order for more pills and I immediately called the company and let them know I was not interested in continuining receiving the products. I returned the pills at my cost and I had to follow up for reversal of charges. I have continued to be billed for $9.95 using my credit card information for something I had no idea. When I investigated it, it just so happens I had been signed up for a Comprehensive Weight Loss Program on the internet I had no idea I had! When I called to investigate further Acai Burn told me that the money was for a membership with "another company", which I discovered was called Comprehensive Weight Loss.

When I spoke to a Customer Service Rep., he told me that he would terminate my membership. At that moment I asked if they hadn't been notified of my cancellation with Acai Burn. He stated they had not since they are separate companies. I asked for a refund for the last 2 months of charges and he stated he couldn't. I asked him for the company full business name and address and he told me he could not verify the address! At this point, I was furious and asked to speak to a supervisor. She told me that only a supervisor could verify that information. When I got the information, the address was exactly the same as ACAI BURN! The only thing burning in me right now is anger and disgust at how these companies make their money.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPA"NY. If you do, read all the terms and enter at your own risk. VERY SHADY. Imagine the feeling of having an irresponsible company dipping into your bank information!

SHAME ON YOU ACAI BURN!

I too have been fooled into purchasing Acaiburn. I live in Australia and was charged 24.95 for shipping. That was nearly four weeks ago and I still have not recieved the product. I spoke to livechat the day afterI placed the order to enquire about the money exchange rate and to ask what had actually been debitied from my credit card. I was told the product had already been shipped...where is then? I went online yesterday and unsubscibed but will that even work. My biggest fear is that they now have my credit card number and will they continue to debit the 59.95 per month for a product that obviously doesn't exist. Now I can't even find the livechat link so I can ask there scammers what the hell is going on...

I have had the same experience. I didn't sign for the 14 free trial, instead I selected to buy 3 bottles and paid $120 upfront. When my credit card statement arrived, I found I was charged $126.95 instead which is still ok as I think that may be a shipping fee - though I believe it said free shipping at the time I placed the order. But I was supprised to see 3 other charges in the statement - a $6.95 web access fee, a $4 foreign transaction fee, a $1 transaction fee. When I called Acaiburn, they said when I placed the order I signed in for 2 programs (insider secret, comprehensive weight loss) and I need to talk to them to cancel the membership. I have never signed in for the program, but the Acaiburn woman insisted that I did. I got the 2 telephone numbers from her and called the 2 companies. Yes, they told me they have my name as their member. I told them to cancel and refund me the fees, they said they would cancel my membership, but would not refund me for the first month fee as I didn't call them within 7 days after I signed in. How would I know that I need to cancel for something I have never signed in? I think the whole business is a scam.

The CANCELLATION problem in the UNITED KINGDOM, do as follows:
1. For Membership:
Have your Order ID: Number, your telephone number, your address by your side
Telephone [protected]
Obtain a Cancellation Number
To avoid the $59.95 -> within 21 days of order return the Trial to:
Atlast FullFilment,
2B Viking Industrial Estate

On the outside of the package write clearly your Order ID: Number
Keep a note of your Tracking Number
2. For Insider Secrets:
Telephone [protected]
Obtain a Cancellation Number
3. For eBook:

Its a circuitous route to exit 'this sham' but do as above quickly for United Kingdom 'users' to sort it out and prevent the follow-on 'auto' charges to credit card from the small print.

I ordered on line the acai burn for $1.95 for a trial for 2 weeks. I cancelled within the 2 weeks because it did
not work. I talked to Mary of Acai Burn and she told me that she will stop the auto ship. I thought OK everything is fine. Then I get my credit card statement and see 3 different charges. So I called each Company and they told me when I signed up for the trial that I was bound to these terms. I told them I did not see anything like that and then told me they will cancel further charges but I am obligated to these charges. I told them I was not bound to those charges because it was never told to me and I did not see anything saying that and I told them to reverse these charges. I also called my credit card company and they told me if they do not reverse the charges they will personally call them up. Acai never told me that I had to return the trial and in order for me to get the credit of $59.95 I will need to send it via insured mail back to them in order for them to credit my trial of the acai burn. This is a scam because if they truly believe in the product they are selling, they do not have to have these hidden fees and if they were an honorable company they should be and willing to reverse those charges and not to mention they should have said if you are not satisfied to cancel within the 2 weeks but you must return the product back to us to prevent further charges. This is not the case with this company. I hope the federal government close them down and charge them of fraud as I will also be writing to the Attorney General of Iowa to let them know what Acai Burn is doing to scam customers and I hope everybody will do the same

I will be writing to the Attorney General in Iowa to have this companies stop selling there products because they are scaming all of us. Also they never told me I had to return my trial of the Acai Burn and they charged me for it in full even though I had cancelled within the time limit. This product does not work at all.
