I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. I've called many, many times to advise them of the double billing. Always a recording- then switch to music, then recording again. Never a live person. I have called different times of the day, during their mountain time business hours. It's always the sam, recording and. No response.

On 9/9/08 I ordered a trial of your product and received it almost one month later, I paid $44.85. Then without reordering someone took $39.95 out of my bank account and I received no products that was on 10/14/08. Then again on 10/28/08 $44.90 was taken from my account! Ido not want you taking any more money from my account! Please return the$84.85 to my account, PLEASE! or I will contact the office of the BBB.Thank you! Mrs Jo EllenWashington. P.S. I tried to call your company using the number that was in my bank statement, but got the runaround from your automation. My number is [protected] please call me as soon as you get this e-mail. Thank you.

They offer you the free trial version at 5.95 but when I got my statement they were charging me full price after the trial date. They did not contact me about the product and what my thoughts were on the product before charging my account. This is what I call bad customer service. Why do they use people such as Oprah to push their product, this also tells me Oprah has no clue about the product.

SHAME ON ME! I thought I was getting something good for a cheap price and did not read the Terms and
Conditions. WOW, it's all there folks and I have to eat my own words after crying out loud about being cheated. My excitement overcame me and I did not read the most important part of the contract. Will never do this again.

Just received product. The "FREE" trial does not exist. They sent two products I did not ask for or "click for" and for which they charged my account $44.85. Now they insist on a 15% restocking fee. A scam no doubt. I will fight this through my credit card company. Apparently since no one has posted in 40 days or so, I must be the last gullible person to get scammed?

The price I was given for ordering was not what was put on my credit card. It went from $4.95 t0 $44.95. I have returned your product and do not want to receive anymore shipments. I have called my credit card and told them not to accept anymore charges from your company.

How dare this company take advantage like this. I agreed only to pay $1.95 for a sample and they sent me gum and a liquid which I did not order and had the ultimate gall to charge my credit card $41.85. I called today to get a return number and they said my hold time was 45 minutes and 54 seconds. Well, I will take this up with my credit card company and see what happens from there. I should have put it on my AM EX card since they are usually the most helpful.

Everything everybody is saying is true about this AcaiPure, I am surprised at Oprah for promoting this stuff it is a rip off and I want my money back...no one is answering the phones..started out as 4.95 then you get a bill for 44.85 for some gum and water. Times are to hard for stealing other peoples money...

I too was overcharged. When I initially stopped my order, I was given the option of shipping for only $1.95 instead of $4.95. I agreed to this amount and submitted my credit card info. This morning I found out that I was charged $41.95. I called the 888 number twice and let the phone sit for over two hours by itself and the elevator hold music was still on! I'm going to try to reverse or stop the payment from VISA via my Credit Union and or file a complaint with the New York State Attorney General's Office. The real reason why the number tells you that there is a 51 minute hold time is: a) no one will answer the phone or b) they want you to hang up or c) they are getting sooooo many complaints BUT it isn't because the proud is sooooo popular! Join me in a class action lawsuit!

There were two little boxes to the right that you were suppose to un click in order to not be charged for the other two items, that's how they got you!

This is a scam. I returned the product, cancelled the account and was then charged another fee. I immedicatley called my credit card company, reported fraud, and shut down my credit card account. You should all do the same. I will report to the attorney general. Good luck

I too order the free sample which i was to only pay shipping $4.95. The free sample arrived with a 30 day supply which they charged my acct 39.95. I have received a second bottle with a charge of 42.95 which I am sure that I did not order. I can't get them on the phone and the letter says that I can't return with a special code that I will get from them on the phone. How can I return this with all the stipulations that they require? I am very upset with this company. They seem to have way of getting away with charging your account whenevery they choose to.

This company is a theiving company. I to was scammed by their free trial offer of $4.85 and like the others I thought since Oprah endorsed them it was legitimate. They sent me crap I didn't order and charged me $44.85. I got an RMA # and mail delivery confirmation like the site says (you have to search the pages of the site to find this info). Returned all products unopened and not only 9 days after they got my product they charged me another $39.95. What a ripoff company. I'm going to my bank today before they still anymore from me since I used my debit card. I'm also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and emailing Oprah. She should be appalled.

I ordered acaipure for 4.95 shipping and was charged 44.95 then they send me stuff I didn't want and when I try to call you get nowhere and it takes a week to get an answer back from an email which when i finally send it back instead of crediting my account they charge me an additional 39.95 because it was past the 14 day trial period. Now I am afraid the will keep sending me the stuff and I will keep getting charged but I still have to pay the shipping and a 15% restocking fee. Any ideas what to do next.

Ordered "free trial" for $4.95 S/H and was charged $44.85 for other products shipped with "free trial". I unchecked all the appropriate bubbles so I wouldn't receive any extra products, but the company ignored my request and shipped me those same products. I have reported this company to the BBB and the Arizona Attorney General's Office.

I ordered the "Risk Free Trial Offer" of AcaiPure. I was shocked to have also received the Hoodiburst Gum and Hoodiawater for a grand total of $44.85. I phoned their customer service phone number and was told there would be a 18-minute hold. I phoned early this morning and there was already a 39 minute hold time - totally ridiculous! I am writing a letter to the president of the company and will seek legal action against them.
I plan on returning all the product including the free trial offer and will "eat" their charge of a 15% restocking fee.
I will never, never order anything from them again. I only wish I had read other people's complaints about them before I ordered.

I ordered the trial bottle of Acai Pure, and they sent two other things as well. I called, and complained, and they refunded only $33.92. Today arrived another bottle of Acai Pure, UNORDERED, and the phone number has a 37 minute wait time to obtain an RMA #. This is a complete scam, and I intend repoirting them to the Better Business Bureau.

I received my Acai berry prescription on the first month and it was charged to my account. It was a trial thing. The second month I was charged again for the same thing and received it in the mail.. I did not autorized the second charge to my account, therefore I will not pay for it and I do not want anything sent to me again. NOTHING! I told my credit card company not to accept payment for this product anymore!

Ordered a "trial" package and paid for it with credit card. Then I get in the mail another bottle and charged 44.90 for it. I did not order this bottle. Tried to call the customer service #. Told "it will be a 40 minute wait period" because our product is so popular. That means they have incorrectly sent and billed many people and they are trying to get the RMA number to send back the product. I sent mine back and paid 7 dollars to send it back. I called my credit card company and they are not going to pay it. I think the Florida BBB will be contacted when I get off the phone or the city in which ACAIPure is located.

THIS IS SCANDALOUS, I WAS INFORMED THAT THE PRODUCT WOULD COST $4.95, NOW MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN CHARGED $44.85. THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING DONE IN REGARD TO MORE COMPLAINTS BEING FILED AND MONIES RETURNED TO MY ACCOUNT.

IF ANYONE OUT THERE HAS ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PLEASE EMAIL IN RETURN, I CANNONT, (AS I'M SURE NOONE IS) AFFORD TO SPEND MONEY UNNECESSARILY ON SUCH FABRICATION.

Yes, beware because I was charged another fee of $39.95, in addition to the $44.95, which should have been $4.95. I, ultimately, had to inactivate my credit card, so they would not charge me any more!

Make sure they don't, also, do this to you.
