I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. I am in the UK--unfortunately, I too, have fallen for the "free offer" scam of Extreme Acai Berry and I'm not sure as to how to contact them by telephone from here?
There is a number on a slip of paper accompanying the 15 "free" tablets--[protected] but I don't know what the full number would be from the UK and if anyone can tell me, I'd be highly grateful.
I daresay it'll cost me a bomb to eventually contact someone but in the long run, it's going to be a great deal cheaper than what would appear to be a future disaster each month!
As it is, it looks as though I'm going to be billed at least once, if not twice by the time I reach anyone, considering they've probably sent out already.

I realise that it's my own fault for not scrolling to the bottom and reading the "Terms" but the way it is all presented is just so VERY convincing and if they at least were effective it wouldn't be so bad but it would seem the tablets do not even have the desired effect!

SO--if anyone can help me, I'd be pleased to see a number I can use and if I am successful in cancelling, (or even if not!)--I'll report back with what happens and how long it takes me to hopefully put things right.

I ordered the free trial of Acai Pure which was supposed to be with shipping charge only of $4.95 and was sent Hoodiburst Gum and Hoodiawater which I did not order but has been debited out of my account. The customer service line keeps you on hold for and indefinite period up to 30 minutes or more.

Just realised the number from the UK simply needs a 00 in front---
CAN YOU BELIEVE it?--LOL!

Here I am in the UK---dialled up and within minutes of a recorded message, stating the opening times, I got a guy who could hardly hear me and who couldn't understand a word I said, "because of my accent"--however, he asked me to hold, then a female operator came on and after much shouting to be heard as it was such a faint line, we patiently kept on till we got initials and numbers correct as regards my name and phone number, which took the past 20 mins, lol!
BUT---I've got a cancellation number, I couldn't quite make out if she said I was to be billed one more time or not billed any more but whatever, I can cope with one more if that happens but I got the impression I'm ok.
Should it be any different I'll report again but I'm left feeling pretty reassured as both operators were
very nice, polite and extremely patient---it has to be said that over here, the 'phone would've been put down withinn minutes and it also occurred to me that it would've/could've been the perfect excuse on their part to have made out that because they couldn't understand me, etc, they could have easily disconnected contact--but they perserved until we got there in the end and I feel pretty confident that all is ok.

I'm just astounded that I seem to have had greater success all the way over "The Pond" than many of you have on home-territory, lol!--though I must admit, for some reason, she initially thought I was calling from Canada!

Good Luck to all of you here both currently undergoing problems and to any following me here--

It would seem that there genuinely ARE sincere operators there, it's just being able to get them and I guess I just hot lucky---thank goodnes, being a UK/US telephone call!

Warm wishes to all of you and if, in the event I find it still isn't as good as it appears right now--I WILL BE BACK to let you all know!--right now, though, I'm breathing a great sigh of relief as in monetary terms over here, it is pence just short of £70 per month!

Also scammed...I contacted them waited 30minutes but wanted to make sure my acct. didn't keep getting money withdrawn. She said I did not read the terms and conditions (which I did) and it was a free trial with a $4 dollar shipping fee, and I did receive the bogus pills which are a bunch a bull! I guess I learned to not trust the internet or oprah..Wow I'm really shocked by my ignorance and hope they get a conscious.

I wish I would have seen this site before I got involved in this SCAM! I am now on hold for a supposedly 37 minute wait because their product is so popular...HUH!. I have sent emails and tried to talk to a human being with no luck. How do I get this stopped? They just took out another 39.95! I am so upset!

i strongly disagree with the acaipure SCAM! if anyone is thinking about ordering this product be prepared to be shocked. it was a special on Oprah so i figured hey why not try it! you only have to pay the shipping and handling fee! INCORRECT! i did recieve my bottle of acaipure in a timely fashion with the first billing cycle only being charged the shipping and handling fee. BUT on my next statement i had a charge of 39.95. i called thier customer service line and waited for over 40 minutes-honestly-and she said i had an account with them. NO NO NO. she told me"YOU DO ONLY HAVE TO PAY THE SHIPPING FEE IF THE PRODUCT IS RETURNED BACK TO US WITHIN 14 DAYS. THATS WHY IT IS CALLED A 'TRIAL'. AND SINCE YOU DIDNT RETURN IT WITHIN THE 14 DAY PERIOD THE CHARGE YOU HAVE NOW IS REMAINDING COST OF OUR PRODUCT." i told her that was BS and for them to lose my information. i am far from being an account holder.

Last night after reading posts and complaints on here I found I too was scammed! I emailed OPRAH (through her show's web site) and called my bank. I had to close my credit card and wait for another to come in mail, and I am having to fill out paper work to dispute this. Seems like there should be something we could do!

I ordered free trail of Acai Pure and was charged $44.85 on my debit card instead of the shipping fee $4.95. This is a scam. I have not received my product.

ACAIPURE - charged
ACAIPURE - Didn't order
ACAIPURE - wrongful charages
ACAIPURE - over harged
ACAIPURE - charged more on c.c. acct. than was suppose to.
ACAIPURE - My account was canceled several months ago and I have charge another39.00 dollars for something I didn't recive.I want my money refunded.

I filed a complaint with the local attorney general office in my state. I suggest you all do the same. I finally reached someone at the company and they hung up on me. I also emailed Oprah.com to let her know that they are using her to represent their fradulent product. They state that when you click on terms and agreements it indicates that you get the products over and over. What they don't indicate on the site is that their web address is invalid and their
phone number/customer service does not care to hear
anything you have to say. I was hung up on 3 times...trying to reach them in all about 4 hours today.

Charges incurred by this company are as follows:
10/06/08 14.90 trial
10/06/08 44.85 got me?
11/2/08 39.95 remainder of balance per what company says of acaipure
11/2/08 39.95 remainder of balance per what company says of pomclear
11/2/08 75.00 in service charges to my account
total 214.65 a hard lesson learned.

Unable to return product for refund since 30 day trial runs out tomorrow, November 5th. Consolation of 20.00 if I send product back tomorrow. Even if I was able to return product on time there is a 15% restock fee and you do not get your shipping fees back which equal about 40.75 of your money. Or, time you have to wait on hold to get the situation taken care of which runs about 30 to 40 minutes and situation does not get taken care of.

Read the fine print that they so conveniently make sure you can see, not. Turning this company into the Better Business Bureau due to unclear and fraudulent charges that I did not give permission to.

Purchased free trial size of Acaipure. Only $4.95 S&H. They billed my Credit Card $44.85 for extras, like diet gum and water. Not only did they charge me for that junk, but now today 1 month later they billed my CC for $39.95. Just got off the phone with the company they tell me its the remaining balance for my free trail. What they don't tell you is that it's 60 pills only 14 days are free. DO NOT fall for this. They don't even work. I threw them out before 14 days. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I ordered a free trial of AcaiPure for 4.95 and my account was cahrged 44.95 the first time and $39.95 the next month. I did not authorize either transaction. This is a scam and I will report this to the Better Business Bureau, the Dept of Commerce and my lawyer immediately as well dispute this with my bank. What a scam.

This company should be shut down! I too was charged on my bank account for an order I cancelled with hours of placing. Then I was charged another fee for a next supply of an order I did not receive or want.

You cannot get a representative to speak with. Emails are vague at best. I am submitting a complaint to my Attorney General. If anyone has gotten any satisfaction from this company please let me know how.

May unaware consumers are getting scammed. The company is probably not making profits from the product but from innocent people!

I also agreed to pay only 4.95 for a free trial of Acaipure. The Hoodia gum and water were added and my account was charged $44.95.I have no way to stop these charges for products I neither want nor ordered. Yesterday I was charged $39.95 for products I again have not ordered and do not want. Please help me contact these reckless merchants to stop this and get me my money back. Does anyone have the address for Acaipure? or a phone #

Ok, guys I am with ya'. I have had $44.85 taken twice from my checking account and I have never received any products. I want my money back! I am furious. Does anyone know the number to call? And yes I think Oprah should be aware of this scam as well. I am sure if she knew about this she would be upset. We should all contact her and e-mail her all these complaints.

Of course my complaint is the same as everyone elses. I ordered product and didn't uncheck? the boxes for the extra products and got charged for them. Haven't received anything yet, but when I do I have to pay to send them back and also a restocking fee. This is outrageous. I have ordered many items off the internet and have never been more disappointed. I thought I was smart about scams, guess not. This was a big wake up call. Most companys that you complaint to resolve the issue in a timely manner. Acai pure won't even answer their phones or there is a hour wait time, come on.

I ordered a supposed "free trail" $4.95 but was sent the free trail plus a bottle of Hoodia water & gum and charged $44.85 on 9/12/08. I was never sent anything else, I didnt return because it was so much trouble plus huge restocking fee. today I was checking bank account and found were they charged me $44.90 again on 11/3/08. This is fraud, I didnt authorize and now cannot reach them by phone, their # says 55 minute wait. I've tried emailing to no avail and am now going to call my bank and the BBB and report them.

I clicked off the ad, but then was given the option to get the product and pay only $1.00 USPS shipping charge. I figured I might as well go for it.
I ordered the product and was charged $41.85 on my credit card. I have not yet received the product, but I was checking my online statement and noticed the charge.
I called the company and after 40 minutes on hold, I finally spoke to a representative who told me I had ordered three items.
I told him I only ordered the one product and he asked if I had deselected the other ones. There was no place to do that.
I immediately contacted my credit card and immediately logged a dispute of the charges. The credit card company is looking into it for me.

In September, I ordered "free" sample of Acaipure after seeing add on Oprah Winfrey's web site. I received a Kit containing a bottle of pills, chewing gum and some drops and was charged $44.85 on 9/12. Since then I have not received any additional products but my c.c. has been charged $39.95 on 10/16 and $44.90 on 10/31 for total of $129.70. I was sure that Oprah Winfrey wouldn"t be part of anything shady?

I was charged 4.45 for the purchase of Acaipure the offer was for 1.95. However I was debited another 39.95 from my account on October 15th When I called the customer service there was a 45 minute wait. I never gave permission for anymore purchases of this product and I am making it known right now that I want the money replaced and no more charges to my account.
It is impossible to get a hold of this company. This was backed and advertised by Oprah Winfrey.

I was also charged 44.85 for my free trial offer.I called them many times but could never get thru to any body. Finally I did. The person I spoke to said to just return the items that were sent to me. He even gave me a return merchandise #. I sent the items back, my account has not been credited and I have been charged another $39.95.

I had exactly the same experience. This company's webpage is totally misleading and they deserve to be the subject of a class action lawsuit. Their product is ineffective and they charged my credit card with unauthorized charges, which I am disputing. This is outright fraud and I will be one of the first to sign up in a law suit against them.
