I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. I was stupid enough to order a "risk free trial" of Acai Pure for the s/h cost only (4.95). About 3 weeks later, my account was charged 39.00 (approx.). I went back to the ads and read the fine print that you only have TWO WEEKS after you receive the product to "cancel your membership" or you will be charged the cost of your "risk free" bottle of crap. Furious, I called the customer service number and got the same recording others did, stating a "71 minute wait time". More furious, I waited and finally got someone on the line after an hour. She said "you have to send it back within 30 days" to get your refund (39.00) and luckily I still have a few days left. I confirmed the return address to ship back the stupid bottle with her on the phone that is on their scam website: Fulfillment Center, ATTN: Returns, 12399 Belcher Road South, Suite 140, Largo, FL 33773. She said you should get a delivery confirmation number when I asked the question "what if the mail is slow", which I will of course with a signature confirmation as well. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THESE SCAMMERS! But of course if you are reading this, you already did. . .just like me.

I too was scammed by the company that sells Acaipure and colon plus. I ordered the products on 11/15/2008, and I looked at my online bank statement 11/17/2008. When I looked at my bank statement I saw two charges on there in the amount of $44.85 and $45.85. The only amount I authorized was $4.95. You live and you learn. I called my bank and stopped payment.

I didn't notice the two boxes that needed to be "unchecked" which was my fault. I ordered ten days ago and still have not received anything except the two charged on my credit card for $44.85 and $45.85. How will I know whether they work and then cancel before the 14 days are up if I don't even get the products. I plan on sending everything back without even trying. I'm really disappointed as, according to Oprah, it sounded like such a good product. I sent an e-mail to the company, but have not received an answer and have not been able to get in touch with them by phone. So, how are we supposed to cancel our membership. I did contact my credit card company explaining the situation and they disputed the amount and said that they would wait to see if another charge came through before cancelling the card and issuing a new one.

I am in the same boat. Ordered from Acai-Pure after seeing a Dr. Oz/ Oprah supported ad on Facebook. Now a month later I have a 39.95 charge on my visa that I did not approve, nor have I ordered/received any more product. I am now on the phone with the company and the wait time is 68 minutes.

I am another one to get scammed. I ordered the $1.00 (trial offer) and was sent the gum and water total order $45.85. I want my money back. This is fraud, plain and simple. We can all get together and try suing in a block.

I have the same exact complaint as all of the others. I was also suppose to pay for the free trial and was charge 44.85 for 2 other things I did not order and cannot use. I cannot reach anyone by phone. These people should be investigated. I've learned a good lesson.

I agree with all the above complaints. Tried calling customer service [protected] several times and of course the wait time is over 3 hours or the latest 77 minutes. I was also charged $44.85 for the Hoodiburst gum - $9.95 and Hoodiawater - $29.95 and the free trial of POMClear. I did NOT order these and I do NOT want them. PLEASE REFUND THE $44.85 TO MY ACCOUNT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I cannot afford your ripoff. Please send me the Return Merchandise Authorization.

unauthorized credit card charge

Complaint Rating:
Company information:
CCNNUTRA

Phone: [protected]

I went online and found a free trial for an Acai Berry Power 500 product and colon cleanse. The free trial amount to be charged to my credit card was to be $4.95 for shipping. and a company by name of CCNNUTRA had charged an amount of $ 44.85 to my credit card. I tried to call this CCNNUTRA company and there is a constant busy signal. I brought this company up online, and there were many sites on fraudulent charge complaints on this company. Some of the websites were not even coming up any more on the web site listed. This company needs to be stopped with their dishonest business transactions, and unauthorized credit card charges to consumers credit card companies. This incident has caused me undue distress, and certainly has discouraged me from ordering any more online.

I ORDERED A FREE TRIAL SIZE OF THIS PRODUCT AND WAS CHARGED FULL PRICE. THE CHARGE SHOULD HAVE ONLY BEEN $ 4.95 NOT $ 44.95 I AM SO UPSET THAT SOME COMPANIES WOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU LIKE THIS. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CAN BE DONE FROM US CUSTOMERS, THAT THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN? PLEASE ADVISE SINCERELY, MARILYN WHITE

These people are full of you know what. I was fooled into trying the trial size and i haven't recieved anything and that was on the 10th then they claim they have so much orders they backordered. I'm told them was a lie and they were just trying to get my damn money.

I do not want this product sent to me and never ordered it. I ask for a free sample, never authorized them to bill me anything.

How do I get a hold of these people and ask them to stop mailing and charging me.

The charge of $44.85 being charged when it was a sample and they are taking advantage of people ordering the sample for $4.99 and charging for a supply for a longer period which wasn't ordered.

I guess I had a momentery loss of consciousness. I too was suckered into this scam. I usually will check these things thoroughly and was captivated by the "MIRACLE WEIGHT LOSS" claim. I too stayed on hold for 69 minutes 48 seconds or whatever the heck it was and was told the same info that was NOT CLEAR from the beginning. When I told the "customer service" person/dummy about this being unclear, he HUNG UP ON ME. I am spitting mad and hopefully have learned my lesson.

Yes all the above are correct. scam, scam, scam. I had to wait on the phone 70 minutes to cancel any future orders.
Don't order from this company, unless they change their policies! I have been billed on my credit card for a second shipment and never received it. Wow be careful.

I responded to a TRIAL offer; which I was only to be charged $4.85. Instead I got charged $40.85 & on top of that my bank ended up adding another $29.00, as my account ended up overdrawn. I can't afford to lose money like this ... I'm inches away from total financial ruin.

I ordered a SAMPLE of ACAIPURE (which I've heard only good things about) for $4.95. My bank card was charged $44.85. Tried calling toll-free # and was told there would be a 75 minute wait.

After reading all the other complaints, I decided not to wait and talk to them. Seems like it will do no good. I have emailed them and told them to change my bank card charges.

I'm having the same problem with this company - two charges to my checking account ($44.95 and 39.95), having only ordered the "free" sample. I am now on hold with the company and was told my estimated waiting time is 53minutes! I will be reporting Central Coast Nutraceutcals to the Better Business Bureau in hopes of having the funds returned to my account and having this company put out of business.

I am in schock that so many of us have been taken advantage of. I have emailed them and said DO NOT SEND ANY MORE PRODUCT AND DO NOT CHARGE ME FOR ANYTHING FURTHER, if they do, I will report it to Michael Finney on KGO radio, San Francisco CAlifornia. I received AcaiPure which I ordered, I received two items I did not order Hoodiburst gum and Hoodiewater and have been charged $44.85. I want nothing to do with Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. WHY IS THIS NOT MONITORED MORE CLOSELY. In these economic crisis we are in, this is just horrible, to say the least.
WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND, SO WATCH OUT! I HOPE THEY ARE CAUGHT. I am livid, I have printed out everything so I have proof of this whole scam.

Same as all the above, I checked first to make sure there's no follow up shipment and charges, supposed to be just a trial offer for $1.00, plus $4.95 shipping, they sent veriication on my email that it will only be $5.95. on Nov. 11, they charged my account $38.95. I did not get a second bottle, I have two charges on my account, which I did not order and cannot afford, I'm on a social security and very fixed income. Hope they refund my money back. what a rip off.

Returned trial bottle and willing to pay the $4.? for it. Had bad headache and stomach ache as result of taking the diet pills. Was sent another two bottles (did not order this) and was charged $39.95. I returned the unused order plus the trial bottle and asked for at least a credit to my card for $39.95, with the result that on my next statement I had an additional $44.90 charge on my credit card. I am very, very disappointed, especially since this was supposedly a product that was featured on Oprah. I have been calling the company continuously for the past week and have gotten a recording that informs me there is anywhere from a 70 to 50 minute wait "due to the popularity of our product." HAH! I am 75 years old and can't believe I've been taken...but then, I believed what was featured on Oprah.

I was scammed, order a trail for $4.95 and they charged me $44.80. They wont reply back to emails & I waited 55 minutes on the phone when they laughed and hung up without talking to me. Thank God it was their dime, not mine.

I ordered the free trial and paid shipping cost of $4.95 and was assured that my card would not be charged for more. 2 weeks later I have an unauthorized charge of 44.00 and some change on my card. I filed a fraudulent charge complaint with my bank and had my card cancelled in the event they try this again. An hour wait before speaking to a customer service rep is nonsense. They have yet to responded to my emails. I will send one a day until I speak with someone. This is horrible. If I even liked the product, the practice by which they do business is despicable to say the least. And Opray endorses this? She should be made aware of their practices as well.
