I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. THIS IS A TOTAL RIPP-OFF. I WAS CHARGED $39.95 AND $44.85. I RETURNED THE BOTTLE THAT WAS SENT TO ME UNOPENED AND THEY HAVE CHARGED MY ACCOUNT TWICE MAKING ME OVERDRAWN TWICE! DON'T BUY IT THEY ARE LIARS AND THEIVES!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS A FRAUD!
I am in a complete agreement with you all as well! I just put through a purchase for this product for a free trial, only paying 3.95 for shipping. I never use my card online cause of fraud companies like this and what do I see this morning? A row of 3 consecutive uauthorized charges for 44.85. I am SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOO glad I checked when I did! The [protected] and [protected] ARE AUTOMATED BOGUSS NUMBERS! YOU WILL NEVER GET THROUGH. SO DONT WASTE YOUR TIME CALLING BACK!

I purchased a free sample of ACAIPURE capsules & paid the S & H fee of $4.95. This produst was endorsed by OPRAH so I thought it was safe to buy. When I checked my checking acct. I was charged $44.85 instead. I went on line & found a letter by Caprica Brown & found she had been duped too. I called the number she called but no one answers now. I've left multiple messages and e-mails with no return.
I received a debit on my checking account in the amount of $44.85. from ACAIPURE. I did not authorize this and wanted it credited immediately and want nothing to do with this company. Please send me an email for confirmaton or call me at [protected]
they charged my account 41.85 for a free trail offer that I never received and I can't get a hold of they either via phone or email. Someone should do something about this company and Oprah should tell her viewers not to buy this product.
To whom it may concern,
I only ordered free trial of Acai Pure and I only agreed to pay for the shipping. I ordered one for myself and one for my mother. the charge for shipping is $4.95 each so I expected $9.90 to be charged to my debit card. company charge $44.85 twice to to my debit card. I called your customer service department this morning. I reached a rep who was very rude. I do have an accent, but I hae never had trouble with anyone understanding me. (I actually work on a front desk talking to patients everyday) I had to repeat myself several times. The rep was unwilling to try to understand me, he told me he has a problem with speaking to people with an accent. I then asked him if there was anyone who didn't have a problem. He told me every rep in the company only speaks english. This is discrimination. I am a US citizen. I became angry at this point and asked to talk to his boss. He hung up on me. His behavior was totally unacceptable. It took me 2 hrs to reach another rep. I explained my situation to her. she indicated there was no way to fix it the items had been shipped. because of the experience if the items arrive I will refuse the shipment and I have already disputed the charges at my bank. and will call the attorney general and report it to the better business bureau.
Me too i ordered the free sample and i was suppose to pay the $4.95 which also was suppose to be shipping withing 2 business day, I receive the order after 1week went i opened the package i saw i been charge $44.85 which include gum for $9.95 and hoodia water for $29.95 both of which i never ordered. This is a SCAM.I agree also to file a class action lawsuit.
I DID NOT ORDER THE LAST BOTTLE THAT WAS SENT THE ORDER NUMBER 1205025 DO NOT SEND NO MORE THANK YOU
i have been trying to reach someone on the phone to make sure i do not get charged anything else only wanted to try free trial. trying to get RMAnumber from customer care
I ordered a bottle of Acaipure at the price of shipping and handling after getting the as seen on Oprah show e-mails for the price of $4.95 you only pay for shipping and handling and was charged $44.85 and put on a continous billing plan. I can not get through to customer service, and the e-mail address says invalid. Where is Oprah now?
Everyone needs to file a complaint with the Arizona attorney generals office. This is a bad company
Ordered the free offer of Acaipure, supposedly praised by Oprah, with 1.95 for shipping & handling.
44.85 was charged to my credit card.
This wasa just done a couple of days ago so I haven't received anything. & I don't care. Does Oprah know?
I ORDER ONE PRODUCT AS A TRAIL INTRODUCTION AND I GOT TWO OTHER PRODUCTS THAT I DID'NT ORDER THE AMOUMT IS $ 44.85 . I DO NOT WANT YOU TO CHARGE ME . aLSO IF THE WANT ME TO SEND IT BACK THAT A PROBLEM. PLEASE CALL ME [protected].
THANKS,
kATHY
I was like everyone eles. I ordered the trial offer. I also received the gum and water I did not order. After trying to call and e-mail them about this, with no luck, I clled my credit card copany to complain. Hopefully this will not be an expenisve lesson learned
They charged me $39.95 for an item that was suppose to be $4.95 then 15 days later they have charged me $44.90 for an item that was not ordered Nor as of today has the item been received. it's going on 11days since the none authorized charge was added to my account. When I called the company, for 2 days in a row no person was available at all in any of there supposed departments to speak to me.
I just found out from the bank that instead of two charges there are 3. the $4.95 charge was charged at $44.85. That makes 2 additional charges less than 15 days apart. one at $39.95 the other at $44.90, neither approved and product was NOT received.
I also ordered a trial; was supposed to only pay S/H & was charged $45.oo. Unable to get anyone on the phone to speak to. Notified my credit card; they are investigating charges!
I too ordered the free sample only to pay postage of $4.95, but was charged $44.00 on credit card. Then later that month, theycharged me another $39.00. In Sep I was again charged $44.00
This is a total scam...
What do we need to do about this? You cannot reach them by phone, I have tried numerous times
without avail.
I did receive an email from them showing me I had requested cancellation of this product.
This is a total Scam!
I ordered a trial bottle of Acaipur for 4.95 and received 2 products that I did not order and was charged 44.85. I cannot ge through on the telephone. Something needs to be done. I am not paying for it or the shipping to send it back.
I just checked my credit card account and found a charge from Acaipure for $44+, the same as everyone else after being assured that I would only have to pay shipping for a free trial sample. What a rip-off this is. I intend to file a complaint with my credit card company.
do not want to be charged for anything else.account closed.freetrail only offer
What a joke, these people are scammers. I too just wanted the trial offer for $4.95, and was charged $44.95. No reply to my e-mail or phone calls
I WAS SCAM THE SAME WAY. IT'S A SHAME BEFORE JESUS CHRIST FOLK ARE DOING THIS TO GOOD PEOPLES. I PRAY TO JESUS SOMETHING HAPPENING TO THESE LIEING FOLKS. AND IT WILL.
I ordered a weight loss product from them on a free trial basis and was to only pay 4.95 shipping and handling. When I checked my bank account I was charged 44.85. I then looked up the name nexted to the charge and found that they are a scam. I tried to contact them by phone, but no one was available and they kept putting me off. I then emailed them and I am awaiting an answer. I contacted my bank, but in order to get any thing done I have to write them a letter disputting this.
Please let me know what to do.
Thank You
Lisa McBride
paid for free shipping ONLY and had $39.95 taken from card accnt. These people are crooks and Oprah should have to account for her involvement and advertising for these creeps !
I was on line and in my inbox it said lose wate like opra all u have to pay is $4.95 for shipping, so i gave them my credit card info, thanking that was all that they were taking, how every when i checked my bank thay had put a hold on my money for$44.85 that is not what it said .I called the bank and was told to wate untill thay took it, then the bank credit my account untill they investagate. I tried to call but i cant get anyone, that has been for at least a month.
Last month my husband order Acai Pure. This is when all our trouble began. He saw ads for the product and thought for he would try it. He said it is free all you have to do is pay the shipping and handling. I told my husband nothing is free.
But the ad states free just pay shipping and handling. Oparh advertised this product. I wonder if she know what the company is doing.
When we received the package the Acai Pure was there plus 2 items my husband said that he did not order. Hoodi Water & Hoodi Gum. We were charged $44.95. I called the company at [protected].
An automated message says that they are so busy that you will have to wait. So I waited. Next, the automated message says we are so sorry we can not take your call but if you still need to contact us e-mail us at support@centralcoastnutra.net.
So I e-mailed the company and explained that we did not order the items and would like a refund. We get an e-mail back that said if you keep the items we will refund you $15. I again e-mailed the company and said I do not want to keep your Acai Pure or the Hoodi Water or gum. They never replied back.
We returned the package and had the post office do a conformation of package received. That was 2 weeks ago.
Today I was checking my bank account and there was another withdraw of money from our account for Acai Pure for $39.95. I hit the roof. I called my bank and filed a dispute and to stop any more being withdraw from our account.
So not only are we out the $44.95 we are now out $39.95. I decided to check the website out to see exactly what was going on.
If you go to the website they have you fill in your name & address to see if there is anymore free Acai Pure for your state. I filled the blanks in Bozo The Clown with a mad up address and zip code.
Next it said that for only $4.95 you can try Acai Pure. All you have to do is give them your credit card information. At the side they offer you the Hoodi Gum & Water. If you do not uncheck the boxes then you will get the Hoodi Water & Gum. But the ad does not tell you that.
Then at the bottom of the ad in very fine print. I had to copy and paste into word and then bring the font up to even read it. But here is the disclaimer at the bottom of their ad.

I am reporting the company to the Florida States Attorneys Office. I e-mailed them to cancel my husband membership no one returns your e-mail. This is a scam. If you notice by ordering the Acai Pure you are becoming a member. So they will charge you $39.95 per month.
I am sending a copy of this to Oprah. I hope that she will not support this company. I wonder how much they paid her for the ad.
Companies like this is why our country is in a mess.
This Organization also sells items for 7 other companies. My husband just spoke with our bank and they stated that they could not reach the company either. Since we filed a dispute they are refunding our money.
Buyer Beware
Kathy
i was charged for items that i did not order. iwas charged 44.85 and it was suppose to be 1.95
I also was overcharged for Acai Pure. I ordered the "free trail sample" for S&H charges only of $4.95, but my account was charge $44.85. I was unable to get through to the customer service dept. and got no response to my email. I had to cancel my credit card to keep further charges from being applied. I did report this company to the Ferdeal Trade Commission and the Internet Fraud Divison of the FBI, and since this company had Oprah Winfreys face on their website I emailed her also. She needs to be aware that a company that is claiming she endorses their product is actually ripping people off.
suppose to get product to try for 4.95. have been billed and sent 2 months so far
Ditto on all of the above. Feel pretty stupid and frustrated!
I received an e-mail solicitation from AcaiPure, using Oprey Winfrey's indorsement. The site said there would be a $1.95 shipping charge on the FREE trial. The next day I was billed $41.85. When I called AcaiPure, someone actually answered the phone. They said they sent me extra products by mistake.
I told the representative to cancel me from ALL connections with his company. Now, a few days ago, AcaiPure has charged me $39.95. I had to put a stop on my Visa card. I have notified my Attorney General's office of these crooks. Don't delay! Contact your state's Attorney General's office today! Also, if you know Oprey's (Agent's) e-mail address, let her know now! Stop Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc./AcaiPure from scamming another day. O, and now they don't even answer the phone!
I also was charged for two products that was not listed in the ad on line.
Like all the others. Ordered sample and have recieved additional charges to my account for a total of 84.85 plus the shipping and handling of 4.95. Not pleased with the product and cannot get anyone to answer the phone number when I call. I agree with everyone else it is a rip off
Ordered their product for a one time trial...Now they keep sending more, even though I didn't order it. They keep charging my credit card...How can I get them to stop?
Is this going to do any good to complain?
yes sir, i did not order all this, and i want my money back on my credit card .
I just sent for the free stuff to try .
my order no. is 1191384and 1272979
just send back my money
I have just received an email from Nubodi with regards to this debacle, and hopefully, I can reprint it all here:

My reply to their email:
Yes I did finally get through...after waiting on hold for 40 minutes. Your terms should be prominently displayed in your ad, without having to click on an obscure link. At the VERY least, a sentence stating "Please refer to our terms BEFORE ordering" should appear where potential customers can see it. I fell for it, as did many others. I have created a "Warning" for potential customers as to the hidden problems of ordering not only from your sites, but from others that are set up like yours. "Fine print" may be as old as the hills, but people must be made aware of any potential hidden places that "fine print" may be hidden, and changes must be made so that customers do not feel as if they've been "taken".
I also wish to thank you for your email acknowledging my cancellation, as it will confirm same to my bank. Since it was only a minor inconvenience to cancel my card, and I'll be issued a new account, any attempts by you to access the old number will enable them to red flag your company, or any of your subsidiaries. I intend to post this email on my "warning" site. Thank you!
This was done from the day I ordered ... (yes, I fell for it too)...and I received their answer today.
People MUST be made aware of the hidden terms and conditions that apply when you see "Just pay shipping and handling"...it's another term for: "You signed up for it, now you're committed to it"
I also wrote to Oprah...I don't really expect an answer. As to the State attorney general and the better business bureau, don't bother. It all comes down to "buyer beware". I was lucky enough to take care of MY stupid decision the same day I made it. Next time I want to order something, I'll check out ALL the complaint boards to see what other consumers have been put through before I "click" on a "good" offer.
I offer my own experience as a GREAT example of what to do...and what NOT to do. I made a mistake. I corrected it. The best advice I can give ANYONE is to not order from these places in the first place...but if you see something that you TOTALLY "can't resist"...PLEASE...look VERY THOROUGHLY at the site...make sure you understand what you're getting yourself into. If there isn't any information on the site, CHECK IT OUT. There are so many forums like this one, including "Pissed Consumer.com" that can alert you to potential problems, and let you know what others have been through.
I was charged for this product, never purchased, I might have checked the website after it was sent to my email
