I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. This is the worst thing, ever. Somebody has to stop this its ridiculous. I ordered this thinking I only had to pay $4.95 for shipping and handling and was charged $44.95. I was upset but kept the product. Again they charged $39.95 to my account when I didn't even ask for anything. I am unemployed and this is really hurting me. Something has to be done to stop them.

I thought I was ordering a free trial of AcaiPure only to pay shipping charge of $4.95 Instead I got charged $44.85 and received Hoodia Water and Gum I have no intention of using.. or wanting... I will not pay for these items .. and if they want them back they can come and get them..

I ordered the free trial bottle of AcaiPure and was to be billed $4.95 for shipping...When it arrived there was a package of gum that I never heard of or ordered. The return policy says I have to contact the customer care and get a return number to send it back and there will be a 15% stocking fee...Big rip off

I just received my delivery of 3 products, 1 was the acaipure free trial offer, and the other 2 that I didn't order. 1 was hoodiburst Gum, I were dentures and can't chew gum, I haven't for 20 yrs, so why would I order this! the 2nd was Hoodiawater! Come on $29.95 for water! I didn't see anything regarding these other 2 products, and maybe there was small print, but how small & where?
Why can't anyone find the original web page and why can't anyone get a hold of their customer service? Because this is not a reputable company!
At least I will file a complaint on line with BBB, so they know whats going on.
I contactedmy credit card company, hopefully they will get some results.
Lessons learn! Good Luck Everyone!

My complaint has been filed with the federal trade commission.Your product that I did not order has been returned and not opened, you have billed my credit card two times for products I did not authorize you to send out, I am expecting this matter will be resolved soon, if not I will do what I have to to correct this situation.

The same thing happened to me. They keep charging my account and won't cancel it. I'm so frustrated. I contacted them via email and by phone. No reply. I am going to have to cancel my debit card on Monday. What a scam! How can Oprah back this product?

I responded to a free internet offer for a sample of the Acaipure product for shipping cost only--$4.95. My account was billed $14.95 and I was sent the free prduct and a pack of gum for $10, which I had not requested. I have since been charged another $39.95 and I have no idea what that is for. I will be contacting my bank tomorrow. I tried on numerous occasions to call the Acaipure Customer Service number but it is always busy. Please help. Thank you!

I was grossly overcharged like so many of the others. The only reason I ordered, besides the free sample and $1.95 shipping, is my husband saw that it was endorsed by Oprah. Does she know about the scam?

I elected to try the free offer by this company. Now they are sending me thier product without my and charging my accout $44.90. I am really upset and will not stand for this kinda ripoff.
They won't answer the phone or let you leave a message. Infact they hang up after running you around on there recording.

Originally last month I signed up for a free sample after reading Oprah Winfrey had lost weight with this product. The product arrived but I was afraid to try it because of certain medical problems I have. I did not return it then as I thought it was a free sample. Then when my visa statement arrived I found not one but two charges from Acaipure. One on 9/2/08 for $44.85 and one on 9/22/08 for $39.95. Then two days ago - without any order being made by me - another bottle from Acaipure arrived with an invoice of $44.90 stating this amount would be charged to my credit card. What kind of a scam is this? I am going to report this directly to the Better Business Bureau and am returning ALL this product today and these charges had better be reversed on my credit card

What a rip-off! I only ordered the 'free' offer for $4.95 shipping/handling and instead got 2 products not ordered and a charge of $44.95. Like the rest of complaints no one answers the phone, so don't bother to waste your time and energy. They use Oprah as a reference...so I think everyone should also send e-mails to her about this!

Have just learned from this site that many others have had the same experience. Ordered 1 item for free plus $4.95 S & H. Received 2 other items (which I did not order) and was charged $44.85 immediately--not in the 30 days as claimed. Free item received broken. Unable to reach by phone or email to resolve this matter OR to receive their "RMA (return merchandise authorization) number". I am planning to sign an authorization to my bank to have this charge removed. Cancelling my existing card seems to be the only way to avoid further charges from Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. in Largo, FL.

I too got sucked in by the "free trial offer" meaning that I thought I was just paying for the $4.95 s & h charge but then got a $44.95 charge on my account. After calling they did credit my account for this charge...I told the man on the phone that I only wanted the "sample item" nothing else...not the monthly service JUST the sample product. At no time did he remind me that I had to return the items within 14 days or I would be charged $39.95 for the remaining balance.. Guess what? This charge showed up on my account today. And after calling inquiring about it, I was told that I was still on their plan to receive it every month! He cancelled any additional shipments but said that I had agreed to the $39.95 charge in the terms & conditions..I don't even remember seeing any when agreeing to the FREE sample.

What a scam! It is this type of thing that makes me HATE doing business over the internet...

Count me in on a class action suit...boy we're we deceived!

I was VERY surprised to find that my "Free" sample included the other two products and that I was charged $44.85. Not to mention that there is a 15% "restocking fee" if you send it back. This should be against the law ! I also think that it is strange that I was charged $4.95 shipping while the USPS charged them $2.54. This is THE MOST DISHONEST company that I have ever dealt with !

Acai Pure strikes again...I was charged $41.85 for Hoodiburst gum and Hodiawater which was conveniently mailed with
the free sample. So much for Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. They don't like their product or stand behind it so they get
to you with their little scam. Email support@centralcoastnutra.net and let them know. Their support number is always
busy so this is he only way to get to them. I decided to get my money's worth by emailing the complain board sites. I also
beleive in Karma. The honest people are emailing these sites and the dishonest work for Aci Pure.

If only I had "googled" this product before ordering. Maybe I would not be amongst the growing population of dissatisfied consumers! How many of us didn't notice the "pre selected" items attached to our orders? It's ridiculous! So now instead of selecting the items we want, items are automatically preselected and it's our responsibility to make sure we clear those bubbles, otherwise...I am more than pissed! Fortunately, I made my purchase w/ my checkcard, so it was just a matter of contacting the bank, filing a claim and canceling the card. Don't just think you can have the bank credit the amount. If CCN deviates the amount by even a penny, they can continue to charge you again and again. This will definitely be my last and final online purchase.

I'm so glad I Googled AcaiPure before I ordered it. Thanks for all your comments they've saved me a lot of money and hassle. I bet they are using Oprah's name without her knowledge. Oprah dosen't need to endorse anything, shes' loaded.

I received my order of Acaipure and was only charged $1.95 for shipping. I didn't know about the Oprah endorsement, I was looking online for a weight supplement. Actually, I didn't know it was a colon cleanser but I am thrilled that it is. I needed one! I have been using the product for 2 days and have no problems to report. Actually, it is doing the colon cleanse quite well. I have no complaints thus far and am really sorry for anyone who has had a bad experience with this company.

I am another victim - exactly same - was ordering free sample and agreed to pay shipping for $4.95 turned out to be charged for $44.95. Yes, $40.00 for water & gum I hadn't ordered!
The product was not shipped until sometime after the 3 week - I went on 9 days' trip after 3 weeks and it's too late to arrange return/refund after coming back - just past the 30 days term. And worse thing is - they did it monthly - no phone call was answered!

Now I got $80.00 unwanted stuffs to return - still not sure when will get thru the phone line to get a return number ...
And base on previous complaint, there will be re-stocking fee 15%!?
I am thinking of closing the credit card account to stop future billing/shippment...

YES, I AGREE TO HAVE A LAW SUIT

I also ordered the free sample. When it finally arrived, they sent the incorrect product. I managed to speak to one of the Customer Service people, complaining that the wrong product had been sent. They told me to either keep what I'd recived or trash it, and they would send the correct product, with in the next few days. At the time of this phone call, I also informed them to take my name of their list, due to a family illnes back home in Australia...I would be departing the USA in early November. I've just checked my Bank Statement and noticed this Company has debited $ 39.95 for a product I specifically stated on the phone I *NO* longer required. Considering, having not received the correct product to start with...how in the heck could I know whether this product did ALL they said it would. I've been trying to contact a Customer Service Assistant for over an hour and am continually told...*ALL CS ASSISTANTS ARE BUSY*...

I want to warn everyone of this company and how they scam people.
I ordered a trial of the Acai pur for $1.95 shipping. When the charge went through on my credi card it was for $41.85. They added products for Hoodia that I did not order. I emailed their customer service department two days after ordering the trail offer to cancel my order, with no response. I received the products almost a month after ordering and still have not been contacting by their customer service department so I can return their products, I have emailed and called numerous times. I have not tried anything they have sent me and do not want to. My bank is still fighting this dispute.

I received an offer on my website, it was for FREE 30 day supply of some wonder supplement. All I had to do was pay S/H of $4.95, and cancel within the next 30 days or I would get another 30 days worth charged to my credit card. When the package came they included additional 12 pc. pack of gum and 1 fl. oz. bottle of treated water and a receit for $44.85. They charged my credit card company for these additional items. I had to give them my card # to cover the postage and handeling charges to get the FREE 30 day supply. They billed me without even asking, and of course they didn't make any mistakes, They told me I must have made the mistake. It's taken 3 more days of calling to get RMA#, (Return Merchandise Authorization number) The supervisor said I would lose my dispute with them so I should just keep what I have because their not going to give me back any money. I was in touch with my credit card company and I'm disputing the additional charges they made on my card.

I strongly agree that this website is malicious and I will report them to Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax of probable fraud by this company who sells this product. They actually say in large letters "Free Trial" for $1.95 shipping and handling. I tried to cancel within 15 minutes, but found I can't ever get anyone to answer and the message I left on their machine was never returned. Also, in very small print, apparently I joined a Club, and through these complaints I found out thay there
nd out that there is a "restocking fee" for anything that is returned. If I am charged for anything again, then I will again dispute it as an unauthorized charge on my credit, contact Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax, also contact a consumer advocacy group, the ADA (I am disabled), and anyone else I can think of. Anything I received from them, I will consider it unsolicited, and therefore, mine to keep without paying one cent. Also, when I tried to print my order, it printed the page without any of my information, so I'll have to check all my cards for any unauthorized charges, and everything will start on that day.
