I am filing a complaint against Ace Hardware Oxford Alabama 36203 for the worse service I have ever received in my life. I came in on 9/1/23 and found deer magnet seed for 39.99 a bag and I ordered 7 bags. I was leaving for vacation and asked if this could be put back for me and I could come pick it up later. I was told of course if you purchase now. So I made the purchase. Fast forward to today, 9/11/2023 and I go in to pick up my 7 bags of seed and they are gone, no one put my seed back and there is only 3 bags left. All I get is the old I am sorry and I can refund you your money, or I can sell you the 3 bags or sell u cheaper seed at a discount price. As I waiting on the cheaper seed because I really have no choice because I have to have it, I am then told the deer magnet seed price was marked wrong from a lady up front. The new price was marked up to $59.99 a bag not the $39.99 a bag I purchased mine for. I am sure my seed never got put back because it was realized the price was marked wrong and my seed that I already paid for was sold. Well, a refund does not cut it, i'm sorry is not good enough and now I am stuck with seed that I did not want that I have to keep because I have a tractor coming this week to plant, because of complete ineptitude from a lack luster bunch of folks that have no care for customer service.
Desired outcome: I had to purchase the crappy seed bc of a time crunch. My desired outcome is that I keep this crappy seed that I did not want in the 1st place and receive a full refund on the purchase I did not get.
