Warranty
Last year I called Everdry and I was told I'll get a call to tell me the time the inspection will happened. This call never happened. Months later I went to the hospital due to complications with Cancer/COVID. No one ever contacted me about the basement issue.
The basement is starting to show humidity issues again. I called Everdry to ensure the warranty was paid because I understand they do not stand behind their work. I spoke with two representatives who were informed about the status of my warranty. Both representatives I spoke with, on 10/17 and 10/18 stated I can pay the warranty through the website. I did this.
I got a message from Sara Taylor stating I had to pay $175 for an inspection because my warranty lapse.
During my conversation with Sara Taylor, she stated I was going to be charged $175 for Everdry to come out and inspect the property. I explained to Ms. Taylor I paid the wary. She stated I was also going to be charged for labor and materials. I explained I paid the warranty and she stated she's going to request a refund for the warranty paid, since ai should not have been allowed to pay it.
I requested they fulfill their warranty as it was offered, they sent me an email saying they are neither going to fulfill the warranty nor sent an inspector to check their work. Due to a one star review I left them
Desired outcome: Fullfil their warranty and correct their mistakes
Poor service
I had my basement waterproofed 11 years ago. They did a decent job, and they were pretty fast originally. When I've had a sump pump go out or something small, they're pretty quick to come out and give me a new one. Other times when I've needed bigger work, they have been really slow to come out and do the work. Recently I went under contract to sell the house, and the day of closing the buyer did a walkthrough and to all of our surprise, there was water in the basement. We called Everdry multiple times to get them to finally come out 2 weeks later to do a quick look. They told me what they had to do in order to fix it, which they said could be done in 1 day. I had to call in and schedule an appointment. For 1 week, I called multiple times per day trying to get them to give me an appointment to get the work done. Finally a week later, they told me they'd come out more than 2 months later! Super frustrating! I'm under contract to buy a house, I've got a buyer for my house. I can't close on my house, so I'm going to lose that, and my buyer does not want to wait for 2 months to see if Everdry will do the work right. Since I have to gut a bathroom and tear out most of the walls in the basement in order for them to redo the work, I've got some real big expenses, a 2+ month delay and I'm going to lose my buyer and lose the house I want to buy! Disaster! If they could come out and do it right away, we would still have the expense of rebuilding our basement, but at least I could keep my house and buyer. I can't get them to understand the extreme importance here. It seems they don't really care.
Sub-Par repairs on damage done during work process
In August 2014, I among a lot of Detroit residents experienced flooding in our homes. As a result I contacted Everdry Waterproofing and signed a contract to have my basement waterproofed. In November 2014 the contractors came and out completed the job., Since that time I have been constantly contacting the company in an effort to get a yard light repaired...

System not installed properly
In 1997 they sold me a waterproofing system, consisting of tiling my house and installing a sump pump. I have a patio in the back that is a bit low. The tile starts at the back corner of the patio, and I was told that any excess water on the patio would just "go into the tile". I was naive. I didn't get other estimates. Everdry WAY overcharges. You can post a bid on Craigslist and get five or six or seven contractors out to your house to discuss things. DO THIS. After several years of stress at a sump well running like the Mississippi during heavy rain I contacted a man I found on Craigslist who had just quit Everdry to go out on his own.
I wanted him to tile my patio better, hoping this would improve things. He did that, and then started questioning me about my situation. He told me it should NEVER have been done like that. He said there should have been a check valve installed in the tile in that corner that would prevent runoff from going into my sump. The upper tile is not supposed to act as a drainage tile for my patio.
I would ask technicians out to replace a sump pump about my excessive water and they would say nothing. My new contractor said there should have been a tile installed around the patio and out to the creek to discharge this patio water.
Everydry is coming to day. We'll see if they make this right or I am suing.
A statute of limitations is for a crime like a felony not for consumer protection.

Really? Craigslist for reputable contractors?
Hey: the best place to get candy is that dilapidated looking blue van on the corner too.
Moral: do not automatically think that because a competitor to a company (PARTICULARLY a former employee with an axe to grind?!?) calls that company 'overpriced' that they actually are overpriced. Perhaps you should engage in some intelligence and actually determine if what they're offering for cheap actually is solving the problem regarding WHY the foundation is allowing the water through it, or wasting your money in an futile effort to simply make it "less wet" around your house.
HINT: A basement doesn't leak because there is water outside, just like a roof doesn't leak just because it rained hard. A sound basement will repel water, regardless of where it originates. Make sense?

Sometime ago when the basement was continually getting wet, I was at a loss. Where to go, who to call.
I called several basement contractors and one company stood out, Everdry! Their repair suggestion and price was, well, better.
Everdry was hired, myself knowing nearly nothing about residential construction. I was surprised with the simplicity of the explanation and Andy’s efforts to keep me informed.
The work was done and completed to (even greater than) my satisfaction.
I will not only refer Everdry but would actually pitch them to people when I find out they need basement repair.

To Everdry,
Bill was the first contact I had with your company. Bill did a good job of explaining how the waterproofing is done and the choices offered by your company.
In March, the men came to start the work. Ben explained everything that would be done. I was very impressed with the efficiency of the workers and how well they all worked together.
As the work was in progress, Ben showed me what was being done to give me a better understanding of the waterproofing job.
I chose the Multi-Step system with the lifetime service agreement. I am very pleased Everdry did the work on my home. They pride themselves on leaving the house clean after the job, which I especially appreciated.
Sincerely,
A.P.

Cheated me out of product & mislead me
In July 2010 i contacted Everdry. A rep named Jim came to my house and sold me and my husband basement waterproofing, a battery back up pump, an easy breeze system and life time warranty on all. But we had to pay monthly fee for battery back up pump. On July 15th {4} men showed up to start work on my basement July 16th they were done.
Within the next two weeks we noticed many cracks uneven cement and my husband noticed there was no battery back up pump. I contacted company on August 4th. I have never been able to speak with Jim since I signed our contract with him. I contacted Home Projects Visa to stop payment. They have since refused to do so telling me I have to work it out with Everdry. I have spoken with many rude people or people that just can't help me from Everdry. I have sent two letters of complaint to everdry and home project Visa and have been ignored since. I financed with Visa $9350.00.
Also the easy breeze system that I bought was to eliminate my need of dehumidifier remove pet hair dust and dander from my house and circulate fresh air thru out it does none of that. I want it removed and was told by Frank that it cost $1500.00. Robert told Visa they would remove it and reimburse the cost of unit {without stating how much} and when I called him on 9-21-10 to remove he then wanted an agreement with me that I was happy with everything else. And the unit now only costs $1300.00. I told him no he would not set appointment and I have had no more verbal contact. I wrote a second letter of complaint and I have been ignored. My second letter to Everdry and Visa was mailed on 9-24-10 I request again the easybreathe system be removed deduct $1500.00 the battery. I didn't get deduct $1500.00 deduct another $3000.00 for the shabby work that Frank looked at and agreed it should be done over. And I am willing to finance through Visa $3350.00.
I am looking at everdry to rework my basement now. Can you tell me if they ever made good on their installation. I am very concerned as this is a large project. If they do not do a good job this could really damage my home.
Still leaks
We had our basement "waterproofed" by Everydry 14 year ago and it STILL leaks! We have called numerous times, they schedule a time to come out, and sometimes they do and other times they never show. They came out again in August, took pics and said they would be in touch soon. NOTHING! It was the worse $8000 we ever spent. We have contacted another company for another opinion and they can not believe the shotty job that was done. Our drain runs out the back of our house, up hill, so the water all runs back down to the house. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out the water will run back down! Stay away from Everdry. I know we are not the only ones with these ongoing problems.

Everdry Waterproofing - Complaints
My Choice Is EVERDRY BASEMENT WATERPROOFING! My grandfather got water in his basement for a year or so, and he wanted to get estimates and see exactly what it would take and how much it would cost. We had Permaseal, US Waterproofing, Safeguard, & Everdry Waterproofing out for estimates. My grandfather really didnt like any of the solutions except for Everdry's. They were more expensive, but more knowledgable and the solutions worked. It has been 7 years now, and not a leak ever since. Now, I have a house of my own, and my first and only call was Everdry Basement Waterproofing. The price might be more, but it is worth it 100%. My house is my largest investment!

JGotti,
Wow! Great to read! On a site called "Complaintsboard", to find a positive review…well, it is a great way to start my Friday. I'm glad we could help your grandfather. I know not everyone loves to go through the educational aspect of our inspections, but it really does show what's going on, why the issue is occurring, and what all can be done. In the end, a knowledgable homeowner is better off.
Keep in mind that your grandfather has a warranty for the life of his home…transferrable to whomever owns the home. Give us a call if anything coms up.

Not Very Honest
Our experience with Everdry started back in late July when a door to door salesperson came to our house wondering if we wanted someone to inspect our foundation for free with no strings attached. This guy, Stuart Mutzfeld, came out and inspected our foundation then proceeded to hard sell us for 4 hrs. on their line of waterproofing product. I did not have a job at the time and we were not sure if we would be able to afford there services, so we asked for some time to think about it. They had a form that they told us would hold the price they offered us but would not bind us to any services for 3 days. 2 days later we decided we did not want the service and declined it. Stuart came back to our house under the guise of needing to be there in person to cancel the deal and when he showed up he had another salesperson, Mike, with him and they proceeded to hard sell us again. Again we thought about it for a day and called the next day and declined the service. We thought this was the end of it. A couple of months later a sales man called from Everdry to try to get us to commit but I declined and told him we did not feel comfortable with there hard selling tactics, he did not even mention they still had us on some list to have the work done. Time passed again and in December they called us to tell us it was time to do the work, a little annoyed by this time we told them to please stop calling us and take us off any list they may have. A few days later we got a bill for $3, 795 for services and/or supplies that never happened and we didn't want. I went in to talk to them and all they had to say were lies about what was said and the verbal deal their salesman offered us. They prey on your fears and scare you into contracts that, even if they are legal, are not moral the way they handle the sales. If they come to your door do not let them in and by all means do not sign anything, even if they say it is safe and unbinding.
I have had a horrible experience with Everdry! I am a 67 year old woman trying to make it on my own. I told the salesman that I was hearing something in my walls. He assured me that their service would take care of the problem. After having paid my down payment it took forever for them to come and do the job. They came and made a total mess. Mud everywhere...my door, my doormat, my siding, my walls. In the back of my house in a certain spot use to be rock, not anymore. I was charged $16, 000 and I still have something in my walls and the rock has never been replaced! I have called them numerous times with no results. I would never recommend them! I feel like I have totally been taken advantage of!
I see we've got some mature feedback here!
I've actually seen this exact same post on [redacted], and the AUTHOR of THIS EXACT POST, said it was a misunderstanding, and that everything was resolved, and that Everdry was a reputable company. Sounds like hk is right... @toads @ragon @ann. Certainly do your research before hiring a company and get all the facts, but I'm talking from experience, Everdry has been a great company to work with.
Something seems fishy about this comment...
Bad Company
Everdry waterproofing was hired to do waterproofing in my home about 15 years ago and with in 2 years my basement was wetter then it ever had been. We spent over $10, 000 to waterproof the basement, to this day I get water all over the basement that makes it so I can not use it for what I want to use it.They did such a bad job I would never and have not told anyone who wanted to get their basement waterproof to use them. I have told friends and family NOT to use this company. To this day I get a lot of water and I don't have the money to get the job done right. I should have done more checking on companys, !
I also had Everdry install a waterproof system around 14 years ago. My basement floor is always damp, I had Everdry back out to inspect the basement, I was told my gutters may need to be cleaned, the gutters are free of any debris and no restrictions in the downspouts. I was also told the waterproofing system I was sold or the one that was installed was the incorrect system for my damp basement floor, the walls are always dry, it is the basement floor that is the issue. After making many calls, I got no action from Everdry just excuses!
In conclusion, if anyone has had great results that is great! and to those who are in search of a waterproofing system, good luck with your choice of waterproofing companies.

Bad service
Three neighbors called to ask this company to NOT leave their blue, 6" x 12" advertising cards in the doors, hanging from door knobs. Homes which are unoccupied for various reasons, e.g. vacations, foreclosure, hospitalizations, etc. are targeted by these blue cards by criminals. This company left cards both prior to, and immediately after the Christmas holiday. They refuse to help. We've suggested using postcards and the postal system as a more efficient and less expensive alternative, yet they REFUSE to help us out. I can not imagine using this company just out of the disrespect they exhibit, let alone the absence of good, common sense!
Bad experience
Horrible experience with everdry, will never recommened them to anyone! Very pushy salesmen and mislead us to what was covered by their warranty. Estimate was supposed to take 2 hrs...salesman was at our home for 4. We contacted the main office just to make sure what the salesmen said was legitamite...of course it was not. Very dissappointed with the company. Owner did call an apologize though and the home office had coustomer service. That was the only good thing.
Terrible Company
To anyone reading this: whatever you do, DO NOT ever even consider hiring Everdry to do your basement waterproofing. This is a company that charges an astronomical amount of money but your basement just keeps filling with water. We had our basement done 5 years ago, and there have been problems since the very beginning. The people they send out don't know what they're doing. They don't fix anything. And when you're knee-deep in water and call the company, they aren't available, and they just don't care. We have nicknamed them "Neverdry". Save yourself a lot of money and a lot of headaches. Everydry does shoddy work and is a bad company.

I totally agree. They also are irresponsible with paperwork and "loose" documentation with information like your social, address, name, drivers license number, etc.
SHODDY WORK
THE COMPANY WAS HIRED FOR MOLD REMOVAL . THE SALESMAN MADE A CONTRACT WITH A 83 YEAR OLD FEMALE WHO IS PARTIALLY DEAF AND WAS SUFFERING FROM BEGINNING STAGES OF DEMENTIA WHICH WAS LATER DOCUMENTED BY DR. AKRAM IN HERMITAGE PA. THE Y TOOK SO LONG TO RETURN A LETTER FROM HER ATTORNEY MR.GERALD CROWLEY OF ELLWOOD CITY.APRIL 10 2007, AND ASKED FOR THE RETURN OF HER $3, 000.00 DEPOSIT. THERE WAS NOM RESPONSE FOR MONTHS AND THEN ONE DAY THEY APPEARED. THEY WENT INTO THE BASEMENT WITH OUT FIRST CONSULTING AN ELECTRICIAN OR HOUSING INSPECTOR. WE HEARD ALOT OF DRILLING AND WHEN WE ATTEMPTED TO SEE THE PROBLEM THERE WAS A SHEET OF PLASTIC COVERING THE WHOLE DOOR. WE THE FAMILY WERE TOLD THAT THEY WERE WATERPROOFING THE HOUSE. IT SEEMS THAT NO PLANS WERE SHOWN UNTIL AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE MONTHS LATER. WE NOW HAVE A CELLAR THAT IS WET THE EVERDRY WATERPROOFERS DID NOT SHOW ANY PROOF THEY WERE EDUCATED ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THE BASEMENT WALLS WERE CRACKED, THE CONCRETE FLOOR DUG OUT ABOUND THE PERIMETER AND FRENCH DRAINS WERE PUT THERE. THE BIGGEST TRAGEDY WAS THAT THEY TOOK AWAY THE FOUNDATION IN THE BASEMENT AN REPLACED THE WALL INSIDE WITH PLASTIC BATHROOM FLASHING. WE HAD SEVERAL CONSULTANTS COME IN AND LOOK OVER THE MESS. TO DATE THE BASE OF THE HOUSE WAS THROWN OVER TO THE WEEDY PART OF THE YARD. STILL WITH OUT ANY TO INSPECT AND NO BUILDING PERMIT WAS SEEN THE JOB WAS ILLEGAL AND THE CONTRACT WAS CANCELLED LEGALLY I AM BARBARA, THE OLDEST DAUGHTER OF MAE WITH A E-MAIL ADDRES S. AND A WITNESS CONTACTING YOU . I HAVE POWER OF ATTORNEY AND THE CAREGIVER .I AM NOT A SECRETARY SO THIS WILL NOT BE WRITTEN CORRECTLY LIKE A SECRETARY WOULD. WE CALLED THE COMPANY TO CHECK OUT THE MESS AND THEY AGREED THE JOB WAS INCORRECT. WE HAVE LEARNED THAT SOMETIMES THEY DUG UP PEOPLE'S FLOORS AND DID NOT PUT FRENCH DRAINS IN THERE . THE WORST OF IT IS THEY EVERDRY WATERPROOFING GOT THE MONEY FROM CAPITAL ONE LOANS BY SAYING THE JOB WAS HOME IMPROVEMENT. THIS IS NOT TRUE BECAUSE BY THE FOUNDATION BEING REMOVED THE WALLS ARE EXPOSED TO DIRT INTERNALLY .AND BEING OLD WITH WOOD AND MORTAR THE WALLS ARE CRACKING. THE ELECTRIC PLUGS ARE SHORTING OUT, CATCHING ON FIRE AND THE HOUSE IS FREEZING NO MATTER HOW HIGH THE THERMOSTAT. IT IS LIKE LIVING IN A CAVE. I AM A MEMBER OF THE ELLWOOD CITY PLANNING COMMISSION AND THERE ARE NUMEROUS CODE VIOLATIONS. THE MONTHLY PAYMENT IS $146.71 ON A $12, 000 LOAN AND IT IS SO WRONG . WE CONTACTED THE DIFFERENT OFFICES OF CAPITAL ONE AND GOT TRANSFERRED TO PAY THE BILL IN ATLANTA GA.WE I AM SURE THAT THEY SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT. MAE IS ON A SET INCOME AND IT IS SO STRESSFUL. TO ALL OF US . CORDS ARE MELTING THAT ARE PLUGGED IN THE DIFFERENT ROOMS. THE RE HAS TOBE A SOLUTION. I CONTACTED THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IN PITTSBURGH BUT WE DID NOT HAVE THE CONTRACT THAT WAS A YELLOW SHEET OF PAPER- ONE PAGE WITH A FEW LINES ON A SQUARE TO EXPLAIN THE SHODDY WORK. IT WILL COST THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE AND MAE IS SO FORGETFUL SHE DOES NOT EVEN REMEMBER WHO SHE TALKED TO OR WHAT THEY SAID.THE OFFICE ON AGING SAYS I HAVE RIGHTS TO HELP HER THIS WAY. MANY OF THE WORKERS QUIT THE COMPANY AND EXPLAINED THAT THEY DID NOT FOLLOW THE RULES THEY MADE MESSES. SINCE THE FLOOR WAS PAVED OVER WE HAVE NO WAY OF CHECKING THE JOB. THE SUMP PUMP ALLOWS RATS FREE ACCESS TO THE CELLAR AND THERE ARE EXTENSION CORDS HANGING DOWN FROM THE CEILING. THE WIRING CAN NOT HANDLE IT.THERE ARE TICKING NOISES WHEN THE THERMOSTAT CLICKS ON AND OFF. FRENCH DRAINS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OUTSIDE THE HOSE IN THE GROUND INCHES AWAY FROM THE HOUSE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

My 80 year old parents received a cold call stating that a man would be in the area for a free inspection of there home and asked if they would like him to stop by to look at there basement. The guy showed up Flynn was his name went into toe basement and wrote them an estimate for 30 THOUSAND DOLLARS! They were shocked and said they could get started RITE AWAY! Upon speaking to my dad he told me I would have to move some of my things around in the basement because he had to have this work done! I was shocked to see the estimate and called IHN foundation repair. They came out on a SUNDAY, said they wouldn't give my father an estimate witout doing exporatoy work just to see exactly what needed to be done. MONDAY morning 8am sharp they were out here took up concrete in 2 places ran water through the system and WALLA! It was 6500 and they were out the door finished with permits approved, electical sump pump installed, concrete in, and you could eat off the floor! I had everdry provide me a quote their first bid was 58000 2nd was 35000 third that’s 17000 no thanks after having three other reputable companies bid on my foundation repair all 3 said everdry bid on your home right when I told them the dollar amount - yes they have quite the reputation- scammers
Dear wlhomeowner, I must apologize. The original diagnosis and price for repair should have stuck. I believe we changed our price to EARN your business and should not have. I am sure we tried piecing the repair together instead of sticking with the original plan.
You see, your basement was originally protected by a "system", like the roof protects the upstairs and main floor with a system of roof shingles, gutters, and downspouts. And when that system dies and issues are noticeable, it is only proper that the whole system be replaced. Others can quote much cheaper prices by doing just the interior though the water flows through your walls and should be addressed before it has the chance to attack the walls and feed the mold. Or the job is only done in one area, typically where water has been seen on the inside. How incredibly short-sited! But that lower price sure will sound way more attractive than doing the right thing for the home and for your family. And it is there where our inspector made his mistake. We cannot try to compete with pricing. Where we excel is doing the ethical work for the home.
And these 3 companies had something less than positive to say about us? Shocking! (sarcasm intended) When you are the nation's largest waterproofing company (and much larger than that in southeastern Wisconsin), you sure do get a lot of potshots. But we warranty for life and have been in business now for 30 years now. Hard to keep a supposed "scam" going that long with such results. 10, 000 homes waterproofed and warrantied forever, transferrable to whomever owns the house.
Before contracting with one of those other 3, please ask how long their warranty lasts. And when it has an end date, ask why they don't back up their work for the long haul. Oh, and ask how long they've been in business. Easy to warranty for 20 years when you've been in business for less than 10.
Anyway, I hope your foundation gets the attention it no doubt needs. And when the work fails, give us a call. We'll be around. ;)
Yours,
Matthew Flynn

Everdry Waterproofing
Gregg,
I am the inspector that inspected your parents basement. Though I cannot recall the exact diagnosis, I CAN tell you that a "partial" fix is NOT a good way of handling waterproofing issues. Your parents, as with all homes built in Wisconsin, are built with a "system" to keep the basement protected from the harsh weather and moist ground of Southeastern Wisconsin. That system could include tar on the porous cement, drain tiles to whisk the water away, sump pump to pump the water from those drain tiles. All of these systems age, like shingles on a roof. And to replace a section of waterproofing, putting blinders on to the other areas of the basement, is comparable to replacing a few shingles on a roof instead of installing a new roof when it has met its day. So, your choice to cancel with us and go with a cheaper fix is not unheard of, but is clearly a patch job. Speaking ill of me when I refused to do the cheaper and EASIER fix when I knew it was not the right thing for your parents is disingenuous and hurtful to read.
JK2, I apologize that I was no available to answer your questions. I was and inspector and not in the office very often. I am now in the office each day. Please call us at [protected]. If you have not received your deposit, I will MAKE SURE it gets to you.
Lastly, there can NEVER be a guarentee when it comes to waterproofing. No one can guarantee water will not find its way through the protection. That said, Everdry is the only life-time, renewable WARRANTY in the business. If you have kept up your warranty, they will strive to fix the issue. That's what the warranty is. And the fact that it transfers with the home to whomever owns it is BY FAR the most commitment you will find in this business.
I've been a happy Everdry customer for years, and I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. When the salesman came he spent HOURS answering all the questions we had, and we had a LOT! He was very patient and courteous with us, and seemed genuinely interested in informing us and helping us out. Needless to say, we had them out a few weeks later to perform the work. The crew was VERY kind, considerate, and well-organized. The whole job took about three days to complete, and they left the house just as clean as they came! Sounds too good to be true? Nope! I love Everdry!
Getting my basement waterproofed with Everdry was the BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! After years of dealing with a leaky basement, I finally decided to do something about it. Everdry came out after a call for a free estimate, and we agreed to have the drain tiles installed. 5 years later, I have no water in my basement! Couldn't be happier!
My basement flooded twice after my $12, 000. investment
with EverLie. They warranty but don't GUARANTY anything.
I had my basement drywalled & remodeled after my investment, only to have it destroyed by water, carpet
ruined, etc, all of which I had to handle clean-up & replacement on my own as a single senior...cost way more than I could afford. Lost wages, & emotional stress beyond belief. Stay away! Too tired to fight with them in court.
There is no doubt in my mind that EverDry is disorganized. They repaired my basement and boy do I regret dealing with this company. 20, 000 dollars later and more attempts to correct the situation than I can count and my basment is still no right. I filed claims with the BBB, the FTC, and the Wisconsin department of Consumer Protection. All of whom told me there is really nothing they can do. I now have a second mortgage on my home and my basement still leaks. Not to mention the mold thats growing from the dampness, the bugs I have and all the cracks they left in my basement floor. I tell you this company if full of promises that they never kept. They have lied to me, been rude to me, swore at me on the phone, promised to do repairs they never completed. Stood me up for appointments, and even showed up with out tools to fix the job one time. I have never dealt with a worse company in my life. Now of course I am stuck paying for a second mortgage on my home and the problem is not fixed and the company won't even deal with me. I have had numberous other companies come out who told me that Everdry really didn't fix my problems they just hid them by putting a plastic sheet on the wall to hide the water thats still coming in. I hope they get what they deserve in the end. Because they shouldn't even be allowed to practice buisness as far as I am concerned.
We had Flynn out for a FREE estimate, but the sweet talker talked us into having $17, 000 worth of work done, so we signed up as "on call" to save almost $3000. We were to talk to Flynn on Monday (he came on Saturday), but we couldn't get a hold of him. We called several times on Tuesday, but never heard back from him. Because we were told to cancel with him and him only, we decided to cancel (within our 3 day grace period), and took our cancellation notice directly to the office Tuesday night. We STILL haven't recieived our original $200 deposit back, and it's been 10 WEEKS! We are convinced that, though it was never cashed, they lost it in their office. DO NOT GO WITH EVERDRY! They are scammers and disorganized!

A couple of months later a sales man called from Everdry to try to rejoin but I declined and told him we did not feel comfortable with there hard selling tactics, he did not even mention they still had us on some list to have the work done. Time passed again and in December they called us to tell us it was time to do the work, a little annoyed by this time we told them to please stop calling us and take us off any list they may have. A few days later we got a bill for $3, 795 for services and/or supplies that never happened. I went in to talk to them and all they had to say were lies about what was said and the verbal deal their salesman offered us. If they come to your door do not let them in and by all means do not sign anything, even if they say it is safe and unbinding.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Recognition
I know that people like to copmplain about companies, but never really recognize a job well done. I recentley bought a house with the Everdry system installed in the basement. What a wonderful system! I didn't know a basement could be this dry! I was able to finish my basement and now have doubled my living space. I was even able to make a play room for my children without worrying about water, mold or the air quailty. And their work is backed by a guarentee! I don't expect to ever need service, but if I do, all I have to do is call. The staff have been so friendly, explaining what the system does and how it works. They even stopped out to do a inspection, just to make sure everything is working as it should. I cannot say enough of this company. After living in a house with a musty smell and water in the basement, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to not worry. To sleep through the night, knowing my belongings in the basement are safe and free of damage. I just wanted to let you know there are people who appreciate a job well done.
I know a lot of people like to complain about compaines, but never really recognize a job well done. I recently purchased a home with the Everdry system in the basement. What a wonderful system, I never have seen a drier basement. My husband and I were able to finish the basement, double our living space and create a play area for our children. I no longer need to worry about water, mold or having a musty smell in my house. Once I purchased my house, I contacted Everdry to "check up" on their system. They sent a representative out to check the system making sure everything was working properly, and it was. And their system is backed by a guarentee. i don't expect to ever need it, but if I do it's there. Way to go Everdry, Keep up the good work.
I recently had a issue with my battery back up system. I called and the very next day they sent me Jerry. He was very efficient and courteous and the issue was resolved in no time. This company stands by its guarantee along with great customer service.
This is honestly the worst company to work for. They repeatedly put down their employees. They use a "scare tactic" to generate sales. They prey on older people who don't know any better. Customers STAY FAR FAR AWAY someone else can do it cheaper and give you better customer service.
