I bought a pair of slippers for my daughter from the Retail Park (East London) store this morning. At 14h00 we went in to change the very small size 3 for a size 4.
The two cashiers available during this busy lunch period were both busy with customers who were with them for AT LEAST twenty minutes each. The manageress, Odette, walked past us in the queue several times and I asked if anyone could just assist us with a size change. Very dismissively, she pointed out the two cashiers.
Being on my lunchbreak, I was very stressed as the time passed by. EVENTUALLY, at 14h30 we were assisted.
It was completely unnecessary for us to wait half an hour to change an item for a different size while the only two cashiers available were assisting people with baskets of clothing for lay-bye, for return, then selecting additional items while holding up the queue.
The attitude of the manageress was most disappointing. She could easily have walked along the queue and looked for customers that could be quickly assisted instead of ignoring everyone.
I will never visit that store again.
